The sun dipped below the horizon as Billie and Y/N pulled up to Finneas and Claudia's cozy house. Billie was excited to spend time with her brother and his new family, especially now that Claudia had given birth to a beautiful baby girl just a few weeks ago.

The door swung open, revealing Finneas with a warm smile. "Hey, you two! Come on in," he greeted them.

As they entered, the sound of a gentle lullaby filled the air. Claudia was in the living room, cradling their newborn daughter, Lily. Billie's eyes lit up at the sight of the tiny bundle in Claudia's arms.

"Aw, look at her! She's so tiny and cute," Billie cooed.

Claudia grinned, careful not to wake the peacefully sleeping Lily. "She takes after her mom, don't you think?" she teased.

Billie chuckled and leaned down to get a closer look at the baby. "Hi there, Lily," she whispered. "I'm your aunt Billie. You're gonna have so much fun with us."

Y/N couldn't help but smile at the sweet scene unfolding before them. Billie, known for her bold stage presence, seemed to transform into a soft, caring presence around the baby.

"Can I hold her?" Billie asked, her eyes wide with anticipation.

"Of course!" Claudia carefully handed Lily over to Billie, who cradled the baby in her arms with a mixture of awe and tenderness.

A Boss And A Babe

It was not my favorite show from last year, but it was okay. Cher is a very extroverted character with a big heart and a loose mouth. Gun is a strict boss who can't find sleep without listening to Cher's voice. It is a different start for the relationship than we are used to, but it worked for them and for us too. Both have to deal with some stuff, but the tone of the series is mostly lighthearted. There are some love scenes, but not explicit and very tasteful.

A Breeze Of Love

I have to mention A Breeze Of Love! It is my favorite show from last year and it has to be in any list I put up 😅 It feels so good to watch this show! I just get happy when I think about it. There are no nc scenes, but you know those two want each other, especially Lee Do Hyun. The conflict between these two has its start in the past and of course it catches up with them. The series tells us that it is okay and needed to be honest with yourself before you can be honest with other people and before you can open up to them and love them. It is such a heartwarming series. Sorry, I love it so much.

Bad Buddy

A classic. A masterpiece. Such a good series. Do I need to say more? A classic enemies to lovers, Romeo and Juliet, story. And so well done! Nothing nsfw, but a good story with good acting, a great kiss and a very good soundtrack. The story of two different people falling in love with each other and decide to be together against all odds. It is rightly a high rated drama. The chemistry is one of the best out there and you just believe those two that they slowly fall in love with each other.

Be loved in house: I do

A workplace romance. And again, there is some trauma from the past, but the series itself gives such a warm feeling. For a long time this was my feel good pick. It touched my heart and it was funny (the mom is the best) and it makes me happy. The boss has a problem with workplace relationships and forbids them, not knowing that this will become a big problem for himself in the future. The mains have great chemistry and I love watching them cuddle!

Bake Me Please

You like cakes and a workplace romance between a cold hearted boss and a total ray of sunshine? This is the one for you. It gave me such a good feeling during december. It felt so cosy, even though the main conflict was... dumb... But nevertheless seeing Shin become more open and approachable and better understand the emotions and thoughts of others has melted my heart. And Peach was such a comfort character! Highly recommended.

Be My Favorite

This might not be the most lighthearted series out there, but it is such a good series. One of my favorites of 2023. It deals with grief and finding your place in life, acceptance and allowing yourself to love and to be loved for who you are. There are so many emotions and I was hooked from the first til the last second. Kawi is such a relatable character, especially in the beginning. I liked him and his journey a lot. And Pisaeng is such a sweetheart and I wish that every Kawi out there, who is looking for a partner, can find their own Pisaeng.

Cherry Magic

One of the most wholesome and perfect series out there. We have the japanese original and the current airing thai adaptation. The story is easy: Adachi (Achi) turns 30 and with that he receives the gift to be able to read the minds of everyone he touches. And that is how he learns that Kurosawa (Karan) has the biggest crush on him. Kurosawa is one walking green flag and he is so attentive, I love him. And Adachi is a shy sweetheart who could need a little bit more self-confidence. They are adorable together. The thai adaptation is also really good! I love it! And don't worry about nsfw scenes. At least the japanese version is very safe.

Hidden Agenda

I must admit, this is not one of my favorites, but it is cute and lighthearted for most of the times and the acting really improved. The Hidden Agenda is not so much hidden and I would have wished for some secrets and perhaps a longer period of pining and coming to terms with the fact that, hey I like a boy now. But it is cute and a good choice on a stormy sunday.

Jun & Jun

I wish they would have gone down the road with the scent-kink. That would have been so cool. But it is lighthearted and the dynamic of these two is great. It is a perfect watch for an afternoon. A workplace romance all around scents and when Choi Jun wears his glasses - chef's kiss! Such a good looking man. The plot itself is nothing very special, but good for a short entertainment.

Kiseki: Dear To Me

Kiseki, lighthearted? Well. I think it is not so problematic. Yes, it has a mafia plot, but the basic mood is more light. And you can just ignore the plot and concentrate on these two lovebirds. Ai Di and Chen Yi really safed this one for me. Their relationship is so fucked up in the beginning and to be honest, it doesn't get better, but cuter. Trigger warnings are blood and death and violence. But the nc scenes are chef's kiss, very well done, very beautiful and not that explicit.

Last Twilight

The show that ends this week and I don't want to let go of it! It was my highlight of the week. Day lost his eyesight because of an accident and needs a care taker. We meet Mhok, a young man who is condemned from his surroundings because he had spent time in prison, but whose character is just a soft green flag with the most respect for good people and with so much love to give. I want a Mhok in my life. He is such a sweetheart. And them together are such lovey dovey adorable puppies! Their dynamic is very natural and the chemistry is chemistrying! Plot wise a more mature bl, not that overly lighthearted, because it touches some sensitive topics, but I don't feel bad watching it. There is always this hope that keeps you warm.

Love Class 2

Okay, listen, the main couple deals with some trauma, but the rest is really cute and adorable and lighthearted! And the main couple is adorable too in the end. We have three couples, for a korean bl it has a really good nc scene (I got a little bit shy, but just because I had the feeling I needed to give them their privacy) and it has some nice kisses (indeed some of my favorite kisses of 2023 or ever). The story... Well... What story? Because there were so many couples, the story was a little bit flat. But every couple got their time and yes, nothing special was told, but in the end it made me feel good and I enjoyed it very much.

My Secret Love

And again, three couples, but more time to tell their stories. We start the series and the main cp with enemies and go on to fake lovers and of course finally to lovers. I liked the series. I liked the main couple and their differences and how they could make the other person rethink some of their actions, to become a better version of themselfes in the end. And the side couples were cute and lovey dovey.

Papa & Daddy

One of the really mature dramas about starting a family and the obstacles one has to deal with. It is a very realistic drama. It shows a short timeline in the life of this new family and their problems with themselves and the other parents and the child and their surroundings and how they try to solve these problems and to learn how to deal with homophobia on a new level, because now there is this child that needs to be protected and that is questioning their life as a family. I really loved this show. The second season... not that much, but it was still okay.

Secret Crush On You

If you manage to overcome the pure urge to turn it off while you watch the first or second episode because you cringe so damn much, you are gifted with a little gem. It is so lovely and the deeper message this one wants to tell us, I love it. You don't have to be perfect in the eyes of others, you can be a weird nerd and still be loved. You don't decide what other people find attractive about you. Just accept the fact that there are people who want to smack you and love you and protect you with all your flaws. Such a good series. And most of the times really funny!

Sing My Crush

I was so surprised when this came out, because I haven't heard about it before. And there is was. All of the epsisodes out and I thought, okay, I'll give it a try and I fell in love. The story of these two friends, one a musician and the other one his biggest fan, is adorable. They are so natural with each other and Im Han Tae is such a sunshine character. He is full of optimism and love, a total comfort character. And those two are soulmates. The development of their story felt so natural. Such a good series!

You're My Sky

I enjoyed this drama. It is build on pining and basketball and friendship and it has the brother from La Pluie, which is nice. I fell in love with the side couples, especially Sean and Aii, they are so cute. If you like sport dramas, this one is for you. It has a lot of sport. It is not the most lighthearted series, because all characters deal with some kinds of secret or obstacles to overcome, but it is well made.

HOOO BOY OKAY nickel and balloon. it was a bumpy ride fellas. going immediately from s2 where nickel was kinda a POS to s3 where they suddenly became acquaintances was a little weird to me. (especially in that one episode where silver & candle interrogate nickel about baseball. no suitcase mention?? huh???) but it was cool to see their journey! the buddy-buddy thing seemed weird throughout earlier episodes because in s2 balloon and nickel kinda hated each other's guts so i'm glad that was covered in a later episode and that their friendship was actually solidified. BUT that doesn't leave nickel off the hook if he dont march his ass up to suitcase and say sorry the minute they go back to season 2 i'm gonna have a WORD with that boy

BOT!!! OH BABY BOT they are SO adorable and i loved the reveal that they were a robot! i was so mystified on how bow was magically alive at the beginning and seeing that it was just a product of tt and fan's grief was very heartbreaking... but seeing bot evolve into their own person was genuinely so so so beautiful and the representation for queer folks is done very gracefully and it's very wholesome. seriously im not even trans and i was tearing up like a little bitch y'all. fan and test tube are the parents ever it's so cute and they are the cutest fam ever

Don't really consume original batman comics, can't have acess to this things but I started to read and watch batjokes stuff. I'll say that I consume from the dark and reflecting to the wholesome peak, and one of that keeps heartwarming me is Telltale batjokes. Love how John can go from scary smiling creature to a precious sweetheart. Also like to see different versions of Joker interactions with the batfam in the various fancomics and fanfics. What makes think how I don't see many fics about John Doe with the batfam. Of course I see that is because the Telltale universe doesn't have the Bruce's kids, what is really sad because I think that "collision" could give us some truly great things.

What scenarios do you think it could be treated on these stories that you haven't saw being made yet?

Also, I saw once a post a person made talking how they'd like about John exploring more his sexuality. Like, that would focus more in the John's experiences out of Arkham BEFORE meeting Bruce again. Trying new clothes, talking with new people, discovering makeup (that I think he wouldn't get acess in Arkham). Do you have any thoughts about that too?

Recently I watched some videos that talk about John's possible disorders. How looks like he keeps switching from 'John' to 'Joker' and how he was way more "Joker" in Arkham, maybe having a kind of personality disorder. Sure, must be in that way because they wanted a different John from the one that we have in season one, but we can dream about this a little bit, can we?

John Doe and the Batfam

I think one of the reasons not a lot of people (including me) have incorporated the batfam into Telltale fic is that a big selling point for writing it is that the Telltale-verse is its own thing. There's much, much less history to complicate matters if you want to write a canon-compliant story, which includes there being no children to distract Bruce from his relationship with John, which a lot of fic focuses on. The batjokes is certainly what I enjoy! I don't have anything against the batfam (and I'm actually trying to read a little more about at least some of them), but since that interest has never been super high, my fic ideas never went in that direction.

If I do think about bringing in batfam, well, I get a little stuck.

While John is a lighter flavor of Joker, he's still a Joker, and Joker is not a parental person. In the comics he has had some interesting nonviolent interactions with kids, indulging or even protecting them, but that's not the same as being responsible for them. And one of the stronger Joker characteristics John has is his obsession with Bruce and wanting his attention. I don't think John would go all "Death of the Family" on a kid brought into the manor, but he would be wildly jealous. Like, my first plot bunny is John getting a visit from Bruce, who tells him about witnessing this tragic accident at the circus that left a poor child acrobat orphaned, and wanting to help him. Then over more visits, we get a story of little Dick Grayson insisting on investigating his parents murder, so intently that he becomes Bruce's vigilante partner. And John, who's been gnawing on his jealousy over Bruce spending all this time with some kid, loses his shit that an 8-year-old is a better vigilante than he ever was. Just spiraling about how Bruce is forgetting about him. He breaks out, insisting he can help, but just gets thrown back in again. A tragedy!

Okay, let's try one with John out of Arkham, and let's go non-chronological this time and say Bruce meets Jason Todd first. Jason's trying to steal the batmobile's tires, of course, but he's also a witness to a murder or something, so Bruce brings him home. This time John directly witnesses Bruce bonding with a troubled kid, and the jealousy is worse because John recognizes all the ways Bruce calms him down. John and Jason don't get along at all because John is constantly trying to get Bruce to shuttle this kid off to a nice foster home, but similar to the scenario above, Jason's moxy earns him a Robin spot. Then a twist! Jason has leaned into Bruce's mentoring because he wants to find his mother, who he's sure is alive! And John is like, well dang, I'll help you find her if it gets you out of my house. And in some eerie parallels to Jason's comic death, they end up overseas and find Sheila Haywood, who it turns out is defrauding the aid organization she works for. On being discovered, the men she's working with attack Jason, and John has this terrible opportunity to take his jealousy past the brink and let whatever happens to Jason happen-- but he doesn't. He saves Jason instead, not just because he knows Bruce would be wrecked but because he sees parts of himself reflected in Jason. There, that's sort of nicer! I still don't think John would be parental after that, but it would be nicer??

John's Self-Exploration

See, the thing with John having new experiences after getting out of Arkham is that they have to be limited, because that's key to what happens with his character in the game. He's really struggling with finding who he is, because he keeps trying to emulate other people rather than figure out what he personally wants to do with this life. (Which would be understandable even if he was the average person. It's easier to model yourself after somebody else than to put yourself out there again and again to figure out what works for you.) Before Bruce reappears, John is focused on being who he thinks Harley wants him to be and having a place with the gang. It ties into his hatred for Riddler, who just outright disdained of him instead of simply tolerating him like, say, Freeze.

He still naturally does some exploration, of course. He has to dress himself outside of Arkham, and he's a talkative guy so he managed to find, uh, acquaintances outside of the Pact at the Stacked Deck. It probably would have helped him a lot if he'd done more of that, but as much as he seems to act independently in the game, all too often it's in service of impressing Harley or then Bruce. If I were to write about John's exploration, it would probably be about restraint. He would be full of curiosity about the ways other people express themselves, and he'd stifle it because he's not sure if that's what Harley would want. Makeup would be a big curiosity for sure, but I can see John not indulging either because he doesn't see a lot of other guys wear it or because he asked Harley if he could try her kit and she decided to psych him out about it because she could.

Is it too drastic to say that a John who had even trepidatious confidence for self-exploration might have found more balance and avoided his fate in the game? Maybe, but I have to wonder.

John In Arkham Versus Outside Arkham

Personally I tread lightly when it comes to assigning specific disorders to John. It's one thing if someone recognizes their own diagnosis in him and uses that to inform a fic. When it comes to the writing in the game, as far as I can tell, it was just working off characteristics common to the Joker: impulsive, manipulative, self-important, and infatuated with violence, with a poor sense of boundaries and an inappropriate sense of humor. Those traits may be consistent with certain disorders, but there aren't that many fic scenarios where I would feel the need to specify what applies to John, and in those cases I would be extremely careful. When it comes to pure speculation? I'm just not qualified. Heck, I have a fic where I gave John a heart diagnosis and I'm still hoping I wasn't super off-base.

As for the shift from "Joker" to "John," I ascribe to the fish-out-of-water explanation (which, yeah, papers over how Telltale simply needed to change his character for the story). John learned a more aggressive way to navigate life when he was incarcerated in a corrupt asylum, and when the rules he lived by there did not apply outside of it, he had to re-map. Not only did he have to learn different ways to behave, but he had to do it while feeling more off-kilter than usual, exposed and vulnerable. Make a mistake when living in Arkham, you just get put in a deeper hole in Arkham. Make a mistake outside of Arkham, you lose all your newfound freedom and get thrown back behind bars. I don't see a "switch" in John, just him reverting to more aggressive behavior at times, especially when he's under stress.

Spider-verse, but Nightwing

OK I once saw a comment somewhere which went along the lines of...

"I wish Dc would give us a animation-like Spiderverse of Nightwing"

and at first i kind of ignored it- cuz idk, i don't really care about Nightwing- I mean, i love him! He's great, but not one of my favorite batfamily members.

BUT THEN I REALIZED THE OTHER CHARACTERS WOULD BE THERE TOO

so, here's what i think a Spiderverse movie would be like,

(If the plot was similar)

Nightwing- Obv he's Miles Morales, the main character!

Gwen- OK, the love interest. So we have three main competitors for fan favorite ships! Dick/Wally, Dick/Barbara, and Dick/Kori! Now one of them is already cancelled by default, because Dc is a coward, so we only have Barbara and Kori left! and well, Barbara fits Gwen's personality much more than Kori, and that paired with the fact that DC favors DickBabs in general, WE HAVE A WINNER!

SpiderVerse- okay, this is where it starts to lean a bit away from the movies and a bit from the comics; Spiderverse is now the Court of Owls! My headcannon is that for some reason all vigilantes (minus Batman and one other person, u will find out) join the court of owls thinking it has the right idea, and then BOOM its not actually that good (it kills people it can't control). BUT its not that wrong either. When it figures out what its doing wrong, it starts helping the vigilantes against the real evil, which is...

Spot- The league of assassins :)) YES I KNOW, IT ISN'T REALLY A MAIN VILLAIN of Nightwing's, but STILL, it's too good of a opportunity to give up seeing Ra's and Talia in the movie.

Miles Parents- Bruce and Selina, obviously. I think Jefferson's personality as a parent is PERFECT for Bruce-emotionally-constipated-dad! Selina is Bruce's wife, obv, BUT there is one change here...Y'know that scene where Rio gives Miles that 'your un-grounded" talk? I think it would be Wally giving Nightwing a super cool heartwarming speech (it won't be the same though) and then turned out Selina was listening to it all and at the end is just like "sigh, ok, you're ungrounded, come back soon, i'll deal with Bruce."

NOW FOR THE REST OF THE BATFAMILY MEMBER'S

Tim Drake- DRUM ROLL PLEASE, Hobie Brown! Hobie's smart, and while his personality might be a bit too much....It's still perfect for the role Tim would be playing. Hobie doesn’t trust the Court, and at the end he’s the one who had everything prepared for when they realise that the Court Of Owls is wrong!

Stephanie Brown- AND SHE'S GOING TO BE OUR FAV CINNAMON ROLL, Pavitr Prabhakar. And as much as it pains me as a Pakistani to remove his Indian heritage, it must be done. He's goofy, he ships the two main characters, and is just adorable, he's perfect for Stephanie, and will definitely give her justice.

Cassandra Cain- Sadly, Cass is going to have a less prominent role in the second movie, but hopefully she shows up more in the third; Margo Kess! the scene where she lets Miles go is perfect, because she can detect body language and would understand that Nightwing is right, and Miguel is planning on hurting him.

Damian Wayne- FINALLY MY FAV CHARACTER, but this one is more of a original character instead of a already made character in the movie; Damian is going to be the person Dick has to save. Because i love their dynamic. So, Damian is probably being manipulated by LoA, and idk maybe Ra's is trying to use him as a body vessel without Damian knowing, and the court of owls needs him dead because "HES A WILD CARD" but Dick just NEEDS to save him "BECAUSE THAT'S MY BROTHER, DAMN YOU, IM NOT LETTING ANOTHER ONE DIE" and cue everyone fighting LoA and then a wholesome Dick and Dami scene; Feel free to elaborate on it.

Jason Todd- I had to think a lot for this, but i have a PERFECT answer; Uncle Aaron. ITS SAD AND WILL BREAK HEARTS BUT ITS PERFECT, HELP- The relationship with Jefferson? check. Dies? check. What more do we need?

This has come on in the car this morning when I drove to work and it just SCREAMED Gojo fucking Satoru to me.

Okay, this doesn't have to be some trust fund party or anything, let's just interpret this as some gathering for Higher Ups in Jujutsu Society, cause I know fully well Gojo would only show up to annoy everyone and then yeet. But guess what, you're there and he can't remember seeing you before. Turns out you hate all the higher ups, spent most of your time overseas and only recently came back to Japan.

Well, these aren't my people, these aren't my friends She grabbed my face and that's when she said I like that you're broken, broken like me Maybe that makes me a fool I like that you're lonely, lonely like me I could be lonely with you

We all know Gojo is secretly really lonely. That's why he clings to Nanami, that's why he's so into Megumi's life, that's why he hangs out with Yuji and Nobara more than a teacher. He's seeing something in them that reminds him of his youth, something that reminds him of when he was less lonely.

To me that's also another reason why he was so close to Suguru. Both of them were regarded as the strongest, therefore lonely by default. I feel for Suguru it might have been even harder at times considering he comes from a family of non-sorcerers. He didn't have anyone he could ask about sorcery and cures and such.

But then again, this is what bothers Gojo the most, that he's lonely deep inside, which he doesn't like to show. But once he meets someone who seems fine but actually is just as broken and lonely inside, I feel he would be taken by surprise and it would be hard for him not to open up and finally let everything out.

There's something tragic, but almost pure Think I could love you, but I'm not sure There's something wholesome, there's something sweet Tucked in your eyes that I'd love to meet

Those lines are so fucking gut wrenching to me. It displays the way you argue with yourself. You want to be close to someone, you want to be vulnerable but you're not sure. You know it's wholesome and heartwarming but at the same time its tragic and traumatic due to past experiences. Are you willing to overcome those past traumas and go for it? Gojo's not sure, but there's just something so sweet in your eyes that he can't let go.

Life is not a love song that we like We're all broken pieces floating by Life is not a love song we can try To fix our broken pieces one at a time

This is Gojo's conclusion. Love is the most twisted curse. But life without love is lonely, he knows that more than anyone. Even if he'd argue with himself, eventually I think he would take the jump, knowing that he risks getting hurt again.

HMM. I think it depends on the MC, but I have a feeling they would like Rom-Coms, Fantasy, and Mystery largely. Some of them might even be into Sci-Fi and non-fiction (biographies and memoirs). So... it's all over the place haha. Idk why but I can see 'Six of Crows', 'The Devotion of Suspect X', 'Book Lovers' and maybe 'Becoming' coming my way as recs. Maybe some spicier stuff too?

I would want the MCs to read the following, so that we could talk about it later HAHA: - The Secret Life of Bees (Sue Monk Kidd) - for the women supporting women, the intersectionality of racism and gender, apart from the soft and comforting style. - A Man Called Ove/Anxious People (Fredrik Backman) - no real reason, but it was so good. Bittersweet and heartwarming. - Heartstopper Series (Alice Oseman) - for how it addresses various physical and mental issues, its diverse representation, its sensitive narrative and just wholesomeness. - Animal Farm (George Orwell) - because of how disturbingly timeless it is, especially in today's time. - The Confession (John Grisham) - because of how it deals with racism and the very real failure of judicial machinery. - Circe (Madeline Miller) - To me, this was a story of a woman becoming her own institution, becoming her own empowered machinery

The issues I want the voltage characters to be more vocal about are those bare minimums that happen in our daily lives or affect the lives of the people around us. - The patriarchy that exists everywhere (including the ways in which it represses non-heterosexual, male identities such as women, LGBTQ+, etc) - How the state/govt machinery is functioning - Environmental debates - Discrimination and discriminatory practices around them (religious, sexual, gender-based, region-based, class-based, casteist, racist, etc) ^off the top of my head. Cutie Pie 2 U is making my heart soar, after LITA I’ve not felt like a show is making me once again look deep below the surface and think about context and yes I’m biased because I am biased of DMD but… I loved it, I can already discuss this episode in detail?? I can blag so much for DMD but it fits and it works and I enjoy the show much more and it makes sense and follows through, I’m very happy to see the growth in Cutie Pie all my faves are all showing so much growth and we’re still tackling the basis of the whole point of Cutie Pie, but we’re even more complex, dramatic ironic, and romantic, it’s so good how does this show manage to be so cute and fluffy on the surface but have so much heart and depth below it? It’s been fun to discuss about it again 🤧 Imma keep being happy in my delusional land about DMD shows and as people have discussed yes to the sex positivity we needed it I’m happy it’s back

My School President: Guess what I’m also biased about this because one I’m in love with Gemini don’t judge me he is my next bias I don’t play since Off Jumpol never felt such love for someone 🤧 Okay back to review, this episode was amazing whole shows like CP is harder to pull out the subtext and context and analysis, MSP is littered with it, it’s obvious in its thoughtful characterisations, its writing is structured, thought out and wholesome and nostalgic and realistic, and it has heart and warmth and comfort from its comedy, its ode to music (this is the team that’s great to odes see Bad buddy Romeo and Juliet, theory of love film theory and romance, and a tale of a thousand stars country side and drama) they be doing odes in detail and it be making my heart flutter because it’s effort from the directing, the music choices, the writing team, the acting we all have planned and made sure this show matters and is good and that’s why I love my team 😭😭 Au I am so proud of your directing debut you managing the team so we’ll and Backaof is helping in the background as always. I dunno I just love this team if I see them in BL together Imma scream from happiness for GMMTV only when they’re together cause when they’re seperated we get … but yes to MSP being one of the best GMMTV shows to come out in 2022 and defeating so many of its shows in just 5 episode with acting, story telling, depth, romance and more. It’s been worth every moment and this show has 5 more episodes to become my fave but with the way this team owns me I dunno I’m not goanna be shocked if it does.

I will Knock You; I mean how adorable is Noey as an idiot?? I just can’t help but to love the boy. I will Knock you is my happy pill I genuinely switch my mind off and just smile through it, it’s incredibly charming it’s romantic moments are actually really soft and heartwarming and it’s addicting. I like the development of its characters but I like how they’re not perfect either it’s like a mess if i have to think deeply about it but like it fits in my brain just seeing it as a plain romance that’s just funny, stupid and cute. And this episode was precious I love Noey and Thi, I love how they affect each other I love how they make each other smile, I love the symbolism in this show the connection to the basis of the show the soulmate trope I adore every aspect of it from Noey’s traditional stance on destiny and soulmates and romance to This version and his prejudice and insecurity blinding him to seeing he’s the leading love interest as Noey repeatedly nicknames him, I love their D/s components and I love their deep moments too. I adore the fact Thi eats Noey’s food so easily and is the only one able to stomach it just like he’s able to stomach Noey surface exterior and see beneath it to see someone romantic and warm. Anyways I love I will knock you not my fave but I’m obsessed with it every Friday literally makes me cheese and smile and normally I’m too busy noticing flaws for shows to enjoy but this just destroys that and makes me focus on the charm. Good for you I will knock you.

Chapter 79

Previous - First - Next - We know

Another day, more emails. It was a mix of calming and frustrating. Centuries of being immortal, yet here he was acting like he was just another mortal checking through his emails and trying to get through the work day. Reading through all of them was a pain, but handfuls were wholesome. Sydney kept him updated on whatever employee drama was happening and the growing fanmail was always nice to see in the heaps of trash. 

Omega for the time all agreed that Lapse had some horrible accident of some sort happened caused him to pull away, although rumors still spread of exactly what. Error just had to nod and roll his eyes as Ink tried to explain all the rumors to him. Anything from family tragedy to a secret lover, although, technically neither of those were wrong.

Even Dream talked about Lapse at times, but less of the rumors and of the times they hung out and how much Dream missed him. It was heartwarming to hear Dream talking about all the good times they had, but in the end, he just had to shrug with a smile, saying how good of a guy he sounded.

All of the stories just reminded him of everything he left behind as Lapse, and he desperately wanted to make it to the cafe in person, but it would be hard. He’d gotten better with smaller rooms, so that wasn’t much of an issue anymore. He’d even gotten to the point where he was nearly ready to move back into his room, back to his little safety corner. The main concern he had was making the time to leave for so long.

He could convince Death to be by his side since he and Ccino knew about Lapse, but then he had to make time away from everyone else as Error. Or he could convince Reaper to do a date cover story? That could probably work…

“You’re really lost in thought, aren’t you?” Hearts’ voice chuckled, pulling him from his thoughts, “Welcome back to the mortal realm, Error.”

“Uh… yeah. Sorry.” He spoke slowly, closing his laptop and setting it to the side.

“Oh, no need for that, darling. Probably lots in that amazing skull of yours- but, to the point, I’ve been wanting to talk.” Hearts smiled softly, “You okay with my office? Want a place that Ink and Dream won’t really walk in on.”

“Oh-” While Nightmare and Death knew of his past with Hearts, Dream and Ink had yet to–and were still unaware of Hearts' alliance to Nightmare, “Yeah, I should be able to.”

In a short time, they made it up to Hearts office. The place had hardly changed since last he was in there, the room still decently large, Hearts desk in a corner and the closet turned into its own personal snack station. Hearts pulled the both of them over to some bean bag chairs in the corner, handing Error some chocolate and settling in before starting up the conversation.

“I figured since your memories are over and you’re doing better, it’s about time I answered whatever question about the past you have, and let you know what things I had a hand in.”

“...What all did you help with?”

“Surprisingly? Not a lot.” Hearts huffed a laugh, “I was almost as clueless as you, the only thing I knew was not to explain your mistake, whatever it is, and that if I did, you would spend ages wasting your life trying to find a different answer. I’d lose you, everyone around you would lose you…” Hearts sighed, “The only thing I had a hand in aside from teaching you about the multiverse and Omega was Gaster.”

Error eyes finally drifted to meet Hearts, and the other’s expression was sincere as ever. His intent honest and kind, “Some Gasters are downright horrible, to everyone or just their sons, if they are connected to the Sans and Papyrus at all… Most are just complicated people like anyone else, sometimes doing bad things and sometimes good… a lucky few pull themselves back before they get to that point. I was tasked with letting Gaster know of his coming death, and he did what Core expected.” Hearts smiled wide and genuine, “He spent as much of his last time with you and everyone else in the underground as he could.”

Error’s cheeks began to burn, but he still smiled, nibbling away at his chocolate. “He was a great guy, and despite what you probably think, he’d be proud of you.”

I honestly don’t care if you never have a lover, or if you make a lot of friends, I just want you to be happy and have people that you can fall back on and trust.

“Yeah… he would.” He eventually murmured.

They basked in silence for a time, before a question came to Error. “What… how’d you do after we broke up?” Hearts raised a brow, a shocked expression, “I- I just heard about you building up Omega, and now you’re engaged to Blue… might as well ask.”

“Pfft, oh.” Hearts chuckled, “Just… wasn’t expecting that.” He mulled over it for a moment, before explaining, “Well, honestly. Life was fucking shit, I probably wouldn't have gotten through it without Classic and Fell. I poured all the emotion I had into Omega, building everything up.”

Hearts sighed like a weight was coming off his chest, “A couple of things at Omega that got their names because of you, actually. There's Sapphire avenue, Passion park, and Wingdings square.” Hearts listed, “Blue… Well, he came along a little later. About the time you were Geno, I think.” 

Hearts laughed softly, “He was–and still is–kind to me, pulling me away from work and convincing me to rest. He helped me when everyone in my AU passed away, and eventually Honey and Blue sort of took me in.”

Hearts smile went wider, a blush on his cheeks, “Stars, I spent far too many nights in Blue’s bed before we actually became a couple… but my blue-bear fought away whatever night terrors I had… although it still took a fair decade for me to accept how much I loved him. And then Cobalt was a happy addition a few centuries ago.”

Hearts looked up, locking eyes, “I know it’s a little touchy… but, I know he would like to talk to you too.”

Cobalt wanted to talk? With him? Was he even ready for that?

Even if Ink and Dream insisted that Cobalt didn’t blame him, there was still some guilt in his soul from it. Not that pit that pulled him in, but rock that he could barely swallow down.

“Error?” Hearts spoke up, pulling him from his thoughts again, “You don’t have to if you don’t want to-”

“No. No- I… he at least deserves to speak to me… especially since I’ve been avoiding him for so long…”

Hearts nodded, standing up and creating a portal in front of them, letting Error walk through first. The farm was as grand as ever, the bright sunny day near blinding. Hearts appeared by his side, and with a kind smile, turned and walked away, making a small “follow me” gesture.

Cobalt and Blue worked inside, both talking happily while grooming the horses, the little calf Spots from last time snoozing away at Cobalt’s feet. The chicken clucked and balked as Hearts walked forward towards them, and Error lingered at the doorway.

He could see Cobalt hug Hearts, and Blue walking over to pull Hearts in for a chaste kiss before hugging him close as well. As the two lingered in their hug, Error’s eyes drifted to Cobalt, standing with a hesitant smile.

Error did his best to return it, and Cobalt seemed to take it as an invitation to walk over.

“Hey… Error.”

“...Uhm, hey…” Cobalt huffed a laugh, “...uh, what?”

“Sorry, just weird to see how you’ve changed, how we’ve both changed really.” Cobalt laughed further, and Error hesitantly chuckled along with him, “But, despite all of that… I hope you know I don’t hate you.” Cobalt spoke honestly, his intent brimming with it. “And in a joking way, guess I was kinda right? Friendship was your weakness.”

“Your true weakness! That weakness? Friendship!” He feels the crash come on and leave faster than the last, he blinks away the glitches to no avail. Sans continues to talk, “Ah-ha! Knew it! But that’s okay! I’m here! I’ll help by being your first friend! C’mere Error! Gimme a big new friend hug!”

The laugh bubbles up and out before he can even process it, and Cobalt joins in with him.

When they both eventually calm down, Cobalt continues, “Despite all these sides and everything, it was nice to hear about you finally healing from Hearts. It was… horrible in that place. Both of us deserve better. And from the sounds of it, you found a lot better!” Cobalt smiled wide, and for a moment, he could practically see his Papyrus doing the same, “Glad you could help out Dream and Ink too. Both of them are always working so hard, but you and Nightmare do them good.” 

“Eh, we try.”

“Mweheheh, better than nothing!”

Lars and the Real Girl (2007)

If a genie granted me three wishes, I would ask for a satisfying and comfortable life, to be able to speak and understand all languages, and for the entirety of the 2000s indie Sundance-bait dramedy canon to be deleted from existence. The final wish being my most important. The public dialogue about anything from mental illness to queerness to feminism to whatever was a far cry from where it is now, and even today it isn’t perfect. But any way you slice it, Lars and the Real Girl is an absolute and complete disaster of a film pretending to be a heartwarming take on emotional development. Films and storytelling at large can absolutely use “heightened” elements or even the dreaded magic realism to convey ideas or lessons through abstract means. But when a film like this uses something so grounded and basic as a sex doll and then grafts an entire ethos onto it, it needs to be held to a different standard. That Lars gets Bianca as a mechanism to deal with his trauma, a needed process, in and of itself is fine in its own right. Except for the fact that it’s borne of shaming: Lars’ relationship status is constantly questioned in the opening scenes of the film in a way which connects being alone or solo or single to being unworthy. To not have a heterosexual relationship is to be ill. Later, when the town—reluctantly to some degrees, and then with increasing fervor—buys into his gamut, there’s the sense that, okay, he’s on the right path back to being a productive breeding member of society, so let’s help him along. Even if this is a fine metaphor, and it does have its wholesome moments where people help this man to understand that grieving is a normal thing and that we all try to support one another, the corollary becomes a problem. If Bianca is to be treated as a real person, what the fuck is wrong with Lars? HE KILLS HER. Do women have to die for Lars to realize that he can move on? What the fuck is with this movie’s mixed messages? Yes, this is pedantic, but if the movie is going to deal in some poorly executed heavy handed near-metaphor, it might as well think through the various ways it could be interpreted. I’m just so sick and tired of these mopey non-stories that play simultaneously Six Degrees of Separation from the Duplass Brothers and some tinkly DeVotchKa bullshit soundtrack.

The moment when Lars throws away the flower he’s given feels like a rough draft for Ken. Even back here there was another side to that actor than the steely-eyed killer he portrays in Nic Winding Refn films.

Strange question, but if you were to rank the riot forge games from best to worst, how would you rank them?

okay dont quote me on this ask cause im broke and ofc didnt play the games, only Ruined King cause it was the one i was interested with. I have seen some rants here and there about other games but, i never truly sat down and didnt even bother to type 'mageseeker lets play complete' on youtube just to watch. So this is a very random rank (i wouldnt even consider it a rank, just me talking about the games by just the very little things i know and some rants i've seen). Again do not quote me on this i do not have the criteria to do something like this :^) its a fun question though and im happy to (uninformedly) answer.

Starting with the worst because i like blood and guts.

Convergence is terrible, at least imo. No character depth aside from Ekko and dialogs are a bit shallow? They've made terrible writing decisions with the female characters wich made me physically gag while watching rants. The art is very nice, i like the bright colours and that type of chemtech lighting, if you get what i mean? I like the thickness of the black lines, its a good art style. Not even Camille could save this.

Next is probably Hextech Mayhem, but only cause i forgot it existed. I like that they made the artstyle more cartoony and goofy, i think it would had worked better on 2D rather than 3D though. In the end its a geometry dash, nothing more nothing less.

The mageseeker would be next but i dont know much about it. People say its good and i love they gave a chance to pixelart artsyle, its so fucking good. Its also good insight in Demacia lore, i just hate Sylas too much to be interested on the first place.

Okay this is tricky cause we're talking about unreleaseds so, dont trust my opinion. I think Bandle Tale will be good, at least good enough. Yordles being this misterious (and poorly written) creatures and getting to get maybe a biiit more of insight while playing a wholesome game doesnt look like a bad idea. Its a good oportunity for champions like Corki or Rumble that are almost always swept under the rug to get a bit more of insight.

Next is probably Sonf of Nunu and again its tricky cause it's unreleased, but we get to see Freljord and learn more about it. Also with very heartwarming characters, the little gameplay glimpses of the trailer reminded me when i used to play demos on my dad's ps3, like those types of platform 3d games like some sonic games? A bit of nostalgia. Also we get to see Braum in TWO Riot Forge games, thats already an extra point.

Now its obvious wich the best one is for me, of course the only one i had played and also the only one that has THAT character i would take a bullet for. Now i do have some problems with Ruined King but i think its a good game overall. I love the artstyle in the cinematics (2D ones), the animated intro is nice, i loved the soundtrack, the relationships between the characters is chef kiss. I wont talk that much over it cause i think i've already done it, unless anyone gun points me to do so.

2021: kdramas in review (the heartwarming, the frustrating, and the sob-worthy)

it is indeed, once again, december 31st and I am back with kdramas-in-review ✨2021 edition✨ (it is 8 pm as i write this so *high fives myself*)

this year has been a pretty good kdrama year (if we ignore the fact that I didn’t watch a single thing this december) I ended up having watched 54 dramas! plus a rewatch. thats pretty darn good if I do say so myself, also really highlights how little I accomplished this year lmao. just stayed at home and watched tv, truly inspiring.

this year was chock-full of major hits and major misses for me and unfortunately i’ve got some super popular ones as ones that I think were kinda bad *runs and hides* now disclaimer my friends, these are my opinions and you are very welcome to think i’m wrong! and thats okay!! I watched all of these in 2021 but not all of them were released in 2021. (quite a few of these have multiple answers bc im indecisive like that)

most heartwarming drama of the year

Racket Boys (2021)

this drama was so slept on!! its AMAZING YALL! it is genuinely the sweetest, most relatable, wholesome drama about friendship and all the dynamics that come with that. it's about first loves and the painful wonderful awkwardness of it all, it's about parents going through their own issues, them realizing they might be hurting their kids and wanting to do better for them, working towards actually listening to their kids and adapting and growing. it's about community and being there for others. It's genuinely so so good and everyone should watch it. the child actors are incredibly talented and i’m def going to be following their careers in the future.

Navillera (2021)

another absolute banger my dears, this was a beautiful drama and i loved it from the first ep. it's about going after your dreams, whether you’re young or older, and achieving them to the best of your capabilities. It's also about finding what you want to do in life, especially when you don’t have a specific dream. it's about the dichotomy of loving your parents even when they’ve failed you and deciding what level of a relationship you want with them. its found family and platonic m/f friendships and the pains of growing old and the tragedy that is alzheimers. navillera made me cry because of how absolutely beautiful and heartwarming it was. 10/10 recommend.

Youth of May (2021)

ahhhh hahahah i fucking sobbed. there's no way around it. this devastated me, ESPECIALLY because of how much i loved the characters and rooted for them and their happiness. myung hee and hee tae are two characters that are doing their best despite the situations they are born into and the expectations surrounding them in 1980s korea. this drama is joyful and painful all in 12 episodes and it hurt. it's about the gwangju uprising and the devastation that followed, so trigger warning for a lot of death. if you want just the happy adorable bits, just watch the first 6 eps and don’t touch the last 6 w a 50 ft pole.

Move to Heaven (2021)

wooo another sob fest occurred this whole drama. i think i cried through half the show? i accidentally ended up binging it because of how good it was. so i’d watch a few episodes, cry my eyes out, get a break from another episode, and then the next one had me weeping again. this is about geu ru (who is also autistic) who worked with his father as a trauma cleaner. his father passes away in the first episode and geu ru has to process his grief while also dealing with meeting his estranged uncle. this was an excellent look at societal issues in korea, what grieving looks like on different people in various circumstances, how people even process their grief. so many stories in this were so touching and heartbreaking while also being incredibly heartwarming.

Run On (2020-2021)

this ended in 2021 so i count it as watching it this year! seon gyeom and mi joo are the realest couple out there, these two are so wonderful and adorable while also showcasing the awkwardness in adult relationships and how miscommunication can be solved with… communication. they care about each other deeply while also not intruding on each other, respecting each other's boundaries, promoting that self love is the key to happiness and a long-lasting relationship. just so cute and precious.

Vincenzo (2021)

these dorks!! our lawyer power couple, absolute icons. their fashion and one-liners are enough to kill em dead. they are so so funny and are partners in the truest sense (which is my actual lifeblood). they bicker and didn’t really like each other at first, before we got them slowly moving to friendship! then partners/best friends!! then mutual pining!! its truly beautiful. vincenzo isn’t a romance (sad days) so our babies don’t get together till the very end but the journey was so much fun that i didn’t care at all.

Youth of May (2021)

i loved myung hee and hee tae and their relationship was precious and loving and funny and full of banter. they’re both absolute sweethearts and i want to be best friends with both of them. i related to myung hee so much, especially with the love she has for her younger brother. she is so brave and kind and hee tae is so smart and funny, they were perfect for each other. they were each other's chosen family and I just thought that was beautiful.

Doom at Your Service (2021)

another banter-filled, adorable, dorky couple! can you tell I have a specific type lol. these two were precious!! they supported each other, they were so goddamn funny together. their senses of humor matched perfectly and i laughed so much with them. dong kyung was relatable and myeol mang was wholly there to be a complete simp for her (as i think we all were). their relationship was honestly the driving force of this show (the plot is a little not really there and i didn’t love the side couple situation)

Happiness (2021)

MY BABIES <33333 i just finished watching this one and i. loved. them. they’re best friends to lovers with a marriage of convenience and seemingly unrequited pining but it's requited!! *sobs in happiness* (lol get it)

they’re partners, they care about and understand each other on a deep level. they know each other better than the back of their own hands, they support one another from episode 1, they were married! before they even realized it. just perfection. happiness is a mystery/thriller and these two absolutely stole the whole show.

I have to give this to hosplay because i genuinely have added almost every single song from season 2 onto my playlist. my personal favorite is Running in the sky by HYNN, i had this on repeat for like a month.

ahhh where to even start with this one…. first off, it was jtbc’s special anniversary drama which meant it was supposed to be,,,, i dunno,, good? and it was good at first. and then it got worse and worse and worse. i don’t think anyone really watched this one and tbh i wish i was one of them. the story is ridiculous, the ending is ridiculous, the whole thing failed to come to any sort of conclusion. the character work was atrocious. just nope. save your time and energy. if you watched this and want to read my rant after i finished it click here lol

The Devil Judge (2021)

um i know a lot of people loved this but i didn’t. i get why others do, but i just couldn’t get over the writers for this one killing off half their female characters?? (all their main lead women btw) all for man pain??? or furthering a male plotline. like… please. soo hyun? dead for ga on’s pain. sun ah? dead. cause she gives up or her love for yo han or something?? i dunno man. even kyung hee got killed off to further the plot. at least elijah and jin joo didn't die *sigh*. my problem isn't that these women are dead, it's that only one male character died to further the plot and he was a supporting character. the scales are not even.

Jirisan (2021)

another one where almost every woman died to further the plot, except jirisan is even worse than the devil judge. bc in devil judge at least 2 survived. in jirisan, every woman in the title credit scenes except our female lead dies! all of them!! the fuck?? yang sun? dead. da won? dead. the grandma? dead. i cannot. none of the men died, just why. me no likey.

Mouse (2021)

pffft this show was ridiculous by the end. i actually really loved it for the first 10 eps, thought it was really interesting and engaging. and then the last 10 eps were dragged out, the story devolved into nonsense, things conveniently happened to move plot points along, the supposed “science” behind psychopaths got convoluted and don’t get me started on the amount of random brain surgeries occurring. as if the brain isn’t the most complicated part of our body. i have to laugh, truly. if you wanna give this a chance, go for it. but be prepared to suspend your disbelief all the way to jupiter.

Devil Judge (2021)

putting aside the fridging of female characters, uhh the story got so dragged out and boring by the end? was it just me? i was so bored the last 6 eps, the whole televised court system thing got repetitive and the points they bring up are really obvious ones?? at least to me. i didn’t love yo han like so many others so that's probably why i didn’t like it. again, give this a go if you wanna try it but be prepared for a lot of political jabber.

my queen, my girl, my ride or die. I love kang sol with my whole ass heart, i relate to this girl on a molecular level. i too suck at studying, i too am clueless to blatant flirting, i too will defend my friends to the death, i too wish to be as smart as her. she proves over and over again that tests don’t prove shit and her genius is shown through application and how she treats others. law school also has one of my favorite female friendships of all time, 💞💞💞ye seul x kang sol 💞💞💞

Ji Woo: My Name (2021)

i want to both hug jiwoo and be her best friend. she needs one very much and i am all too willing to provide. she was amazing to watch, her drive is inspiring, her story was heartbreaking. shes a complicated messy wonderful smart human being

Saebom: Happiness (2021)

if saebom stomped all over me, i would thank her. she is so smart, a complete and total badass. she’s also a lil weirdo and i love her for it. she cares about others but she’s not willing to let herself be emotionally trampled for it. she knows her boundaries and she protects them as well as being a fighter for the boundaries of those she cared about. i adore her.

Myung Hee: Youth of May (2021)

myung hee… my girl… she is a protective older sister who puts the needs of others above her own and wow do i relate. she has a tumultuous relationship with her dad and is a single female in 1980s gwangju trying to be independent and support herself. she works on trying to put herself first while also caring about her family. she is selfless and helping others is her life (she’s a nurse). again, i love her dearly. one of my favorite female characters.

Hye Jin & Du Sik: Hometown Cha Cha Cha (2021)

here they are!! my king and queen in all their glory!!!! if you know me or follow my blog, you know how much i love these two. they 100% could have also gone into chemistry royalty but i thought that list was getting long and this section is dedicated to them because that's how much i adore them. they’re bickering/enemies to lovers, they’re absolute perfection. they are perfect for each other, they learn to care about each other's quirks and not to judge one another based on initial perception. they challenge each other to be better, they talk to each other when they have problems. they love each other openly and loudly. they’re just so so great and a joy to watch.

this was so much fun! the vibes were there, the stories were all based on real events in korea which makes it even cooler. it was so engaging and interesting, plus lee je hoon fucking delivered. it felt kinda like leverage but with more trauma and i loved seeing the gang succeed and take down bad guys. i got my brother to watch this and he loved it too

Happiness (2021)

this drama was laced with something, i swear. i could not stop watching it. the vibes, the music, the characters, the fast-paced plot, it was all so so good. watch it!!

D.P. (2021)

these are the 6/8/10 ep minis that netflix has been releasing this year, like; squid game, hellbound, my name, the silent sea, etc…

my personal favorite of the bunch hands down has been D.P.. it talks about an issue i didn’t really know a lot about, the military and its weird politics, rules, rigid structure and how it can really hurt some people (specifically men in this situation). i loved the dynamic between our two main leads, they were funny and kind of sad and heartwarming and engaging. this show broke my heart and im so excited for season 2 whenever it comes out. this drama has a lot of triggers so send me an ask for them (i also have a post)

Hospital Playlist 2 (2021)

this season was so funny! i died laughing at so many parts, they really focused on the supporting characters this season rather than an overarching plot. I know other people didn't love it as much as hosplay s1 but i loved this season just as much. plus iksong finally sailed!! clutching my heart over here.

Hometown Cha Cha Cha (2021)

is this a surprise? nope. a beautifully filmed slice of life that explores people and various societal issues in korea. like divorced couples and the impact on their kids, parental death, how pregnant women can get treated by men (more specifically their husbands). it also focuses on regular day-to-day issues like living with loss, letting oneself feel their tragedy rather than bottling it up, opening yourself up to new relationships, not judging based on initial perceptions, being there for others, being kind, and so much more. a wonderful wonderful drama that is near and dear to my heart.

Reply 1988 (2015-2016)

I finally watched this!! I watched it earlier this year and then promptly rewatched it two months later. I adored this drama and the end makes my heart hurt in a good way and I can’t believe it took me this long to watch this. I get the hype, i truly truly get it.

Doom At Your Service (2021)

the fantasy elements were a lot of fun, myeol mang was actually a lil scary when he was hunting down bad guys (it was also hot af ngl). doom at your service was really enjoyable and was more a fantasy slice of life? the focus wasn’t really on the supernatural in this one, it was more on dong kyung and her prognosis.

Little Forest (2018)

the quietness of this movie, showing the peace of living in a small village really made me want to live in a quiet town. i LOVED the detail of showing the food being made, it was so peaceful and calm. touches on themes of figuring out what you want to do in life, finding your own path and coming to terms that what you wanted as a kid might not line up with you as an adult.

Train to Busan (2016)

i watched this! extremely behind the trend as always!! and it was so damn good. i cried at this movie too. trust everyone’s reviews and watch this, it is so good.

Extreme Job (2019)

i watched this for honey lee and no regrets, this was funny as fuck. its about cops opening up a chicken restaurant as part of a sting and then being extremely successful at it. its got cool fight scenes, interesting characters, and a hilarious ending.

if you didnt see ranboos subathon, i want you all to know there was this extended period of time, maybe like 2hrs, near the end where he went into his hypixel housing area that has parkour set up (idk how this works) and then just vibed in the world with them.

it was like. very wholesome. he spent a lot of the time just sitting, staring at the little people jumping, while talking with chat and it was so cute. he kept complimenting their skins and encouraging the people in the world to friend each other because of something along the lines of "the best way to make friends is to have a shared interest."

by the end when he finally forced himself to leave them (he got very attached) he told everyone to scatter and stand on their own/with friends instead of grouping around him so he (and them) could get screenies together (yes ranboo himself was taking screenshots). and the last thing he did was make a "crown" (gold blocks in a one up one down pattern) for everyone to stand on so they could all get one screenshot together. he even tp'd the afk people and repeatedly went up to the people who weren't joining the crown to make sure they were okay with not being in the screenie.

i think its the closest thing ranboo can currently do to a meetup with fans and thats just. idk it was just such an oddly heartwarming moment.
