i find it so comforting actually to read how much of himself chibnall put into 13. like this person who i probably have nothing in common with except for that we both like doctor who, he put his life experiences into the doctor, experiences that i dont even share, but he put himself into the doctor in a way that made me see myself in the doctor. which made me start writing the doctor. and then when i wrote her i put myself in her, my own experiences, experiences chibnall probably doesnt share. we’d have very little to talk about if we ever met i think but through the medium of this character it’s like this moment of human connection. in some indirect indirect indirect way.
