can i be honest. i dont think my meds really do much aside from raising my depression levels from literally cannot get out of bed for multiple days to can get out of bed most days but they also have made me much less numb and i think thats why my grief for my aunt has been so drastic these last few months. bc when she passed i just did not process any of that idk. im feeling it all right now

#its not that i wasnt effected her passing def was a major cause of the depressive episode i was in #but now that im out of it i actually have to feel it instead of being completely numb #its very hard #also i know its bc of the holiday season and not having her around for that #and the anniversary of her passing is next month #so its just a lot in general. but not being literally incapable of feeling things is just like. wow #idk #i dont know if i like this tho #i know i need to function but it was much easier feeling nothing

#The boy and the heron #how do you live #studio ghibli #ghibli #in all honesty that movie was legitimately so fantastic and im like changed as a person #Story wise as well! It hits really hard if you know a bit about miyazaki and his legacy. Its a very personal movie i think #And you can feel it in every aspect #The eng dub voice actors were really good as well and the animation was beautiful as always #Also really loved the tone!!! The story really relied a bit on the use of negative space in both sound and pacing and i enjoyed that alot #in conclusion go read a article about miyazaki and his son and then go watch the movie it’s probably going to be one of my favorites #image id in alt

#dog books #this chapter was very sad reading #when you become aware of punishment #and its use and its prevalence #it's hard not to despair #again this is why positive reinforcement feels like absolution #maybe now my eyes are open I can make up for what I did #what I did because it's what everyone does #because it's more acceptable to punish than to do anything else #I've been having so many thoughts about punishment and society and justice #this book was very validating #another great validating moment in my jumbled thoughts #was listening to the You're Wrong About episode on justice #with Amanda Knox #it helped to ease the despair a little
