Mention the words Mikoto Misaka and Aquamarine and you mention a combo that withstands the tests of time. A clear-cut favorite to finally get over the hump and win re-election as Saimoe Prime Minister, Misaka routed Rikka Takamashi 4048-1923 to win the Necklace on Match Day 6 of the 2022 International Saimoe League Aquamarine Period. Yukino Yukinoshita was third with 1649 votes, Violet Evergarden was fourth with 1314 votes, Kurumi Tokisaki was fifth with 1058 votes, Mai Sakurajima was sixth with 643 votes, Rem was seventh with 541 votes and Eru Chitanda was last with 467 votes in a rare tough day out for Hyouka.

Hachiman Hikigaya won the Aquamarine Pendant, accelerating past Accelerator 3786-2455. Yuuta Togashi was third with 1891 votes, Houtarou Oreki was fourth with 1298 votes, Sakuta Azusagawa was fifth with 862 votes, Kazuto Kirigaya was sixth with 738 votes, Kiyotaka Ayanokouji was seventh with 544 votes and Sora was last with 487 votes.

A Little About Me, Mira

My Yume character, Tachibana Mira, I mean. (But also me)

The first few things you need to know, if you’re even interested, is that in Yume Canon, Mira is 20 starting out. She has the same birthday as Citron (May 15th!) because it is My Actual Birthday. She and her Best Friend (of 8 years) Kyuki Yubi (They/them) start out co-directing the Mankai Company. Eventually, they end up directing the Spring and Autumn Troupes (Equinox) and Summer and Winter Troupes (Solstice) respectfully. Mira is the same height as Taichi (172cm)

She is Tachibana Izumi’s Younger Sister, and Izumi is 24 chasing her curry dreams and working at a curry restaurant hoping to one day open her own. She does make appearances frequently at the Mankai Company Dorm.

A few things you don’t need to know, but should be aware of are: Mira is Me and I am Mira. That is my name. Kyuki Yubi is the yume character for my IRL Best Friend of 10 years. I got their permission to talk about Yubi as much as I please ^~^. We got into A3! at the same time. I also use Yume as a way to cope, and a lot of what I write is very personal and this is my way of pushing my boundaries. If you don’t like it, just don’t interact. I am also American. It’s unfortunate.

More lighthearted things that can be treated as fun facts~: Mira starts out with She/Her pronouns but eventually will go by Any of them, so in works that happen after act 2 begins (somewhere in there) the pronouns used will change. I’m only kinda sorry if its confusing. | I actively dislike Utsuki Chikage (for personal reasons) and that is explored in writing. | Tasuku is the character I mainly write for but I’m in denial about liking. | Taichi is my favorite Character and Autumn is my favorite Troupe. This is very apparent in my writing.

There are also Yume Ships, obviously. However, if poly isn’t your cup of tea, feel free to leave. The door is right there.

The Sankaku Senshi consists of Misumi, Hisoka, and Omi, and Translates to Triangle Warriors. This is the ship name for the open relationship that Mira and them share (they do have other relationships). However, The Sankaku Senshi is actually the name of the group the three of them make in Act 2, suggested by Hisoka. Tasuku eventually joins (Unfortunately). | FuyuFairies is the ship name for Fuyupoly and Yubi. | I actually ship FuyuFairies and they actually ship Sankaku Senshi. My best friend made little discord emotes for them too and it’s great. | FuyuFairies happens first in the timeline. FuyuFairies is adorable and sweet and very very very good I personally enjoy this very much, but that might just be because I just want my best friend to be happy and Winter Troupe brings them so much joy. I don’t know if I’ll post much of my Fuyufairies writing because I write those things for my best friend, but they will be mentioned and implied and stated in many other things.

Headcanons: Mankai Language Exchange Program

The acceptance e-mail comes as you're standing in line at the coffee shop on Tuesday morning, waiting to order your regular espresso to start your day. Congratulations! the first line read. We are pleased to announce that…. You want to scream and jump up and down. You don’t, of course, since you’re in public, but you do smile a bit wider than usual when you go up to the register.

Your professor had recommended it to you when you asked about cheap study abroad options (you needed the credits to graduate, but boy were the programs printed on the flyers expensive). It was a full-immersion program, mainly for theatre majors but open to all students who passed the application process. You would be spending the summer volunteering at a theatre company in Japan, living in the dorms and helping out backstage, getting to know the actors and crew while also taking language classes at an adjacent university.

You’re excited, but also nervous. Three months of living with strangers? Not only that, strangers who don’t even speak the same language as you? Sure, you’ve done pretty well in your Japanese classes, but what if you mess up on the first day and accidentally insult someone and have to spend the rest of the summer with everyone hating you and-

Needless to say, your heart is pounding when you step off the plane, clutching your overstuffed carry-on bag so tightly your knuckles feel like they’re going to pop. The theatre you were supposed to volunteer at - Mankai Company - had sent an e-mail saying someone would pick you up from the airport. You squint at your phone, trying to see if the kanji matched any of the signs people were holding up.

You spot a young woman with long brown hair waving at you, standing next to a man with glasses. “You must be the exchange student, right?” She asks when you walk over. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m Tachibana Izumi, the director at Mankai Company.”

She has such a warm, bright presence you immediately feel ridiculous for worrying as you introduce yourself. “It’s nice to meet you too!”

You weren’t sure what to expect a house full of actors to be like. Maybe something like those celebrity reality tv shows you secretly love, full of stuck-up snobs and petty drama.

Instead, you follow the director into the main room to see a teenager with orange hair shrieking, another person climbing the ceiling like Spider-man, someone chasing a bat of all things around the room with a spray bottle, someone speaking grandiosely in what vaguely sounds like French, someone playing a video game, someone sleeping in the middle of the floor (he stirs when you almost trip over him) and yet another person holding his phone up and cheering “Yeah, Tsuzurun, to your right! You got this!”

The director marches to the window and opens it, letting the animal fly out before turning around with her hands on her hips. “What did I tell you all to do?”

“Clean the house,” the one gaming answers without looking up.

“Right. Now would somebody care to explain how a bat got in here?” Slowly, everybody points to the person on the ceiling. “It looked like a-!” You’re not sure what he says next, because it sounds like “triangle” but he couldn’t possibly have said that, could he?

(He did. He totally did.)

To your relief, the actors at the company aren’t nearly as snobby as you were fearing (although some are more down to earth than others). They’re actually a lot of fun to talk to.

One of the guys from their Summer Troupe will chat with you frequently - he’s one of those extroverted types, you figure - although most of the time the conversation will end up with him saying a slang word you don’t understand and both of you furiously trying to find an equivalent translation on your phones. You teach him English slang words in return, but part of you regrets it when he walks into a room saying, “What’s good, fam? You won’t believe the tea I have!” (Tsumugi: “But you don’t...have any tea?”)

The younger kids are sweet, particularly the pink-haired one who tends to rattle off on a tangent, apologize when you ask him to speak slower, then start rattling about how terrible he is. (You’re a bit concerned about him.) Some of the middle schoolers even start asking you to look over their English homework. You’re not a teacher by any means, but you try your best to help them out.

Your favorite person to talk to is Citron, hands down. He’s another exchange student and he gets it; he’s always able to make you laugh when you make a dumb mistake instead of feeling embarrassed.

Your least favorite person to talk to is Sakyo, because he will not understand what you’re saying unless you pronounce it flawlessly with perfect grammar. Then at the end of the summer, as you’re eating your last dinner at the company before having to catch your flight the next morning and promising everybody you’d DM them at least once a week, he turns to you and says in perfect English, “Your Japanese has really improved since you first arrived here.”

You kind of want to stab him, but 1) you’re pretty sure he’s in some shady business and 2) technically, you can’t say he’s wrong.

Narcissus or Daffodils in Kurdish culture it is the symbol of new year. This flowers are seen to represent rebirth and new beginnings. (FTD.com & Interflora)

Busy streets, actors in every corner, theater troupes distributing fliers at the station and advertising their selves with street acting. How nostalgic, memories slowly fill her head, memories she treasures and even memories she despise.

"Are you alright?" Her father asked her.

"Of course, Dad. Thank you for asking." She answered with a smile.

"Let's go, so we can unpack your things and rest." Her father said before driving.

She didn't expect to be back, here in this town where her life started and supposedly ended. She doesn't want to remember, she don't want to go through that again. She love the stage up until now, and she's willing to do anything to protect it.

"We're here. Go inside and rest, I'll bring them to your room." He father told her.

"I'll help it's my stuff after all." She said and was about to help carrying her stuff when her father interrupted her.

"Don't worry and rest first. You need energy to unpack later." Her father took her things from her grasp, she can only nod and obey her father.

She went to her room in the second floor of the house, she went straight to her new bed and lied down. She stares at her ceiling, lost in her thoughts, as she slowly succumb to slumber.

"Ahre, it's weird I can't see it anywhere. Where it could be?" Tsumugi asked nobody as his head roamed around searching.

"Tsumugi-san? What's wrong?" A women in her mid-twenties asked him.

"I'm looking for something, I can't see it anywhere. It's uh... something important." Tsumugi answered.

"What kind is it? I can help." The director whose name is Tachibana Izumi.

"It's a pressed flower bookmark. I last putted it in one my books." Tsumugi answered.

"I'll tell you if I see it around." Izumi told Tsumugi.

"Thank you, Director. I appreciate the help." Tsumugi said with a smile.

He kept looking for the pressed flower bookmark but he still can't find it, he should take a second look at everything again tomorrow, but for now he have to sleep, he have to rest for their morning rehearsal. He went to bed worrying where the bookmark might be, he doesn't want to lose it. Thinking and worrying made him more tired and slowly his eye began to slowly close and fell into slumber.

The sun shines once again. It's a sign for a brand new day, the usual Tsumugi would be still asleep but today's different.

"Hn... It's not in either of the books, just where did I put it?" Tsumugi ask no one in particular.

"Tsumugi? How unusual, what are you doing?" Tasuku asked his room mate when he saw him after his morning jog.

"I'm looking for something, I can't see it anywhere. It's the bookmark I always use. I can't lose it." Tsumugi answered as he kept looking through his desk.

"The one with the dried flowers? Why not try looking under the desk or something? I'll help you look for it later, I'll just take a shower." Tasuku said as he exited their room after grabbing a change of clothing.

"Un, thank you Tasuku..." Tsumugu uttered, "Maybe I should try and look under the desk, it might have went there." Tsumugi said to himself as he crouch down. 'Now where is it? I hope that it's only here somewhere under the desk...." He though as his eyes roam around, "Ah! Found it!" He exclaimed when he saw the bookmark.

"I'm glad that it's just here, I might have panicked too much last night." Tsumugi sighed as he putted the bookmark in a much more safer place.

ーーーーーーーーーー

"Good work everyone. Let's end the practice here today, and also Tsumugi-san, did you found what you are looking? You seemed so panicked last night." The director asked when she saw Tsumugi entered the practice room.

"Yes, I've found it. Thank you for asking and sorry for the disturbance last night and for worrying you Director." Tsumugi greeted and apologized.

"Ah— it's fine, Tsumugi-san. I'm glad you found it, it seems super important to you after all." Izumi smile at Tsumugi.

"I'm glad you found it, Tsumugi. But I wonder, who gave that bookmark to you and it makes you frantic immediately?" Azuma asked in curiosity and concern.

"Ah, that's a present I received from my past lover. She gave it to me when we went on a picnic." Tsumugi answered as he thinks aback.

"Is it the one you dated for a year?" Tasuku asked, now curious.

"Yeah, it's indeed her. But I haven't talk to her since then, but I don't want to lose what she've given after all the effort and things she did for me." Tsumugi said in a very soft tone.

"Now, I wonder how did things go when you opened up about your desire to go back here?" Homare pondered.

"She... She somehow looked happy and shock at the same time, but she understood me. And told me off ahahaha she even send me off and told me that if I ever come back there empty handed she'll beat me. But I know that she's just saying it so that I won't run away again." Tsumugi explained.

"She sounds like a good person." Izumi told Tsumugi.

"Yes, she is a good person. But... I haven't contacted her, I'm kind of worried..." Tsumugi trailed off.

"Why not try contacting her then? There's nothing wrong in asking her how she've been." Azuma suggested.

"That's actually a good idea, I can somehow see her saying why didn't I even contacted her once." Tsumugi chuckled as he pictured the scenario in his head.

*buzz* *buzz*

"Good morning, this is Tsubaki Ume. Who might this be?" She said as she picked up the incoming call.

"Ah, Ume-chan? It's me Tsumugi, how have you been?" As soon as she heard his voice, her world seemed to stop and she can only hear the sound of her heart pounding hard ,"Hello? Ume-chan, are you there? Are you okay?" She was brought back in reality by Tsumugi's concerned voice.

"Tsumugi-kun... Yes I'm fine, I was just shocked. You decided to contact me after 3 years? How have you been? Are you apart of a theater now? Did you made up with your childhood friend?" Ume asked Tsumugi with a soft loving tone.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm now part of a theater called Mankai Company, along with him."

"Mankai Company? I thought that he's with Godza?" She asked when she heard a familiar name in curiousity.

"A lot of things happened when I came back here, but I called to see how are you doing, I'm sorry that I only contacted you now."

"Nah, it's fine Tsumugi-kun, and by the way I quitted the company not a long ago and I moved back in my father's house."

"Eh?! Moved back? Does that mean your here in Veludo? Why didn't you tell me sooner, we could have talk much earlier." Tsumugi pouted.

"Says the person who didn't contact me for 3 years ahahaha, but yeah I'm in veludo, wanna meet?"

"Yeah, that goes without saying, shall we meet up at the station tomorrow?" Tsumugi asked with a bright smile and voice.

"Yeah, I'll see you there. I'm gonna send you the details later, Thanks Tsumugi... And I missed you..." She whispered her last sentence softly.

"I missed you too, Ume. I'll see you tomorrow."

The episode two of Hanakotoba (浜言葉) is now here!! I apologize for the late update/post, because despite starting this AU of mine I don't have any clear plans on how that chapters will start and end. I just use 100% of my imagination and go with the flow. But despite that I will try to update every 2-3 days.

How the A3! characters address my Yume Character

Because I’m feeling down and need to get a boost.

Spring:

Sakuya- When they first meet, he only uses director to address both of them, but eventually will start using Mira’s name when they aren’t in rehearsal. [Mira-san]

Masumi- He will only refer to her as director and no one else. He also heeds to her request of never speaking her name. [Director]

Tsuzuru- At first, he’s very formal, calling her Tachibana-san and Director only. But, as they go to school together and start to get closer, he eventually uses her name. [Tachibana-san, Director, Mira-san]

Itaru- Before they realize they both play video games, he only calls her director. After they play video games together, however, he will sometimes use her gamertag, and her name [Mira-san]

Citron- Again, will first call her director, but will come up with many nicknames for her as time goes on. Eventually, with the introduction of Kazunari, he adapts the nickname Mimi for her. [Mimi, Mira, Director]

Chikage- Their relationship is rocky, but he interchangeably uses Mira-san and Director. [Mira-san, Director]

Summer:

Tenma- Like Sakuya, he uses director, however that is dropped quickly as the directors figure out where they fit. Mira tells the Summer Troupe to just use her name. [Mira-san]

Yuki- N o one can escape his nicknames. I think he’d take one look at what she wears everyday and call her a blueberry. It sounds cute, but it’s pointing out that she only wears blue. [Mira-san, Blueberry(Subject to change)]

Muku- He’d take a while to get used to her name, but he would eventually use it. [Mira-san, Mira-chan]

Misumi- Straight up just uses her name and a the nickname Kazunari gives her. [Mira, Mimi]

Kazunari- It’s been said before, but [Mimi]

Kumon- See, this is where it gets different. Kumon would see how Juza and Mira interact, hear Juza call her Mira-nee, and try to adapt it. Yes, Mira has a sibling type relationship with the Hyodo’s. [Mira-san, Onee-san]

Autumn:

Banri- Despite having a sibling type relationship, he usually just calls her by her name. [Mira-san]

Juza- As stated with Kumon, Juza has used Mira-nee. [Director, Mira-san, Mira-nee]

Taichi- After their debut he is on the friendliest of terms with Mira, and calls her as such. [Director, Mira-san, Mira-chan]

Omi- The evolution of their relationship is much like Tsuzuru’s, as they met in class (Both of them are business majors, I didn’t even know he was until recently) so he calls her Tachibana-san for a while, and Director. But they become closer in year 2. [Tachibana-san, Director, Mira-san, Mira]

Sakyo- He calls her Tachibana until her sister starts helping out with the company, which is around the same time as the Autumn Troupe Debut. So he calls her Director Tachibana when Izumi is around, and switches to just Tachibana when she isn’t. Eventually, he will call her a brat, and that’ll be how he addresses her at times (But honestly, he calls everyone that). [Tachibana, Director Tachibana.]

Azami- Of course, he’ll start out not referring to her at all, using phrases like “The other director” or “The louder one” if asked. So when he joins the Autumn Troupe, he starts calling her Director, and later Mira-san, because almost everyone else does. [Director, Mira-san]

Winter:

Tsumugi- Despite Mira not being his director, he still refers to her as Director Tachibana for a while, until he gets the okay to call her by her name. [Director Tachibana, Mira-san, Mira-chan]

Tasuku: He also refers to her as Director Tachibana, until he is able to drop the title. Of course, through their relationship, he eventually uses her name. [Director Tachibana, Tachibana, Mira] (He refers to Izumi as Izumi-san)

Hisoka- Another one who adopted the nickname Kazunari gave her. [Mira-san, Mimi]

Homare- He’s the one who comes up with the Equinox and Solstice director names, so that is how he refers to them for a short while. Specifically for Mira, he will call her Tachibana-kun, and Mira-kun. [Equinox Director, Tachibana-kun, Mira-kun]

Azuma- He quickly adapts the Equinox and Solstice director names, finding them endearing. However, as that fades, he does start referring to her by name. [Equinox Director, Mira-san, Mira-chan]

Guy- He only uses her last name, and refers to Izumi as Izumi-san. [Tachibana]

Bonus? How my Yume character addresses them? (Formality level is important, it shows the progression of relationships- These are grouped up but they’re all used at different times for different reasons.)
