i am on season 4 of This Is Us and Rebecca is losing her memory and it is just so so painful to watch. out of all the possible ailments that could’ve befallen her with old age, it aches to see her memory fade away because that is the ONLY place where Jack has existed for her so long, where she has continued to love him for so long. either way she would have felt bad if he died but in the long run it would have been better for her to have been told he loves her since that is something she always struggle to believe. when you are dieing you are not able to think logically. you are too panicked and thinking what if i never see and talk them again, i need to tell them this before i die. thats why he told kim to tell mack he loves her because he thought he would never see her again. sorry i dont see any signs hes still in love with kim. love yes in love no. everything he has done has been for kim and mack or just mack. he has said or done nothing for just kim. maybe s10 will finally show him saying or doing something for just kim and change my mind you are right about merder being already established relationship. jabecca too. it would have been better if they did that with burzek.

And like i said, that’s fine. We can just agree to disagree.

i know it is probably too much.. my kevison addiction.

so, i was just reading some jack/rebecca stuff and how lately we are seeing them share a lot parallels with kevin/madison lovestory. which is true, i mean case in point - episode 5x09. @thisiskevison​ has a beautiful gifset for the same.

there is a hint to jabecca’s proposal and kevin is already searching for the right ring for madison. so, yes, there is that.

but then there are people who are still holding a candle for kophie, and i’m okay w/ that. to each their own. but, then when they come at kevison with their hate, it’s too hard to ignore.

so, i was just rewatching tiu (hiatus is hard) and i realised something. we keep drawing comparisons between kevin and jack. but, there is a kevin and rebecca comparison we are overlooking.

remember rebecca had a boyfriend too - alan phillips. alan was a big part of her childhood. maybe they were not kids (like kevin and sophie) when they met. but they were almost teens. and, that relationship didn’t work out either. (too many reasons to dive in). it was perfect too in the beginning. but, it took its own failed course. both kevin and rebecca even shared a warm relationship with sophie’s mother and alan’s mom respectively too. both their partners’ mothers also felt that while kevin and rebecca were right partners for their kids, they really had to think these relationships through. they shouldn’t just settle.

there. we have one more reason why we can say kevison is endgame.

writers have been dropping hints for kevison all they way from season 2. remember the vegas trip? its there. let’s not pretend that we are not seeing it.

see kevin will have a love like his parents. maybe not their lovestory, but just a similar deep love.
