Almost there

We had Castiel's "I love you", and we will have Dean's "I Love You Too"

Destiel meta. 15x18 meta. Spoiler. Meta Spec.

Hello friends, are you still alive? I have so much to say my ears are burning and I have the hart in my throat.

I just want scream this with all of you...

Destiel parallels all over foreshadowing the lovers Separation.

Charlie and Stevie.

First of all, let's spot Stevie's wardrobe: YES, PINK (HAPPINESS) Because she was happy to be with Charlie and she meant Charlie's happiness.

Stevie vanished, foreshadowing Castiel's death, and the lovers separation.

We also had Charlie mourning her, dating she didn't want to try this LOVE THING again. But she did. This quote reminded me how Dean called love like the 'L word' for so many years, finally talking about it and naming it by it's name in episode 14x06 with Jack.

'Why her and not me?' Charlie lamenting her lover's death is the same image we got with Dean sobbing and crying in silence, sitting against the wall, with Castiel's handprint in his left shoulder, as a signal of their bond.

Eileen and Sam

Eileen and Sam were another Destiel mirror foreshadowing the lovers separation. Okay, it was dramatically written with all the messages and the screaming via texting, but, it showed us Sam mourning her, but trying to focus on the mission, not letting the hinges despair of loosing her to drag him down.

The big difference with Dean was settled in this reaction, even knowing Sam and Jack were taking care of the AU hunters, SAVING PEOPLE, FAMILY BUSINESS, Dean didn't answer his brother's phone call. He just couldn't, because the intensity of his pain in lopsing Castiel again was too much for him. He couldn't avoid it. He couldn't reject it. It was there. So he started to cry. Because nothing else mattered in that moment he lost Cas again.

I'll go with you

Castiel in his last crusade with Dean, as he always had done since he met the hunter. He went with him to hunt Death. It was a wink to Destiel shippers, because the weight of these quote had always been part of the Destiel's flag.

But there was a foreshadow for the love confession we also had in this same episode:

Billie saying: 'It have always been you' to Dean, putting the focus on our hunter, treating him of Death defy, rule breaker, human disorder incarnate. She also says: DON'T YOU THINK IS ABOUT TIME, DEAN?

When Death calls out Dean with all theses titles, is a implied description of Castiel rebellious angel. And is foreshadowing Castiel's love confession, because for Cas, his happiness has always been Dean.

'Is about time, Dean' and here comes a spec, as you all know, i extensively talked about how Dean will rescue Cas from the Empty, well, i think this quote could be related to it. Because when Dean will enter to the Void to save his angel, IT WILL BE TIME FOR HIM TO CONFESS HIS LOVE BACK TO CAS.

Something that caught my attention too, was Castiel saying 'I got you' to Jack and then to Dean, his two more important persons in his life. He was protecting them from harm. Gosh I want to cry... But not yet because I have to talk about the most important, revealing Destiel scene from all times.

This romantic I LOVE YOU is for you, Dean

First of all, i want to say something DEAN WILL RESCUE CAS FROM THE EMPTY, because he will, and i want you to keep that in mind (Loudly sobbing) so this wasn't the goodbye, okay?

Let's go on...

This love confession was beautiful, and Castiel made it clear he was talking about ROMANTIC LOVE, because the whole prelude in his wordings were perfectly clear. There's not doubt he was confessing his romantic love for Dean. He even mention THE ONLY THING I CAN'T HAVE is the thing that will make him happy.

Is canon he was asking himself what happiness could be!!! It means CAS THOUGHT ABOUT HOW COULD IT BE TO HAVE DEAN NOT JUST AS A FRIEND!!!!

He says too FROM THE MOMENT HE TOOK THAT BURDEN! FR THE MENT HE REACUED DEAN FROM HELL!!!!!! 'It has always been you', Dean!'

You think you don't deserve to be saved or loved, well CAS SAVED YOU, JUST LIKE NOW, AND HE LOVES YOU DEAN!!!

When Castiel says he understood HAPPINESS IS NOT ABOUT TO HAVE THINGS, BUT TO BE, TO FEEL IT, immediately after saying he couldn't have that thing (Dean) is marking to all the audience that knowing HE CAN'T HAVE DEAN, HE IS HAPPY JUST FEELING THAT LOVE FOR HIM. LOVONG HIM AS HE DOES IS WHAT MAKES CAS HAPPY, AND CONFESSING THAT LOVE TO DEAN, RELEASE HIM.

Death called back all the 'bad things' Dean did, which are THE GOOD THINGS CASTIEL MENTIONED ABOUT DEAN.

While naming Dean's sacrifices and protective behavior, and showing him HE DID IT FOR LOVE, Castiel is trying to make Dean to see himself as CAS sees him.

Love yourself, because you are precious, because I LOVE YOU. You are not a monster, you are all this good things I see on you.

He said YOU CHANGED ME! BECAUSE NOW HE IS TALKING RO DEAN, ALL THAT THINGS HE SAID IN THAT BARN WHILE DYING! HE SAID IT TO HIA FAMILY BUT NOW, THESE WORDS ARE FOR DEAN, JUST FOR HIM! DEAN CHANGED CAS AND CAS CHANGED DEAN!

And Castiel cried! I saw him cry, we saw him cry! Tears of love!

My gosh! if this isn't the most romantic dialogue I've ever seen in my life... I don't know what to do!

Okay, now, i have to put my friend's body language analysis:

And OMG!!! Is a confirmation of what is about to come!!! Because Dean is in shock, he can't say the three words back, he just can't, because he doesn't want to lose him again. And that's why he remains against that wall after Cas is gone, because he is suffering for loosing the love of his life, but also because he couldn't say I LOVE YOU BACK TO HIM!!!! HE LOST HIS OPPORTUNITY!! BUT BUT! THE ULTIMATE 'I LOVE YOU' the meaningful, the one that will save Cas, will come soon. DEAN WILL SAID : I LOVE YOU TOO, to his angel, and it will be so important, that will mean Castiel's returning to his hunter. Damn. And we won't need more clown noses, because is gonna be real.

To Conclude:

I don't know what to conclude here more than ,people, we have been blessed, and also, i want my angel back.

I'm sure this is not his end, because there's a hunter there that needs to confess him his feelings and maybe, kiss him.

Chapter Seven: Way Down To Wonderland

Did I know it was a bad idea?

Yes. Yes, I did.

Did I do it anyway?

Yup.

Was I going to regret it?

Yeah, probably.

Did that thought stop me?

Absolutely not.

I was going with Jack. I was going to leave that freezing nothing-in-nowhere place behind me and I was going to be free. With the Winchesters protecting me, I would never have to be afraid of anything ever again.

At least until they found out the truth. But I could keep them fooled for long enough, right? I mean, Jack seemed to like me. I wasn't sure in what way exactly, but he did seem to like me. That was something wasn't it? It had to be.

Me and Jack just sat and talked while Sam and Dean burned the bones and covered the body back up. The only reason I knew the body was there was because I had found this place three years ago, though as to the corpse's identity I had no clue. I was just making crap up.

When the job was finally done it was around midnight and the hunters wanted to go back to their motel. They also wanted me to come with them.

"But where would you sleep?" I argued.

"Oh, I don't sleep that much." Jack simply shrugged. I chewed on my lip, for every excuse I could come up with, Jack had a solution.

"Look Jack, I've spent a long time here and I've got, like, this 'secret hideout' where I always sleep- er, slept, and I just wanna go back there, collect my stuff and say goodbye, ya’ know? I'll meet you outside your motel bright and early tomorrow morning. Alright?" Maybe the slight truth would work where excuses had failed miserably. Jack sighed.

"You promise you'll come?" He asked.

"Cross my heart," I said, doing the motion.

"Good cause' if you don't show, Cas will know where you went," Sam said, his voice was friendly but it sounded like a threat. I guessed he was suspicious. Sam got in the car.

"That is true," Castiel said, following him. Yeah, they were both suspicious of me.

"Oh. Uh, nice." There went all hopes of running away from this. "Well where are you guys staying? Just so I know where to go," I asked.

"It’s called North Sea Motel, or something like that." Jack paused for a moment. "Uh, I think." I smiled with a shake of my head.

"I think you mean North Port Motel," I corrected him. Jack smiled.

"Yeah, that one!"

"Okay, well, I'll see ya there!" I started to dismount from where I sat, perched in a different tree, but Dean's voice stopped me.

"Say, where is this little ' secret hideout' of yours? We could drive you, just tell us where. Then you could get your stuff and come to the motel with us, you might even get a good night's sleep," Dean offered. I turned him down with a shake of my head.

"Nah, you boys get some sleep. Besides, if I told you where it was, it wouldn't be my 'secret hideout' now would it? Also, it’s not exactly accessible by car anyway, but don't worry, it’s not far." That was a lie. It was all the way across town, but I might need to use it to hide from these guys one day so telling them the location wouldn't be smart.

"Alright well, see ya’ tomorrow, kid." Dean climbed into his car and revved the engine, waiting for Jack before driving off.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow!" Jack smiled at me. His smile was sort of strange as his mouth curved up on one side and down on the other at the same time. I liked it.

"See ya’ tomorrow Jack-Jack." I winked at him from where I sat, perched in a different tree. Then in the blink of an eye, Jack was beside me, pulling me in for a hug. I was surprised but hugged him back. I took a deep, breath through my nose.

'Holy zoodles, you smell amazing!' I thought to myself. For a split second the thought entered my mind. For a split second I considered what it might be like.

But that wasn't going to win out.

I pulled away from the hug and Jack smiled his crooked smile and he disappeared, and I waved as the Black Impala drove off. I sighed.

"Whatever you're gonna say, you can go ahead and say it!" I said to the air.

No reply.

No Isaac.

Nothing.

"Ugh! You're so dramatic! If you wanna talk then talk, ya friggn' weirdo!" I shouted to no one.

Isaac still didn't appear. I hopped off my branch and began to sprint through the snowy woods at top speed. Mocking all the way.

"Oh I'm Isaac and I'm so superior to everyone and I'm a stinkin' drama queen who has to be all cryptic about my USELESS OPINIONS!"

I shouted the last bit before climbing the rope into the tree house. I had made it in under five minutes. When I hauled my sorry butt inside the tree house, Isaac stood there, waiting. He had his arms crossed and his shoulders square and his face was a mask of barely controlled rage. I copied his stance and stared back at him. He remained silent. I could only do it for so long.

"What?" I asked, giving in. Apparently that question was all it took for Isaac to explode.

"DO YOU THINK THIS IS A FRIKIN' GAME?!" He shouted. I couldn't help but stumble back a few paces. Isaac never yelled, not at me. Isaac yelled at everyone else, but never, ever, me. I blinked a few times, trying to discourage the tears.

"N-no! I-I-I just-"

"DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH?!"

"NO! But I-"

"REALLY? BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE! BECAUSE THAT'S HOW YOU'RE ACTING! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" Isaac took a menacing step, and it took a lot of will to stand my ground.

"I don't know! I wasn't-"

"THAT'S RIGHT! YOU WERN'T!" I looked away, blinking furiously to dispel my tears. Isaac sucked in a breath, trying to calm himself.

"I was just trying to save our butts! I didn't think they would take it like that and try to adopt me on the spot!"

"Why didn't you just say no?!"

"Because that would have looked suspicious!"

"Then just run! They'll move on without you! They'll keep going with their lives! They don't care about you!" Isaac insisted. His words hurt. Why? Why did they hurt?!

"That's not true! They said they'd search for me!" I tried, but it was a weak response, and I knew it. Isaac laughed, it was bitter and without humor.

"What? Is it that Half-Angel freak?" He snorted. I lowered my head.

"He's not a freak," I mumbled.

"Sorry, could you say that a little louder? I couldn't hear you over all your stupidity!" Isaac sneered. My head snapped up and my teeth and fists clenched.

"Jack. Is. Not. A. Freak!" I growled. Isaac's eyebrows shot up.

"Wait, you don't- No. No, you're not really-" I knew what he was asking, and I simply glared at him.

"What?"

"Do you like him?" Isaac asked, disgust prevalent in his tone. I looked at the floor, grinding my teeth.

"No."

"OH COME ON! REALLY MARTY? YOU GOT A CRUSH ON THAT FREAK-A-ZOID!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" Isaac roared, "HE'S A FRIGGIN' TWO-YEAR-OLD FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" I couldn't take it anymore.

"SHUT UP ISAAC!!!" I screeched, my pitch rising with my anger. I took a deep breath and stared him in his cold, dead eyes. "If Jack is a freak then so am I!"

"No, you are what you are. That kid, if you can even call him that, is trying to be two things at once! He's more powerful then the actual angel! Couldn't you feel it? That thing could probably kill you without even trying!" I rolled my eyes, my fists clenching tighter. I could feel my nails cutting into my hands, but I didn't care.

"Jack wouldn't hurt me. He's not like other hunters, Isaac! He's not doing this out of hate!" I insisted. Isaac's face twisted into a snarl. He walked over and looked down on me.

"And when he finds out that you've been lying? What do you think he'll do then? What do you think they'll all do? Do you think they'll just shower you with hugs?" He questioned, mockingly.

"No."

"They'll never except you. Once they find out the truth, and they will find out, they'll never love you. You know why?"

"Stop." I ground out through clenched teeth.

"Because they are not your family, Marty. They never will be," Isaac hissed.

"I don't need them to be. Besides, I can always talk them into it." Isaac stepped away now and started pacing the floor of our hideout.

"But you won't. You know why? Because it will never be real. That's what you want, isn't it?" He jeered.

"I just want to be safe! I don't wanna run anymore!" I protested, even though he was right. Isaac shook his finger at me.

"No, you want it to be real. You want it so desperately, don't you? That's what this is all about, isn't it? Deep down it's all about Jack, and you know it."

"You don't know what you're talking about, Isaac," I seethed. He turned to me with a quizzical yet mocking expression.

"This little crush you have on the hybrid freak, do you really think you have a chance?" Isaac flicked his finger against my skull. "I know you're all grown up in there, but out here you're still fourteen! And you heard it right out of his mouth, he may be grown up on the outside but he's still only two-years-old! I don't care which side you look at it from, that's pedophilia either way!" I wished I could punch Isaac in the face, much more than I usually did.

"It's not like that! You can't stop me Isaac! This isn't your decision to make!" I shouted at him.

"I'm not letting you go with them. If that means murdering all of them in their beds, then so be it! I'm not going to let them hurt you!" Isaac barked.

"What is wrong with you?! This is my decision! Why do you keep trying to control my life?!" I demanded.

"BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO WATCH MY SISTER DIE!"

I blinked. I couldn't speak. What could I even say? We stood across from each other, the anger draining away into heartbreak.

"I just want a friend, Isaac. Is that really so wrong of me?" I demanded in a whisper. A rain of emotion was beginning to sizzle out the fire of my fury. My spectral companion stopped in his tracks.

"A friend? What am I, chopped-liver?" Isaac asked, sarcastically. Though his tone was mordant, I could sense the hurt that sapped through.

"Isaac, that's not what I meant," I tried to back-track, but it was useless. Isaac's lip curled and his eyes narrowed.

"I've spent five years stuck in the veil, not being able to talk or be seen by anybody but you. All of that just so your sorry ass wouldn't be so friggin' lonely! I put off going to heaven and this is what I get for it?! What? Am I suddenly not good enough for you anymore? Is that it?!" He spat.

"Of course not, Isaac! You're my brother! You're my best friend and you always will be!" My voice came as a stressed whisper as I strived to explain, "It's just that-"

"That what? What makes him better than me? What makes any of them better than me?! What does that Nephilim freak have that I don't, huh?" He challenged, his voice like burning acid. I couldn't take it anymore.

"YOU'RE DEAD, ISAAC!!!" I screamed, tears gushing down my face like salt-water rivers. I couldn't stop them. "YOU'RE DEAD AND IT'S ALL MY FAULT!" Isaac blinked, speechless. "Mom and Dad and Jackie and Bree and Jazz; they're gone! They're all gone and it's all my fault!"

"Marty-"

"No, Isaac! You're gone and I can't have you back, not for real. I can't high-five you when we laugh, I can't punch your shoulder when you're annoying me, and when I'm upset you can't wrap your arm's around me and hold me until the tears run dry! You can't do that, and I don't blame you, but you can't!" I took a deep breath and looked at the rough wooden floorboards as I tried to mop up my tear-stained cheeks, but it didn't work. All the sadness from the last five years was escaping now.

"I don't-" Isaac started but I wasn't finished just yet.

"I need someone who can do that, Isaac. It's been exactly five years, eleven months, and twenty-two days since somebody hugged me! I didn't realize how much I needed it until now, and I don't think I can go on like this any longer! Isaac, I am all alone," I lamented.

"You have me, Marty," He whispered. I hadn't realized that ghosts could get choked up.

"Isaac, you're not really here," I whispered, painfully. "I know you're all I have; but I don't have you, not really. I don't want you to go, but every single day, this figment of you reminds me that you're never coming back," I sniffed, still trying to keep it under control, but the look in Isaac's eyes made that impossible.

"Oh, Marty... I-I'm sorry." I rubbed at my eyes, wishing once again that I could lay my head on his shoulder and just cry like I wanted to, but I couldn't.

"I just want you back!" I sobbed, my ragged breaths scraping at my dry, tender throat. Isaac reached out but his arms passed right through me, just like always. I looked to him in despair before moving to sit on the mattress. "Why did you have to die?" I whispered.

"I don't know."

"Just let me go with them, Isaac. I can't do this anymore."

"If you're going then I'm coming with you. Through thick and thin, remember?"

"Through thick and thin," I agreed. Isaac smiled at me weakly.

"Well, get your stuff together, we're goin' on an adventure," He said. I nodded and strode over to the backpack in the corner. Reaching to the very bottom of the bag, I grabbed hold of the two objects I hated the most.

Two bags filled with a pint each of human blood. The label bore the name: Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital. It was the only hospital anywhere near Copper Harbor, though it was more than twenty miles away. It was a long way to go by foot but now I would never need to go again. I just hoped that wherever these hunters lived there was a hospital nearby. I weighed the bags in my hands and considered the possibility of smuggling them past the hunters. The odds were pretty bad.

"Just wondering, how do you plan to keep this a secret while under the watch of four hunters?" Isaac asked from behind me. I inhaled deeply before turning back to him.

"No idea! But as for right now―" I ripped open a small hole in one of the bags and raised it into the air the way you would raise a toast― "Drink up me hearties, yo ho!"

I think you can figure out what I did after that.

-2 hours and 56 minutes later-

I finished packing all of my belongings into my backpack and a few extra things I stuffed in my violin case. Then, I saluted the now abandoned tree house farewell and tromped off through the snow to say goodbye to the one person in this town that I actually considered a friend.

The bell dinged as I pushed open the door to the pharmacy. I smiled at the shapeshifter behind the counter and waved. Dan-the-Dope-Man, regardless of anyone's opinion about his behavior, was the closest thing to a friend as I had made in these past five years. He may not have been the best person, but I owed him a lot and now this was the only way I could repay him.

"Marty! I thought you died! When I watched you go with those hunters, I didn't know what to do! Are you okay?" There was no one else in the store, so the man with the face of a forty-year-old hopped over the counter and rushed over to me, enveloping me in a hug. In this form, he didn't have his Brooklyn accent.

"I'm fine, Danny but, uh, I gotta tell you something." Dan released me and held me at arm’s length.

"What? What's wrong?" He worried.

"Nothing's wrong," I told him, shaking my head, "But I'm leaving."

"What? Why?" Dan exclaimed.

"Those hunters, they asked me to come with them, they said they're gonna protect me." Dan's brows pulled together and he looked at me with concern.

"Marty, they're hunters. Protecting things like us, vampires and shapeshifters, isn't exactly what they do!”

"They don't know what I am, and I plan to keep it that way. But these guys, they're different. They're gonna protect me, and maybe they'll help me find Felix!" I said, gently.

"That's a dangerous game."

"Let's hope I'm good at it."

"You're really gonna do this?"

"Yeah." Dan sighed.

"Well in that case, I'm gonna miss ya, Marty." He wrapped his arms around me, and I hugged him back.

"I'm gonna miss you too, Danny!" Apparently, my eyes hadn't rid themselves of tears completely. A few salty droplets dripped down my cheeks.

"Take care of yourself, sweetie. Remember, if you ever need a place to go, my door is always open." He said, patting my back.

"Thank you, man. For everything. I owe you a lot." I wiped my cheeks and gasped a breath as I pulled away.

"Eh, don't worry about any o' that. Stay alive, Marty. That's all the payment I want," Dan smiled.

"I can do better than that," I promised, smirking.

"Whattdya' mean?"

"If any hunter ever comes to check this place out again, I'm gonna give you a head's up. Sound good?" Dan grinned.

"Sounds great, Marty." He hugged me again and when he pulled away, he had an idea.

"Before you go, here, take these," He said, grabbing several items from different shelves and stuffing them in a bag which he gave to me. I peeked into the bag, inside were several boxes of chocolate truffles, four Hershey's bars, and one of those little solar powered flowers that waves when you place it in the sun. "It's not much, but it’s something to remember me by."

"I'll savor every chocolate, Dan. I'm gonna miss ya, have an awesome life buddy!" I waved as I pushed my way out the door, "I hope you get your daughter back!"

"Thank you, Marty! Take care of yourself! I hope things get better for you!" Dan waved back and I left the pharmacy behind, muttering to myself as I walked down the street to the motel.

"I hope things get better too."

Dean took Cas' hand and grinned before kissing his knuckles. “It's Sunday. You know what that means?”

Cas smiled at Dean's cheerful display. “Usually it means a nice dinner and our weekly hike with Sam and Jack.”

Grumbling, Dean lowered Cas' hand. “It means funday.”

“Dinner and walking, isn't that fun?” Cas arched an eyebrow at Dean. “I was under the impression you enjoyed the time with Sam and Jack. Nature is one of the things Chuck did right– “

“We don't think about that asshole anymore.”

“Right. So what did you have in mind?”

Dean pointed a finger at Cas. “I was waiting for you to ask that question, Cas.” He grabbed a pamphlet from his back pocket. “Check this out. The museum has an angel exhibition.”

Cas licked his lip. “Oh, you were talking about that kind of funday.”

Wiggling his eyebrows, Dean pulled Cas into a hug. “Yeah, that kind of fun. So, is that a yes?”

“I don't know what to say... we have been frequenting that museum fairly often. While I do understand the allure of openly – “

Dean kissed Cas, a soft, innocent kiss. “Let's get a deeper understanding of the allure, Cas. Besides, it's an angel exhibition.” Dean stilled. “Oh, sorry, Cas. Man, it never crossed my mind. We can do this another time, another exhibition.”

Cas grabbed Dean's hand and kissed him back. “Dean, this has nothing to do with it being an angel exhibition. I made my choice freely and it's not a decision that haunts me.”

Dean nodded. “OK, I just wanted to – you know, I don't want to upset you.”

“You're not.”

Dean smiled. “No?”

“No.”

“Alright, then take me to the art museum and make out with me.”

Cas smiled his gummy smile. “Let's go.”

Dean groaned as he pulled into the parking lot. “An all-nighter. I can't believe you suggested that and that Sammy said yes. Why?”

Cas shrugged. “I think it was fair. Sunday is usually our hike day.”

“Yeah but all night? You know what that means?”

“Campfire and marshmallows. Maybe the moon will be out and we'll see the stars.”

“No, it'll mean mosquitoes and us trying to fall asleep while Sam snores like a bear knocked out with tranquilizers. And he'll insist on bringing weird camp food like dates and zucchini.”

Cas stepped out of the Impala. “I think you're exaggerating.”

Dean closed the door with a bang. “I'm not.”

“It'll be fun. And you and Jack can go fishing.”

Dean patted his pockets. “Fuck, I forgot my wallet. And it's cheating that you're trying to bribe me with fishing.”

Cas pointed at his pocket. “It's here. And is it a bribe? I'd consider it more of a promise.”

Dean laughed. “Let's go check out some angels.”

“Let's.”

Harry Johnson, the security guard at the Esbon museum was sitting in peace, eating a Milkyway when he almost choked on a piece. He blinked, looking at the couple, and sure enough, it was them, Trench coat and Bowlegs. He was not getting enough paid to deal with shit like this.

Sure, he shouldn't assume that they would do it again, but Harry was a practical man. He'd seen them twice before and both times they'd acted like idiots before fucking. One time in the west wing, and on time in the Nature room in what had then been turned into a bee exhibition. And no, it hadn't been explicit fucking, more hands he figured, but what he did remember was the damn jokes.

Who were these middle-aged men anyway, skulking around in museums making out? Didn't they have a Ford Fiesta they could desecrate?

Swallowing the last of his Milkyway, Harry grabbed his flashlight and went after Disaster Duo on Legs.

Dean stared at the angel statue in marble. It was kind of bizarre seeing the angel statue with no head or arms but he couldn't deny the craftsmanship. The tunic she was wearing cling to her body but it was the wings that caught Dean's attention. They arched behind her seemingly in triumph.

“She's beautiful, isn't she?” Cas said.

“Yeah.”

“Can't believe this is stone. Look at the feathers, Cas – “ Dean stopped. “This isn't weird, is it?”

Cas chuckled slightly. “No, I'm fine, Dean. And my wings were more... impressive than this.”

Dean smiled warmly. “Not everyone can be the size of the Chrysler building.”

“No, they can't. But I do appreciate the artistry. Humans always depicted angels as beautiful, even in their wrath, and imagined them in their image. I do find that hopeful. Maybe mankind saw themselves as divine and then never questioned that angels wouldn't look like them. They never once thought that angels would be something less than them. We're – they – were hardly as noble and just as humans hoped them to be."

“Maybe not them, but you weren't so bad, Cas.” Dean elbowed him slightly.

Cas nodded, a small smile on his lips. “You don't know this, but I was known as the hottest angel in my garrison.”

Dean laughed. “I bet you were. You're hot as a human too.” He licked his lips. “So, you gonna make out with me?”

Cas tilted his head, amusement making his eyes shine. “I don't know if I'm allowed.”

Dean furrowed his brows. “Why the hell wouldn't you be allowed to kiss me?”

“You're not allowed to touch the masterpieces.”

Shaking his head, Dean splayed his hand on Cas' chest and pushed gently, forcing him to take several steps back. “You're the masterpiece, Cas.”

“Is that so?”

Dean nodded and pushed him again so Cas' back was against the wall. “Yeah, and someone's gotta nail the artwork to the wall.”

Cas grinned. “Are you that someone?”

Dean kissed Cas' jaw. “I do have a hammer.” He wrapped one arm around Cas' waist and pressed his groin against Cas as he grabbed Cas' hair and whispered, “This pounding requires a steady hand.” He moved his hand and squeezed against Cas' groin.

The sight of Cas closing his eyes, and how he breathed out slowly as not to alert anyone else of what they were up to was hot as hell.

Just then, Cas opened his eyes and bit his lower lip. He flashed Dean a smile as he looked at him through his lashes. A rush of arousal washed over Dean. “C–Cas I think we should maybe – Cas knew very well what he was doing to Dean and damn him but it worked.

“Go? But we just came here. Don't you want to... come before we go?”

Holy hell. They should go to museums more often, Dean thought.

There they were, plastered to each other like clay and straw behind the angel statue. Harry shook his head. At least he managed to get to them prehumping. The darker man, Trench coat dude was thankfully against the wall and not against the statue or any artwork but he did not like how Bowlegs was moving; soon they would be against that painting of the angel trying to teach the old guy to read and that painting was not only borrowed but expensive as hell.

“Hey!”

Trench coat at least had the decency to look sightly ashamed but Bowlegs turned to look at him with murder in his eyes before apparently recognizing Harry as the security guard. He groaned. Fuck his life, both of them could basically be his dad. “This is a museum.”

“We're aware.” Bowlegs said with a gruff voice but if Harry wasn't mistaken there was some humor underneath.

“Is there a problem?” Trench coat said as he took a step to the side.

Harry blinked at Trench coat's appearance. His hair was disheveled and his lips were puffy from kissing. “Uh, the museum is for looking at art, Sirs.”

Bowlegs' gaze flashed to Trench coat before nodding. “Oh, I know.”

Harry cleared his throat. “Yes, so please. Refrain from touching the art,” Harry swallowed – what had his job become – “and, uh – each other.”

Trench coat adjusted his clothing and nodded. “Will do.”

Harry ignored the slight chuckle from Bowlegs.

Bowlegs came up to him, a disarming smile on his face.“Didn't mean to cause any trouble, officer,” he glanced at Harry's name tag and winked, “Johnson. We'll be on our way.”

As Bowlegs and Trench Coat left the room, he could hear them laugh like a couple of teenagers. Harry wiped a hand across his face. Adults these days.

“I can't believe you called him that,” Cas exclaimed as they went to another part of the museum.

“What? It was his name, Cas.”

“It was how you said it. I'm just glad we didn't get kicked out. Can you get banned from a museum?”

Dean took Cas' hand in his. “I dunno. Probably. Wanna try?” Dean winked.

Cas smiled. “I feel rather hungry.”

“Yeah.” Dean motioned with his thumb to the exit. “Wanna get out of here? I spotted a nice restaurant just a few blocks away.”

Cas shook his head. “I'm not hungry, Dean.”

“Oh? But you just said – ”

Cas gaze went down Dean's body.”I'm hungry.”

“Oh.” Dean pulled Cas towards the exit. “You don't have to ask me twice, cowboy. Let's go.”

If I had this dude in front of me right now....

I swear...

With this Tweet, is clear the promo was aimed to keep us expectant about the episode and Deancas drama. Now here is my problem:

If Dean can say whatever he wants “in the heat of the moment” to the people he loves, please let Castiel react as well. The big debate here is not if Castiel deserves this kind of treatment because he has problems in communicating with Dean, and probably make bad decisions without consulting (a behavior that he learned from both Winchesters).

The problem I personally have with the pandering and celebration of a “fight between husbands” is not just because Castiel ends up being the part that gets evidently hurt and DOES NOTHING to defend himself. Acknowledgedly, because HE knows he did wrong, and probably punishes himself way more harshly than Dean’s words.

Now, I don’t think we need this fight, or misunderstanding, just to fulfill the trope, “IF THERE IS CONFLICT IS BECAUSE THEY CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER”.

I believe we reach the point when we don’t need this kind of interaction to corroborate Destiel as canon, because, guess what? this is not the first time such drama is being baiting us shipers. The story gets old and reach levels of angst, that at the end is not rewarded with the resolution of this conflicts, like any good dose of drama/angst is very welcomed if at the end there is a nice and emotional RESOLUTION THAT IS CLEARLY revealed after all he pain.

There are so many open wounds between DEan and Cas right now, so many unspoken I’m sorry, and explanations we will like to see If the ship of our dreams or “THE GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD” is not just another Cheap Soap Opera based on all the tropes Disney invented. In that case we better learn to think about Dean and Cas in the future as “Married with Children” they suppose to love each other, yes?

To finish my initial and very late reaction about this Tweet.

I dare to believe or wish for the follow possibilities:

The promo could be a cleaver editing, so Dean say this as a threat, the phrase was not complete, and can be conditional. Like: If you help Jack, you are death to me. Admittedly it doesn't take the bad taste of Dean inability to control his emotional response while measuring his words, or impact they will have to the people he loves, and this include Sam and other adopted family. But being conditional, even if its a harsh warning, kinda levels with the pain Dean is feeling right now.

We aren't really sure if Mary is dead, even if he doesn’t appears in the cast for that episode,yet. There is a possibility that Jack didn't kill her because of the end of the previous episode, Jack saying Mary? So, it occured to me, and probably there are speculations about it around the Internet. Because Jack seams losing control of himself, he probably send Mary to the Apocalypse word or other realm because he can open a rift with his now full powers, plus Michael grace. In that possibility, I guess the first point can be validated as a threat, because they aren’t sure what Jack did to Mary or where he sent her.

Because some of the images of the promo where the lighting in this weird cabin, and the presence of Rowena. I have this peculiar feeling that they could be already in another AU probably because the way Nick opened the portal to the empty. So, it's probably my desperate attempt to, again “justify” the words from Dean to Cas in the promo. But, what if they are in some kind of dream or enchantment like when the Siren infected Dean so he lashed out against Sam saying all kind of awful things.

Again, this wishful thinking, even if could seam corny and over the top bad writing, (...that I prefer to the current) is my desperate need to find some sense in this cruel and as-usual expectative for tonight's episode. At least with this stupid theory the damage, of those words, wouldn't be imprinted not ever Cas and Dean, only me, or us shipers whom care a lot and over the top affected by this mind games.

Finally, if the PROMO just highlighted yet another “proof of love”, in subtext of course, from Dean to Castiel. My main wish, as I expressed in the beginning and on in my immediate rant after seeing it, is for Castiel to have a reaction. I want for once for him to send back Dean to hell and they can have a “heated discussion”, (remember, THIS IS A GOOD THING according the positive meta police. bless Dabb saint of the shipers that ship Destiel as no one can ship them before….) I want for Castiel to say how much those words hurt, even if he accepts that he do wrong, he should demand for his forgiveness to Dean, and this time not make it so easy to just attribute the hurt to this particular situation, and all is good let's go to another season, o better yet, let this pain hang on for us to be dragged in to the next season.

1) hi! do you have thoughts on Sam referring to Dean's gun as a "she" in 13x08 (which i took to mean that Dean referred to his gun as a "she" before, the way he's the one to refer to the Impala as a she and as "Baby")? it reminded me of how Suzy referred to her gun as "Gus" in 10x19. the ep reminded me of 10x19 in general, like how the Werther's Box also needed very specific blood to be unlocked, how there was missing intel/lies (like how Dean didn't know Sam was actually there for the codex)and

2) how it was about what you’re willing to sacrifice to get what you want (like how Suzy was driven to suicide by the Werther Box spell when Sam opened it). or do you think the gun thing was about something else? (i mean the beauty of it all is how there’s so much in a single ep of this show and how there’s always more than one layer to peel away, so i guess there could be lots of possible meanings). would love to hear your thoughts!

Not sure about the gun specifically - I’m not sure if we’re supposed to pick the dissonance between Sam calling the gun a she and the, um, metaphorical aspect of the scene of Dean jerking off the gun, Sam was also dressed in supposedly heterosexual colors (I say supposedly heterosexual because some very boring hetero people seem to believe they need a pride flag and have suggested a dark pink-white-bright blue flag, do not google heterosexual flag because nasty things appear in google images) and Dean in bisexual colors, but I don’t want to, you know, be that person. Oh wait, I’m that person.

Anyway, I’ve been screeching all along about the parallels between the episode and both episodes featuring Cuthbert Sinclair/Albert Magnus (plus the fact that also Arthur Ketch blatantly reminded me of him, so I have been rolling in glorious Magnus feels for a while, because I am a total sucker for anything involving witchcraft and the good ol’ narrative of hybris-filled men opposed to women witches that has been running along the seasons since the Carver era and has been brought back on the table via the Ketch vs Rowena scenario that hasn’t even started yet…).

The latest episode had more or less subtle references to the entire MoC arc and in particular to the men who manipulated, or tried to manipulate, Dean on that front. Crowley in primis, Cain, Magnus, and, well, if you count both 13x07 and 13x08 you have more or less explicit references to Rowena and Charlie and the Book of the Damned and Nadya’s codex… heck, Dean got the MoC after Kevin’s death (well, more like everything that led to Kevin’s death, i.e. the Gadreel situation, but Kevin’s death was the event that made everything explode in Dean’s face) and bam alternate reality Kevin appears.

It’s basically an inverted MoC narrative, because Dean rejects Barthamus’ seduction (as awesome and for some aspects lovely Dean and Crowley’s relationship has been, “no more Crowleys” is a good rule for Dean to give himself). The spell actually burns, despite Sam’s attempt to save it - the opposite of Sam’s scheme to make Dean believe he’d burned the Book of the Damned until Eldon Styne revealed to Dean that the book was impossible to destroy. Yes, the spell didn’t just burn because the plot required them to be unable to track down Jack yet. Things burning are always significant in the show. The spell was a parallel - by contrast - to the Book of the Damned. Hell, the spell was created because a man wanted to stalk his girlfriend! Male entitlement over women - the opposite of the Book of the Damned being written by a nun having visions of the Darkness, the opposite of the codex written by a female witch. Not a coincidence there were parallels to Paint It Black either, where the nun whose ghost was tied to the painting had turned vengeful because her lover cheated on her, and thus wanted to punish gross men.

The misogynistic spell burns, and the Charlie parallel of the episode, Alice, gets free from the man who kept her enslaved to him. Charlie died over the Book of the Damned and the decrypting of the codex.

Cuthbert Sinclair, the Stynes, the toxic side of Crowley - they burn (in fact, Barthamus symbolized them but also Luther Shrike symbolized certain aspects of Cuthbert Sinclair - who was beheaded too - and Crowley, and Cain too, Cain’s also an important element in this larger picture of men and witchcraft, the MoC was known as the first curse by witches, and blah blah). The woman able to crack the safe (parallel to the safe in 10x19 and metaphorically the content of the safe, the codex Charlie cracked) survives, unlike Suzy and Charlie in s10.

And Asmodeus has been subtly paralleled to Cuthbert Sinclair too (I’m a collector, he says himself, as he’s placed Lucifer and Cas in his ‘zoo’ of useful things). Ketch works for him - no shit Sherlock, they represent the same stuff. And Rowena is going to be back, and Ketch is looking for her…

BUT YOU WERE ASKING ABOUT THE GUN >.

I don’t want to make a stretch but the Star, the ship Gavin was supposed to board, is also briefly referred to with feminine pronouns. Episode with Rowena and Ketch (although not together) blah blah, Shrike’s son died by drowning like Crowley’s son, right, there’s a link there, but the genderization of a gun and a ship is probably not relevant, because it’s pretty common to refer to ships as ‘she’s, so don’t really take this is me saying that’s a connection.

Alright, since we’re at this, let me add a thing.

Season 9-10 Crowley, Cain, Cuthbert Sinclair, Men of Letters, Rowena, the Book of the Damned, Nadya’s codex, Charlie, the Stynes, indirectly Kevin... many elements of the Mark of Cain storyline, right?

There’s one s9 player whose name has not come out yet, right? Abaddon. Smacked right in the narrative involving Cain, the MoC and the First Blade, and even Henry Winchester and the Men of Letters (Cuthbert Sinclair was the mentor of...). All connected but what about direct references/parallels to Abaddon herself? Well, in 9x17, the episode right after Cuthbert Sinclair’s first appearance, the episode in which Dean touches the First Blade for the first time - it is revealed she is creating more demons to increase the number of her ranks. You know who wants to create more of their species to increase the number of their ranks right now? The angels.

I might be nostalgic of season 9 and season 10, but keep an eye on those seasons peeps.

Oh, and Claire is seen holding the Grigori sword in the promo pics for 13x09, and 10x20 was smacked between The Werther Project and the Stynes episodes... just saying.

It was a love story from the very beginning.

The Bad Joke and The Scoobynatural

(13x14/13x15)

Hello there!!! This time I'm gonna talk about one of the most OOC episodes ever and one of our favs episodes Scoobynatural. I put them together bc one was so bad I needed some fresh air. Hehehehe.

Let's start!

So OOC that hurts...

Episode 13x15 "A Most Holly Man" was written by Dabb but also by Robert Singer.

This episode was odd, with easy bad jokes, and OOC. It also had Wincest subtext, and it was very messy.

If you rewatch the entire season, this episode seems to be out of context. If they've wouldn't put the search for the element they needed for the spell, it could have been passed as an episode from another show.

I could write more criticism, but let's just talk about little pieces of dialogue that worked as clues, I'm very sure it were put by Dabb (even if I dislike his writing) more than Singer.

The three elements the gangsters wanted to get were:

Incense: Is used by christian rituals to elevate prayers and gifts from the parishioners to God. This could be speaking of Chuck coming in the next season.

Chalice: The chalice represents sacrifice for christianity. The Holt Blood of Jesus Christ that have his life for humanity. So, is talking about a future huge sacrifice. It could be taken for Dean and his Mal'ak box or Castiel in 15x18.

Skull: it's related to death, and it could be speaking of Mary Winchester death in season 14.

Another little take from this episode was this little piece of dialogue:

MARGARET: Oh, don’t thank me yet. Greenstreet has all the trappings of a gentleman, but… I would advise caution.

Okay subtle, but not that much. The last name is a combination of two words GREEN and STREET, it's obviously related to Dean, and the quote after this 'has all the trappings is a gentleman, but... I would advise caution." It's obviously talking about AUMichael!Dean.

A brief comment about the Wincest subtext... We had Sam flirting with Margaret and Dean showing signs of jealousy, it could be taken as annoyance, but, because is Singer involved, I would say it was intentionally written to be Wincest subtext. And after this we had Dean flirting... Super out of character, with a brunette... With a lame excuse... Unnecessary. But it worked to make this time Sam the jealous one. Connecting the drops, my dears...

Dean has faith again and the distracting rubbing lips...

In this episode we can also rescue another good points as Dean declaring he has faith. Remember at the beginning of the season he was lost and faithless, I ask myself what could happen to make Dean to recover his faith???

Oh yes, Cas is back.

Then the rubbing lips... We had the same gesture from Cas in the previous episode, so, I wrote two entire metas about how Dabb team used the hands to show foreshadow. So I truly thought Dean and Cas would kiss... Hehehehe. It could fit perfectly, but nah.

This episode also talked about how a priest, a righteous, a saint man, was trying to get the most precious thing for his community.

Trying to get back the most important thing he had, willing to make any sacrifice for it, it's the same would lead Dean to say 'yes' to Michael. When Lucifer kidnaps Sam and Jack.

(This could be just nice because family, and because Dean raised Sam, so Sam represents a son and such, but, because is Singer... Wincest again.)

Another piece of dialogue I found is the following...

FATHER LUCCA: (...)And what your brother’s doing, it’s a good thing.

DEAN: Yeah, or a stupid thing.

FATHER LUCCA: Or both. Many times, they can be the same.

This is telling Castiel's name, Because Dean is always asking him not to do stupid things.

Another foreshadow was Father Lucca talking about Lying is wrong, is a sin. This was the preamble to one of the most revealing episode that will bring Chuck back. The episode in which Jack erase the ability of telling lies in the whole world population.

Dean's cave meaning and visual narrative.

Episode 13x16 was full of symbolism, and is one of my fav episodes.

At first, we had Dean fighting against a huge green dinosaur, practically a monster in green. Just like the Squirrel/Godzilla in one t-shirt we'll see in episode 14x04, is representing DEAN, his inner photography of himself. He sees himself as a monster.

Everytime we see SCOOBY-DOO in Supernatural, it's related to Dean's innocence and purity. Those qualities on him will be the key to release him from his emotional prison in season 14.

Visual Narrative in Dean's cave

Let's talk about the Dean's cave. When Dean says to Sam "Be like Elsa, let it be," he's referring here to the most deepest feelings and fears. Elsa released what she had tried to repress her entire life, her powers. And once she accepted what she really was, she was really free.

This will happen to Dean too, the process had just started. Now that he got Cas back, and now that deep inside he had accepted he can't live without the angel, he will slowly be able to embrace his bisexuality, to accept who he really is. The climax of this metamorphosis it's gonna be describer through the whole season 14. It's the birth of Healing!Dean.

Dean's cave represents that. First of all I want you to know that the Dean's cave had been made to watch movies with Castiel. It's subtextually displayed by the location of the two couches and the color of the lights in front of them: RED AND BLUE. Those are Dean and Castiel's places. That place had been built to share time with his angel.

Fred and Daphne were Dean's bisexuality representation.

Mostly than Dean having a crush over the two characters (openly with Daphne and repressed over Fred) both characters were representing Dean's bisexuality (just like Pamela and himself in Rocky's bar and his friend and the waitress in 15x07).

When they had to team up (just like in 14x04) we had Sam and Vilma represented the insight, the intelligence. (Just like Sam and Sam). Castiel pairing up with Yaggy and Scooby, the innocence and the talking dog, the most precious thing for Dean. (Remember Dean would take a bullet for that dog, that's why Cas was compared several times in season 12 with a dog, and that's why Dean follows him anywhere to keep him safe after suffering his lost).

Finally, the bisexual team Dean with Fred and Daphne. In one opportunity Dean asks Daphne what does she sees in a man. Without mentioning she loves ascots, what this symbolically represents is Dean asking to his female side what she really likes to see in man. And we have Fred related to blue color, as a switch mirror with Castiel. Also because Daphne describes the perfect man as STRONG AND HONEST. Which are characteristics related to Castiel.

Castiel's entrance a la 4x01 and the dinosaur in love

Castiel enters in the mansion the same way he did in 4x01, stormy, mysteriously, and bright.

Immediately after his entrance, we had this weird dialogue...

DEAN: It's a book we're writing. Yeah, about...killer stuffed dinosaurs. It's called...

CASTIEL: "The Killer Stuffed Dinosaur in Love."

FRED: Huh. Great title.

SCOOBY: Yeah. Great title.

"It's a book we are writing " this is very meaningful Because, the book they're writing despite the one Chuck is writing, is Team Free Will, but... We are talking about DESTIEL. Dean and Cas are writing their own story... Why? Because when they mention the title of that book is... The KILLER (Do you remember REGARDING DEAN? another brief appearence of Scooby Doo and Dean's innocence? In which Rowena told him he was a killer? So yes, Dean sees himself as a killer, that's why the image of a monster, a green DINOSAUR, and huge Godzilla Squirrel... But this KILLER GREEN DINOSAUR has a very important characteristic HE IS IN LOVE. DEAN IS IN LOVE, as he confessed in 14x12.

Do I have to explain how writers connect d Castiel's first entrance in 4x01 with this book they're writing as they go? The book is named DESTIEL.

Jealous!Castiel and the little scared ghost boy

I loved the scene in which Daphne freshly confesses Dean grabbed the ghost by the thigh and immediately Cas shows his jealousy over that.

But There's another almost at the end of the episode in which Dean mentions his affair with the Cartwright Twins and Cas asks about that, and Dean's face is priceless. Because if CAS would just represent a friend to him, he were absolutely explaining to him what happened with those twins, but he didn't. Why? Because Castiel is not just a friend. Castiel is Dean's love interest. So... Better not to talk about it.

But let's jump over the symbolism of the trapped child ghost.

BOY: I'm not. I never wanted to hurt anyone. But the bad man, he makes me.

CASTIEL: The bad man?

BOY: His name is Jay.

I want to point here we are inside of Dean's head as you've noticed so far, so... Velma is Dean's intelligence and reason, and is linked with Sam (just like in episode 14x04 in which we had the scooby-doo box opening the locked door). Yaggy and Scooby are the innocence and love, part of Dean and linked to Castiel. And Daphne and Fred are Dean's bisexuality. But There's another huge character inside of him THE MONSTER. The monster, the one he has to defeat, is represented by JOHN WINCHESTER'S TOXIC HERITAGE AND AUMICHAEL, they're part of his toxicity, his rage, his violence. The little ghost here is all the good inside of Dean, his childhood, his innocence, but the bad man who obligates him to kill, it's his inner monster. So this is a war between TOXIC!DEAN and HEALING!DEAN as we will see in season 14.

BOY: When I died, my soul was tied to a pocketknife. My dad gave it to me. It meant everything. When Jay found me, he used me to...Sometimes, I get so angry I break things, hurt people.

John Winchester's toxic heritage implies the GUILT. So, Dean's soul is tied to that GUILT. Jay represents AUMichael here, when AUMichael finds this tool, the guilt, he uses it against Dean to control him. The boy says he gets angry, he breaks things and hurts people. He's describing perfectly Dean's toxicity. His violence. We will see it in this season but also, at the end of season 14.

To Conclude:

In episode 13x15 we had a very OOC bad episode, but with a few clues for foreshadows.

Episode 13x16 was a travel through Dean's innocence, inner thoughts and repressed feelings. It's a preamble to Healing!Dean season and how Dean will be able to break free from his emotional prison, defeating his inner monster.

It was a love story from the very beginning.

The Destiel Reunion after the Possession

(14x03)

Hi there! Another volume from season 14, this time this meta will be Dean centric because season 14 was plenty Dean centric. And episode 3 showed us the demage Michael left on Dean. It also talked about the Destiel reunion after the Possession.

As I said in my previous volume, season 14 is the one I started writing meta, so this will be a resume of it and some new addition in retrospective.

The after Possession damage

I remember when I saw Dean in this episode 'The Scar's it was as if I was looking a semiology book of Psychiatry.

First of all because Dean was acting erratic, anxious, always in alert.

"I've never seen Dean in so bad shape. The anxiety was evidently exposed, and the partial lost of memories and the flahsbacks (...) he's weak, as Kaia noticed, mentally weak... "

I wrote this in one of my metas, and as I said in the previous volume, we will have here another reading of Dean's thoughts. This time by Kaia.

(Remember this is the episode in which Dean asks willingly to Castiel to get inside his head. Subtextually, to Dean, Castiel is the only one he allows to go deep inside his thoughts. It's based in trust and love.)

But let's check AU!Kaia and Dean dialogue:

Kaia: You’re no different from him. Threats, violence anything to get what you want.

Dean: I am nothing like him.

Kaia is reading Dean's fears here. Treating him like an angry killer. All his toxicity is exposed at Kaia's reading.

Kaia: Yeah you are: you always have been!

(...)

Sam: Wait a second: you’re a dreamwalker, too? Your powers, they connected you.

Kaia: Our whole lives, what she saw, I saw. I know where it comes from your anger, your impatience: it's fear. You’re scared and you’re weak

The fact that this while scene was linked to the scene in which Jack and CAS discovered how to save a young girl from a spell. Graphically releasing her by breaking an amulet, is foreshadowing Dean self release from his second Possession. Kaia saying 'what she saw I saw' is practically giving a clue about Michael spying them through Dean's eyes.

So anxiety and depression cohabitate in Dean after Possession.

"Did you see how Dean was like running all the time? He didn't listen to Sam or Jody, he needed to do things quickly. Running here, there, it doesn't matter, bc he was running from himself, and to find and kill Michael was just an excuse."

That was the image of Dean I got from this episode. Then, this dialogue in the car whit Sam in which he describes how it was to be possesed.

He mentions "drowning" that was his desperate battle to conquer his own thoughts and own body. We'll have a lot of recallings to this word throughout the season 14, a lot of monsters representing AU!Michael and his own toxicity trying to drowning him.

Purity and Purge

Before jumping into my idea of what it meant that cold reunion (cold because it didn't have a hug) I wanna talk a little more about how Michael brought the Purgatory into season 14 as a prelude to episode 15x09, but mostly, as a symbolic representation of what being posseses meant to Dean too.

"I was expecting Michael to be the new Purgatory exposure in this season, an opportunity for Dean to bring back the purity from his heart, as he did in Purgatory, the place where he realized he was in love of his best friend.. (sighing)."

This definitely happened and had his conclusion in season 15 with 15x09.

But, the purity of the heart Dean will expose throughout this season wasn't the purity Michael wanted to bring to Earth.

"We could confuse purity with basic Instincts when we talk about monsters. Bc basic Instincts are pure, indeed, there's no contamination in what the monsters wants: hunt, eat, survive. Like animals."

This is directly related to the idea of PURGE Michael wanted for the world. And it also was showed in Dean's behavior in the woods when he was searching for Michael. Basics instincts an animal would use to find his prey. Dean was in basic hunter mode.

The Destiel Reunion

The Destieo reunion had a bittersweet taste.

First of all, when Castiel arrived to the scene, a dramatic music started to play. This is usually used to point out at a romantic couple playing the scene. And because it was specifically played when Castiel arrived and Dean and him exchanged weird looks, it's obvious it was there to show the audience HELLO, THIS IS A REUNION OF LOVERS.

Until now, everything was sweet, Dean is really happy to see Castiel. He looks as if he was breathing for the first time. His face is showing relief and his heart eyesbfor the angel are out of control. 'There you are. The love of my life.'

And Cas, well, remember when I said he was more emotional?

He smiles at him. Like... Very happy but then... Dean's face turned into... Recrimination.

Cas: I’m sorry. I wanted to be there, but we feared that Michael would sense my presence.

Dean: Sam told me. Ain’t no thing.

Dean is mad at Cas, because Castiel didn't go to rescue him. Even knowing it could be bad for the plan, deep inside , Dean wanted to see CAS in that barn. That's why their looks. Castiel csn see this perfectly. He even explains this to him. I didn't want to see this but then in episode 14x04 (the next meta) I will explain why Dean was feeling sad, one of the causes was he was feeling Castiel didn't pay attention to him. The 'jealousy' starts to burn (yes, Dean was kind of jealouse of Jack because Castiel spends now more time with him) and this will end up with their break up at the end of the season when Jack will be the one killing Mary accidentally.

Dean being mad with Cas could be the cause of why we didn't have a hug. But also, because Dean felt dirty and ashamed, his mind had been ripped by Michael. Maybe he felt too dirt to go Cas a hug.

Now... Let's jump to the sexual innuendo scene...

There's a huge parallel between this episode and 4x01 in which Dean realized he had a hand print on his left shoulder. Here, Dean noticed the scar in his right shoulder and uncovered in the same way he did in 4x01. I called this Michael's mark vs Destiel mark. And is a blatant representation of why Michael couldn't possesed Dean's vessel completely. And mostly because the scar looked like two phalanxes. As if it was trying to complete a handprint. But he couldn't, because Dean is already taken by Castiel. If this is not romantic trope, I don't know how to call it.

And now... Dean asking Castiel to get inside his head, as an act of trust, marking a foreshadow for 14x10, when Castiel and Sam will enter in his mind.

Dean: Cas, c’mon hit me.

But this will end up being a scene with sexual innuendo, mostly because Misha and Jensen acting choices...

Dean's face if one of whom just had the orgasm of his life. His face after realize the sensation that that intrusion by Castiel had made him feel is showing he is aware they just had had an experience. It was OBVIOUSLY very exciting. He even tries to compose himself a little, feeling ashamed, but collecting his hands together towards his own chest. His left eyelid drops a little, just after experienced a very amount of... well... Sensations. It looks as if Dean ejaculated after having great sex with his angel.

This was fanservice, thank you Lord Berens.

To Conclude:

This episode showed us a very bittersweet Destieo reunion. I infer it was because Dean was mad at CAS for not being in the barn to rescue him.

It also had a Destiel sex scene, their first time... 🤣

But it spoke too about the amount of psychiatric damage AUMichsel left on Dean.

TFW: Keep Fighting for the Second Chance

TFW meta. Meta spec. 15x18 meta

Hello again, gah, i can't stop shaking but, i will try to focus on this...

Okay, if you want to read my Destiel meta, i know you do, is in this link.

Now, let's start this...

Billie had a plan B, but TFW will have their second chance

When the first plan didn't work, because the Winchesters decided not to do it, Billie sent "the bomb" to the Empty, because the Empty was one altering the order too, another cosmic creature that could ruin her plans again. She was willing to do whatever was needed to keep things in order, and everyone in their places, where they belong.

But this is again, THE SECOND CHANCE, TFW will have to defeat Chuck, as I repeated in previous analysis and also, will be Dean the one maybe resetting things to defeat the chaotic god, helped by Jack. Why? Because Death said it : YOU ARE STILL USEFUL. After reading the new ending of Chuck, which, Sam couldn't read. Damn.

We regroup

Sam showed again that he is the leader here. The one with the head focused, the one trying to find another way, always researching. So I'm sure he will be the one searching for the second chance against God.

The chat between brothers in which Dean recognized he couldn't stop, when he was with his gun against Sam, was a sign of Chuck's script, but is like using Dean's own desperation and anger against him, a powerful way to make him follow the script.

I feel strange

So beautiful when I saw Castiel talking with his kid. Jack is feeling strange because EVERYTHING IS OVER, THE PLAN, HIS DESTINY. Which I really believe is not truth.

But Castiel comforts his child, 'We care about you because you are you, not because you are useful.' And again, this is like something that thrilled me, why? Because it felt like another foreshadow. Yes. Because I feel these are the words about to come at the end, i really hope Sam and Dean say these words to Cas too.

And why Jack killed a plant without with his touch? It was a parallel to Amara in episode 11x23, remember? She killed flowers. Why is this important to say?

Because Jack has the same powers Amara has. Remember Chuck saying I can't make it without you to his sister? Because she is the only one who can reset the world? Well, hello, Jack can do that too!

So now that everyone is gone, is Jack the one who can save them all, helped by Dean who will press the reset button.

Gas-n-Sip, where angels became humans

Another cute scene was Sam giving something useful to do to his child. Because he can read all over the Nougat Boy's face that sadness and fear. So, let's make this kid drive the car.

As a symbolism of what I think will be the ending, let's Jack to guide us through a new world, to be the new driver. To fulfill his destiny once for all.

And because you only get the Empty if you summon him...

Another clue to my spec about Dean rescuing Cas from the Empty, because we have that spell Nick used to open a gate to the Empty and drag Lucifer out of it. Yes yes, the Destiel dark mirror, was a guide to our future 13x20, when Dean will summon the Empty and rescue his angel.

But also, Death is dead? Whoa, that was unexpected, but, let's see how TFW kill every cosmic evil creature. Heheheh. You are next, Chuck and the Empty!

To Conclude:

I know we are only yelling DESTIEL DESTIEL DESTIEL AND I WANT MY CAS BACK, but there was a little things to talk about now.

The spoilers from next episode shows us an Apocalyptic world, just Sam, Dean and Jack standin, and one dog, but, is the image of devastation , is Chuck's script.

They're gonna have a second chance, as I predicted, and this time the reset of the world ofr a situation will play a pivotal role in the next episode.

And then Dean will rescue Cas in 15x20, but this is not the Destiel meta hahahaah.

It was a love story from the very beginning.

And You Are Not Here... (Part. III)

Hello my friends! This is another meta from season 13. We are still mourning with Dean...

I'm gonna focus in just one episode, because I have a lot of things to say about this one. Obviously, the majority of the things have been already analyzed by the meta community.

But, let's see what we find...

Move on

Remember how the last episode ended, with Dean blowing out his feelings and pain to his brother, so, this episode starts with Sam trying to talk with his brother about that. And by that I mean: Cas.

SAM: Hey. How you feelin’?

[DEAN is working on his laptop. He looks up at SAM, but doesn’t reply.]

Sam understands now that fact he had always suspect, what really means to Dean losing Castiel. But Dean sees it coming and doesn't answer, because he knows he let his pain and mourn talking by themselves, and now he wants to come back to hide behind his walls. But Sam won't let that goes so easy. Another heated discussion about Jack brings the topic back.

SAM: Dean, we can’t hide him forever. And, you know, just keeping him cooped up here isn’t working.

DEAN: Yeah, it is, actually. You wanna know why? Because as long as he’s here, he’s not out there doing God knows what. So what, does this mean that your plan for bringing Mom back isn’t working? ‘Cause I’ll say it again—Mom’s dead, Sam. Lucifer ripped out her freakin’ heart. Now, the sooner you can wrap your head around that, the sooner we can all move on.

Look at this, Sam takes Dean's words and immediately repeats the ask but with another different meaning, aeaning his brother gets immediately. Sam tilts his head, and his eyes are searching for the answer in Dean's face, because he knows he won't have the answer in words from him.

These exchange of gazes is so so important, because Dean is saying "Are you really asking me if I can move on... From CAS?" Because is obvious Sam was implying that, for Dean, losing Cas was more painful and unbearable than losing Mary. "You want to move on, from mom?"

The pause, the coma, is pointing Sam is referring Castiel, not mom. Is not mom the one you want to move on, right?

Dean's silence is priceless, both men talks without talking, and both know what they're talking about. Of course Dean can't move on from Castiel. And Sam knows it. Because he experienced the same with Jess.

And Dean changing the subject after that is saying HE WON'T TALK ABOUT IT.

Lies and Toxicity

We have a beautiful scene between Jack and Sam, in which Jack snaps all the bad things he heard last night. But Sam explains to him, they need his help to bring Mary back, and Jack can connect again with S through the pain of losing their moms. And he gives the kid a tip to conquer Dean's sympathy.

SAM: (...) Listen, if there’s one thing that Dean respects, it’s effort. So come along. Help us out. Let’s go be the good guys.

So we'll see the kid really giving everything in this mission.

Another quote that caught my attention was Jack saying this:

JACK: I thought lying was wrong.

Just came to my mind episode 14x19, when Jack is sick of so much lies and turn the world into 'just truth's real madness!

And another foreshadow in the same episode we will have Cas coming back, they're talking about this ...

DEAN: (...) why’d she come back from the dead and knife his ass?

JACK: People come back?

SAM: When a person dies and their soul can’t move on…

Talking about this in this specific episode has a meaning: the wife, the woman that man loved coming back from the death, is a reflection of Castiel coming back at the end of this episode. Souls that can't move on, is talking about Dean and Castiel's decease.

Another thing that is pointed in this episode is Sam seeing the bad things of John Winchester in his brother.

Castiel in the Empty

As the preamble to Castiel in the Empty, we had this dialogue here...

JACK: My mother… could she be a ghost?

SAM: No, we, um… we burned the body.

DEAN: That’s right, and what gets burned… stays dead.

Dean is saying this to himself because they burnt Cas' body too, but this scene is cut and we jump into the next one: Castiel walking around the Empty.

Then, again, Dean goes with this quote here...

DEAN: So, aside from getting dead, what do Gloria and Wes have in common?

And the scene cuts to Castiel again, emphasis in loved people that was dead, and now comes back from it.

Another interesting scene is Dean finding Gloria's diary of mourning.

SAM: More of the same. Um, he really was into the whole catharsis thing.

DEAN: Yeah, sure. Who wouldn’t be? I mean, it’s like another word for “happy ending”.

Dean shows here he knows exactly what that is, and how you can feel when you lose the love of your life. The "happy ending" is a reference of a suicidal thoughts as another way out from the pain. And as we will see in the next episode, was a way out Dean was considering for himself. Also, the journal was made by John after Mary died, and was made by this widow, after his wife died. Is important because in the interview with MIA (the ship shifter therapist) she will ask Dean if he has a diary.

Sam talks about catharsis, as an important way to process the pain, and he really tried to make his brother to do that at the beginning of the episode. Failing.

MIA: Mm. Most of the people I see are in the same boat. No warning, no goodbye, no closure.

These words play an important role for Sam, Jack and Dean, in loosing their mothers and loosing Castiel.

They exchanged heated words again in front of Mia, Sam accusing Dean because he is not carrying well with the deaths, and we'll have again an indirect question, with second meaning. Sam will be talking about Castiel again. But then, and just like Dean did at the end of the previous episode, Sam will have his blow out about losing Mary. Is a blatant comparison between Romantic Love (CAS/Dean) and Family Love (Sam/Mary).

Sam leaves, and Mia points at Dean. Dean drinks from his flask. He was doing that and eating a lot, as he always does when he loses Cas.

MIA: (...) You’re angry, Dean.

DEAN: And?

MIA: And if you don’t want to do anything about it, that’s your business. But you’re aiming it at everyone in your life.

Dean will take these words and do something about it, at the end of the episode. But, I want to talk a little about visual Narrative here, because while Mia was talking with Dean, there was a picture behind her, with BLUE/GREEN AND RED COLORS (Destiel).

The scene between CAS talking with the empty that had taken his shape is intertwined with the shape shifter that took Dean's shape. This is very meaningful bc both creatures decided to take the protagonists of this love story shapes.

So, the Empty explains where Castiel is, and also, is baffled by the angel that woke him up. Is the first time someone wakes up in the Empty, and the entity is really mad at it.

But Castiel doesn't know why he woke up, so, he went with the first idea: Maybe the Winchesters did some deal or spell. But they didn't.

The Empty represents all the darkness inside of Castiel: his doubts, his depression, his fears, his weakness. So, the only way to keep him there SLEEPING (as the image of depression) is to point at the lack of faith in coming back, or in feeling himself loved or needed.

The following dialogue shows us how smart is our angel.

CASTIEL: Having me awake causes you pain.

COSMIC ENTITY: If you can’t sleep, I can’t sleep. Yeah? And I like sleep. I need sleep.

CASTIEL: Then get rid of me.

COSMIC ENTITY: Oh, should I, should I?

CASTIEL: Send me back to Earth.

Castiel immediately detect the point of it, and tries to give a resolution for both of them.

COSMIC ENTITY: Or I throw you so deep into the Empty that you can’t bother me anymore, hmm?

CASTIEL: Except you know that won’t work, or you would’ve done it already.

COSMIC ENTITY: Pretty smart. Pretty smart, dummy.

CASTIEL: Send… Me… Back.

The first conclusion CAS arrives is by his side. The only way the Empty can get some peace is sending him back to Earth. What Cas doesn't know is, the empty won't come back to sleep, ever again after this.

COSMIC ENTITY: That’s not part of the deal. No, no. Besides, you don’t want to go back.

CASTIEL: Yes, I do. Sam and Dean need me.

COSMIC ENTITY: Oh, save it.

When the Empty says SAVE IT, is because he knows the excuse is making CAS to come back, is not the real one he has in his heart. Oh, save it is not because of that, is because ONE MAN NAMED DEAN WINCHESTER.

Because immediately after this, the Empty mocks him about it...

Look at Castiel's face when the Empty refers to his feelings as TULIPS, because the tulips represents the perfect lover, passion and romanticism. The tulip is a symbol of sincere love. It is an incredibly romantic flower that when giving it you express infatuation, passion, unconditional love, pure love.

So, the Empty is saying here: save it, you are in love, you want to come back because you are in love.

To the Empty, is very disgusting, aberrant, and it annoys him. He qualifies it as "little feelings"

Because he's trying to erase the hopes in Castiel. So, he shows him he knows everything about him, and if he didn't understand at first with the tulips reference, he makes it clear now I KNOW WHO YOU LOVE.

And seeding again the depression, because he needs CAS sleeping or defeated, he continues...

Unrequited Love. The Empty exposes right in front of Cas' eyes the fear of being unrequited. With this, he is trying to show him WHY WOULD YOU COME BACK IF DEAN DOESN'T LOVE YOU BACK? He needs to cut any hopes in the angel.

And after this, he shows CAS l his mistakes, and fears, and regrets, and guilts. All the bad things, all his darkness, to put him back to sleep.

But then, Castiel gets it, he is already saved. And with more energy and hopes inside his heart, he faces the empty again:

CASTIEL You can prance and you can preen and you can scream and yell and remind me of my failings but somehow, I’m awake. And I will stay awake and I will keep you awake until we both go insane. I will fight you. Fight you and fight you for…ever. For eternity.

COSMIC ENTITY No. No.

CASTIEL Release me. Release… me.

Symbolism again! Castiel asking his own darkness and depression, and regrets to release him in that moment, he release himself from all of that and he returns stronger than never.

Lack of Faith

Back to Dean, Jack and Sam with the shape-shifters we can see another interesting visual element, next to Dean: Sunflower.

The sunflower is the symbol of the Sun and symbolizes love and admiration. But also happiness, vitality, positivity and energy. ... For some religions it is a symbol of the one who permanently seeks God, the divine, since the star king symbolizes God.

This could be linked to what Dean means to Cas, but I think is mostly what Cas means to Dean.

But jumping into the dialogues and the symbolism and parallel of having two Deans as we had two Cas, there's a little clue for a foreshadow...

Look at this, the scene is pretty blatant, we have Buddy, Mia's ex, obssesed with her, jealouse of her life, intertwined with the dialogue between Dean and Jack, showing how important Jack is.

So, Buddy is the Empty, Mia is Castiel. And the most important thing in there, is Jack... These are the ingredients and this is the dialogue...

BUDDY: I never stopped looking for you.

JACK: I can’t.

BUDDY: And when I found this place, when I saw all that…

DEAN: Yes, you can.

BUDDY: …warm, fuzzy good you were doing. I couldn’t let you have that.

Buddy is the Empty saying to Mia, CAS, that he will search for him in a future, and he will see his happiness, one of the most important persons to CAS is JACK, that's why the dialogues are mixed here.

DEAN: Sammy believes in you, and when he believes, he’ll go Hell for leather…

BUDDY:

So I took it all away, and it was fun.

DEAN …but you gotta try.

Again, the Empty mirror talking about taking all away from Mia, Castiel's mirror, and we have Dean talking to Jack. This is the foreshadow of 14x08, when the Empty will come for Jack in Heaven.

MIA You’re… you’re a…

BUDDY: What? A monster? Well, so are you. And it’s about time you embraced that. So I’m not gonna kill those boys. You are. You end them, or you die, courtesy of Tweedledee’s silver bullets. So what’s it gonna be, princess?

MIA: Shoot me. Shoot me!

And now we have Castiel's mirror giving her life in exchange for Dean and Jack. Just like CAS will do with his deal with the Empty in 14x08 and his ultimate Sacrifice in 15x18.

Now, the last scene. Sam is ready to move on from having faith but Dean will take the advice that Mia gave him. But in this attempt of stopping Sam from being like him, he will show again one of his deepest feelings...

Dean had lost faith, hopes, because he lost Castiel. And Castiel represented all of that to him.

Sam is worried, and Dean just realized he said it. He had just showed his brother part of his depressive thoughts. And the sadness in his face is all over.

Miscellaneous: The address in Mia's office door was 219, this is a very interesting visual element, is a reference to episode 2x19, "Folsom Prison Blues", in which Sam and Dean were two prisoners, trying to show their innocence. Finally breaking free. As a foreshadow of the emotional prison we will see in Dean's possesion in episode 14x09.

To Conclude:

This episode is full of symbolism and is centered on Castiel and his storyline with the Empty.

The episode shows us too the pain carried by Dean, Jack and Sam in loosing the people they love and how each one of them walks through it in different ways.

It was a love story from the very beginning.

How to use my words.

Hello my friends! Another meta from delicious season 12. This time we are gonna talk about how difficult for Dean to use his own words when is about his mother AND his angel.

The positive thing here is, he was able at the end of this season, to express through words what he felt about his mother in front of her, so this gives us hopes.

So let's start!

Don't Make Things Needlessly Complicated

Before talking about the Destiel call, let's focus a little on Sam and Toni Belleville.

This lady broke Sam's mind to get info, and this was a violation of Sam's thoughts against his will. Is a drastic example of what will happen with AUMichael possessing Dean.

Now... Is time to evaluate what Cas thinks about the way humans try to communicate feelings. Mostly, about how Dean tries to do that.

As I said before, Dean can speak about his true feelings with Sam, or Jody, or any friend... But communication with you dead/now alive mother is hard, and imagine talking with your crush!

DEAN: Cass, hey. So, here's the thing. It's been kind of weird here with, you know, Mom being back. It's like we don't know how to act around each other, so we just kind of make this small talk and act normal, but it's – it's so not normal.

Okay, this is what I was talking about, talk with mom is difficult for Dean, but I want to point out a foreshadow here. Who will come back from the death too in season 13? And who will act as if that was normal? Making small talks not touching or talking about the big elephant in the room? Yes... Dean.

CASTIEL: Um, I'm – I'm not sure. What – what has she said to you?

DEAN: Well, nothing. That – that – that's the whole point.

CASTIEL: Okay, what have you said to her?

DEAN: Well, nothing. I'm – I don't know what to say to her, you know? It – it's – it's like it's all just too much, and...I don't want to overwhelm her.

This, my friends, is the center of it all. When will the talk come? Mary is a Dean mirror. So she will act just as him. NOT TOUCHING THE BIG ISSUE. NOT TALKING ABOUT THE ELEPHANT. She had been dead, and she's dealing with a big mourn: she lost the family she knew. It was a lie, and she needs to move on. But, she's pushing all those feelings down. Dean will do the same when Cas will come back from death, as if nothing had happened, after a huge, huge mourn. He won't talk about it. And he will push those feelings down, as he always does.

CASTIEL: Don't make things needlessly complicated, as you humans tend to do. I'll call you.

Castiel always speaks directly from his heart. He is honest. So he can barely understand this behavior, when he says humans, he wants to say YOU. Dean makes things needlessly complicated when he wants to use his words now with Mary, and later, with Cas... Misscomunication at our door.

Are we discussing the same thing?

This innocent and comical dialogue came after...

DEAN: Did you have a look inside?

CASTIEL: No No, it's – it's powerfully warded.

DEAN: Powerfully warded? Okay, see, buddy, that – that was your headline right there.

CASTIEL SHAKES HIS HEAD AND LOOKS DOWN.

CASTIEL: Are we still discussing the same thing?

This is priceless, and is a hint of the mixtape. Our clueless cute angel didn't understand Dean's chosen word headline in their dialogue. So Cas has a sign in front of his eyes to decipher that's the place where Sam is kept hidden. So, Dean is trying to show Cas that a place powerfully warded should be a big sign for Cas. Just like the mixtape he will give him after Castiel's love confession. Dean will trying to show him through a symbol (the mixtape) his true feeling for him, that's your headline Cas. But Cas is clueless.

I want to talk about a few things here... Mostly one of the most married dialogues... When Dean appears with Mary and Cas says... You brought your mother? And then he had to rescued Dean and stay with her. It was just perfect!

The fact that in this season more than one character will call Castiel the Winchester's dog is so disrespectful but is also a foreshadow of Scoobynatural.

The difference between Dean and Sam when they have to use their words towards Mary. Sam did a good job, but he says Mary filled an empty place he had in his heart when she came back from Death. This is so cute, because he never met her, so having her there is a blessing.

In Dean's point of view, he has to mourn the childhood image of his mother, and learn to love and accept the woman she is.

But this is a reflection of what we will see in episode 13x06 when Cas will come back from death.

I don't belong here

So Mary feeling out of the poll is like Cas feeling out of place too.

The dialogue they had in episode 12x03 the bunker opens eyes to the audience into a thought they were suspecting. Cas still feels he doesn't belong.

Mary: After you left heaven, when did it start to feel like...like you fit, like you...belonged here?

Castiel: Well, I'm still not sure I do.

Don't worry, he will feel he belongs here when Jack enters in action.

This entire episode is a foreshadow of brainwashed Mary from the end of season 12, but visually, it presents a couple of interesting Destiel symbolism.

The handprints and the frozen hearts, could be related to Castiel's death too, and the way Dean will feel about it.

Let's refer quickly about the polemic "I LOVE YOU. I LOVE BOTH OF YOU." Quote.

This had been analyzed plenty for the meta community, so I won't say nothing new, but, the physical element I very important. Because we had Mary, blatantly giving Dean her back and staring straight to Sammy's eyes, so the audience can see that I love you was for Sam, and the second one, when she turns around to see Dean, she says I LOVE BOTH OF YOU, that one is for the two of them. Simply. As a message sent to us, because something huge will come in episode 12x12 when Cas almost dies. You know what I'm saying here.

I want to point out here how cute looked Cas trying to imitate the Winchester. Even brushing his hair to look good, because he knows is important for humans... But also how he will fell he failed at this when Sam and Dean disappear when they were captured by the secret service.

To Conclude:

Both episodes acted like a review of foreshadows of what will come in season 12 and 13.

The entrance of Mary is important because she will act as a reflection of Castiel, a Dean's mirror, and she will give Dean the opportunity of grow up, mourning that childish image he has of the perfect Mary Winchester, and try to understand and accept her as she is, while learning how to use his own words with her.
