Adeline Kane - Former soldier in the army, and later mercenary. Mother of Grant and Joseph (Joey) Wilson, and Slade's former wife. Remarried once afterwards and currently a socialite with many, many connections...

Worth Family

Lillian Worth - aka Sweet Lili. Former Cambodian princess. Ran a bordello for some time before crossing paths with Slade. Mother to Rose Wilson-Worth. Currently resides with her daughter in New York and runs a brothel.

Rose Wilson-Worth - Former street racer (to the relief of her parents). Slade Wilson's eldest daughter and current holder of the alias Ravager. Besides Joey, Rose is the only other one of her half-siblings to inherit more than enhanced senses/healing from their father.

Wu Family

Cassandra Cain-Wayne - loves ballet as much as Medea loves figure skating. The daughter of David Cain and Sandra Wu, though estranged from both parents. As of currently, Black Bat operates exclusively in Gotham.

Sandra Wu - operates as Lady Shiva, world's greatest martial artist and looking for that final fight. Hires out her skill as an assassin. Mother to Cassandra Cain and Medea Wilson. Learning how to co-parent with Deathstroke.

They say that Lady Shiva is just as deadly with or without a weapon.

Medea Wilson - The baby of the family and holder of many, many nicknames. Notable ones include being her father's 'princess' and her mother's 'little witch'. Only child of Sandra Wu and Slade Wilson, her father's youngest child/daughter.

Current aspirations: to become the best figure skater.

Jade Nguyen - Operates as the assassin, Cheshire. An acquaintance/friend/partner/??? of Grant Wilson and has a soft spot for his sister, Medea.

Medea hasn't figured it out yet, but she swears she will get to the bottom of it. Soon.

apprehensive. she doesn’t want to go inside. jade knows what waits for her in there , and she doesn’t think she can deal with the guilt that she’ll face when she does. she has handled lawrence her entire career working with the league , perfected the art of ignoring and avoiding him. she’s done a few jobs , shown him nothing but contempt and disdain every step of the way. but ra’s had told her she could not continue to be a BRAT , had to help out now that the justice league had allowed their sidekicks to form a group. jade could handle that , could handle having to work with her father. she does not think she can handle working with her sister. she remembers the day she’d left , those spiteful words that had left her. in this family , it’s every girl for herself. she’d left artemis with lawrence , a vengeful , awful little thing , spat in the face of everything their mother had taught her. stay with your sister , jade. you’re the eldest , it’s your job to keep her safe. but she couldn’t live with him. the door is daunting. she can hear lawrence’s voice from where she is , and he does not sound happy. what a shock. with what she assumes must be a heavy heart , jade pushes through , the door closing behind her with a SLAM. “ let the kid breathe , sportsmaster. “ she says , refusing to look at either of them as she places her bag down on a counter closest to her , taking out all of her things that she would need. her mask is delicately placed down , then her sais , a belt with some of her other equipment. once she’s unpacked all of that , her outfit follows , along with a katana. “ we need to concentrate , and your tone does not exactly help keep people calm now , does it ?? “ a quick glance through the corner of her eyes , regarding them both with a quirk of a brow. manicured nails tap against the counter now , just an inch away from one of her weapons , almost daring him to speak up. the set of her shoulders should inform him that she does not want to be here , and in the end , he just turns away from her , gathers some of his things , and exists the room. leaving her alone with artemis. “ baby sister. long time no see. “

by request - here's a few more character icons. This was really fun to make, I hope you all enjoy!

not my art, they belong to their rightful creators. I used pic crew to create them. Links will be tagged at the very bottom.

(LEFT) William 'Billy' Wintergreen - Slade's right hand man in many things. In addition to that, he's the godfather to all four of the Wilson children. A veritable feat considering the chaos they get up to with and without his help.

Judging by his face, one of his godchildren is likely in the midst of explaining why he should help them with their chaos.

(RIGHT) Dr. Arthur Will-hane 'Villain' - A doctor for those that require discrete services- including as Deathstroke and his family's personal doctor. Currently, Medea's boss and although he seems like a grumpy man, he does have a soft spot for his doctor in residence.

Wally West - A speedster primarily operating out of Central City if he isn't tied up with League work. While operating as Flash, Medea interacts with him in two very different roles. The first is as Dr. Wilson, who is his 'unofficial' official doctor. The second, is as his 'nemesis' who has exclusive rights to the position. You know, they really should get on giving her a name though for that second role...

A core memory for both Medea and Wally - probably her tasering him when they were younger.

Conner Kent - Medea and him briefly had a relationship in their mid to late teens. They parted on good terms and remain friends. Currently part of the newest iteration of the Teen Titans in San Fransisco and operating as Superboy.

Eddie Bloomberg - Best friends with Medea since childhood. They may have started out as penpals, but they've come a long way since then. Sold his soul to Neron at age 16 for powers, but through a series of events, Eddie not only keeps his soul when he turns 20, he also discovers that he's a meta. A side effect to this was that his natural form was no longer human like. Operating as Red Devil at times and is quite close with Rose.

And last, but not least...

Lian Nguyen-Harper: Daughter to Jade Nguyen and Roy Harper, she might be the one to rival Medea in terms of their vast network to various masks – viewing Medea and her siblings as uncles and aunts, with a similar idea regarding Roy's friends. Hence Uncle Wally or Medi. She's also the only other one to call Medea, 'Medi', outside of her family.

Bonus! A current snapshot of Medea Wilson - dressed so nicely, perhaps she's on her way to meet a certain speedster?

Batshit AU Pt #2: The Grandkids

So I mentioned in the last post Batshit AU Pt. #1 that I cover Dick and Jason's kids but since I've been thinking (read: fantasizing) about the future of the Batfam I figured I'd just do a post with ALL the grandkids!

Just a heads up: this is a LONG post.

First we shall start with the Grayson's:

Mar'i and Jake (Jake is not my original name I've seen it pop up in other media- dunno if it's canon in any timeline but I'm going with it).

Mar'i Grayson: Mar'i is the biologically daughter of Dick Grayson and Koriand'r of Tamaran (aka Starfire). Kori is unknowingly pregnant after one last one-night-stand with Dick before going back to her home planet to take over as queen. Unfortunately, because of Kori's sister Komand'r (aka Blackfire) causing civil unrest to try and usurp the thorn from her, Tamaran becomes unsafe for Mar'i as she is Kori's only heir.

-Kor'i goes back to Earth with an infant Mar'i and begrudgingly hands her over to Dick so she can live with him and be safe from Blackfire.

-Kori of course visits while she can but has a lot of responsibilities on Tamaran. When Mar'i is older she is able to go back to Tamaran to visit her mother.

-A few years later when Dick and Barbra get married, Barbra officially adopts Mar'i. Seeing both Kor'i and Barbra as her mothers Mar'i decides so call Kori "Mama" and Barbra "Mom/Mommy".

Jake Grayson: don't have much of an exciting backstory for him. He was basically just an orphaned infant Dick and Barbra decided to adopt after his bio-parents had been murdered.

Now he have the Todd family:

Because I am a heartless monster I decided that since Roy died in the comics without any sign of Lian and Jason was pretty fucked up about it, I would have Jason adopt Lian because Roy wasn't round to take care of her. So this is basically what happened:

Lain Harper-Todd: 1 year or so after Roy's death, Jason is visited by Jade Nguyen (aka Cheshire) who is carrying an infant Lian. Jade explains that she hadn't realised she was pregnant with Roy's child until after he was already dead and since she is not ready to give up her life as an assassin she states that Lian is better off without her. She then asks Jason if he would be willing to take Lian in as Roy's former partner (read into that how you will).

-Jason agrees, and decides to hyphenate her last name Harper-Todd so that she will always have a piece of Roy with her even if he can't be there for her in person.

it's not that I don't think JayRoy is cute! It's just that I honestly I don't really picture Jason dating anyone in my mind and the thought of him being a single dad is just precious. I'm also allergic to OC's (of my own making) so I usually try to keep to characters that are at least canon in some timeline and Lian was the first to come to mind.

Also I'm a angst-hungry monster so...

Drake-Wayne/Dowd/McGinnis household:

Lol, this family has too many names.

I already went over Terry and Matthew McGinnis' backstory in Batshit AU Pt. #1 but if you are too lazy/ don't feel like reading it I'll try to make sure to cover the important details.

Terry & Matthew McGinnis: A few years down the road, Tim is the current Batman and married to Bernard Dowd (my new fave batship). One night on patrol he finds the boys hunkered down behind an garbage container and approaches them.

-Terry is extremely protective of his younger brother Matt and becomes immediately aggressive, swinging a baseball around and threatening Tim to leave them alone.

-Tim finds it admirable/endearing that Terry is willing to face Batman alone in order to protect his brother and tells him so. He then asks them where there parents and and Matt (trusting Batman) tells Tim that they were killed by the 'Bad Men' who are now looking for he and Tarry.

-Tim is worried for the boys safety and offers to take them to the Police, but Tarry only says that they already tried that and that there are spies in the GCPD who ratted them out to the 'Bad Men'.

-Tim figures out that the boys are in more danger then he first realized and takes them home with him in order to protect them.

-Tim eventually finds out about Project Batman Beyond, an experiment orchestrated by A.R.G.U.S. in order to create the perfect child to usurp the Cowl and give A.R.G.U.S and 'in' with the Justice League and the super-community as a whole. A part of this project is making sure the children are biologically Bruce Wayne's in order for them to also gain influence over Wayne Enterprises.

-Tim realizes that there is no real safe place that he can send the boys and after discussing it with his husband, Bernard, the two decide to adopt the boys.

I think this adoption story is one of my favourites. Especially because I find the idea of Bernard not at all being surprised by his husband brining home black-haired blue-eyes orphans, hilarious.

Bernard: I figured since you are now Batman it was only a matter of time.

Tim: >:(

Wayne-Kent situation:

DamiJon is one of my absolute favourite ships in existence. But since both boys are so young in canon my version of their future relationship truly is creature of my own design, I will explain them a little and then the kids. I'll be quick about it. Promise. (There is also a 2 part series I'm working on that goes into my version of events called "Jon and Damian" if anyone is interested. Jon's chapter is done but Damian's is still in the works).

Jon: he is the one that I really have to explain. I call my version of him "Dark-ish Jon" or 'dark ish jon' for the tags. For those of you who already know the deal (or don't really care) y'all can skip to the *** for the kids.

-basically Jon was kidnapped by Jon-El (Clark's Kryptonian Bio-dad) in order for Jor-El to mold Jon into the perfect weapon for his plan to conquer the universe. They have a machine that Jumps through various timelines so no one can find them, and Jon-El trains/tortures Jon for 2 years.

-Jon eventually discovers new powers that allow him to kill Jor-El and escape but he ends up spending the next several years trying to find his original timeline.

-He eventually meets the Legion of Superheroes that help him get home, but once he arrives home he realizes that for him it has been 7 years since he was kidnaped, but only 2 weeks for his family/friends.

-Because of this he and his family find it hard to adjust to the new situation and Jon ultimately decides to return to the Legion but visit occasionally.

Damian: Honestly I don't think I really have to explain much about Damian for y'all to get the kids but I do want you to know:

He has long hair

He has peirced ears

Possibly tattoos?

He's has more of a slim figure than Bruce's bulky one

He is a fashion icon and kinda has 'bitchy white girl' energy

Bacically he very pretty and looks a LOT like Thalia

And yeah. The two eventually reconcile after Jon is done moping in another timeline and they decide to retire from crime fighting and build a cottage/farm and live in peace.

Athanasia: So she is actually Bruce's bio-kid from the Injustice timeline. And for my AU she is still Bruce's biologically and she does recognize him as her father, but because she and Damian are 13/14 years apart and she knows him better she lives and defers to him as her caretaker. I shall explain:

-Athanasia was created by Thalia in a fit of madness after Damian's death. Because of what happened to Damian, and because Athanasia turned out to be a girl (and therefor Ra's would have no use for her), Thalia keeps the little girl locked away and a secret so that no one can harm her.

-Years pass and Athanasia has never seen the outside would. Eventually something happens (will depends on the Fic -because I will get around to writing this shit eventually) and Athanasia is given to Damian (the only other person Thalia ever told her about.)

-At this point Bruce is getting older and most of his current children already have their own kids, so both he and Damian agree that because Athanasia is mostly attached to Damian and doesn't really know who Bruce is outside of being her father, that she will live with he and Jon.

-Athanasia get's older and eventually meets another girl at her school named Carrie Kelley. The girls form a quick bond, Carrie's louder personality complementing Athanasia's more quiet one.

Carrie Kelley: being best friends with Athanasia leads to Carrie spending a lot of time over at her house. This allows Jon and Damian to get to know the girl and become quite fond of her.

-one night after a sleepover at Jon and Damian's house with some of their other friends, Carrie's father comes to the house drunk and carrying a shot gun. He accuses Jon and Damian of being pedophiles because of their sexual orientations and calls them a variety of homophobic slurs.

-It's his attempts at shooting Jon that leads to Carrie calling 911 and having her own father arrested.

-Because her mother had already left and Carrie only had her dad to take care of her, Jon and Damian offer her a place in their home and eventually adopt her along with Athanasia when the girls are teenagers.

So, yeah! That's it for now. I am absolutely obsesses with this AU. I just love the idea of Bruce deciding to take in Dick leading to him having an army of children and grandchildren so large that all family gatherings have to happen at the Manor because nowhere else is big enough.

Tester Muse: Lian Harper

I’ve loved Lian for years, she’s a comic character that hasn’t gotten much love in the recent years, she’s DC’s Preboot/Pre N52 (New Earth) mainly for the fact that she’s not in N52. & from what I know she’s not in Rebirth. (i haven’t read much of Rebirth so if that statement has become wrong, jump in pms or on discord, for those who have it, and tell me all about it so I can go read it.)

She’s the daughter of the Titan, Roy Harper & the assassin, Jade Nguyen. I know her so well from her time with Rose Wilson (or Rose Worth from my blog). Rose was her nanny & bodyguard when she was with the Titans as a child.

I want to write her mainly because I was inspired by her return in Flash Point (though i hate flashpoint so if anyone also hates flashpoint i gotchu) & for the fact a few of my friends & partners have children muses & I think it would be fun.

She’s human, in the future she becomes Red Hood, inspired by my opinion, from Red Riding Hood. A vigilante that uses her bow & arrows like her father to help people.

In her main verse I will be writing her as ten, i take all the good & the bad of her story. Though if anyone wants me to avoid/tag those events pls lemme know. Though i’ll probably tag it with something, what you prefer may be helpful? (unless i end up with ten different tags bcuz no)

When my computer died a very tragic death, i lost most of the icons i made for her. So, you’ll probably get iconless threads for all those who wish an interaction.

Interior Design: Module K

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Beta Cinema

Bold colours, strong geometric shapes and a ‘flashback’ to the famous buildings of old Saigon come into focus in the new Beta Cinema design in HCMC.

Vietnamese interiors company Module K have completed their first cinema. Located on the ground floor of an existing shopping mall, the 2000 m2 cinema for Beta Media seats 1000 and is aimed at millennials with its Saigon vibe and architectural vocabulary.

Each detail of the design references significant Saigon landmarks dotted around the city: the Municipal Opera House, Ben Thanh Market, Central Post Office, Tan Dinh Church, Paris Commune Square and the small alleys.

“But we gave it a different take,” says Jade Nguyen, director of Module K. “We captured the iconic features of Saigon and transformed them by stripping details, condensing the basic lines and turning them into geometric shapes. Then we applied a technique of solid colour treatment, as used in graphic design and cartoons, to bring a unifying element.”

The pastel palette, reminiscent of art nouveau, features hues of flamingo pink, sea green and bright orange. The various coloured blocks and cubes transition the different spaces and the stretches of colour give the space a seemingly endless depth. The main entrance features alternating geometric shapes, and a strong simple impact. The vast central hall and sitting area features a dome in Indochine green recalling the colonial Central Post Office with its towering vaulted ceiling. A circular staircase in the Beta Media logo blue colour is also a meeting place for young people. The floor is paved with encaustic cement tiles with oriental Asian patterns. A flock of pigeons flying above reminds audiences of those at the Municipal Opera House and the Paris Commune Square.

The ticket counter in shades of acqua with eye-catching shapes is inspired by the rhythms of the colonnades and roof of Ben Thanh Market. Circular cut outs in the walls and the ceiling bring contrast to the repeating shapes.

The side lobby and hallways are reminiscent of the fascinating alleys and street life of HCMC. The corridor leading into the hall has rainbow coloured arches. The mezzanine and ground floor are connected through corridors running around the building. Several semicircular loggias are formed to create check-in corners and panoramic views of the space. The asymmetrical arch pillars on the right side of the space reference the rose-coloured Gothic style of Tan Dinh Church’s design, as does a bright pink waiting bench.

Pastel pink staircases wrap themselves around bold columns, their stepped forms repeated in balustrades.Circular and square shaped chairs dot the mezzanine meeting area inviting relaxation and connection. The bathrooms are another shot of strong colour with asymmetrical motifs creating a striking impression. Inside the cinemas orange and lemon coloured lozenge-shaped reliefs on the walls alternate in shape and are backlit to contrast with deep turquoise coloured seats.

“The client wanted to convey a message of pride in Saigon landmarks, but not with the usual Indochine style. And we wanted to move away from the typical cinema design – dark and moody – so we tried to create a funky and welcoming space with locations for connecting, eating, drinking pre and post film showings.”

Mr Minh Bui, CEO Beta Group says: “Module K’s strong design response and their passion made a big impact and matched our own.”

The goal was to give audiences a brand new destination for movie-watching, with an urban art style resonating with a dynamic and bustling Saigon vibe.

“We wanted to create an “instagrammable” moment, a buzz, a wow feeling for Gen Z to tell friends to come and check out the design and remember the name” added Ms Nguyen. Module K used modelling from geometric shapes to generate the different scenes within the spaces. Materials include Indochine tiles, epoxy floor, steel structures, with furniture by local companies Soulroom and RPB Furniture.

After having won the project competition against 30 other design firms, Module K came in under budget and construction was completed in just 35 days.Beta group already has 20 cinemas in the northern part of Vietnam – this was their first in HCMC – and Module K is now working with them on another cinema on the tourist island PHú quốc.
