for the tmnt ask game: 16!
Hello!
16. As cliche as it is, I’d probably have to say Shredder, specifically 2012. He is, imo, the scariest of the Shredders, simply because his behavior is disturbingly realistic. While he doesn’t always get his way to single-handedly finish off Splinter and The Turtles, he finds ways to break them down and manipulate and hurt people they care about. He is so hellbent on taking Splinter down, that he doesn’t give a shit about the consequences of his actions (i.e. Annihilation: Earth!). He brainwashes Raph and Karai, emotionally (and physically) breaks Leo, and succeeds with ending Splinter more than once. His delusion that he is the victim has him in a vice grip and is saddening and frustrating to see. Also is a plus that Kevin Michael Richardson is his VA— who I was first introduced to as the voice of Trigon in Teen Titans (another favorite villain of mine).

2012 Turtles Speaking/Writing Japanese Headcannons
Leonardo excels the best at it. He can fluently read, write, speak, and comprehend Japanese. He and Karai have full blown conversations in Japanese, much to the annoyance of others that can’t comprehend as well or as quickly
Raphael doesn’t read or write Japanese. He knows some words, mostly commands or techniques related to ninjutsu or martial arts. He also knows various curse words in Japanese that he has to be careful to make sure Leo doesn’t overhear him
Donatello can read and write Japanese. His comprehension is mediocre. However, besides the basic commands and practices in martial arts, the genius turtle cannot speak it to save his life
Michelangelo can comprehend a decent amount of Japanese and occasionally says a few words or phrases in Japanese. But he’s mostly fine with just plain English. He cannot read or write Japanese
Thank you to @tixiqofthelight for brainstorming these with me.

Was reading the 2012 TMNT Panini comics when I stumbled across this. I guess Mikey’s got toaster problems too, lol

@misteria247 here’s another one in Wormquake. It’s a little trickier to see, but he unsheathes it from his broken blade and uses them both.

@misteria247 here is a clip of Leo using his tanto blade in the invasion
No thoughts head empty. Except for the red floof. Here's a selection of the frankly ebullient Turning Red fanart you've all been making. It's long. This is a long post.
