Was in my yard and something fell out of a tree. It was a baby raccoon! I saw the mama raccoon looking down from a knothole in the tree. I went inside to give them some space and was able to observe the baby raccoon rescue from the third floor porch.
I saw you say something about “The largest lesbian centered events company in the greater Boston area”. What’s the company name so I can follow?
It's funny when I posted that comment I was thinking I should go back and add links for the lesbians. Sapphic Nights Boston hosts roughly 1-4 events every week. Mostly club nights with a theme (emo, woc, Slavic, masc, pop, Latin, bailefunk, etc). They also do events like drag race viewing parties, sip and paint events, yacht parties, there's a retreat weekend. The events are mostly in Boston with a few happening on a regular basis in Providence, Worcester, and Salem. I think they just finished a weekend in Provincetown. Second place is Lesbian Night Life who does more day parties, brunches, singles events, and over 30s events. Snatched Entertainment does 'queer poc' events but they lean more towards women.
Dani's Queer Bar is a lesbian owned bar that's supposed to open soon. Until then if you're willing to drive there's Femme Bar in Worcester. In addition to typically club nights they have lots more lowkey stuff like boardgames nights and book clubs. In the Jamaica Plain neighborhood is lesbian owned Drawdown Brewing that does some women's events. I've been there to watch women's hockey and they also have non-alcoholic drinks.
My gift to @heromaggie for Fallout February 2023. I drew her oc Mercy with Deacon on a warm summer evening in Jamaica Plain. This pic gives me total summer vibes I’d like to be there now 🥲
Playing Ana's Fallout 4 survival game again... honestly missed this. Ita's game hasn't really jived with my braincells yet so we're back to the Gunner Queen because she still has a few unbuilt settlements and I can scratch the ol' itch for the kill-scavenge-build loop. Currently working on the initial Red Rocket location, which until now had been an unmanned loot-dump station. Pics to come when it's done, we got mildly sidetracked with a run to the new HQ at Jamaica Plain. Rebel gunners keep taking over the old HQ down the road and I needed Gunner outfits for the new recruits at Red Rocket... easiest way to get them is off dead traitors. :3
This Sunday, 21 April, I will be one of the Boston Comics Roundtable artists with art in Outside the Box who will be present for the "Meet the Artists" reception in the Joy Cochran Gallery. The Gallery is in the Parker Room at the Footlight Club in Jamaica Plain, MA. Outside the Box is an exhibit of kid-friendly pages in coordination with the Footlight Club's production, Tuck Everlasting, which opens this weekend.
The reception is 1--2 PM this Sunday, just before that day's matinee of Tuck Everlasting. Light refreshments will be served, and you will have the opportunity not only to look at the comics art on the walls but to buy copies of the comics those pages are from!
Several original pages from my Drowned Town Press all-ages mini-comic Laird MacGuffin's Treasury join the work of Dan Mazur, Anthony Lathrop, Brendan Tobin, Lindsey Leigh, Reggie Themistocle, Julie DiSalvio, Robert Christie and Deborah Lang, Crispin Wood, Calvin and Nile Hennick, Mark Borok, Jerel Dye, Jonathan Todd, and Catalina Rufín.
The Footlight Club, the oldest community theatre in the USA, is at 7A Eliot Street in Jamaica Plain, MA, just off Centre Street. The closest public transportation is the MBTA #39 Bus; the Green Street and Forest Hills stops on the Orange Line are each at least 15 minutes' walk from the theatre, and there are shuttle buses replacing that branch south of Ruggles 20--21 and 27--28 April. There are several parking garages in the area, though closer to the T stations than to the theatre.
Dreaming of a dazzling smile but dreading traditional braces? Invisalign might be your perfect solution. Jamaica Plain Dental offers this innovative teeth-straightening treatment, and here, we'll break down the entire Invisalign process, step by step.
Unveiling the Magic of Invisalign
Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners, custom-made to fit your teeth snugly. Unlike braces, these aligners are practically invisible, making orthodontic treatment discreet and comfortable.
Step-by-Step Guide to Your Invisalign Journey at Jamaica Plain Dental
Initial Consultation: Your journey begins with a consultation at Jamaica Plain Dental. Our experienced dentists will assess your teeth, gums, and overall oral health to determine if Invisalign is the right choice for you. They'll also discuss your desired outcome and answer any questions you may have.
Crafting Your Treatment Plan: If Invisalign is a good fit, we'll take digital scans or X-rays of your teeth. This creates a 3D model used to design your custom aligner trays. We'll also map out a treatment plan outlining the estimated number of aligners and the overall treatment duration.
Aligner Creation: With the treatment plan finalized, the digital models are sent to Invisalign labs. There, your personalized aligner trays are meticulously crafted using advanced technology.
Receiving Your First Aligners: It's finally here! At your next appointment, we'll present your first set of aligners and ensure they fit comfortably. We'll also provide detailed instructions on wearing and caring for your aligners.
Gradual Transformation: You'll wear each set of aligners for a prescribed period, typically one to two weeks. As you wear them consistently, the aligners gently apply pressure to your teeth, gradually shifting them into their desired positions.
Regular Check-Ups: To monitor your progress and ensure everything is on track, we'll schedule regular check-up appointments. During these visits, we'll assess your progress, provide new aligner sets, and address any concerns you might have.
Maintaining Your New Smile: Once your treatment is complete, you'll likely need to wear a retainer for some time to maintain your beautiful new smile. We'll provide detailed instructions on retainer wear and care.
Invisalign Advantages at Jamaica Plain Dental
Discreet Treatment: The clear aligners are barely noticeable, allowing you to straighten your teeth without impacting your smile aesthetics.
Enhanced Comfort: Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign avoids the discomfort of metal wires and brackets.
Removable Aligners: You can remove the aligners for eating, drinking (except water), brushing, and flossing, promoting better oral hygiene.
Faster Treatment Times: Invisalign treatment can sometimes be completed in less time compared to traditional braces.

Quand tu ensorcelais vos formules, tu as impressionné l'école entière!
Samuel: Bie—euh… bien…
Reginald: Et cette orb dans ton sac à dos… Es-tu requise l'avoir?
Samuel: J—Je crois que c'est le cas.
Reginald: Et qu'est-ce que passer lorsque je tiens cette orb? (Reginald takes the orb from Samuel's bag)
Samuel: A–Attends! Mère te possiblement voir de cette orb!Reginald: Est-ce le cas? Ainsi… Bonsoir, Mère Scélérate Bélan—
Samuel: (Takes his ball back and puts it in his bag) D'accord, c'est la limite pour maintenant.
Reginald: Bon, peut-être je te visite bientôt ou tard. Nous pourrons prendre le train ensemble par quantité. Par temps, souvent. (Both hear the sounds of train bells as a train arrives quickly towards the platform) Bien, j'y vais chez moi maintenant! À bientôt, Samuel! (The train starts to leave) À bientôt!!!
Samuel: À bientôt, Régis Powell! À… bien—tôt… (Samuel sees his train pull in quickly to the station, then it releases a PA Call) A–A—Attends! (Samuel runs up the stairs) Attends une minute! (Continues eating his donut from Mike's Donuts, and then dashes through the fare gates, making his way to the metro and boards that train.)
