Amy Adams has RANGE y’all. She was fabulous

The fact that Giselle, Morgan, Robert, and Tyson all got to be the heroes, there wasn’t just one person who swept in an did it all themselves was just… *chef’s kiss*

Idina Menzel 😍

There was a great balance of magic and real life stuff in a way that was different enough to make it unique from the original but also honor what sets Enchanted apart as a movie

The costume department popped off, y’all

Robert being head over heels for Giselle and being a really good dad is just very soothing to watch lol. And the part where he saved the little girl whose family was identical to his 😭 poetic cinema

Yep I just love everything about this film lol. I don’t think it was better than the original but I don’t think it needs to be, either. It was special in its own way and I’m going to be talking about it forever 😂❤️

okay super late to the party but finally watched Disenchanted, mainly bc queen idina menzel was in it and also queen amy adams AND maya rudolph.

anyway so i have questions about nancy, actually? like i really want to know how miss no nonsense, i run a fashion boutique in new york city just up and decided you know what, screw all this, i’m moving to a fantasy kingdom? like what kind of life was she leading before this and how bad did it have to be for her to just leave everything behind? did she not have friends and family?

also how did her and edward fall in love? how did she go from practical street smart new york woman to the one we see in Disenchanted?

it was a pretty good sequel tho and “the flowers on your dress bring out the… other flowers on your dress” is 100% something i would say as someone who’s main goal in life is to become a flower growing druid lmao.

Best of 2022 Movies #7: Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Jim Carrey unexpectedly has gone reflective over the last few years.

But it is fitting that if Sonic 2 was his swan song, he picked one great way to go out.

Expanding on the fish out of water story from the first, Sonic wants to use his skills to be a hero in far more than just Green Hills. While Robotnik surviving on mushroom combos of increasingly weird varieties ends up running into the echidnas last member a warrior known as Knuckles.

The duo team up leading them to earth, sending Sonic who is alone after his adopted family goes to a Hawaiian wedding side mission into the company of like minded Miles Tails Prower.

At which point the game references come in as the emeralds make their return sending the four on a journey.

Like mentioned Jim Carrey continues his eccentric portrayal of Robotnik only making him edgier than ever, especially with the climax.

Sonic also has better moments with Ben Schwartz continuing to accentuate that.

The movies, bright spots belong to Knuckles with Idris Elba, and even Tails and his familiar voice from the vet Colleen O'Shaughnessey.

But the James Marsden wedding shenanigans, big nope.

Still though really great and Shadow should liven things up.

Just don’t bring in Keanu.
