Some of my Janara Headcanons!

(Sorry for any mistakes, this is my first post here.)

Sara is team coffee, Janner is team hot tea

I see them both as authors in the future, writing books about their time during Gnag's rule, or maybe something to do with nature? Idk.

I don't see them having any children either, not sure why, But I can see them with a few pets.

I headcanon Sara as a really good baker!

Janner is a surprisingly good dancer.

Tons and Tons of slow dancing :)

Sara is basically the throne warden for the throne warden lol. Janner tells her everything (She gives really good advice.)

They visit Oskar often who is always happy to see them

Both of them have really bad night terrors, Sara's is from the fork factory, Janner's is from everything ngl.)

They always end up holding each other a little tighter on those nights :(

Always touching and I mean ALWAYS (Holding hands, hugging, peaks on the lips, pinkies intertwined, Ect....)

They have a few nicknames for each other (Honey, dear, flower, Nerd, dork, Ect...) but they prefer their real names it means much more to the both of them for a lot of reasons

So someone irl asked me for my Janara headcanons so here goes:

Library. All the time. Janner absolutely LOVES books, and so does Sara. Also in TWatWK when she was reading Artham's poems while at his tree house.... she likes poetry?

Sara likes her coffee in a certain way and Janner is the only one who knows how to make it. Like, Sara doesn't even know how lol

They babysit Artham and Arundelle's kids a lot. Everyone think its cute because EVERYONE in the castle ships them and then there they are with LITERAL CHILDREN.

They take turns watching over Kalmar.

Kalmar is their official third wheel, but sometimes Leeli and Maraly join in being a 4th and 5th wheel

THEY. LIKE. SAILING. PERIOD.

okay I feel like after the events of the entire Saga, they both wouldn't really like adventure but like, maybe a little here and there. Ya know, just to get out of the castle.

I feel like they'd both be good at singing (idk, maybe the First Well water helped Janner's vocal cords or something) BUT THEY SING TOGETHER. They are the type of people that either are completely serious, silent, and reading, or being completely childish and singing duets together. OH, and Leeli third wheels and plays the instruments.

They both love children and offer to watch the kids of all their friends.

Idk, Sara is good with a bow and Janner with a sword so they make a PERFECT team in battle

Who are we if not the manifestations of our ancestors spells. Their thoughts of a new beginning and better life transform into the future magical beings that we are.

Our ancestors fought long and hard, they felt the pain and hardships that the past brought.

When you truly open yourself up to the guidance of the ancestors and you ask them to make sense of everything that is in front of you, they will.

It has taken me years to figure out my mother's side. I was always told she was cherokee and scotts-irish, and to an extent that is right but that is not including the Iberian/catalonian/basque, french, romani, plus small percentage of african that comes from her side. When I found this out I was so confused and floored especially because as far as I knew, my moms family was not any of those things! But as I did more research and really buried myself into this ancestral work I finally found my answer. This whole time I was looking at everything separately, how is it possible for all these groups of people to have mixed and mingled? I realized that I was looking at this all wrong. I began noticing things about certain groups of people from the area my mom is from. My mom is from Kentucky. Her family has lived all around the Appalachian mountains. Now, her family is in Western Kentucky, close to the Illinois Kentucky line. I happened to fall on a group of people called the Melungeons. Everything about them sounded extremely familiar. From their light eyes, thick dark hair, dark skin, european features, and high cheek bones as well as the familiar last names that I saw on the list of common melungeon surnames like Crow, Allen, Bell, Wise, Moore, Lowry, Greene, Cox, Clark, Collins, Powell, Hopkins, Bridges, Dye, etc.. These names are so important because these are the surnames for my moms family who lived in the areas inhabited by the Melungeons. I feel like my ancestors have been guiding me me to this information for awhile. Learning about our ancestors helps us to learn about ourselves. I will never stop learning of them and their ways. I am going to start a countdown to my new class on working with the Ancestors. Everyday until my new class Working with the Ancestors 101 on Saturday 10/28, I am going to be posting about one of my ancestors every day in their honor. First Aesthetic to the protagonist of my First Fantasy Saga that I have yet to name, which is introduced in my first book, The Fall from Babylon.

I created her cuz I was struggling studying and having a perfect grade cuz I was still a freshman, at 18, and the shame further fueled my social anxiety. I was struggling with being a woman, a good Christian Catholic cuz I feared Hell, and I felt alone even if I had my family, but I didn't let them pick through my mind cuz I wanted meet the standard of the Golden Child and the Firstborn (honestly I felt a mix of Mirabel, Isabela y Luisa).

I was inspired by an owl movie which I don't honestly remember the name, when I'll remember I will give credit.

Now I revived her, and discovered that she is inspired from the an Ymbryme OC (a Peculiar specie from the Saga Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children) and from other OC of my Fanfictions that nobody has ever read and never read :).

The last time she talked to me feels like a century ago, I didn't let her take my hand for describing herself, I created her as a self inserted so I could vent out all of my problems, but she's not me, and now I finally separated myself from her so she can live.

I will make a video for introducing her, but now this is her Aesthetic. The song associated with this Aesthetic is this:

so now he sort of knows how to read palms like he remembers things here and there and he'll offer to do it as a party trick or while bored in skyhold but he sucks at it and is mostly making things up

Janara (Janner x Sara) headcanons? From the Wingfeather Saga?

Oh gosh I'm so sorry for answering this so late lol. Janner x Sara headcanons, you say? Alright!

Ok so first of all, they're obviously in love. Janner literally dreams about Sara's eyes, and everytime Sara thinks about a family and husband and whatever, Janner always pops in her mind. Which is, quite frankly, adorable.

So, assuming you're asking about after the series ends, obviously Janner gets revived and all that. Then, Janner and Sara are super awkward around each other and weird and stuff (think about Janner and Sara from season 1 in the show, just they both have more trauma). Kal teases them both endlessly about it, but it backfires on him whenever he gets a crush lol.

I think Sara would tell Janner about what happened after he left The Fork Factory, and while I'm unsure of what his exact reactions would be, I think it would be somewhere between slightly guilty that she did end up getting punished, slightly embarrassed about how many times she thought about him (as if he isn't the exact same xD) and also really in awe, I guess, about her bravery and all the kids that ended up helping her and stuff. Idk but I imagine it'd be something like that.

Eventually, whether it's a year or two later or when they're older teens, they start dating each other. Which everyone in the castle has been waiting for because not only are they literally made for each other, but literally everyone can see that they like each other. For them it's basically like “oh wait we both like each other wow what a coincidence" lol

I'm not sure if you've read Wingfeather Tales, but if not then this will be massive spoilers, so proceed with caution. So, the last story in Tales is about a guy named Karl who's Sara's dad and after she's taken he basically goes on a mission to find her. It's a pretty dark story, but it's one of my favorites so yeah. Anyways, at the end, after like... 30 years or something, he ends up in the Green Hollows where his wife is now living, and she's basically like, “Karl!? Its you!?" And then calls someone she calls “sweetness" to bring her kids to meet their grandpa. That person I am fairly certain that is Sara, and since Peterson talked about how much he loves Wingfeather Tales and considering he literally read them for Audible (complete with the voices and everything) I think that basically makes them canon. Which means that at some point, in the future, Sara has kids.

Now, going back to Janner who is most certainly revived and he and Sara literally are in love and all that, I headcanon that those kids are Janner and Sara's. Which is not only adorable, (and I will fight anyone who disagrees) but it also means that there's a happy beginning/ending (idk what to word it as) for them, and subsequently everyone.

Sorry this ask was so long lol I got started and then got carried away. Also sorry if this isn't what you were expecting, but like I said, I got carried away xD.

What if...?

okay so this will be a mixture of both the show and the books so spoilers for both!

Okay so what if, instead of being sent to the fork factory, Sara was sent to the phoob islands and was fanged.

It mostly worked except she's getting back some REALLY hazy memory of someone gifting her a necklace

Sara doesn't remember who gave her the necklace or where it is but it feels so familiar and she can't stop dreaming about it

She finally decides to find out so while on patrol she raveges every jeweler she can but to no avail

one night Sara has dreams of a boy named Janner she (Being fanged) dose not remember him but she thinks he is the clue to finding her necklace

So she joins the hunt for the Jewels of Anniera, recognizes Janner while he's about to be melded, only to get her memories back as soon as she see's him.

"Janner?"

"Sara!?"

Just an idea ik it's bad :D

Janara headcanons because I can

I'm bored. So here's this.

Clinginess. Both of them, once they've gotten out of the shy and awkward stage, are clingy. Janner will randomly follow Sara around like a lost puppy.

Janner literally cannot say no to Sara. Sara wants a puppy? Janner buys her 50. Sara wants a new book? Janner gives her a library.

Neither of them can cook, which shows some interesting moments in the kitchen with the stove on fire.

They both love to read and will have dates in the castle library with reading competitions.

Kalmar and Maraly are their third and fourth wheels.

They do double dates with Artham and Arundelle

Cuddling. LOTS OF CUDDLING.

Italian folklore - Janare 🧹🧂🌙

Their name's origin is yet uncertain, it might come from "Dianare" which were the Diana's priestess, devoted to the moon, or it could came from "ianua" the latin word for "door" (I'll explain why down here, keep reading). These figures were located in Benevento, in the region of Campania.

The Janare were terrifying women, with very long hair, afraid of the sunlight, that came out at night. It's said that to catch a janara the hunter had to pull her by the hair and bring her inside their house. At that point the janara would protect the house from the others janare and would heal the family by using the herbs.

Usually the janare were famous for causing troubles and dancing with the devil around the walnut trees, nearby the rivers.

They were able to summon storms, cause infertility and sickness in children. They were blamed also for stealing mares, braid their mane/tail and make them run all night long, causing them to often die from exhaustion in the morning.

Their name is associated to the word "door" because to keep them away from the house people used to place a bag full of salt or a little broom hanging out the door so the janara would spend all the night counting the salt grains/ broom's bristles until the dawn... when they would hide from the sunlight.
