Green Mubazzarah, Al Ain 🇦🇪 Sound on 🔊 This is a rare sight and sound in the UAE 🌿 such a positive energy. The park is free to enter and full of endless picnic spots! Head down after 4pm (opening times might vary, this was April) and find your place under the shade of one of the many palm trees. For us it wasn’t too hot (surprisingly cool, actually) and we stayed well after sunset comfortably. Fossil Rock - Mleiha, Sharjah 🇦🇪 Location, location, location! As this was our first time there, we were not entirely sure where we were going! Luckily, we met Mohammed at the start of our journey into the desert - A local from Kalba and a regular in this desert. He helped us drive all the way up the mountain in Frank and pick the ideal camping spot, nestled between the iconic peaks Fossil Rock is so well know for. We watched the sunset from the top 🧡 checkout our Sharjah highlights to see it for yourself. He was also kind enough to help us deflate our tires as we hadn’t planned to go off-road. Fossil Rock - Mleiha, Sharjah 🇦🇪 UAE’s history frozen in time! Fossil Rock is an amazing destination in the UAE for so many reasons: 1. It’s only about 1 hour from Dubai (2 hours from Abu Dhabi) 2. You can dune bash your way there (or for the non 4x4s, you can stick to the gravel roads) 3. Great for camping! 4. Hiking (we didn’t have time, so we are definitely going back) 5. Phenomenal views - dunes, sunset and sunrise 6. It’s full of fossils trapped in time!
