Something always bugged me about the MCU deciding to still have Jane's hair turn blonde when she became Thor, even though she's played by Natalie Portman, a Jewish woman, when there's a history of Eurocentric beauty ideals being forced upon Jewish people, especially Jewish women.......

So, I decided....what if in an alternate universe, Jane Foster was Jewish? Instead of becoming some Norse god, she would be a superhero inspired by the Maccabees. The hammer theme is still there! Her Hebrew name would be Yehudit, after the Yehudit who killed Holofernes, and whose story is culturally associated with the Chanukah story. And of course her hair doesn't turn blonde.

So yeah.

My piece is inspired by Patrick Brown's official Marvel artwork of Thor.

Thor: Love and Thunder REVIEW (with spoilers!!!)

I think it was actually pretty good. There were view scenes that were actually serious and without any kind of jokes but overall, it was a solid movie! 

Some of my theories very actually true! 

- Valkyrie is gay (the Valkyrie that sacrificed herself for her was most likely her girlfriend) -> fanfiction will soon be coming. I expect it to be around 2000-5000 words, depending on how detailed I make it, so stay tuned for that1

- Korg is also gay (well technically straight because there are only “males” in his race). He also gets a boyfriend at the end of the movie called Dwayne (the Rock HEHEHEHEHEHEH joke...) and they make a baby by putting their hands in lava for a month-

- Jane died. Finally. Her cause of death was actually quite hitting (family issues), because it was stage IV cancer... But she’s kicked the bucket!! YAY (sadly she went to Valhalla and got welcomed by Heimdall...)

- Heimdall has a kid. Their given name is Astrid but they call themselves Alex. Good for them!

- I saw Chris Hemsworths ass. uncensored. That was a different kind of juicy meat. Sorry but he is a very attractive man and to see that uncensored... YES! (Don’t think me weird. I actually didn’t expect it to be uncensored!!) 

- Thor is still so cool... as are the guardians... and Valkyrie... and Korg... not Jane though. Pls never come back you trauma-induced-character-development-cause!!

- I did not like the end- Stornbreaker and Thor had some relationship problems because Stormbreaker was jealous since Thor was more interested in the newly revived Mjolnir that his new weapon. They made peace though like in the middle of the movie when Thor apologized and he gave Stormbreaker it’s first pint of mead. In the end, Thor had acquired the child of the bad guy to take care of and gave her, a 6-year-old girl, Stormbreaker while taking Mjolnir again. That sends a very bad message. I’d have liked it better the other way around.

I definetely recommend watching it though. It was really fun and the music was great! Great acting, great casting, amazing direction!
