Okay not one of those prompts but after the movie I’m obsessed with how high Regina is at the Spring Fling. We saw some vid of her and Janis interacting but I wanna knowww that that conversation was like??

Janis collapses into a chair, the hair on the back of her neck, sweaty from dancing, sticking to her. She grabs a bottle of water and downs half of it.

It takes her a good minute to realize that she's sitting next to Regina, who is staring very intently at a cup in front of her.

"Oh... hey, Regina," Janis says.

Regina makes a sound that might be hey or hm—it's hard to decipher. She picks up the cup and brings it to her lips. Or she tries to, anyway. The rim bumps against the edge of her neck collar and a few drops of liquid spill out.

Well, shit. Janis feels sorry for Regina George.

"Here, let me..." Janis gently takes the cup from Regina's hands and holds it to her mouth, cupping her hand underneath Regina's chin so nothing spills on her dress. It's the closest Janis has physically been to Regina in years, and it feels strangely intimate.

"Thanks," Regina says softly, and Janis just nods.

Janis stands to head back out onto the dance floor, but a hand on her jacket tugs her back.

"I'm cold," Regina complains, and before Janis knows it, Regina is tugging her into her lap.

"Oh, uh, okay," Janis says, gingerly patting Regina's head, because what the fuck else is she supposed to do? "Maybe you're cold because you have giant holes in your dress." From where she's sitting, Janis can basically see straight down to Regina's belly button unimpeded.

Regina pats her stomach, feeling the bare skin, and frowns. "Where's the rest of it?" she asks.

"I think you bought it like that."

"Oh." Regina's eyes flutter a bit, as if she's struggling to stay awake. "Where's your dress?"

"I... don't have one?" Janis says, confused. "I wanted to wear a suit."

"Hmm," Regina says, her eyes flicking up and down Janis's body. "You look hot, but I think you would look hotter in a dress. More legs."

"More legs?" Janis repeats.

"Yeah. Not, like, more than two," Regina says seriously, "but you have nice legs. We should see them more."

Janis has no idea what to say to that, so she just nods. She sees a flash and notices Damian taking photos of them from the dance floor. Janis flips him off.

"You good?" Janis asks, trying to figure out how to extricate herself from this situation.

"You know I died, right? For fifteen seconds?" Regina says, unprompted. "Turns out heaven looks like a really nice hotel in Miami."

"I don't think that was heaven. Heaven would not be in Florida," Janis says.

"You'll see that I'm right when you die."

"Is that a threat?" Janis jokes.

"Of course not," Regina says, looking offended. "You're too cute to die young."

Then she reaches up and boops Janis on the nose with her index finger.

Another flash goes off.

Janis is going to kill Damian.
