It’s been raining & dreary for awhile here so I figure this is the best lighting I’m going to get 😅 Happy January everybody! Ironically I expounded on the snowflake theme my bullet journal had going despite it not being cold enough to snow where I live 🌨️👀⛈️ So far I’m still liking this new planner set up & hopefully it’ll guide me to great things in 2023 🤗🐰❄️☃️✨

I just did these two pages because I was going to to do one a day but since yesterday I didn’t do any pages I had to double up for two days so I can finish it for next month.

I really didn’t like how I did the ducks in the first picture because I accidentally used a black pen instead of the gray one I’ve been using for the other pages. I did remember tho on the next page to use the correct pen.

I also really don’t like the stain that are on the left page I don’t know why I keep getting those but on the other two page it also had some.

Other then that I really like the ducks (that are actually swans but I’ve been calling them ducks) 🦢🦢🦢🌲🌲

Project!

I've been trying to get back into bullet journaling again and I've started out strong. It lets me be artsy while still creating something functional. It also has like my life in it since balancing work, life, and school is increasingly difficult. So I have a place to keep myself organized and still brain dump some thoughts into it.

I have a green/floral theme for January. The classic blue themes are great but it's not for me.

It adds bulk to the journal, but this is also some THICC paper. It's only bled once but I was blending markers. So next time I'm not gonna blend so hard and find alternatives or just cover up the other side.

I'll do a reblog of February, since that's a celestial/space/dreamscape theme!

Reading Goals - JOMPbpc

Instead of getting caught up in book amount, I'm focusing on page amount per month. My goal is 600 pages a month. It was actually my boyfriend's idea, since he has seen me get buried in my tbr-goals. And so far, it feels doable :)

The first month of the year has come and gone. It's had some wonderful moments - I watched my sister's team win her futsal finals and I've spent lots of time with my family and my boyfriend.

Through all of this, I've been undertaking two summer semester units so that I can graduate at the end of this year. I've loved the university lifestyle, but I'm determined to finish before 2025. I might do some postgraduate study depending on what my work life looks like next year.

Also, I saw All of Us Strangers recently, and I highly recommend it. Andrew Scott is an incredible actor and the story is captivating (though also confusing).
