Fixing some of my stuff and found these books from last year when I took an online japanese language class.
I use Genki as my main reference book which is a good thing since I found Tokini Andy's YT channel. (They explain Genki per lesson which is a great help since some lessons are only explained briefly in the book.)
You can also use an app called 'Write Japanese" for practicing Hiragana/Katakana.
Japanese class is so crazy, like I just watched a 30 minute video entirely in Japanese and understood most of it (it had Japanese subtitles so I was reading mostly). Obviously I have a long journey ahead of me but this homework assignment felt so weird and gave me so much motivation
We started out with our japanese teacher with simple expressions and we learned new words every class. We also learned how to introduce ourselves and ask for someone's job. So far, we have taken ten hiragana characters. I have already memorised them but writing them is quite challenging.
For my April fools joke, I just told my Uni Japanese 400 level classmates not to forget about the assignment due (which is true), along with how we have a test on Monday.
The class is structured in a way that we don't actually have any tests.
eLearning has been around a long time, but the pandemic has changed its status from a secondary mode of education to a near-primary mode. Even after schools and colleges have begun to open, teachers and student prefer some mode of instruction to happen through the digital format.
For the corporate sector, eLearning provides many a convenience such as cost benefit and ease in rolling out new updates. So, it has come to stay as a popular approach to training staff, marketing new products, and so on.
The challenge of online education now has been to create eLearning courses which don’t feel like they were put up in a hurry. Instead, they should be able to hold the learner’s interest. In this post, we’ll talk about nine steps you can take to create compelling eLearning content for your Japanese market.
Tuesday morning felt so special to me. I’m always so busy with work and studying and seeing loved ones that I rarely ever go out by myself. It was nice to wander through some bookshops and enjoy the sunlight ☀️
I saw a screenshot of this episode, and I was reminded that I rewatched it (and recorded some scenes) last month. Anyway, just thought some of you might want to see it.
(edit: added the tag "out of context detco dub" to all the related videos on my blog for easier searching)
