WEGO - great for buying accessories like arm warmers, belts and bags, really cute skirts. good for more cybercore + y2k/acubi styles, only in japan BUT has international shipping

CHEEP STORE - only in australia 🥲, but has really cute + cheap clothes, literally whole racks under $5 aud (about $3 usd), perfect for y2k kind of style (+ i literally saw the iconic shuhua/sakura/winter dress, but it was too big 😭)

HYPERBEES - very y2k + acubi style, generally super cute + in multiple diff places and online too, also good for more coquette? styles

Dangerfield - more grungey, goth? clothes, perfect to buy corsets + harnesses from, lots of diff places, plus sizes as well

KiraKiraWorld - only online, but all sorts of styles, really cute, y2k + kpop + grunge, lots of diff brands, they also sell really pretty bags + accessories

DRESSVY - mainly korean? style clothes, really pretty dresses, generally quite cheap, only online

Depop - online second hand clothing store, great for buying + selling clothes, u can find clothes from all around the world but it's mainly from the UK

VOLCAN & APHRODITE - only in japan 🥲, but really unique + emo/grungey styles, expensive-ish 😭, but really great quality, everything there is huge/baggy and heavy if ur bringing overseas, but they

NEW YORK JOE EXCHANGE - most of my favourite clothes come from here, generally quite cheap, its only in japan, however, the quality of second hand clothing is amazing (+ i bought a vintage burberry coat for under ¥100 000 (about $66 usd) and the quality is so good 😩)

KEIKO - really pretty korean style clothes, international shipping from australia, good quality, but expensive-ish...

SPINNS - only in japan, but has really cute clothes, not too expensive, sells really all kinds of clothes, but would suit y2k aesthetic well

I've bought several fitting over-knee socks from Cybershop before that were just labelled "one-size" and fit fine but I'm bummed out that these bisexual ones are too tight to fit past my calves, let alone my thighs 😔 Guess I gotta use them like regular socks instead

this is one of those things where if i think about it for even one second i realize that it doesnt make sense bc not everyone is Me, but i genuinely think everyone should just stop buying new clothes.....i'm always like "there's no reason to and they never fit well" and then i remember store clothes Do fit some people and also some people Didnt grow up sewing and i go oh yeah nevermind

#but clothing companies are so evil i really think people should TRY making their own clothes #i should refine my skills in the future and then like teach a sewing machine comprehension class for free to people in my neighborhood #bc sewing machines and their mysterious arcane ways are like. the worst.#also i think there is merit in buying SOME clothes namely underwear and outerwear bc its hard to make #but even when i go to buy lolita fashion im like. this was just made in the same factory as everything else.#even japanese brands they dont produce in japan anymore they outsource to other asian countries known for exploitative factories #and that shit NEVER fits so i should just #stop #t
