So, I said I'd have another post with the full manga pages for reference as well as the source of the manga pages. I'm going to be using the overall chapter numbers and the individual volume numbers (not the 2-in-1 volume names) as well as the Viz localized chapter names for the references. And I'm gonna go in order of appearance in the intro.

Chapter 98, Volume 10, Typhoon Fun. Cute little note, the mouth squiggle was clearly made into a heart in the anime intro.

Chapter 15, Volume 2, The Yellow Ribbon of Happiness. Unlike many of the remade manga panels which altered some details, this one features the ribbons.

Chapter 25, Volume 3, Love and Suffering. The original manga panel featured Lum disguised as a regular human girl prior to her enrollment in the school, with her horns softened and squished to look like barrettes. This is also why her hair is shaded differently.

Chapter 38, Volume 5, Everybody in the Rain. This one required me to make a guess. It does resemble Lum scratching Ataru in the Yellow Ribbon chapter mentioned above or Lum scratching Rei in chapter 6, but this is the only scratching while flying I found. I got some anonymous help with this one.

Chapter 26, Volume 3, How I've Waited for You. Beloved iconic scene recreated faithfully.

Chapter 12, Volume 2, Intention. Though it does somewhat resemble Lum's crying fit in chapter 2 and chapter 9, this scene is definitely from this chapter.

Chapter 23, Volume 3, Zodiac Cycles. The middle part of the zodiac gyroscope device-thing lost its one-horned striped tiger-beast (Lum's zodiac sign).

Chapter 36, Volume 4, Tanabata Date. The fur on the chair ends up floating but we have all the details on the dried squid.

Chapter 83, Volume 9, A Century by Age Three. This was a red tint chapter originally, hence the manga page looking a little different.

Chapter 354, Volume 33, Steal My Heart. Almost all the manga panel recreations come from early volumes or chapters, so it is kind of crazy that this one is from so late in the series. It is a wonderfully silly pose with the iconic Rumic gesture and yes, they replaced her uniform with the typical bikini.

Chapter 13, Volume 2, Puppet. The fan was made a bit more generic, despite UY often using the Japanese flag fan as a comedic prop.

Chapter 183, Volume 18, A Night Alone. This is the Lum cooking scene that I felt most matched the anime panel. The one in chapter 240 looked a bit different. Though they clearly drew a completely different gun than the one in either panel.

Chapter 47, Volume 5, A Tragic Date. I completely overlooked this when I was digging because I misinterpreted what the anime panel was showing. I got some anonymous help and I am glad I did, because I was not gonna find it in the next 29 volumes. Anyway, this one has her beach swimsuit replaced with her usual outfit. Also, this is one of the few panels that is drawn very differently than the source seeing as Lum was drawn with very cutesy proportions in the original manga panel.

Chapter 111, Volume 11, There's a Cat on the Stairs!. I didn't expect this to be a panel recreation since Lum jumps out of it, but I saw it while digging and yeah, it is clearly the same goofy expression.

Fem soukoku :

Dazai either blackmail, annoy or won a bet to convince chuuya to go to the beach or the pool with her ( they're either together so it's a date or they're in denial either way dazai is thirsty)

Dazai got a pareo, a bikini ( well she could also wear a one suit swimsuit to hide the scar but i think that bikini suit her) and water proof bandage ( chuuya is either with a one suit swimsuit ( i Can also see dazai pranking chuuya by replacing her swimsuit with a sukumizu ( the japanese school swimsuit) or a bikini which do nothing to hide her 8 pack abs and her toned body and dazai is a blushing mess.

Dazai will use her charm to get free stuff and will glare ( codly and darkly) at those who try to flirt with chuuya, she will also get chuuya to buy her stuff and will eagerly apply solar cream in her body.

She will also try to throw water at chuuya or sneakily push her into the water and chuuya will use her ability to throw wave at her.

Bandai Japan Announces Spy x Family Tamagotchi

Spy x Family is a Japanese magna series, and it is now getting its own Tamagotchi! Bandai Japan has announced the collaboration on their website, and it’s hitting shelves later this year. Let’s take a deeper look at this upcoming manga collaboration.

First off, caregivers will be taking care of cute Anya Forger who sis the main character and has telepathic abilities which were created in an experiment conducted by an unknown organization.

You’ll enroll in Eden Academy, which is the highly prestigious private school located in Berlint, Ostania. Depending on your care of Anya, she will evolve into different outfits inspired by the series, including two special outfits unique to the Tamagotchi. Outfits include her uniform, department store outing, swimsuit, pajamas, detective, girly, classic, academic, school boy, wizard coordination, and dress-up.

Anya also has a variety of facial expressions to show her mood. The facial expressions appear to be happy, scared, joy, fear, and surprise.

You can feed Anya a meal of rice, which does not have an image, it’s indicated as coming soon, and the snack you can feed Anya is her favorite, peanuts!

There are three mini games to play on the Spy x Family Tamagotchi, these three include Dodgeball, Spy Word Match, and one that has yet to be announced, Bandai Japan is keeping this right now as “Coming Soon”. We’ll just have to wait and see!

Various animations from the manga series will appear on screen, including Loid Forger’s disguise and two more that have yet to be announced.

If you neglect to take care of Anya Forger, then she will walk away in a unique animation where she will walk further from the display.

The Spy x Family Tamagotchi will be available in two different shells, Anyacchi Pink, and Spy Green. Both shells are listed at ¥2,530 and will be available in Japan on Saturday December 17th, 2022. Preorders are already available from select retailers such as Amazon Japan.

Ayumi Hamasaki: No way to say (2003.11.06)

Japanese pop music is rich in seasonal songs: when spring rolls around, artists clamor to release their best new-beginnings tracks, like, say, Perfume's "ONE ROOM DISCO," a song about kids moving all their junk into tiny dorm rooms when the new school year starts. In the summer, everyone jumps into swimsuits and drops their best upbeat, high-energy, beach-weather jams, like Kumi Koda's "LALALALALA." And when the temperature drops, bringing cooler, crisp air, and the snow begins to fall, the inevitable deluge of ballads begins.

As the reigning J-pop queen of her time, Ayumi Hamasaki is no stranger to the practice, and released several of her own seasonal-appropriate hits, including a number of ballads and slower-tempo tracks in the wintertime, like "M," "Voyage," "CAROLS," "HEAVEN," and one of the first to be so obviously geared to the season, 2003's "No way to say." The single was composed by BOUNCEBACK, one of the songwriting teams Ayu had newly enlisted for many of the tracks off of the eventual Memorial address EP, and features soft acoustic guitars that crescendo into a nice, classic Ayu synth-ballad, similar to many of her slower songs released around the same time period, like those off of 2004's MY STORY. It's a really pretty song and has remained very likable despite its PV that features a creepy Santa Claus head.

The rest of the tracks, in keeping with the winter-ballad theme, feature acoustic, or "acoustic orchestra" versions of songs, except for one. Notably, we get one for the title track, and ones for the ballads "SEASONS," "Dearest," and "Voyage." Unfortunately, for one of the few times in Ayu's career, we get re-released tracks that had appeared previously on other albums, with the acoustic version of "SEASONS" being from 2001's ayu-mi-x III Acoustic Orchestra Version, and "Dearest" from 2002's ayu-mi-x 4 + selection Acoustic Orchestra. I can't imagine if you weren't already a huge fan of Ayu's acoustic orchestra line (or huge fan in general) that you wouldn't already own those albums, so re-hashing them is a definite missed opportunity that opts for empty filler. I can't remember if the "Voyage" one is also a re-hash, though I know it was later worked into a different acoustic version that can be found on 2013's A CLASSICAL, along with new versions of the other two. Finally, there is a rather forgettable house remix of "No way to say" to close things out. Ballads are notoriously rough territory for club remixes, and this one doesn't fare any better than the rest. Overall, this an A+ title track that's marred with some rather forgettable coupling tracks, and suffers from one of the cheapest tricks in the book by including old material.

Still, one thing to note is how great Ayu's voice still sounds at this stage. It doesn't surprise me that we don't get too much in the way of these stripped down, acoustic compilations as much anymore, since Ayu's voice doesn't sound as good as it once did, with her clean timbre and more restrained delivery. Finally, this includes the instrumental version of "No way to say," which is predictably terrific.

This is a very sweet, very classic Ayu ballad, one that she has performed dozens of times live for a good reason, usually in a cosmically large ballgown, and it does a good job of representing this period of her career. Ayu has released many winter, or winter-adjacent, ballads over the course of her legendary career, and this one still stands as one of the most well-known and beloved.

Hi! Sorry for bothering you. But I'm an artist and I'm drawing the sts of MC, well, my female version. And There's an outfit I don't know how to do it because I don't know Japanese. Is for the event of Kabukicho Night Festival. If it's not too much trouble, could you tell me what were the costumes events for and what the MC would have dressed up?

MC wore matching astronomer robes with Tsukuyomi for Kabukicho Night, so it would be like this 👇 I think the reasoning was that they were holding a event at Kabukicho Academy where the theme was that the school was a vampire's castle and everyone had specific roles. Tsukuyomi and MC were going to play the role of fortune tellers.

Here's a list of further outfits from other events that I could remember below the cut:

Summer Events: MC might wear a new swimsuit for every summer event.

-Summer School: swimsuit

-Seaside Fashionista: possibly another swimsuit and a new outfit? MC does get a swimsuit from Arachne in her SQ.

The mysterious, sleepy town of Gravity Falls, Oregon.

Only in Gravity Falls, Oregon can you find the big and deep ol' Lake Gravity Falls, home of The Gobblewonker, Gravity Falls' Nessie.

Only in Gravity Falls, Oregon can you find the Gravity Falls Pool, haunt of Mabel Pines' merboy crush Mermando.

And only in Gravity Falls, Oregon can you find the Gravity Falls Junior Diver Club, a school club of adventurous SCUBA diving youths headquartered at the Mystery Shack, Gravity Falls Elementary and High School and primarily the Gravity Falls Pool dedicated to SCUBA diving, exploring, discovering and solving the weird, be it cryptid or mystery, having underwater adventures and fighting the forces of darkness in the Weird Underwater Wonderland beneath the weird waters of Gravity Falls.

Now she set herself aside from the other Northwests, display altruistic traits when her parents tried to dissuade her otherwise, had a complete change of heart towards everyone and became a friend to the common folk of the town, including the Pines family.

A mellow, down-to-earth, fun-loving and slightly lethargic teen who is a part-time worker at the Mystery Shack, Wendy generally maintains a positive outlook, is almost always friendly, and is rarely seen being moody or cranky, her cool attitude being largely a cover for the stress her family causes her - stress her role as Junior Diver and Dive Instructor of the Gravity Falls Junior Diver Club can hopefully provide much-needed relief from. Ultimately, Wendy is just like any other ordinary teenager who wants to be an adult.

The Emergency Rescue SCUBA MerDiver Boy of the Gravity Falls Junior Diver Club. The mysterious loner of the Junior Diver Club due to not wanting others to know of his nature as a merman, he none the less enjoys having fun with those who know of his true form. An extremely polite and respectful individual with an easy sense of humor. (Told you these waters be weird.)

MerDiver Mermando wears a sleek, sporty front-zipper swimwear/wetsuit designed for merboys like him being the Emergency Rescue Diver carrying fresh full air tanks main and emergency sizes and backup copies of the airbreather Junior Divers' SCUBA gear just in case.

In the event of underwater emergencies, whether from out-of-air emergency to monster attack, Mermando swims to his airbreather dive buddies' rescue, especially Mabel Pines, grabbing from the surface and bringing them new full air tanks in both main and lightweight system sizes for the former. And Mermando also brings backup copies of Dipper's, Pacifica's, Mabel's and Wendy's SCUBA rigs in case they have ditched them in forementioned emergencies.

He is the dive buddy of his SCUBA crush Junior Diver Mabel Pines.

Diving with the native aquacryptids and AquaGreys of the Lake, exploring the Lake's underwater dungeons natural and extraterrestrial - like USOs, discovering treasure troves of weird artifacts, training yourself in out-of-air emergency simulations to prepare for the real thing... name it, the Gravity Falls SCUBA Club under the waters of Lake Gravity Falls can give you all.

Gakushu's favorite season is autumn 🍂

Nobody knew that this boy likes wind and rain 😯

When he goes to school he loves to watch the leaves fall to the ground

He also likes to kick the leaves that are on the ground

Ren and the other virtuosos even caught him doing that

"Shuu, why are you doing tha-" "YOU DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING ! AND STOP CALLING ME LIKE THAT !"

Gakushu has a lot of hobbies but if he had to choose it would definitely be playing instrument

Especially the guitar 🎸

His father offered him a guitar when he was 12

Gakushu played the guitar like EVERYDAY

His father even regretted for buying it but he thought Gakushu played the guitar very well

Gakushu doesn't really watch series nor animes he thinks they're waste of time

He only watch the news but it's really rare

Ren :

It's obvious that Ren's favorite season is spring 🌸

Blooming flowers and cherry tree, the weather, birds and animals emerging, his birthday, valentine's day... That's why he likes this season

Most of the dates that he plans are on this season

It's not surprising that Ren's favorite hobby is the yoga

He only does it when he's stressed out about something like exams

He once called the other virtuosos to do some yoga together before the exams

They all rejected this ask excepted Koyama

So he and Koyama end up doing yoga together every week

Ren really enjoy watching animes but he prefers to read mangas

Koyama's favorite season is definitely winter ❄️

He doesn't really know why he likes it tough...

If it's snowing, he would go out and would throw snowballs in random area

Surprisingly, Koyama is really good at drawing

Sometimes, he draw random things behind his notebook

Luckily he's sitting at the back of the class so the teacher can't see what he's doing

Ren is the only one who is aware of Koyama's talent

Koyama is a little like Gakushu

He doesn't really watch TV, he prefers to read books

He's really into fantasy and fantastic stories

Recently he had read Harry Potter and he's a big fan of it

He even made a list of which students will be in the Griffondor group

This guy's favorite season is arguably summer ☀️

The beach, holidays, parties, ice cream, girls in swimsuit, parties and more parties 🎉

He can't spend summer without doing a single party

It's also his favorite season because he can travel to other countries

Seo also likes to visits his old friends from LA

His friends really likes to make fun of his English accent

Seo's favorite hobby is singing

He adores to sing, but only if he's alone because he's really scared of people opinions

He sings more English song then Japanese one

When the virtuosos wanted to create a music band, he originally wanted to be the singer but you know Shuu decided to be the singer of the group

Obviously, Seo really likes series especially American ones

At first he wasn't a big fan of detective series but Araki showed him some good series about it and now he really enjoys them (everybody say thank you Araki)

Araki :

This guy doesn't really have a favorite season but he had to choose it would be spring or autumn

He thinks that summer is too hot and winter too cold so that's why he hates these two seasons

Araki's favorite hobby is listening to podcasts about police investigations

He doesn't really have a reason for liking it but he just thinks these investigations are interesting

He also have a blog where he's talking about criminals and other stuff

He literally wrote a whole article about an old police investigation for the school newspaper and eventually nobody read it

Except the virtuosos, they only read it to make him happy

I think Araki doesn't like a type of media more than another one, he just watches everything that sounds cool to him !

Japan

Japan was great for 9 out of 12 days. Such an amazing place. So much stuff the kids love. The highlight was def staying at my friends farmstay. She makes the most amazing food all from local sources. Brought home two bags of rice that her French husband farms. So delicious. We saw so much in such a short period of time. I think we had a good mixture of kid things and culture sights. On our fourth shrine Rebel said "not this place, again" HA HA! The girls are great and trying new foods. They were easy peasy on the 14hr + flights. Japanese often use Onsen - traditional hot springs that are split by sex and don't allow swimsuits. Wasn't sure how the girls would feel about it but they loved it. They called them naked pools. :)

Unluckily, we dealt with two illnesses and one lost purse. On Day 1 rebel threw up while we were waiting for the elevator to go out. Then spent the whole day in the room throwing up every teaspoon of water she would drink. I was getting nervous knowing we don't speak the language and wouldn't know the system for calling in an emergency. I talked to an American doctor - via the blueberry pediatrics system. They obviously couldn't prescribe anything in Japan but she calmed my fears. With nursing school I know just enough to worry about a few emergency situations that involve throwing up bile. As she wasn't in stomach pain I knew it was probably just gastroenteritis but felt better having a doctor tell me. The hotel found an English speaking ped. Total bill for visit and meds = $50. If were Japanese it would have been roughly $10. Immediately after taking meds she started getting better/keeping things down. Four days later my poor Mom came down with the same thing. Once again a different hotel helped us find a doctor. None could speak English so I used google translate. No way my mom could have left being near a bathroom and they wouldn't give her meds unless she came in. So I pretended I was the sick one. In more bad luck for my poor mom, the day before she left her purse on the bullet train. It had all forms of ID including her passport. This is incredibly unlike her. She is by far the most responsible person I know. Its much more something i would do. She was a nervous wreck. She's starting chemo two days after we get back so was worried about getting stuck, etc. Luckily, the Japanese are the most honest people on the planet - and someone turned it in. Thank God. She felt so horrible about it. Anyway, all things that are risks of traveling. I'm glad they were in the beginning/middle of the trip. By the time we left it felt like a million years ago. I'm also so glad my Mom came. So lucky to have a mom who is so helpful and always up for an adventure. At 70 its pretty impressive.

Jet lag coming back has been bad for me. Girls are fine after one night of waking up at 4am. They fall asleep a little earlier and are up around 6am - which is not bad.

In this universe, Komaru is still best friends with Toko, as well as Genocide Jack. They met on a field trip to Towa City (Summer Camp, Prologue) + (UTDP, Toko's Sports Festival 1 Japanese vers) + others

This AU Towa City field trip seems to still have involved pretty much all the characters from UDG, like Byakuya, the Warriors of Hope, Hiroko Hagakure, and even Shirokuma (Summer Camp, Prologue)

Komaru mistakes Impostor for the real Byakuya at first, thinking he got a haircut (Summer Camp, Prologue)

Summer Camp is Komaru's first "trip" with Toko, and she's hella excited about it, though Toko is still getting used to having a friend (Summer Camp, Toko & Komaru) + (Summer Camp, With Swimsuits)
