Time for some recent art! This is a fanart piece of team RWBY enjoying a small takoyaki party in a Japanese kotatsu. I love the kotatsu! Such a wonderful invention! It is part heater, part table, part bed!

I started this piece last year, but never got a chance to finish it because of remodeling and life events. I finished it just last month, pushing myself to just “get it done.” Honestly, I wish I had not had this urge to just finish it--but I did, and now it is done. I arranged this piece to reflect the things that I avoid: rooms and multiple people. Two huge challenges in one piece is a great way to wear you out--remember that people :)

But I AM happy with it. I do like the feeling that comes off from it, I like the colors, and I like that I could do it. It has a lot of things I like, and a lot of things I will do better next time on. This is a good base for me to refer to on many points.
