that's not weird at all! I've always said this or rather I feel like I always used to say it here on Tumblr when I used to be much more open with just saying things here but I've always wanted my blogs or socmed sites to be an environment where we can inspire each other to create and improve for the sake of creating and indulging ourselves with what we make!

I love the feeling of going to someone's blog and being like "oh! I wanna try drawing like that!" and it's a huge honor to know that someone out there thinks the same way abt the stuff I make ngl

Vocaloids are basically vocal synthesis programs, like- the music version of text-to-speech software! Composers and lyricists can use them to test songs out if they don't want to hire singers or at least that's how I remember them being advertised.

Pre-Miku era in like. iirc 2006 or 2008? Sometime around that year? Vocaloid software was marketed as simply that- software, but when the Hatsune Miku program came out with a mascot that caught people's attention (Kaito and Meiko came out to less fanfare earlier on) the practice of putting faces to voices became like. a marketing strategy. People made songs with Hatsune Miku AUs using her voice and iconic teal pigtail design etc etc... it honestly felt like a really big collaborative project back when it exploded in like 2009-2011

Now there's a ton of vocaloids and you can even make one with your own voice (called UTAUs or Utauloids bc you usually use the UTAU program to make them)!

Re: ffxiv clothes, Eorzea Collection is a good resource, search by filter. It will let you see role clothes from level ranges, super helpful when you want to see whats available!
