💯 real video of the @SpaceX Inspiration4 launch is made of multiple telescope tracking shots, created by the talented MARS Scientific group — perfectly showcasing what a #Falcon9 rocket launch looks like after sunset.
The flight, dubbed "Inspiration4," was a privately chartered spaceflight by billionaire Jared Isaacman, which launched on 15 September 2021.
It became the first crewed orbital mission with no professional astronauts on board.
Aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule dubbed Resilience, Isaacman — a self-described space geek who has accrued more than 6,000 hours piloting various aircraft — was the commander of the flight.
Joining him were physician assistant Hayley Arcenaux, data engineer Chris Sembroski, and geoscientist and science communication specialist Sian Proctor.  Resilience and its four occupants circled Earth for three days, splashing down off the Florida coast on September 18.
The primary purposes of Inspiration4, according to the mission's official website, were to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, and to begin "a new era for human spaceflight and exploration."

VIDEO: MiG-29 flight demonstration in Oshkosh 2022
Diego Alves By Diego Alves 08/03/2022 - 8:30 pm in Sports, EAA AirVenture, Demonstration Squadrons
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 is a plane of legendary status. The aircraft entered service with the then Soviet Union in the early 1980s, replacing the old MiG-23. At that time, the MiG-29 was used as an aircraft of air superiority and ground attack.
The design of the MiG-29, like Sukhoi's Su-27 Flanker, began in the late 1960s, when the Soviet Union became aware of the existence of the United States Air Force's 'FX' program, which was supposed to culminate in the production of the F-15 Eagle.
In the video below, Jared "Rook" Isaacman performs a brief demonstration of his privately owned MiG-29 Fulcrum before leaving during Sunday's air show at the EAA AirVenture 2022 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This MiG previously served in the Ukrainian Air Force, but was demilitarized and transferred to civilian hands more than ten years ago.
youtube
Rook brought his MiG-29 and several other spectacular jets to Oshkosh to promote his Polaris Program, which is an unprecedented effort to quickly advance human spaceflight capabilities, while continuing to raise funds and raise awareness of important causes here on Earth. Learn more HERE.

Babes, Taylor definitely used her private jet even more in 2023, flying to her tour cities and then flying to nyc every weekend and then flying to fuck travis every other weekend. Saying "that data was from 2022" is not helpful. It's ok to criticize people you like. Taylor isn't perfect. She does shitty things sometimes. Very online swifties will attack you for saying so, but that doesn't make it untrue.
I'm not disagreeing with u at all. She needs to use it less. But I couldn't find good recent data, so ofc I had to go with 2022. And it still holds that at least 50 people will have flown more private jet miles than her. I'm not excusing her, I just want other people to get their facts right, and I want less prominent billionaires to be more scrutinized, like Jared Isaacman and his fighter jets (insane emissions) or some of these mega yacht ppl.
But yeah, I literally am criticising her, I just want it in perspective. She needs to cut her usage, and she needs to schedule in a way to achieve that. She should stop letting friends and family use it if she's not also going, and she should try to fill all the seats too.

[ad_1] Billionaire Jared Isaacman it seems that hasn't gotten sufficient of house with closing yr's Inpiration4 undertaking. He is agreed to underwrite 3 extra SpaceX flights – together with the 1st crewed Starship undertaking – below the banner of the "Polaris Program."Isaacman, who funded and commanded the Inspiration4 undertaking aboard a changed SpaceX Dragon Staff pill, is ready to command the 1st of 3 missions dubbed "Polaris First light."This preliminary undertaking is ready to incorporate the first-ever personal spacewalk via a minimum of two Polaris First light group, in keeping with our colleagues over at Space, and could also be aiming to damage the document for best orbital altitude. "On Polaris First light, we undertaking to succeed in the best Earth orbit ever flown," Isaacman mentioned.Lately, the document for best Earth orbit ever completed via people is held via Gemini 11 astronauts Charles Conrad and Richard Gordon, who orbited Earth at a peak of 853 miles/1,373 kilometers in 1966.The Polaris First light group has already been named, and comprises Isaacman; pilot Scott "Kidd" Poteet, a retired U.S. Air Pressure lieutenant colonel who used to be Inspiration4's undertaking director; undertaking specialist Sarah Gillis who oversees the astronaut coaching program for SpaceX; and clinical officer Anna Menon, a SpaceX group operations supervisor. The impending spacewalk no doubt pushes the protection envelope for civilian house operations. In most cases, spacewalks are carried out via seasoned astronauts who from time to time teach for years for such endeavors. Isaacman's Polaris First light spacewalkers (Isaacman will virtually no doubt be certainly one of them) could have rather less than a yr to organize.Granted, they are not more likely to spend a number of hours out of doors the World House Station making maintenance, however it's rarely a riskless job. What is extra, the Dragon pill does not have an airlock, so all the pill should be depressurized throughout the spacewalk.SpaceX additionally has to up its sport for the undertaking, since it is present power fits aren't qualified for operations within the arduous vacuum of outer house, and so new fits will want to be designed for the aim.(Symbol credit score: Polaris Program/John Kraus)Research: You'll't get to house with out cashWhilst it is simple to take a look at Polaris First light as simply the most recent installment of the Billionaire House Race (and that is the reason no longer solely faulty), the 1st movers of any commercialization effort are all the time going to be the individuals who have the cash to fund these kind of efforts. And whilst SpaceX has finished an admirable activity of decreasing the price of spaceflight, it nonetheless is not reasonable via any stretch. For higher or for worse, that is what the commercialization of house goes to seem like for now. It'll most probably be a long time sooner than house turns into available to the remainder of us, if ever, but when that point ever does arrive, that is a technique that lets conceivably get there. Whether or not that is the most efficient use of humanity's finite assets is any other query, however it is Isaacman's cash, and also you truthfully can not blame the fellow for in need of to return up if given the danger. Elon Musk says the Mars rocket Starship is'ready for launch.'
Tumblr media
The entrepreneur Elon Musk has said that SpaceX's launch site in Texas is ready to launch his deep space rocket Starship. The orbital test flight of the rocket has been scheduled for Monday, April 17, but SpaceX can only fly if a launch licence is approved by then. The Starship is the world's most powerful rocket, and it will be used to transport humans to the Moon and, eventually, Mars. Mr Musk tweeted on Sunday "Starship is ready for launch. Awaiting regulatory approval" It is a two-stage rocket system consisting of a booster (the Super Heavy launch vehicle) and a Starship spacecraft. It will have a thrust capacity of 3,991 tonnes, which is 15% greater than Nasa's Apollo Moon rocket Saturn V. Nasa has hired SpaceX to develop the Starship Human Landing System, which will allow astronauts to land on the Moon as part of the US space agency's Artemis programme. Mr Musk has already sold seats on the Starship, including to Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa, who plans to take eight artists on the first crewed flight to the Moon as part of his dearMoon programme. Jared Isaacman, an American billionaire, is also collaborating with SpaceX through his Polaris programme, a series of privately-led space missions. The Polaris III mission, the Starship rocket's first crewed flight, will be led by Mr. Isaacman as commander. But before operations can start, SpaceX must demonstrate that Starship can enter orbit safely. The company's first step in making Starship missions a reality would be to successfully complete this test trip in orbit. Long-term development of the rocket by SpaceX has seen major advancements in the last year that have contributed to a successful orbital test flight. Prior to conducting an orbital test flight, SpaceX successfully conducted a critical fueling test of the deep-space rocket on January 24. There were 4.6 million tonnes of fuel placed onto the starship. The rocket will launch from Boca Chica, Texas' Starbase as part of the test mission, and the booster will separate from the spaceship at 170 seconds into the flight. After performing a partial return, the booster will touch down in the Gulf of Mexico around 32 kilometres from the coast. The orbiting Starship will keep circling the Florida Straits. Before executing a powered, targeted, soft-ocean landing around 100 kilometres off the northwestern shore of the Hawaiian island of Kauai, it will enter orbit. Read the full article
