For the ship and setting ask I have two bc I just discovered you do Jagnus - but I can't let the Jercy go. So - Jercy with Roman!Percy and Greek! Jason and Jagnus with Prince!Magnus pls ❤️

Roman!Percy/Greek!Jason:

Greek Jason and Annabeth are basically siblings, really. From having been on the run with Thalia and Luke to being at camp without Thalia. They’d be inseparable and a really great team, co-leaders of camp, especially after Luke betrays camp.

Nico and Jason would have become friends. Both their older sisters leaving them to join the hunt. Maybe Jason wouldn’t have promised Nico that he would keep Bianca safe, maybe - as a protective younger brother himself - he would have allowed Nico to tag along, because he would have not been deterred either. I don’t know if Bianca still died, or if she left and went with the hunt, but either way, Nico stays back at Camp Half-Blood with Jason, with whom he becomes friends.

Sally would be living in New Rome. Gabe would have never entered their life. They’d have moved to New Rome when Percy was six and started manifesting powers.

Percy’d be praetor, with Reyna. He definitely dated Reyna for a while. That’s a thing that happened for Roman Percy. He’d... be more serious. I’d like for him to take on some wolf-characteristics from being trained by Lupa - growling and snarling. I also imagine Percy with more visible scars than his Greek self. Wolf claw scratches.

Percy would be wary of the Greeks when he regains his memories after his quest with Piper and Leo. Him and Annabeth would have a serious rivalry going on, both headstrong and Annabeth missing her little brother.

+1: But sparks definitely fly between Percy and Jason. I think Roman Percy would be more daring, more flirtatious. Flustering Jason. They kiss the first time they brew together their storm and start long-distance dating after the war.

Prince!Magnus/Jace:

Jace would be a royal knight of a neighboring country, King Valentine trying to assassinate the royal family and take over himself. So Jace is sent to kill the gorgeous prince.

But Magnus is still his charming self. He finds the young knight in need of shelter and help and offers it and makes his assassin fall for him.

The thing is, Magnus isn’t happy. He doesn’t like Edom, he doesn’t like his father. He dreams of freedom. Much like Jace does.

The two would run away together, to another kingdom, to live together, in peace. The kingdom ruled by Queen Imogen.

Where they find out Jace is actually also a prince and hey, Magnus is gonna get to be king after all... by marrying another future king!

for the shippy thing: Willercy (you're literally one of the two people to ever write about this and I love it) and Apollo/Percy (which is one of the most shipped gods with Percy? I'm not counting Artemis bc blergh) thank you for writing not canon pairs - not a lot of people do that in this fandom, I wish it was more like the HP in this part? Like they do have non-canon ships larger sometimes than canon ones... So you're a blessing to this fandom ❤️

Mh, so, overall, I’d say Alabaster/Ethan, because E was one of the first characters I grew fond of and Al has the bonus of being the son of my favorite goddess! Those two and the potential they carry - exploring the rebellion, or giving Nico some non-Seven friends.

Though I do also love Will and Jake a lot and The Lost Hero really, really sold it to me a lot, but this one, Al and E win!

38. How do you feel about genderbending? De-aging? Animalizing?

One-sided genderbending is just the hardest no for me because I’m a fandom old from days long past where gay relationships were seen as “icky” so one part was just genderbent to make gay ships acceptable and straight. And that’s an aftertaste that one-sided genderbending will always have when the result oh-so happens to be a guy and a gal.

I think there’s a lot of fun in an all around genderbend, like there’s a lot of official One Piece art, and obviously also of fanarts, that take all of the characters and genderbends them and it’s visually fun and it’s also fun to think about how that would impact canon.

Deaging... Mh. Temporarily it can be a lot of fun, if someone has to take care of a parent/friend/sibling/lover who is suddenly five years old, whiny and clingy.

I’m unsure what animalizing is? Like catboys and catgirls? That kind of thing? I’m a big of that! But that also comes from the anime background, I guess. Cat and god characteristics in characters are very common there. Also, on a smaller scale, I suppose I am animalizing the characters by always assigning them puppy/kitten/fox/bunny nicknames. I like that. A lot. ^-^
