Evan grunted as he was thrown out of the bar by the bouncer. His cheek scraped across the sidewalk and he grimaced, glaring back at the large man.
“Come back when you got a real ID, kid!” The bouncer hissed at him before slamming the door shut.
Evan rolled his eyes and spat at the closed door. “I’m twenty, dipshit! No one would have cared!” He shouted to no one. The door was already closed and the loud booming of the club certainly drowned him out. He huffed and shakily stood up, dusting off his clothes as he felt his face burn with embarrassment. “Stupid fucking bouncer, thought Jaxon got the ID right…”
“It was best that he didn't get it right.” A deep voice made him jump and whirl around instantly. His panic quickly turned to annoyance and Evan rolled his eyes.
“John! Don’t fucking scare me like that, man!” Evan shouted at him. John merely shrugged and walked closer to Evan, cigarette dangling from his mouth. “And you’re one to talk about bad substances when you’re smoking right now!”
“Unlike you, it’s legal for me.” John retorted back. Evan sputtered at the light smirk on his face and punched John in the shoulder.
“Well, fuck off! It ain’t my fault you’re like a million years old. And I’m only a few months away, no one would have cared!” John hissed back.
“I’m not “a million” years old,” John said with air quotes. “And besides, you should do as I say. Not as I do.”
Evan scoffed. “Yeah, well, sixty-nine is still old.” Evan snickered at the harsh glare that earned him from the taller man.
“I’m fourty-three, you fucking-”
“Don’t care!” Evan shouted, smacking the cigarette out of John’s mouth and running off before he could react. “See ya at the bookstore!”
Evan cackled as he heard John’s roar of “EVAN!” as he ran down the street, swiftly making a turn around the corner. Evan was fast, but John was faster. He knew that he would be caught up with eventually.
As if he could see the future, he felt something grab the back of his sweater and yank him backward into a hard chest. He looked up to see an incredibly annoyed John glaring down at him. Evan merely stuck out his tongue at him and flicked up at his nose.
“Evan!” John grumbled and rubbed his nose as Evan playfully slipped out of his grasp. “You made me waste a perfectly good cigarette.”
“But I thought smoking was bad for you! You should listen to your elders, young man!” Evan asked in an innocent tone, trying to look as pure as possible. John’s deadpan expression made it hard to drop the act and laugh out loud, literally slapping his knee with how amused he was. “Ahaha, your face man!”
John only grumbled and pulled out another cigarette to smoke. “Yes, I’m sure it’s amusing. It’s not my fault your birth defect makes you look like an old man.”
Now it was Evan’s turn to glare and for John to snicker. “Oy! I ain’t an old man!” Evan snapped back. “The white hair makes me look distinguished!”
“Yeah, and like an old man.” John chuckled back, earning a slight punch from Evan once again.
“Hey, if I look like an old man, I guess we got something in common.” Evan said to him.
“Well it certainly isn’t good looks.” John snorted as Evan gasped in mock offensiveness.
“How dare!”
The two of them kept ribbing each other the entire way home.
~~~
Evan yawned as he waited for John to unlock the back door. “Hurry up, I’m about to pass out over here.” He demanded as John fiddled with the keys.
“Well maybe if you didn’t go out at one in the morning, you wouldn’t feel so tired.” John countered, finally unlocking the door. Evan shoved himself past John and let out a loud sigh of relief.
“I can do what I want, I’m an adult!” Evan said with disdain, taking off his coat and dumping it onto the floor. “Besides, you're not my dad, jackass.”
Evan rushed up the stairs of the small bookstore before John could get a word in. The man only sighed and reached down to pick up Evan’s coat.
~~~
Evan could hear John walking up the attic stairs and didn’t turn around from his spot on his bed to greet him, staring stubbornly at the wall. John said nothing, but Evan could feel the guilt rising to his chest again. He had tried to shove it down earlier that night to no avail. He heard the slight clink of a glass and a plate on his nightstand before John started to walk away.
He shot up from the cot, looking at John’s back. “John, wait.” Evan called out to him. John stopped and glared back at Evan who cringed. He clearly wasn’t happy. “Look, I, I wanted to apologize.”
John snorted. “For calling me a jackass or being rude when I’m looking out for you?” He asked drily.
“Both.” Evan told him. John rolled his eyes, but Evan kept going. “You’ve been outstanding to me in the past few months and I know I shouldn’t be rude to someone who’s letting me stay at their place rent free. The least I can do is not do drugs.” Evan let out an anxious laugh before he clamped his mouth shut when John turned around.
His bright hazel eyes stared into Evan’s soul, making him squirm in his sheets. John stared for a bit longer than Evan would have liked before sighing loudly. “I know that you are an adult, Evan and legally you can do as you wish. But I would prefer it if you didn’t make the same poor choices most people I know make. That’s all I want.”
“I, I know.” Evan sighed, looking down at his bedsheets. “I’m trying my best.” Ugh, of course Evan just had to be Evan again. John was a bit of a weirdo but he just wanted to see Evan get back on his feet and probably get out of his damn attic, considering he hadn’t paid a dime in rent since he arrived. All he wanted to do was to help him not fuck up his body and this is how Evan repaid him? Swear at him and insult him in his own house? Typical.
He was slightly shocked when he felt a blanket be unceremoniously dumped onto his head. He sputtered for a second before shoving the blanket off his face to look up at John, who had apparently dug into one of the boxes in the attic and dug out an old, but soft blanket for Evan to use.
“Don’t worry about it too much.” John told him, ruffling up his messy white hair which earned him a pout. “You’re trying, and that’s what matters.” He pointed to the plate and glass on the nightstand. “Now eat your dinner and get some sleep. You don’t want to be late for that wonderful job of yours.”
Evan snorted as he watched John leave the attic and turn off the ceiling light behind him. “As if working at Home Depot is any wondrous conquest.” He looked at the plate of food while adjusting the blanket around him and he couldn’t help but smile. Shrimp with garlic and parmesan sauce with a glass of chocolate milk. His favorite combination. He quickly wolfed down the hearty meal, washing it down with chocolate milk in between bites. “John seriously needs to stop adding so much salt to his dishes,” he thought to himself as he drank down the cold treat.
He was asleep with a full belly not soon after.
~~~
Jonathan didn’t want to act so hastily, but he knew he had to, just this once. Evan was becoming a problem.
He wasn’t a bother of course, no no no. Anything but. But his behavior and attitude were starting to become…intolerable, to say the least. Of course, all children his age had unpleasant attitudes and undesirable behaviors. But tonight was the last straw. Going out so late at night, with a fake ID?! Oh no, just unacceptable behavior. Jonathan refused to stand for it.
And he wouldn’t. He took a look around his empty room once more before grabbing his suitcase and walking down the stairs to his driveway. His car, already incredibly overpacked with what some might say are unnecessary items (was he SUPPOSED to leave his prized nesting dolls here at this dump? Of course not!) hardly had enough space to fill his suitcase in the front seat, but he managed to squeeze it in. He took one last look at the car, mentally going over his list of things in his mind before he walked over to the back of it and popped the trunk open, staring down at the soft blanket and pillow and the small arrangement of plush toys inside.
Now, for one last thing.
Jonathan could feel his heart hammering in his chest the entire time he walked up the stairs. Mainly out of worry. He only hoped he put enough drugs in Evan’s food to put him to sleep for the trip but not too much so he wouldn't eat it all. He hated salty foods.
His worries instantly melted away when he saw Evan asleep on his cot, arm hanging over the side of the small bed as he drooled onto his pillow. Jonathan wiped away the saliva with a gloved hand before reaching down to carry him bridal style down the stairs, which was a small challenge considering the opening to the attic was so small.
He eventually got back to the car and gently placed his boy inside of the trunk of the car, covering him up with the blanket inside. He would have put him in the back seat, he really would have, but there was already too much stuff in the back seat for Evan to fit. Besides, he knew from experience that the trunk was usually better. He couldn’t escape from it as easily. And he had a small oxygen tank so he could breathe back there, so it was perfectly safe.
Just as he was tucking in the blanket into Evan’s sides, he heard his boy murmur slightly under his breath, his eyelids fluttering. Jonathan was quick to stroke his boy's forehead and whisper sweet nothings to him to make him settle down again.
“Shh, it’s alright, Father’s right here, just go back to bed, son. You’re safe.” He said, almost smiling as he saw Evan sigh loudly and settle back down into dreamworld. With any luck, Evan would be asleep the entire trip as well as when he unpacked. But he had a plan in case that happened.
With that, he grabbed the oxygen tank in the far corner of the trunk, strapped the mask onto Evan’s face, and once he made sure the air flow was sufficiently steady, he slammed the trunk shut, locked it, and went to the front seat to finally start driving.
It was time to go home.
Clubs
On Jaxon's first day back on Night Raven College, he was given a set of rules to follow.
Don't interact with any Heartslabyul students
Don't interact with any of the housewardens apart from his own
he has to put effort into all his classes
do not threaten any students
do not fight any students
no leaving campus
no using his unique magic on others
They were simple rules, but even he was unsure how well he would be able to follow them. The first week he came back to the school was going to be a "trial run" to see how well he adjusted and if there were any incidents. During that first week, he was not allowed to participate in extra activities like any school events going on or join any of the school clubs.
But once that first week was over, Jaxon knew what club he wanted to join. So, he had signed himself up for the pop music club.
Music was one of the few things Jaxon felt he could enjoy. It was one of the few things he learned to enjoy during his time away. It was his escape from everything. Music often made him feel more understood, and it was easier to explain feelings through music. So he was actually looking forward to being able to play his music at the school, even if it was around others.
But the day he was allowed to attend clubs, he was called to the headmages office.
"Jaxon, you can't attend the pop music club."
"What? What do you mean?"
"The pop music club has both a Heartslabyul student and a housewarden. You'll have to choose a different club."
"That's stupid. All the clubs have either a Heartslabyul student or a housewarden."
"Not all of them. You could join the mountain lovers club. The only student in that one is a vice housewarden for Octavinelle."
"So I only have one option?"
"It's the only option that follows your rules."
"You're not even going to let me do the one thing I want to do at this school? I might as well not be in any club at all."
"Nonsense. It's required that each student attend a club."
"Clearly you have no problem making exceptions. If I'm restricted from doing most things anyway, might as well restrict me from doing anything at this school."
"We have to do this because you're too aggressive around others. You should be grateful for the opportunity to even come back. Considering your past performance at your last school, Night Raven College may be the only one that accepts you at this point."
His father was somehow always able to get on Jaxon's nerves more than anybody else. Perhaps it was because he knew his father was right, and that bothered him more.
Jaxon didn't respond to his father's words, and instead stormed out of the office. After slamming the door to the office, he quickly made his way through the halls.
While most seemed to sense his anger and avoided him, Epel was unlucky enough to run into him as he rounded a corner.
Epel staggered back slightly after running into the much taller student, and froze upon seeing who it was. Without even thinking about it, Jaxon glared at Epel and activated his unique magic.
Thr small boy tensed up immediately, and while his instincts were telling him to fight or run, Epel didn't want to do either.
"Back off pipsqueak."
Without another word, Jaxon continued his furious walk through the halls until he made it outside where he could be alone.
YOUR ARM!?
Akuji sat as her mom fixed her prosthetic arm, Ace had hit it with a sharp rock and the arm had already had a crack in it so it made it worse. Karrigan sent Sora Deuce’s younger sister to get some wax to help fix the arm.
Karrigan. Akuji i hope i can fix this. Are you sure you don’t want the robot arm i made you?
 Akuji. Yes mom.
Sora came back with the wax than left, she had to be with Sebek he asked her to help him study.  Karrigan did her job and helped Akuji put the arm on and she left to get dinner ready. But Ace and Deuce came in arguing about something stupid and Grim was asleep up stars.
Akuji. What are you two fighting about know?!
The two spoke at the same time when Jaxon came in to return a book about other worlds magic that Karrigan let him read.  But Ace pulled on Akuji’s right arm her fake on a pulled and her arm just popped off this caused Ace and Deuce to scream and Jaxon felt the urge to laugh at the two.
Ace. YOUR ARM IS FAKE!?!!?
Akuji. Oh ya that’s what i was meaning to tell you guys.
Jaxon lost it he laughed at the Adeuce duo’s faces as the lost of color and shock.
Jaxon fix himself when he stopped laughing and put the book down on the table then left
@ryker-writes
Jaxon had to let it out when he saw the two boys looks on their face.
So the verdict is "guilty"
Tumblr media
No way Fuyuki actually has feelings for someone. Actually…?
Jaxon belongs to @ryker-writes
“No…no, no, no, NO!” Fuyuki paces around in a circle.
He was currently in Ramshackle dorm with Grim and Jaxon who was sitting on the couch tuning his guitar.
“What’s all the yapping for Fuyuki!?”
“Hm. As much as I hate to, I agree. What’s wrong?”
Fuyuki plops down between the two, putting his face in his hands as he bent his back
“No…it’s embarrassing….”
“You keep saying no, I’d rather hear your explanation than this crap.”
Fuyuki sits up and looks at Jaxon with an unappreciated glare as Jaxon sneaks a shit eating grin at him.
“Fine.” He huffed out before pulling his knees towards his chest.
Grim flies over and sits on Jaxon’s head as they both look at the dark haired
“So…say you have a friend. He’s kind, little goofy, sweet, still a good leader, a bit naive but still…just knows you like nobody else does. He knows how you feel and he’s concerned about you…despite yourself being a “weirdo” or a “monster”.” Fuyuki uses his hands to show air quotes.
Jaxon’s breath slightly hitches at the word “monster” before his eyes widen as the sudden movement when Fuyuki turns his body towards them
“I think he cursed me! Oh my gosh—I mean seven! Damn I forget this world doesn’t have a god sometimes!”
“Cursed? Ya seem fine to me!” Grim exclaims
“No! H-he’s been making me feel…weird! Like weird weird!”
“Define ‘weird’.”
“When he laughs…I feel like I’m having a heart attack. When he smiles at me, I feel like I have a fever. Even when he touches me like even small hugs or accidental hand touches, my hands become sweaty and I feel like my stomach is going to blow up. That type of weird! But no… he’d never do that! Right? Right?!”
“You’re spiraling, slow down or I’ll throw water at you.”
Fuyuki promptly shuts up after his rant, embarrassed.
“Eh? That sounds like what Deuce was saying about—“
“You aren’t cursed with anything. You have a crush.”
Did Fuyuki…hear that right…?
A crush?!
No way! Last time he had a crush was in middle school and that relationship didn’t last very long—
Even so! A crush on him? Somebody who probably wouldn’t even like him?! Oh no
“Crush…?”
“Ooh! Ooh! Who do you got the hots for!?”
“Shut up Grim! There’s n-no way!” The usually stone faced boy breaks out in a blush
“There is. You can’t really deny it. It’s written all over you.”
Fuyuki almost gasps a breath out while he hides his face. Is…is it really?
“You’ve fallen head over heels or something for this guy.”
He thinks for a second before laying his back into the couch again.
“…maybe I do.”
Jaxon strums his guitar while Grim laughs at his pink face.
“…If I admit I have a crush then will you finally admit you have the hots for the Heartslabyul housewar—“
Jaxon moves and covers Fuyuki’s stupid Cheshire like grin
“Shut up. Shut up. Shut the hell up.”
“You’re blu’sibg!” He manages to muffle out
“SHUT THE HELL UP!”
“Ooh! Jaxon has a crush too?!”
“BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!”
Yeah. Fuyuki likes him.
But…does he like him back?
Chapter 24
Me: eye roll emoji
Please tell me she didn’t type out “eye roll emoji”.
Me: double eye roll emoji
*feral screaming*
Me: Triple eye roll emoji
ENOUGH. I’M ALREADY DEAD.
Me: I don’t know. I’m just waking up. My uncle must have decided I don’t have to go to class again today.
Exactly how many freaking days off is she going to have? Surely at some point, the author will run out of excuses.
…Right?
Oh my God. OmigodOmigodOmigod. Oh. My. God.
It’s been a while since I’ve proposed a book-themed drinking game, but…
New drinking game! Take a shot whenever a character “Ohmigod”s.
*This is a joke. Please do not do this.
Jaxon: I don’t think we’re there yet, but I’m sure you’ll let me know when we are
Way. Right. Answer
Chapter 24 summary: Grace wakes up last the next morning, and decides that her uncle must have allowed her yet another day off because of her ankle.
She has a bunch of texts from somebody who eventually identifies himself as Jaxon. He wants to know how her ankle is doing, but she refuses to answer until he plays along with one of her jokes. After she delivers the punchline, he offers up a joke of his own. She says that she still hurts some, but then excuses herself to use the restroom and take some pain meds.
When she gets back to her phone, Jaxon doesn’t reply. After a moment, somebody knocks on the door. It’s some random lady who has brought some food for Grace. Jaxon texts to say that he’d been taking a test, but that he also arranged for food to be sent up to her. He asks if she likes it, and she agrees. She asks him what kind of food he likes, but he’s like “THAT DIALOGUE IS BLOCKED. TO UNLOCK, GAIN MORE FRIENDSHIP POINTS.” Lol I wish he’d said that, rather than the vague, emo BS he said instead.
Chapter 25
“Oh my God! It was Jaxon! He talked Chef Janie into making you waffles. I didn’t even know that was possible—she’s really tough.”
She says this like she’s the only person in the school who cares that Grace has been through hell the past couple of months.
Janie might be “tough”, but she probably feels bad about Grace’s situation.
“Twilight? He sent me a copy of Twilight?”
Really? ARE WE REALLY DOING THIS?!
“If you don’t kiss that boy soon, I’m going to disown you.”
IT’S BEEN FOUR DAYS.
I stare after him, the scrolled-up piece of paper he gave me still in my hand. And wonder how on earth I’m going to keep this beautiful, broken boy from cracking my already battered heart wide open.
Chapter 25 summary: The first part of the chapter is nothing but Grace and Jaxon exchanging texts, and talking about their likes and dislikes. Before I can write the entire chapter off, however, Macy comes in during her lunch break.
She’s surprised that there are waffles there, and says that they only have them on Thursdays. And that they hardly ever have whipped cream. Grace admits that Jaxon ordered them brought up to her, which makes Macy squeal. There’s a lot of back and forth about how Grace should totally, like you know, go for it. I’m really, REALLY over how much padding is in this stupid book. Anyway, some random lady shows up, and Jaxon had sent her another delivery; this one of a copy of Twilight. UGH. CAN WE NOT.
Jaxon shows up after Macy leaves. Grace tells him some more bad jokes, and says that she inherited the trait from her mom, along with several physical features. He tells her that she’d better rest up so that he can take her to his favorite spot on campus tomorrow, and then leaves.
Chapter 26
Jaxon Vega just asked to sit next to me. In front of everyone. It really is a brave new world.
Chapter 26 summary: Looks like the author finally ran out of excuses, and Grace is finally starting in on her classes. Macy helps her put on the school uniform… well, she helps her to do the uniform tie.
Finn swings by to drop off Grace’s school schedule. Why all of that hadn’t been settled days ago is beyond me, but sure. Let’s give her the schedule like an hour before the first period. Finn stays to check up on his daughter, much to Macy’s mortification. Typical parent stuff, I suppose. It makes Grace kind of sad, but she tries to put on a brave face.
Macy and Grace go down some back stairs, and Grace sees more of the school. In the cafeteria, everything is all decked out for Halloween, which is like… a day or two away??? Or is it today? I can’t keep track. Anyway, it’s Halloween. Grace says her dad never liked halloween, but he’d always promised to tell her why “when she was older”. Now she’ll never know. (Early guess: daddy dearest knew about the vamps, too.)
Macy makes her sit down by herself while she goes to get Grace some breakfast. When she comes back with the food, the two of them talk about general stuff for a few minutes before Jaxon invites himself to sit next to Grace.
i. Don't kill me!
Tumblr media
"Hate, the opposite of love, the driving power of destruction"
"Not that fucking car, that one was Jax's favorite! " spat Asher angrily. Asher Hunter Black was a very successful businessman man, almost all the fashion designing companies worked under him and that was just a..... Undercover!
He was the biggest Mafia boss 'Thy Enforcer' who exported weapons to many countries. He was an arrogant, pompous, ignorant person in real life. He didn't like people very much except for one...his son, Jaxon.
"I'm sorry sir, she came out of nowhere, it wasn't my fault!" said the driver. "well, the good thing is Jaxon
was not in it!" sighed Asher. The driver dropped Jaxon to kindergarten and was heading back.
"Go find her!"
"she's at the parking lot!" said the driver who knew it was her last day. She shouldn't have stayed. Even if she didn't it would be of no use, Asher would have easily found her.
"well, that's a good thing, she didn't run!" said Asher.
"Not everyone is like you, Hunter!" uttered an old man, not very old, but he still looked fit.
"what do you want, Walter?"
"Jesus, how many times have I told you I hate it when you call me by my name, I'm your grandpa for God's sake!" uttered his grandpa. "right!" smirked Asher.
"what are you gonna do? Kill that poor girl?"
"she ruined my son's favorite car, and do you know how much it cost?" spat Asher.
"All of this hatred just for a stupid, non-living object?"
"One thing I got from you! " chuckled Asher. His grandpa was so pissed at him. Asher always blamed him for how or who he was. Yes, his grandpa did some terrible things but now he is trying to right his wrong.
"Is this what you are gonna teach your son when he is old enough, that people's lives are worthless compared to an object." said grandpa. He had enough of his evil behavior.
"I know exactly what to tell my son, alright? He will be nothing like me or my father and absolutely not like you."
"Do what you want!" Walter slammed the door of his office and started searching for the girl who was just here to apologize for what she did. She had no idea it would most likely cause her life. But she was nowhere, the guards already took her to the safe spot.
Of course, Asher was not gonna kill her, he can easily afford a new one but he was gonna teach her a lesson for sure.
"you guys are pretty serious about your security, huh?" said Dia. She immediately shut up when one of the guards gave her a death glare.
Dia Auclaire was an independent, strong, and robust girl, at least she thought like that...if truth be told she was a mess, a complete mess. She was 21. Her life was always upside down. Whenever she wanted to do something right it went otherwise just like this time, but she stayed to apologize.
When the door opened she looked at Asher with bright eyes, he was a bit older than her but he was hot. His eyes color was turquoise like the ocean which made her wonder what secrets lay behind those, his lips were perfect and his suit was neatly ironed. He had a muscular body, and his hair was almost blonde. His hands....oh my God, his veiny hands could do so many things to her oh shoot, she shouldn't think like that in this situation, she is just here to apologize.
"Hello sir, you must be Mr. Black. I'm so sorry for crashing your car. There was fog all around I couldn't see a single thing. I'm so sorry!" apologized Dia.
"you got a license?" asked Asher. Uhh, of course, she didn't have one. She failed her driving test so many times.
"no!"
Asher was interrupted by one of the guards. "Boss, Moriarty's brother is here!"
"Okay, this is your last warning, next time you won't get one, good thing my boy was not in it. I'm leaving you this time, go now" said Asher calmly.
"James, what a surprise!" gushed Asher. "I'm just here to tell you that I'm not going to get that tape for you. I'm not going against my brother!" said James.
"you know your brother is trafficking kids, right?" said Asher. Moriarity was a don too he was trafficking kids and girls with the help of 'thy enforcers' weapons. That was the reason Asher was so pissed that if anything happens, they will immediately track them because of the weapons.
"I know."
"well then you are of no use to us!" said Asher and immediately shot him neat in the head. James fell and Asher heard a faint gasp from the window.
"that girl, she watched us. Bring her!" demanded Asher to the guards. Dia saw he shot that man straight in his head. She couldn't believe what she saw. She just wanted to admire that Ferrari which was parked there and she took a picture of that car too.
"oh shit, shit, shit, he's gonna kill me too, he is a murderer, I should the call police, I shouldn't have stayed, stupid Ferrari." Dia started running for her life. Oh God, it was indeed her last day. She was running so fast that she almost didn't see a boy approaching. She fell taking the boy down on the ground.
"I'm sorry, are you okay? We gotta run okay," she blurted.
The boy was too young to understand any of that. He struggled to get out of her grip but the run was over. Asher caught her.
"stand behind me, okay?" she said to that boy almost bursting into tears.
."I almost liked you, but your timing is horrendous, you have to die too"
He saw she was hiding the boy behind her, Asher paused for a minute and kept the gun behind. She knew that Asher has noticed she was hiding her.
"no, don't do it!"
"Please don't kill me, I will not say a word about this, I swear. Just let me go please, you will never see me again." she pleaded.
Then the other second, he witnessed she was protecting the boy and he was astounded to see that.
"Hand him over!" Asher demanded. "why so you can shoot him too?" Dia said. She don't know why she was protecting that boy but she did.
"don't do it, he is just a boy, don't kill him too." she pleaded.
The boy was standing there facing Dia's back while she surrounded him with her arms to protect him. The boy was still struggling to get out of her hold not understanding anything that was happening.
"Daddy?" said the boy.
For Alex Kerner, a senior film student, nothing bored him more than the first day of a new unit. He knew what to expect - twenty plus slides about some dead, or borderline dead, director while connecting their life to the style of films they did and how it related to whatever political controversy was going down at the time. Alex knew that there was a reason for going into so much history to better understand the meaning of the films, but jesus did it have to drag for so long?
The auditorium that Alex’s class was held in was larger, although the class was rather small. There were maybe, at most, thirty students in his class, including him, which felt empty as the auditorium they were in was meant to hold almost double that. Alex didn’t mind though, of all the rows, he was the only one in the back, taking the middle seat - of course, the best view to see a film. He recognized a lot of the faces in his class, as it was a senior level class, but he didn’t bother to converse with many.
It wasn’t that he was shy, not overly at least, he just didn’t care to make friends. It was an afternoon class, he was just getting out of work to rush to his class, and far too exhausted to try and fake being friendly…hence him sitting in the back, all alone.
The ‘Authorship in Cinema’ course he was currently in was held twice a week - both two hours long. The first class of the week was held for lectures and the second class was held for the film screening. The university was just getting back from winter break, continuing into the last half of the semester. In Alex’s class they had finished their unit on Roman Polanski before the break and they came into the next covering Krzysztof Kieślowski. Alex was thrilled to say the least about not having to listen to his film professor rave on Polanski. Even after discussing Polanski’s case, his professor still seemed to idolize the man.
Alex was not fond of his film professor. He was a younger professor, maybe in his late thirties, early forties, and he seemed to praise the worst directors he could find. His name was Jaxon Thorne and was the staple image of a douche. He always wore faded jeans that were tight in the crotch, scuffed up sneakers that he always tried to pass as being cool, and a sweater with a scarf - even though they were inside. He truly didn’t get how girls liked the man. Alex wouldn’t lie though, some of his opinions were interesting, but the guy loved to hear himself talk, that much was obvious.
They weren’t even at the tenth slide yet when Alex felt himself beginning to doze off. Work had been busy today, fixing satellites and dealing with prissy wives and their drunk husbands. He was almost late getting to class with all the traffic that was on the highway. The last thing he wanted to do was attend class. It took everything in him not to put his head down and go to sleep right there. He had done it before, and that was a mistake he would never make again. Waking up to everyone staring and snickering while the teacher was hovering over you meant for a lasting effect.
But Alex just couldn’t take it, he was so bored with Kieślowski’s early work. The documentaries of everyday lives for city dwellers, workers, and soldiers could not keep his attention even if he wasn’t tired. He sunk down into his seat, crossing his arms over his chest, before craning his head to the side on his shoulder. His blinking became slow, desperately trying to stay awake and pay attention, but his eyes grew heavy, and before he knew it, his mouth was gaped open, drool slipping out of the corner of his lips.
He didn’t know how long he had dozed off for, but when he woke up he heard the projector screen zip up and the lights click on. Jumping slightly, Alex sat back up, feeling the stickiness of his drool on his face. With a groan, he wiped his face with the sleeve of his jean jacket before beginning to pack his things up into his bag.
“On Wednesday we will dive into his documentary, Workers, and discuss the censorship aspect of it. Come prepared to watch the screening and discuss afterwards. If anyone has any questions or comments, I’ll be staying after for a few minutes.”
Rolling his eyes, Alex pushed himself out of his chair, swinging his bag over his shoulder before rushing out the back door at the top of the auditorium. He couldn’t have gotten out of there fast enough to avoid his teacher from going off on an ‘intellectual conversation’ on their new unit. Barf.
Alex was happy though to finally be out of class and to enjoy his hour and a half break before his next class. He knew he should have been finalizing what project he wanted to submit for critique in his senior portfolio, but he needed something to wake him up.
As he turned the hallway, going to leave the building, he stopped by the vending machine and pulled out a crinkled bill from his pocket, pushing it into the machine before pressing the buttons to get a bottle of Coke. To his luck, however, the machine stalled, the bottle retriever getting stuck in front of the row and producing an obnoxious ‘whirring’ noise.
“Oh you’ve got to be kidding me!” Gripping the side of the vending machine, Alex shook the machine roughly, rocking the broken vending machine back and forth until setting it back, sending a punch to the front of it.
“Woah, woah! Jesus man what did that vending machine do to you?”
Turning his head, Alex’s glare softened at the sight of his friend, Denis, approaching him. Denis, with his books still in his hands, tucked them under his arm as he stood in front of the machine, watching as the machine stalled with Alex’s bottle of Coke.
“The stupid thing got stuck! Is it too much to ask for a bottle of co-”
Before he could finish his sentence, the machine began to work again, grabbing the bottle and dispensing it below. Staring blankly at the bottom, his lips pulled into a tight line, Alex could only feel the embarrassment settling in - and it didn’t help to hear Denis laugh at how ridiculous he reacted.
“Oh my god, dude, you seriously need to take it easy. Did work kill you that bad?” Denis asked, watching as Alex bent down to pull out the bottle, standing back up as he began unscrewing the cap, guzzling the pop down.
Nodding his head, Alex screwed the cap back on before tucking the bottle in his bag, hiccuping at the carbonation before sighing, “Yeah, and it doesn’t help that I gotta go to Professor Dick’s class right after.”
Shifting his weight from one foot to the other, Denis nodded, listening to Alex as he vented, “Yeah, Thorne’s a real piece of work. But hey! Only gotta deal with him for another semester after this. Who knows, maybe he will knock a student up and ditch down?”
The fantasy would have been nice to come true, but Alex knew that it would stay just that - a fantasy. Thorne was a questionable guy, with interesting ideas and made borderline inappropriate comments towards the female students in all his classes…but that was just it, he could charm anyone he wanted, and that’s how he stayed around.
“Yeah, maybe when dogs walk on two legs…” Alex mumbled, pressing his knuckles to his eyes and rubbing the sleep out of them, a yawn escaping his lips.
As he dropped his hands down to his side, he felt Denis nudge him in the arm, groaning at the contact as he was too tired to have any contact, “You got class at seven right?”
Nodding, Alex blinked, a tired smile on his face as he smacked his lips, “Yeah…seven to nine, best time of day to have a senior portfolio workshop.”
Denis laughed at the sarcastic comment, mentioning that it could’ve been worse and be at seven in the morning than at night. Alex, however, couldn’t see how anything could be worse than an evening class after a long day of work.
“Listen, I got my ‘Romanticism in Literature’ class in a few…why don’t you come with me? My teacher’s pretty cool and I’m sure she won’t mind if you sit in. I’m in the back anyways so she probably won’t even realize. She’s got pretty bad vision I’ve realized. I think she said that her glasses don’t got the right prescription or somethin. She’s always runnin late and claims she never has time to put her contacts in.”
The detailed explanation of the professor’s vision made Alex laugh, shaking his head as Denis looked at him confused, cheeks red, “What? It’s what she’s told us! She’s always coming in late. I wouldn’t be surprised if she came in late this time around. She’s got office hours before class, so she probably gets held up with a student.”
“Sounds like you’re in love with her, is that right, Denny Boy? Someone’s gotta crush on the teacher? Ain’t that every high school kid’s fantasy? Get the hots for the teacher?”
Scoffing, Denis rolled his eyes at Alex’s teasing and shoved him in the arm, “No man, come on now, it ain’t like that. Look if you don’t wanna come I don’t care, but I gotta go before I’m late.”
Holding his hands up in defense, Alex trailed behind Denis, going back in the direction he originally came from, “Hey, hey, I was only kidding, don’t gotta get defensive. I’ll take along, hopefully I won’t fall asleep in this class. Why you even taking this class anyways?”
Following Denis into the class, the auditorium setup similar to the one he just came out of, except smaller, Alex sat beside Denis in the back row, watching as the class filled up, only a few seats not filled.
“I guess I gotta earn some more credits outside my degree, this was the only one that wasn’t completely filled up yet and it worked with my schedule. It ain’t too bad, she gives us a lot of free time to work.”
Watching as Denis set his bag down beside him, opening his textbook to where they left off the other day, Alex watched Denis prep for the class, the teacher not in sight. Alex figured that the teacher must have been running late, like Denis said she always did, but he couldn’t help but wonder how long it’d be before she even showed up.
Fifteen minutes after class was supposed to begin the front door ripped open, slamming shut seconds after while heels frantically clicked towards the desk in the front of class.
“Sorry I’m late! I got caught up with another professor. I hope you all enjoyed your winter breaks and are happy to be back. I know I’m thrilled to be back!”
The sweet voice caught Alex’s attention, his eyes pulling from his cell phone and to the front of the class where the professor had just walked in. He felt his mouth fall open slightly, catching it before Denis noticed his reaction.
He was expecting an old lady for Denis’ class, someone who was on the edge of death and smelled of cats. What he found, however, was someone the complete opposite. Younger, curvier, and the scent that filled the room when she entered was warm - like she just finished drinking a cup of coffee.
Her hair was pulled back into a messy bun, bangs hanging low over her eyes, covering the tops of her crooked frames. She couldn’t have been all that older than him, maybe mid-thirties at max. He didn’t notice what she was wearing below, but the shirt she wore clung to her so well, the outline of her fuller chest displayed with her necklace dipping into her cleavage.
‘Good God, Alex, get a hold of yourself.’
Alex watched the professor, noticing her speaking although his lusted thoughts deafened his ears. He assumed she was asking how the break went and if anyone did anything fun because a few people raised their hands, a kind smile on her face as she listened to her students.
“That’s great to hear, Polly! You’ll have to show me the photos you took sometime. I have never been to that side of the country before,” Her head shifted towards the other side of the room, looking up at the higher rows. “Did anyone else have anything to share about their break?”
Denis’ professor sat patiently and listened to everyone who wanted to share, giving everyone the opportunity to discuss their breaks before she opened up her laptop to get started with class. Alex watched as she picked up the remote and pointed it to the projector box, the screen coming down beside her with her computer screen displayed.
Her home screen featured what he assumed to be her and some friends. He recognized a few of the people in the photo as they were also professors at the university - what made Alex turn his nose, however, was right beside her - in all his douchebag glory, Jaxon Thorne. Before he could make a cohesive thought, the photo went away and a slideshow on Mary Shelley appeared…and maybe for the better.
“Okay everyone! As mentioned in the email, we are gonna be diving into Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein for this part of the semester,” She began, her warm smile still ignited, chuckling lightly as some of the students up front became uneasy in their seats, excited for the novel, “I’m glad to hear we have some fans. Now, I promised that I wouldn’t give you any reading over break, but because of that we will be reading quite a bit over the next few weeks.”
The slide shifted to the reading guide and what chapters were due when. Alex watched as some students scribbled the due dates down while others pulled out their cell phones, snapping a photo before stuffing their phones away.
“For Wednesday I would like you all to have read the preface and letters one through four. Come prepared to discuss your analyses of the text and any questions you may have. Of course, I’ll have my office hours open tomorrow and Wednesday before class, but if there are any questions, you can send me an email and I’ll try to get back with you in a timely manner.”
The rest of class seemed to lull by, Alex’s gaze fixed on the professor that continued to go over what the last half of the semester would look like, answering the occasional question, before finally it was time to pack up and go. Frowning, Alex shifted in his seat, looking at Denis who was packing things up in his bag.
“It’s over?” Alex asked, eyebrows furrowed, a pathetic frown on his face.
Looking up from his bag, Denis smiled, nodding, “Yeah man, it is. Why? You fall in love with Mary Shelley?” Standing up, Denis pushed his seat under the table and shrugged his shoulders, “I mean, if it works for your schedule and you’re interested, maybe go up and ask if you can enroll. I don’t know if you’ll be able to with it being so late in the semester, but it’s worth a shot,” Glancing down at his watch, Denis sighed, “Look, I gotta run, but let me know how it goes, okay?” Patting Alex’s back, Denis rushed up the stairs and out the back door, fleeing the auditorium to get to his next class on time.
Meanwhile, Alex kept seated, watching as the professor talked with some students who approached her desk after class, laughing and admiring the editions of Frankenstein that students presented. Was this how professors could be with their students? Actually caring and involved? It seemed like Alex had poor luck with his own professors - either they were old as a bat and didn’t know how to work the computer, or they were a presumptuous dick.
When the students began to flock out, already discussing how they were looking forward to Wednesday’s class, Alex finally stood up, pulling his bag over his shoulder and making his way down the auditorium steps. She hadn’t noticed him as he walked, writing something down in her planner. As he stood now in front of her, he cleared his throat awkwardly, gaining her attention as she looked up, squinting before taking her glasses off.
“Hello,” he began shyly, adjusting the strap of his bag, “I’m Alex. My friend, Denis, he’s in your class.”
At the mention of Denis, she smiled and nodded, “Yes! Denis, nice boy he is,” She adjusted her position in her seat, leaning back slightly, “I-I’m sorry, are you in my class? I don’t believe I’ve ever see-”
“No! I mean, no, no I’m not in your class. I have a free hour before my next class and Denis invited me to sit in for this one,” He rushed, cheeks red as he realized how abruptly he had interrupted her, “I’m sorry, um, yeah I just came down because I really enjoyed your lecture today. I was curious if there was any way I could maybe enroll? I know it’s late in the semester, but I did enjoy today.”
The cheeky smile faded into a sadder, smaller smile. She chewed on her bottom lip before leaning forward again, crossing her arms over chest, accentuating her cleavage that Alex desperately tried not to stare at.
“Oh, I’m sorry Alex, but I don’t think I can convince the department to let you in this late in the semester. I love your enthusiasm with the course and would love to have you in my class, but I don’t think I can make that happen.” Her smile dropped to a frown when she saw the visible disappointment in Alex’s face before bending over to open her bag, pulling out a copy of Frankenstein, handing it to Alex.
Looking down at the copy, Alex opened the cover, reading what he assumed to be her name in the cover, before flipping through the pages, a weak smile on his face, trying his best to not look so pathetic in front of her.
“How about this? I probably shouldn’t, but if you want to sit in on the days you’re free, you’re more than welcome to. I’ll forward you the reading guide so you can keep up with us, but you won’t earn any credit in this class. Is that okay?”
His frown turned into a grin, looking up from the book, Alex nodded, his cheeks pink as his toothy crooked grin spread across his face, “Yeah, yes. Thank you,” Tugging down the front of his striped blue shirt, he cleared his throat awkwardly, looking down at the book before back up at her, “Um, so when are your office hours? Just in case I have any questions?”
Letting out a faint ‘ah’, she opened her notebook and scribbled some notes down, tearing off the paper and handing it to Alex, “You’re more than welcome to shoot me an email though if you need help outside of my office hours. Or you can call my office number, sometimes I answer it.” She admitted, her own cheeks going pink at the confession.
Smiling, Alex looked down at the paper and made a mental note to remember all that she had given him.
My email,
My office number,
Office hours are M&W: 3-5:15 and T&R: 1-2
Class takes place on M&W from 5:30-6:30
:)
The smile she left on the page made Alex’s stomach flutter. His thumb ran along the smiley face before he looked up, thanking her quietly for the note. She was sweet, almost too sweet for Alex to absorb, like he was in a sugar coma and begging for more.
“Of course, it was nice to meet you Alex. I’m looking forward to seeing you in class. I don’t mean to run off, but I’m to meet another professor here in a couple minutes and don’t need to be lectured on being late.”
When she stood up, Alex’s face went hot. The flowy flower blouse that showed more cleavage than he had seen on a professor before was tucked into a tight jean skirt, clinging to her hips in all the right places, a thick black belt holding it all together. If it weren’t for the fact that he was right in front of her, he probably would have started drooling.
Packing up her desk, she stuffed her things in her bag, throwing her sweater over her shoulder before throwing her bag around her, moving around the desk to stand beside it now, looking up at Alex. He noted how she was shorter, the heels helping her with height, and how good her legs looked in them. Clearing his throat, he shifted his bag around him to sit in front of his pants, attempting to hide any possible pop-up in his jeans.
“If you’re free tomorrow, stop by my office hours. I’ll even buy you a coffee if it’s too early for you. I know you college boys stay up far too late. I can only imagine what your mothers think.” She teased, shaking her head and she turned and began to head out of the room, hearing Alex keep tight on her trail.
Turning off the lights and letting him leave first, she shut the door behind her and stood beside Alex, motioning towards the English department office, “I’ll see you tomorrow, or Wednesday, my office is the last one on the right. I’ll be sure to leave my door open!”
Nodding, Alex smiled and waved goodbye as she waved back, rushing down the hall and weaving through the students to get into the office. Letting out a sigh, Alex leaned against the doorway, processing his first encounter with the professor, the boyish lust grin stuck on his face.
⋆ ⋆ ⋆
Panting hard, Alex gripped her hips tight, his fingers digging into her plush figure, grunting as he snapped his hips into her from behind, her pillowed ass meeting him with each thrust. The sweat that built up on him was beginning to fall down face, trailing down his neck and chest.
Tangling his right hand into her hair, his left still placed on her hips, Alex pulled her locks gently, smiling at the sound of her wanton moan, her eyes rolling back into her head.
“A-Alex! Oh god, Alex, I don’t think I’m going to last. F-Fuck!”
Feeling his own climax build, Alex let out a shaky breath as he bent down craning his neck to kiss her lips as he continued to rut inside of her, his thrusts becoming sloppy and quicker.
The sensation became too much too quickly, his legs shaking as he kneeled behind her befo-
Jolting awake, the obnoxious phone alarm woke Alex from his dream, resulting in a now completely frustrated mood. While still on his back, Alex reached behind him on the shelf that rested behind his bed frame, pulling his phone up and looking at the screen, squinting to gain his vision from waking up, the bright screen burning his eyes.
When he unlocked his phone and opened it, prompting him to his email, his frown lit up and turned into a smile, seeing her name in his inbox.
Good evening, Alex!
I’m sorry this is so late, I’m finally getting back to my apartment and wanted to send this your way before I forgot. Here is the reading guide for the rest of the semester and that information I shared with you earlier in case you lost it.
I look forward to seeing you in my office tomorrow or Wednesday. I hope you have a good night! :)
Best!
Alex’s mood quickly shifted after reading the email. While he was disappointed that the wet dream he was having with her ended so soon, he was more than pleased to see that he had an email from her. Clicking his phone off, Alex tossed his phone onto his bed, sitting up with his hand behind him to keep him up.
His room illuminated a red/orange hue from the lava lamp that sat on his dresser in the corner of his room. Turning his attention towards the window, he looked behind the blinds to see the city life outside his apartment lit up, the sound of music coming from the club down the road and laughs from those partying.
Letting out a yawn, Alex shook his head and rubbed his face, shifting his legs before stopping quickly, feeling the mess in his boxers. Looking down, Alex groaned seeing the stain in his boxers, pressing his hand to feel the wet spot before sighing, standing up. He pulled his boxers carefully off, tossing them into his laundry basket before making his way into the bathroom to clean up.
When he entered the small bathroom that was connected to his room, he hissed at the bright light as it came on, looking at himself in the mirror. His hair was tangled up, sticking out on the sides and his eyes were squinted, too tired to open them fully. Shaking his head, Alex climbed into the shower and started the water, the cold water hitting him both waking him up and cooling himself down.
He was absolutely and pathetically smitten over her. There was no doubt about it. Since leaving her class, the only thoughts that occupied his mind were of her. He had already planned out what he would wear tomorrow when he went to her office hours. It was pathetic, truly, with how quickly he was letting the woman ruin him. It was ridiculous to say, no doubt, because what would happen between them? Nothing. Not a single thing would come between the two other than a conversation about Frankenstein, maybe a personal question here and there.
Or so he thought.
I wrote another story. My friends really wanted me to post this one, so here it is. Be warned, it has my own headcanons in it too.
TW: Cursing, Bullying
The First Meeting, Pt. 1
“C’mon, ‘Dreadgory’! Hurry up!” Xavier yelled at the boy.
“I-I’m coming,” Gregory sweetly stammered in response to his fellow classmate.
Giving the Glamrock Freddy plush he was holding a final squeeze, Gregory placed the bear plush back down on the gift shop shelf. He wanted to buy it so bad, but guess it’ll have to wait until later.
“I’ll come back for you,” he cooed softly, giving the plush a soft pat on the head, “I promise.”
The plush only gave silence as a response. Just the happy little expression sewn on its face. Gregory smiled softly back at the empty response.
“C’mon, sissy!” Gregory heard Jaxon call out to him next, “The meet and greets are starting soon! We don’t want to be late because of your slow ass!”
“Language...” Gregory whispered as he ran over to his group of friends. They all slouched and sat around the giant fountain near the grand entrance of the PizzaPlex. There were four of them: Xavier, Jaxon, Zachary, and Ian.
Xavier was a ginger with an undershave haircut. It was both smooth and spiky at the same time. Gregory always thought that the fashion trend of the boy was too mature for his age, but he didn’t question the leather-jacket-wearing 4th grader, less he wanted a bruised jaw again like last time.
Jaxon was the oldest fourth grader in Gregory’s class. With his almost-white-blonde hair and being the fastest one in gym class, he was a crush for every girl in their grade. Gregory couldn’t think of one girl who didn’t want to spend reading time with him or trade food with him at lunch. Anything to get his attention.
Zachary was probably the nicest to Gregory. Then again, that’s not saying much given how many times he dunk Gregory into sinks and dumped food all over the boy. The African American boy wore a white, zip up hoodie and blue shorts. Zachary stuck his tongue out at Gregory as he approached.
Last there was Ian. He always wore black and blue and had green eyes that always seemed like they were emotionally dead. He laughed at the most random things and told terrible jokes. And if Gregory didn’t laugh, he always got what was coming to him...
“Took you long enough, egghead!” Xavier hissed as the boys started to get up from their resting positions, “I swear if we miss these events, I’ll—“
“Xavier, shut your face!” Zachary sneered, “The more you complain to Gregory, the higher chance we’ll miss the shows! C’mon!”
As the boys started making their way to the escalators, Gregory felt a tight grip on his arm. He nervously turned to see Xavier squeezing his arm. Gregory gave Xavier a fearful look.
“This isn’t over, Evans...” Xavier hissed, thrashing Gregory’s arm down before going to join the others.
Gregory shook his head quietly, kneading his arm.
“They’re my friends...” Gregory reassured himself. Then he started to follow the group of boys up to the other parts of the PizzaPlex.
XXX
“Does everyone have their tickets?” Jaxon inquired the group as they approached the Green Rooms.
Ian giggled slightly.
“I don’t have any tickets! I’m gonna see Moondrop!”
“Seems like you guys would get along...all creepy and tell weird jokes...” mumbled Gregory under his breath, looking at the glossy, tiled floor.
“You got something to say, Dreadgory?!” Ian snapped as he grabbed the boy’s shirt collar, pulling him in close.
“You need to be nice to us, Evans,” Jaxon snarled, “you don’t want to be a crybaby who plays by himself at recess again, do ya!?”
Gregory’s heart pounded fast. He could feel the tension in the air as Ian tightened his grip on his shirt, still glaring at him with those dull green eyes.
“I-I’m sorry...” Gregory’s eyes started to sting. His brown eyes were now squeezed tight as he prepared for their punches.
Gregory didn’t get any punches, but the floor greeted him with a harsh slap as he fell onto it. His breathing hitched as Gregory shakily got onto his hands and knees. Head still low, Gregory looked back up at his group of friends. They all towered over him now.
“We’ll let you off this time, shorty...” Jaxon sneered, “It is your birthday after all.”
Ian broke out in hysterical laughter.
“Awww look at da little baby! Is he going to cry?!”
The rest of the boys started to snicker along. It was true, Gregory was going to cry.
Gregory could feel tears start to drip from his eyes. He tried to stay strong, but he could feel himself cracking.
“C’mon guys, let’s leave the birthday boy to his birthday tears!” Xavier cackled.
They all started to leave, talking amongst themselves about what animatronic they were going to see. Jaxon to Roxanne Wolf, Xavier to Montgomery Gator, Zachary to Glamrock Chica, and Ian to Moondrop.
The only one left was the main star himself: Glamrock Freddy.
He was for the birthday boy.
He was the only thing Gregory was looking forward to seeing on his birthday. The only thing to make his day better. Gregory looked down at the blue and white Fazbear Entertainment ticket in his tiny hands. Gregory then held a small smile on his face. Wiping away his tears, Gregory stood up and made his way to the Green Room of the one and only Freddy Fazbear.
His heart started jogging in his chest again. He was both excited and scared at the same time. He wasn’t the biggest fan of animatronics, but there was something about Glamrock Freddy that he loved so much. His kind demeanor, the way he cared about every child he met, his powerful vocal chords when he spoke and sung, he was like everyone’s dad. Everyone’s weird, robotic, bear dad.
As Gregory approached the green room for Freddy, he saw a red curtain draped in front of it. His pulse quickened. Why were the curtains closed? Picking up his pace, Gregory ran to the front of the curtain. There was a white sign in front of the sparkly, red curtain. Gregory’s heart dropped to his stomach.
“OUT OF ORDER.”
No.
No!
NO!
NO! NO! NO!
Gregory’s teeth gritted together. He sucked air through his teeth as tears poured from his eyes.
This had to be fake. It couldn’t be real.
Gregory could sense the teasing and humiliation coming already if the other boys founded him like this. Founded the only dream he had for today to be crushed.
He wanted to cry. He wanted to scream.
He just wanted to hide away forever.
Without even thinking, Gregory dashed into the curtains and into the room behind.
It was a dark room. The only light was the little sliver coming from the cut between the two curtains. Not seeing anything around him, Gregory fell onto his face. A pained grunt slipped past his lips as his face squished into the firm, velvety carpet.
That was the final straw for him.
Curling up on the floor, Gregory hiccuped the smallest of sobs. He laid there for awhile, silently crying over his birthday being ruined.
“It’s not fair...” Gregory pulled himself into a tighter ball, “It’s not fair, it’s not fair!”
“What’s not fair?” A mocking tone asked behind the boy.
Gregory snapped up and scuttled backwards.
In the darkness, the only light being their phone flashlights, were Xavier, Jaxon, and Zachary.
They were all different however, and certainly not for the better. They were all wearing masks of the characters they all went to see. There were not visible eyes in the masks, making them look like empty voids in the darkness. They stared at him eerily, sending chills down Gregory’s spine.
“Did the baby boy not get what he wanted this year for his birthday?” Xavier questioned further. “Did he want to be forgotten?”
Gregory shook his head quickly. No...
“You know, Xavier,” Jaxon said, in a overly exaggerated thinking pose, “I heard there’s something special about these animatronics...especially Freddy...”
Gregory didn’t like where this was going. He slowly started to scoot back.
“Freddy has a special way to treat sad birthday kids!” Jaxon laughed. “He EATS them!”
“Wh-Wha...” Was all a shaken Gregory was able to say before getting snatched up by the bullies.
“And we gotta keep the bear happy and STUFFED, now don’t we Gregory?”
They flashed their lights onto the animatronic who was hiding, decommissioned in the shadows of the room.
Gregory kicked and screamed for them to let him go.
“You did this to yourself, runt,” Jaxon warned, speaking through his Roxanne mask’s wolffish grin, “You just HAD to be upset on your birthday!”
As Gregory continued to cry out louder now, Jaxon clamped a hand over the boy’s mouth, muffling his screams.
Zachary jumped on top of the small stage that Glamrock Freddy stood on. He felt around the animatronic’s chest and stomach like he was searching for something.
“Hey Jax!” He called out over Gregory’s muffled cries, “How do you open this?”
“Press his bowtie, stupid! Just like how my mom showed us!” Jaxon scoffed, struggling to keep a grip on Gregory’s squirming torso. Xavier did his best to control Gregory’s legs.
With a click and a hiss, the bear’s broad chest opened. With only the phone lights as his guide, Gregory stopped struggling for a bit and stared at the now opened chest. In the harsh lighting mixed with complete darkness, the chest cavity of the animatronic looked like a dark void...ready to swallow Gregory whole.
Gregory thrashed about even more now, like a fish trapped in a net. He wanted to cry and scream for them to stop, but Jaxon’s hand only made him make suppressed yelps.
They brought him closer...and closer....
Finally, with a good and quick shove, Gregory was forced into the tight darkness. Gregory quickly turned his head around to see the opening of the chest cavity snap close behind him. Gregory was now soaked in enclosed darkness.
“NO!” He cried.
Gregory pressed himself against the sealed entrance. Sweat made his hands clammy as he pounded against the plastic wall. Tears flooded his eyes as he anxiously knocked against the fake material.
“PLEASE LET ME OUT!!” He begged, choking between sobs, “PLEE-EEASE!!”
His cries only got muffled chuckles in response. Those chuckles made Gregory grasp onto reality. A silent fearful look took over Gregory’s tear stained, sweat covered face.
“Listen to him, the fuckin’ idiot...” A softened Xavier cackled.
“Oh, if only Ian was here,” Jaxon wheezed, “He would be laughing his ass off right now...”
Gregory’s good heart wanted to remind them of their language, but he forced himself to stay silent. That didn’t stop his tears from flooding though. Hitched breaths were sucked in through his teeth.
“Guys... I think he’s been in there long enough,” Zachary whispered, “I don’t want to get in trouble with my dad about this.”
“Oh shut up, Zack..” Xavier snapped, “The little bitch just needs to learn that him crying is so annoying..”
“Yeah,” Jaxon agreed, “No wonder no one is friends with him.”
Gregory’s heart froze. The dreaded reality finally sat in. The one he fought so hard to not accept. Tears continued to flow as he leaned against the plastic wall, sobs ripping from his throat.
Gregory truly was all alone in this world.
As he sat there, bawling his eyes out in the darkness, Gregory couldn’t help but feel something, or someone, watching him. Watching him...and watching the bullies outside his tomb. He felt the omnipresent stare on him. It felt angry. It felt judgmental. It felt...protective.
Gregory looked around the tight space. There was no room for anyone else to be in here. Heck, there was barely enough room for him to be in here. His knees ached with cramps. His feet were pressed against the metal wall behind him. Gregory wanted out...and he wanted out now. And he wanted the feeling of being watched to go away too. It certainly wasn’t helping.
Despite his silent pleas, Gregory continued to stay in that chest cavity, and the feeling of being watched only got worse.
“C’mon guys,” Jaxon sarcastically laughed, “Let’s leave the little birthday boy to his little gift from us. I’m sure he’ll want to be alone to enjoy it alllll to himself.”
That one sentence brought back the fear and dread Gregory had only mere moments ago.
“WAIT!!” Gregory shrieked, “YOU CAN’T JUST LEAVE ME IN HERE!!”
He continued to knock and slam his hands hands against the plastic wall. They seriously couldn’t be leaving him here...they couldn’t be...
“Oh, I think he’s loving it so far,” a much more distant Jaxon called out, “Have fun in there, Dreadgory!”
A burst of the boys’ laughter erupted again, suddenly being even more muffled by a curtain swooshing. Soon, the laughter faded away, only leaving Gregory in complete darkness. Complete, eerie darkness. The only sounds were Gregory’s cries and pleas, hopelessly trying to get their attention, to make them come and get him out of this stupid chest cavity. All he got in response was his cries and knocks echoing in the tight space...
After what seemed like forever of begging and tears, Gregory’s screams dialed down to soft whimpers. He hugged his knees and held them up to his chest. Gregory’s body was soaked in sweat. His forehead was beaded with the salty liquid. The dark air and his clothes were now dampen from the sweat and his tears. Still in utter darkness, Gregory continued to sob quietly, thinking of what just happened. Were his friends right? Did he really deserve this?
The little birthday boy sighed, wiping his tears from his eyes.
“Maybe they’re right...” he croaked, “M-Maybe I...I do deserve this..”
Gregory then buried his face into his knees, his eyes beginning to sting again.
“I’m all alone...” he shuttered, “Tr-Trapped in here... forever.”
“You’re not alone.”
Gregory’s head shot up. His heart began to pound quickly again. He looked around, trying to find the source of the voice.
“Who...” Gregory panicked, “Who’s there?!”
“Do not be afraid, little one,” the voice softly continued, “I’d never hurt you.”
The voice...it was rumbled like thunder and as gruff as rusty metal, but it was gentle and quiet as a butterfly. And most of all, it sounded familiar.
“Gl-Glamrock Fre—“ Gregory started, only to be interrupted again.
“Let’s make this more comfortable,” the voice proposed, “They’re gone now, so it’s safe to come out.”
There was a soft click outside. A click of a button? Gregory’s heart fluttered. Could this really be him? There was a hiss and more clicks. Gregory could feel cool and new air flush against his face. The chest cavity was now open.
Part 2 coming very soon!
Walker 1.11
Tumblr media
That. Was. So. Good! I loved everything about this, except Geri breaking Hoyt’s heart but we’ll get to that in a minute.
Let me tell y’all when Jared tweets that a Walker episode is gonna be big he has yet to lie about it, he tweeted it about episode 9 and that was excellent, he tweeted it about this one and this was amazing. Sidenote: Whenever he can Jared live tweets Walker! So, if you’re watching this show live check out his twitter, send him love and let him know how much you’re enjoying the show. And even if you’re not watching live do that anyways ❤
On to the episode!
Hoyt is out of prison and everyone is thrilled...except for Walker who is probably wishing the ground would swallow him up because if y’all remember he and Geri kissed. In show time a month has passed, and I think it’s the same in real time because this show did go on break after that episode but I’m not gonna bother to check, point is a month has passed since the kiss and they have yet to talk about it; Hoyt is a free man, and the Walker fam and friends are throwing him a Welcome Home party at the Side Step. How delightfully awkward!
Hoyt is happy as a clam about being free and having his girl and his best friend by his side but also suspicious because Geri is acting weird. Geri is a mess of confusion over her emotions and feelings. And Walker wants to talk to Geri about what happened while also desperately hoping Hoyt does not find out that while he was in prison his longtime best friend who’s like a brother to him made out with the love of his life. And they have kept it a secret for a month.
Luck was temporarily on Walker’s side because just when Geri has had enough and she’s ready to spill to Hoyt what happened, the man gives a speech in which he not for the first time publicly and loudly professes his love for Geri and right after Walker and Micki get alerted that the prison bus who was transporting Trevor’s dad, Clint, and Jaxon was intercepted and the prisoners escaped! Which is a bigger problem for Cordell than what he has realized cause he still doesn’t know that Clint not only knows who he really is but knows he’s not dead. For anyone who’s confused Clint was the leader of the Rodeo Kings, the gang Walker ran with when he was undercover as Duke, and Jaxon was another one of the members.
So, Walker and Micki are on the case and first they go to a bank where Clint had a safety deposit box but that man sneaked in and out without them noticing and now the game is on cause he left a little message for “Duke” inside the box about keeping the circle small and the lies honest or something like that along with a bandana.  Since things at the bank did not pay off they head off to prison to visit someone I did not think we would see again: Twyla Jean. Y’all will remember her from episode 5, she was Duke’s ex. Now when we first met this girl I did not much care for her but in this episode I not only liked her, I felt bad for her and I hope Walker keeps his word (cause he told her he’d visit her) and we get to see her again.
Twyla Jean was left out of the escape plan so she doesn’t know about what the other two are planning, but she does remember and tells Walker about a cabin that Clint used to take his kid to; which is when Micki walks in, while Walker was talking with Twyla she got her hands on Clint’s visitor logs and shocker they reveal Trevor had been visiting Clint. Welcome to the party Walker, it took you a while to figure that one out.
Twyla’s information about the cabin is invaluable because that is Trevor and Stella’s location.
While all of that was going on, Trevor took Stella to the mentioned cabin where his parents used to take him as a kid because there’s money hidden in there, it’s a safe place, and they turned off their phones so they have zero idea that Clint and Jaxon are on the loose. Reasons for them being in the cabin in the first place is that they’re young, stupid, think they’re in love, and for those reasons had decided to run away together in the last episode. Trevor is ready to hightail it out of Texas with the help of his father’s I’m 99% positive was illegally obtained money, but Stella thought they were just taking a break from their parents which leads to a fight between them but they work it out, and...Trevor is a dumb bitch who burns the money, along with the fake passports, but who cares about the passports the money 😩
Unsurprisingly Clint and Jaxon find the kids but Trevor was able to help Stella out the window and for once this girl was smart cause when he told her to run she ran! Jaxon chases her down but thankfully for her Walker had arrived, sadly for Walker she panicked and accidentally shot him. Not mortally, but enough to leave him with only one arm for fighting which did not prevent him in any way, shape, or form from kicking Jaxon’s ass! Which was hot af! YES CORDELL! YOU GO BABY 🔥
And Micki also got to kick a little ass, yas girl! 😍
If you’ve read some of my previous opinion posts about this show you know I’m not exactly a fan of Stella but in this episode I love her, at one point I even wanna give her a hug because this poor child has yet to learn love is not enough to save people; this, running away with her wannabe bad boy boyfriend, scaring the crap out of her dad in the process and her only reason being some equivalent of ‘but daddy, i love him’, is the kind of realistic dumb teenage shit I’ve been wanting to see from her.
So, in this episode I love her, I also loved her brother because in the few scenes he had he was giving his dad some attitude, it’s one of the few times I’ve seen that kid have a personality writers please let him keep it.
Keeping in theme of this episode making me care about characters I hadn’t before: Trevor. Stella may have gotten away but Trevor got grabbed by his dad! And while before I hadn’t cared much for him, now I’m worried for his safety and want his dad to give him back.
The next morning, in Geri’s house, Hoyt is setting up a heart made out of all the plastic rings he has given Geri over the years. He is going to do a proper proposal this time, he even has ring which he got from Abeline who was engaged when she met Bonham- WHAT????? Was that info given before and I just forgot? Mama Walker is just full of surprises...anyways Hoyt’s proposal is actually really sweet and up until this moment I didn’t realize how much I cared about this character; I was screaming at my screen for Geri to say yes and not break his heart but she did anyways 😭 First she blurted out that she and Cordell had kissed, which Hoyt was willing to forgive, and then when he told her he forgave her she still said no cause she’s all a mess. My heart broke for this poor man, listen Hoyt Rowlins has many flaws but that man has been loyal to Geri for years, and I know okay I know that ultimately she did the right thing because if she’s not sure about marrying him it’s better to tell him than say yes and string him along but I’m still on Hoyt’s side on this. Besides, she technically strung him along anyways cause she kissed Cordell a month ago! And I don’t know how intentional this was of the writers but it comes across like Geri has had feelings for Cordell for a while, and like maybe she wasn’t as in love with Hoyt as he was in love with her. Hoyt deserves better.
Honestly, this made me dislike her, and I officially don’t like the idea of her and Walker being romantically involved; I hope they don’t end up dating or if they do that it lasts just a short while with them realizing that they’re just looking for comfort in someone familiar because otherwise it’d be a relationship that came at the price of breaking and/or damaging a years long friendship, and Hoyt is not a bad friend and those two do not make a good enough couple to make that okay.
And then it all ends in cliffhanger: Walker arrives home with Stella, Hoyt is already there waiting to kick his ass, Clint and Trevor may not be far behind we don’t know cause the last we see is Clint driving down a road.
And that was episode 11! It was amazing; the writers did magic with this one cause characters I haven’t cared much for or at all suddenly I’m invested. This was truly one of the best episodes, and this post is coming a little later than usual so if you haven’t seen this epi yet this show is available for free streaming on the CW website and the app- and if it doesn’t let you stream because you’re outside the US get a VPN 😉
Crave by Tracy Wolff.
2.5 stars.
“There’s not much to be afraid of when you’ve already lost everything that matters.”
I'm warning you: if you haven't read the book and don't want any spoilers, don't read further, because my review is filled with spoilers and sarcasm. I am conflicted with this book. I hated it, it was cringey and the romance was ugh (but I shelved as romance, AND as "this shit has no romance"), the characters were stupid as fuck and the plot was not interesting but predictable, and the villain, oMG, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT??? However, it was fast paced. It took me a while because I was on a reading slump and having constant breakdowns, lol. Anyhow, it amazed me how quick I read this book and how fast many chapters went... Which is good, because my reading slump was stick to me, and I guess I gotta say thanks to this book ¿? Ok, let's start the review! Grace lost her parents due a mysterious accident (as your typical avergage normal YA girl) and she has no more family, except her uncle, who lives in Alaska and runs an Academy. So, Grace moves on to Alaska to live with him and her cousin, Macy. Everything is normal, until Grace realizes that something is not right. Surprise! Vampires, dragons, witches and shapeshifters are real! And she might be one of them! Plot: It was predictable as fuck. I could guess many things that were going to happen and I wasn't surprised. Also, there were many plotholes, that left me with many many many questions that were not answered in the entire book. Lia killing Grace's parents has no sense. I mean, beside of being senseless, it's stupid and has no point. No one could saw that coming (let me explain you why before you think "uhm, yeah, well, that's the point of a plot twist") because there was no hint that Lia had something to do with it. Lia is barely in the book, and appears only when it is convenient for Grace, not to give us hints that hello! she is the "villain". Lia being the villain is a crime. I'd rather be a good villain for this book. I mean, I get it, you want your "mate" *insert gags* back and you're suffering, but, sweetie, why you didn't kill Grace inmediately? It was ridiculous and lame. Why Grace was left alive? What specie does she belong? Is Hudson alive? Why is she a gargoyle now? Why we had Jaxon's pov? (I dind't read them all tho, lmao) What was the real purpose of Lia for wanting Grace, a simple human, to her sacrifice? Will Grace have some braincells in the second book? We'll never know. Also, I think everything goes really quick in the span of 2/3 weeks. And I mean it: everything. Characters: Oh, this one is gonna be amazing. Get ready. Grace: I always liked to think: "what would happen if I find out that vampires are real? how would I react?" and the answer it's totally the opposite to what Grace did. Grace isn't smart, let's face it. Any of the mc with vampires involved is it. They're more interested on the hot dark haired guy who's telling them to stay the fuck away from them because, they're dangerous. *stares at Edward Cullen* But, the girl is drooling for the vampire since the moment they make eye contact and then it's insta love. uGH. I mean, Jaxon is telling you to stay away from him, to scare you and in the first moment you're touching him because why not? he's hot and totally not like the other guys you've met before, and oh, also the scar that makes him look like a true fucking bad boy. Yeah, no thanks. For some reason, she's the one who summons problems and Jaxon is "saving" her. She's convinced to it and despite of what he's done, she thinks he's the good guy, the victim, the hero and the most powerful dude in the world. Ugh, ugh, ugh, cringe. What amazes me of Grace is the fact that she wasn't scared to see what Jaxon can do... Sweetie, are you ok? Anyone in their five senses would have left the dude when he warned the first time. Anyone. And you can think "if a guy like him told me to stay away from him, I wouldn't do it, because he's hot", yeah, but hE'S CREEPY AND A STALKER AND A MURDER, WHAT THE HELL!?!?!?! I can't blame Grace for all the shit going in her life tho. I feel pity for her tbh. The fact that she said "Jaxon was never
meant to be the hero of my story... because I was always meant to be the hero of his." killed me, but not in the good way. For some reason that is beyond of my comprehension, it's like Grace believes that she can fix Jaxon, that she can make him see that he's a "good guy" and that he doesn't have to carry the weight of the world. (what the actual hell??) Jaxon: The great, handsome, vicim, hero, powerful, hot and mysterious Jaxon Vega. He's a fucking dick. He's a stalker (in his chapters he clearly says it) and a prick. Oh my gods, I truly hate him. The only good with him is his taste in music (because it's written by a women), but the rest? ugh, he reminded me of the average vampires who think they're the heroes of the story and the world depends of them (Edward, Hawke, Rhys but he's a fae ik, and who knows who else, ewwww). He's disgusting in so many levels that I can't explain. I still wanna know something: what had to do Jaxon in Lia's plan to kill Grace? I know that boy ain't something good. My ace ass was cringing everytime he appeared in front of Grace and I was relieved when he was gone. I don't have much to say about him, beside that I don't like him and hIS ONLY EXISTENCE IS A FUCKING RED FLAG. My boy Flint deserved better tbh. I was most interested on him beING A FUCKING DRAGON, THAT'S AWESOME, that in Jaxon being a typical vampire. And I will never get tired of say that Flint is way fucking better than Jaxon. He's my boy, ok? ok. Macy was irrelevant, even tho I loved her a lot, even more than Grace. She deserved better and if she is not endgame with Flint, I'll riot. Romance. Nope. No. NO. nO. The fuck no. How you can fall in love with a guy you barely met 2/3 weeks ago? And even more, say that you love him. On the first day in Alaska, Jaxon warned Grace to stay away from him, and she touches him like they're something ??????? And on the third day, she's drooling at the sight of the guy because he "saved" her. Everything was so rushed and it was like it existed a "love triangle" bUT FLINT DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE LIKE JACOB IN TWILIGHT, LOL. We all know from the beginning that Jaxon (Edward) is gonna be the champ, the winner and the endgame. You can predict that from the beginning of the book. Also, MATES???? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??!?!?!??!?! This trope is so used and boring that makes me sick. I mean, please, give me something built from zero. Not the "they're meant to be and that's it. suck it" nOPE. Give me plot twists. Hype. Like with From Blood and Ash this book is so overhyped. I mean, I read it because I like vampires and the academy trope. But literally, many people told me "this book is everything" "you're gonna love it" "Jaxon is so wonderfu, sexy and you'll love it"... Yeah, well, you can see now how it went. This book isn't thaaaaaaat bad, but isn't good either. It's fast paced, yes, but not something that I would recommend. You know? I think age is hitting me like a bitch and saying that many of the YA vampire books are not my thing anymore, and I really love vampires, lol. ANYHOW. This is my opinion, I'm not saying that this is purely trash or something like that, and you know why? Because I'm gonna read the second book of this one to see if my boy Hudson still alive, yep.
Runaway
Word count: 1098
Warnings: Arguing(Does that count as a warning?)
Characters: Sam, Dean, Sister!reader
A/N: S/O/N stands for Special One’s Name
---
Y/N rolled her eyes as Dean talked about the hunt.
     “The point of going on hunts is to kill the monster, not let them get away,” Dean said.
     “If the monster didn’t do anything, I find no point in killing them. I thought we already knew this,” Y/N replied looking over at him.
     “You lied to us to allow monsters to get away. Monsters!” Dean said.
     “And they were innocent so I wasn’t just going to sit by and watch you kill them!” She replied, standing up.
     “So you lied to us instead of trying to explain?” He said.
     “You know damn well that you still would’ve killed them,” She said.
     “They killed people!”
     “No, they didn’t. Maybe if you had listened to them, you would’ve realized that!”
     “And what if they were lying? Or are you just too stupid and naive to think that may be an option?”
     “I’m not stupid or naive, I’m just able to see that it isn’t always black and white. I thought you would’ve realized that by now, but apparently not,”
     “Well if that is how you’re going to hunt, you’re not hunting with us,”
     “Dean,” Sam said, thinking that it was bound to get too far. Y/N realized within seconds that he actually meant it at the moment, a plan forming in her head.
     “I’m going to my room. See you in the morning,” She said, walking out the door. The door shut behind her and she walked to her motel room. She sat in there for an hour, wondering if anyone would come to stop by. She shook her head, not as surprised as she thought she would be. She packed her bag and walked out the door, leaving a short note and her phone behind.
-Ten years later-
     “I’m scared.”
     “You’re what?”
     “You heard me.”
     “The entire time I’ve known you, those two words have never come out of your mouth.”
     “I realize that.”
     “You’ve literally faced Satan himself, and this is the one thing that scares you?”
     “Yes. What if she gets hurt?” Y/N said, looking back at the building she was driving away from.
     “She won’t. I talked to the babysitter and you ran all your tests,” The woman/man/person(you choose) sitting next to her said.
     “You couldn’t stay home, S/O/N?” Y/N asked.
     “No. I’m not able to do that anymore,” S/O/N replied.
     “I hate our jobs,” Y/N mumbled, pulling into the parking lot.
     “You love your job,” S/O/N told her. Y/N went to reply, but S/O/N leaned over and stopped her from speaking with a kiss. S/O/N pulled away, knowing they had changed Y/N’s mind. “Curse you,” Y/N mumbled. S/O/N laughed before getting out of the car. They closed their door and leaned through the window.
     “You’ll be back in three days?” She asked. Y/N nodded.
     “But if you need anything, call me immediately. No matter what, ok?” Y/N told her.
     “Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. Go save people,” S/O/N said. Y/N rolled her eyes, causing S/O/N to laugh before walking away.
---
     “Hey sweetie, where’s your mom?” Y/N asked the little boy. The dad looked over, skeptical of Y/N being that close to his kid.
     “The two big men took my mom,” He said. Y/N nodded.
     “Can you tell me what they looked like?” Y/N asked.
     “Jaxon, go to the other room for a minute,” The dad said. The little boy nodded and Y/N stood up, facing the dad. Once Jaxon had left the room, the dad turned to Y/N. “Why haven’t you killed us yet?”
     “Have you or Jaxon killed anyone?” Y/N asked.
     “What?” He said, confused.
     “If neither of you have killed anyone, then there’s no need to kill you.” She told him. The dad looked at her for a few seconds, confused. “What?”
     “Isn’t it your job to kill monsters?” He asked.
     “I kill monsters. Not innocents,” She told him. All of a sudden, something was heard towards the front of the house, causing them both to look in that direction. Y/N turned back to him. “Go upstairs and sit with Jaxon.” The man hesitated before nodding and quickly going up the stairs.Y/N looked around. She picked up the lamp and quickly went up the stairs. She left one of the doors opened just a crack while closing every other one and placed the lamp on top, which would cause it to fall once the door opened. She then went to the room Jaxon and his dad were in. “Jaxon, can you tell me what they looked like?” Y/N whispered as footsteps were heard coming up the stairs.
      “One was really tall and I thought he was a girl at first because his hair was as long as mommy’s,” He explained. Y/N couldn’t think of any male hunter she knew that would look like a girl due to their hair. Then again, she didn’t talk to that many other hunters. She talked to Garth, but he wasn’t a hunter. The other few hunters she’s ‘met’ was just from seeing them across a street, but it was pretty obvious they were hunters. She was going to ask another question when they heard the lamp fall. She stood up in front of Jaxon and his dad, pulling out her gun and aiming it at the door. “Go over to the window. Climb down the tree. Go to this motel room and stay there. If I’m not there in two hours, call the cops,” She instructed, handing the dad the key to her motel room. The dad took it. Y/N walked in front of them as they made their way to the window. While they were climbing out, the door creaked open. Y/N cocked the gun back. “If you wanna get to them, you have to go through me first,” She said. In walked a man who looked like who Jaxon described. Not only that, but someone she recognized. Behind him followed another man. Y/N looked at the two in shock. No way.
     “Trust me, we’re not threatened by you,” The shorter one said. Y/N was frozen. She didn’t think she’d be seeing them again.
     “Hello?” The taller person said after Y/N was staying quiet for several seconds. Y/N jumped slightly, causing her to drop her gun. She looked down at the gun she dropped and back up at the two men.
     “Cinnamon,” She said. The two exchanged a look. Dean looked back towards Y/N while Sam thought.
     “Is this supposed to be a distraction of some kind?” Dean asked. Sam looked up, remembering the last word in a letter left for them a while ago.
     “Y/N?”
Relax Dude. I’m Fine.
Tumblr media
A little first meet between @ryker-writes Jaxon and my Twst oc Fuyuki
‘Hmm…Silver always says this is a good place to sleep. It’s better than falling asleep somewhere random and bothering everyone. I’ll find my favorite quiet corner!’
The dark haired boy turned the corner and hit straight into a stiff object. Looking up, he saw a blue haired boy scowling at him.
‘He reminds me of if Idia and Leona had a fusion together. Oh crap, I should apologize.’
Fuyuki adjusts his glasses before looking at the boy in the eyes.
“Sorry, didn’t see where I was going.”
“Should’ve watched then. Why do you got glasses for?” He scoffed before putting the book in his hands back
He watched him curiously as a crumbled ball of paper caught his attention. Quietly, he walked towards the table the blue haired was at and opened the ball up.
“Oh, Kalim told me about this. Said Azul was helping him so he didn’t have to wor-“
“When did I say that you could open that…?” He cowered over him, clenching his hands. Fuyuki was already used to this, after all he’s friends with Leona after all. If he wanted to punch him, he would’ve already done it.
“If you wanted to hit me, you already would’ve. I wanted to see. I usually know where all the books are since I tutor Ace and Deuce, I can help you if you want.”
The taller boy is taken back by how motionless he is (and how his eyebags seem to be as bad as his)
He snaps back to reality and rips the paper out his hands.
“No. I don’t need your stupid help on this stupid crappy homework. Just-“ He sighed in his hand. “Just go away. Be scared or something like everyone else is of me.”
Fuyuki sighed before sitting down at his table. “You say you don’t need my help, but you sure you don’t want it?”
“I don’t need stupid help from the damn first year prefect!”
“Relax dude.”
“I’m fine.”
“…I just hope you don’t become the next overblot. I’m not leaving either way, Crowley’s outside and I really really don’t need more work to do.”
“…He’s outside?”
“Mmh. So I don’t have anything else to do. So let me try to help.”
“….fine.” He sits down at the table with an unhappy look
“You know I’m the prefect right? Well, at least you know that but let me introduce myself if you’re going to hate me. The names Amamiya Fuyuki.”
“Amamiya? So you’re the herbivore that Leona’s constantly talking about. He says you’re a little brat.”
“That’s accurate.”
“…Jaxon.”
“Huh?”
“Jaxon is my name.”
“Cool.”
“You don’t care or are you just trying to test your guts out? “Oooh I’m not scared of the kid who got expelled.” Jaxon asked incredulously
“Expelled? Ohh, you’re Crowley’s so-“
“No I am not his son.”
“The expelled kid who Ace and Deucey told me about…I wonder why Riddle told them to back off. You seem fine.”
“…What the hell…?”
“Deuce used to be a delinquent too. Epel and Jack are aggressive when they want to be. Leona likes to growl orders at me sometimes. I’m pretty sure you’re not as aggressive if you haven’t picked a fight already.”
Jaxon stood there, suspiciously staring at him. Fuyuki stared back
“So…you gonna stand there and having a staring contest or let me help you study? I’m not a second or third year, but I can at least try to help.”
Shaking his head out of his thoughts, he sits across from Fuyuki opening his text books and notebooks.
“Alright, so the Sorcerer of Sands and the King of Beasts have similar stories and upbringing…write a paragraph for 5 similarities you see.”
‘…You’re weird Fuyuki.’
‘This Jaxon guy is strange.’
‘He’s not that bad.’
