He’s blushing a little again. “It’s fine. I live alone anyway so it’s not like I’m worrying anyone by staying out this late anyway.” He nods and takes your phone, typing his number out on the screen. He checks it to make sure that he’s given you the correct one. “Yeah, I’ll catch you... uh, later I guess?“ He shrugs before giving you a small wave and going out. He makes his way back home at a leisurely pace, thinking about what you said earlier. “Pretty sweet?” Maybe his gut instinct was right in telling him to agree to help you. You seem interesting and you aren’t intimidated at the sight of him. He doesn’t admit it to himself but he can’t wait to see or hear from you later.

Nagisa sits up and can’t hold back his joyous laughter at your funny analogy, his usual joyful nature now returning to him since he’s more awake now. “You know I’m not that strong, Jay-chan~” he smiles at you and climbs out of bed, not really ashamed as he now stood in front of you in only his penguin print shorts that he sleeps in. “I’m going to go take a shower now, so be the pal I know you are and tell the guys I’ll meet them in the lobby soon,” he tells you before happily making his way to the bathroom in his room.

MTC has announced initial casting for the American premiere of The Nap, written by Olivier Award nominee Richard Bean, the author of the rollicking, award-winning Broadway comedy One Man, Two Guvnors, and directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan.

The cast of The Nap will feature Alexandra Billings ("Transparent," "Goliath," recipient of the HRC Visibility Award), Tony Award nominee John Ellison Conlee (Murder Ballad, The Full Monty, "Boardwalk Empire"), two-time Tony Award nominee Johanna Day(Proof, Sweat, "Madam Secretary"), four-time and current 2018 United States National Snooker Champion Ahmed Aly Elsayed, Heather Lind (Incognito, Othello, "Turn"), Max Gordon Moore (Saint Joan, Indecent), Bhavesh Patel (Present Laughter, War Horse), Thomas Jay Ryan (The Crucible, In The Next Room or The Vibrator Play, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), and Ben Schnetzer (Sticks and Bones, Pride, The Death and Life of John F. Donovan), with additional cast members to be announced.

Opening MTC's 2018-2019 Broadway season at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre The Napwill now begin previews Wednesday, September 5, 2018 ahead of a Thursday, September 27, 2018 opening night.

Tickets are on sale to the general public beginning Wednesday, August 8 at 10:00am EST.

The Nap is a very funny look at the world of snooker - the British version of pool. Dylan Spokes (Ben Schnetzer), a fast-rising young star arrives for a championship tournament only to be confronted by the authorities warning him of the repercussions of match fixing. Before he knows it, Dylan's forced into underhanded dealings with a cast of wildly colorful characters that include his ex-convict dad (John Ellison Conlee), saucy mum (Johanna Day), quick-tongued manager (Max Gordon Moore) and a renowned gangster (Alexandra Billings), to boot. It's a fast-paced comedy thriller where, in an exciting twist, the tournament unfolds live on stage. In its British premiere, The Guardian raved, "Ingenious," The Observer cheered, "Outrageously funny," and The Daily Mail called The Nap "brilliant and terrifically inventive." Directing is Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan.

The Nap's creative team includes David Rockwell (scenic design), Kaye Voyce (costume design), Justin Townsend (lighting design), Lindsay Jones (sound design), Anne Ford-Coates (hair and make-up design), Ben Furey (dialect coach), and Thomas Schall (fight director).

The Actor And The Dog Lover Part 2

Jais’ POV As soon as I get on the road to my flat I look in the backseat and see Brutus asleep I smile when I think about how today could've been so different. I wasn't planning on getting a dog or even looking, to be honest, but when you're living in a new city hundreds of miles away from your family it gets lonely. I also coincidentally couldn't get the girl with the lavender hair outta my mind so of course, I was surprised when I see she works at the one place I was recommended to by my MTC cast mates. I finally reach my flat and the first thing I do is let Brutus go to the bathroom when he's finished I bring him and everything I got for him upstairs and get him situated. As soon as I go to give him food and water I see I get a new text on my mobile that reads "Hi Jai this is Eros I forgot to remind you that we give a trial of twelve days so if by any means you have to give Brutus back to us it is perfectly okay, also I can't wait for next Friday” I go back to filling Brutus’ water and food bowls while I'm doing it I can't stop smiling. I start making dinner and watch as Brutus gets comfortable with his new home which is temporary for the both of us till I can finish with both “Macbeth” and “Storm Boy”. Once I'm finished with dinner I start to clean up my mess and getting ready for tomorrow for another great week on Macbeth. I give my leftovers to Brutus and quickly scratch his back while I put the rest of the dishes in the dishwasher. I'm also contemplating on reading more scripts or just relaxing with Brutus when I get distracted with thoughts of Eros. I start thinking about her tan complexion and the way her green eyes sparkled with so much emotion and her body that I couldn't wait to get my hands on. My family and some of my mates know that I love a girl with curves and a nice bum. I lose my train of thought when I feel Brutus scratching on my leg and that's the sign that he has to go to the bathroom again. So I grab my carton of cigarettes and lighter and Brutus’ leash and we both go outside and feel the winter air on our bodies and it feels amazing to clear my head. I've gotten ready for bed and I quickly grab my mobile and write “ Good night” to Eros when I've done that I call Brutus up to my bed. I let him get situated and find the perfect spot which is upright against my back and as I'm about to drift off I hear my mobile ping with a message from Eros “Good night Jai ;)” I look behind me to tell Brutus good night and scratch his hind side. I fall into a deep warm sleep with thoughts of Eros.

"I tried to be nice." I called, entering his room with a smirk. "They gave me a key, knew you wouldn't get up." I grabbed a pillow that had been tossed aside during the night, climbed onto the bed and gently tossed it onto Nagisa's head. "Cmon! How can I cheer for you if you gonna stay in bed all day?" -Jay

Nagisa swiftly removes the blanket from atop himself, revealing his messy head of blond hair and his lips not formed in a childish pout. “Okay, fine,” he says and sits up, stretching his arms above his head and letting out a groan as he does so. He wasn’t much of a morning person, especially when he wakes up before the time he usually does. 

“Hey, Jay?…Carry me to the bathroom,” he smiles up at you pleadingly, obviously joking but still wanting to see your reaction to his request.(Btw Jay, do you mind giving me your pronouns? I forgot to mention that in your first ask ^^)
