🍇💘 happy rural dionysia! 💘🍇

This is my altar for today! Theres a candle for Dionysus in the middle (back), bracelet I made for him on the left, fluorite hearts carving on the right, and a peen shaped cookie in the middle (front)

As for dionysia activities, today I’ve prayed to him and accidentally fell asleep, made sugar cookies (with vanilla frosting & sprinkles), read hymns, prayed again, and now I’m probably gonna play some video games and maybe later watch a movie :3

I think I'm gonna add Basil to the infection AU but not the pony version of him. Could be fun to make him come from the dragon lands as some freak ass dragon with extra arms instead of wings.

Yknow... I used to really like my blue-grey eyes. I thought they were nice but I'm starting to feel a bit- self conscious? Been seeing a lot of posts making fun of blue eyes, how people woth them supposedly stare in weird ways, saying characters shouldn't be allowed to be made with them, how they're creepy, ugly ect. On top of just people irl saying the same things.

I know they're not directed at me and are likely mostly jokes but still... it's wearing on me a bit.

I wanted to get a little present for Dionysus for rural dionysia/christmas, so I got this! It’s fabric (cotton) with a lovely design of Dionysus embroidered on it with velcro so you can fasten it around one of those prayer candles you can find at dollar stores. I absolutely love candles, I burn them for my deities all the time, especially Dionysus, and I thought this was such a cool and unique idea. Plus, I love supporting small businesses making cool handmade pagan stuff :3

Gonna be real.

I quite enjoyed the Fallout TV series. Obviously it had its problems as any show does but I still found it interesting and fun to watch. I am disappointed we didn't get any Deathclaws but I'll live.

Obviously I'm no expert on writing or story but it definitely could've been a lot worse.

I'm excited to see where it goes!

I have been pondering my ESO lads... my sweet lil Vestige. And how I remember seeing/discussing a headcannon/ponderings about how the Vestige is functionally immortal due to having their soul yoinked out and shoved back in.

So here are my thoughts that no one asked for.

1. They are essentially immortal. Able to zip back to life with a soul gem or a nearby wayshrine. But they will still age so in order to maintain a youthful appearance and function they need to consume those soul gems occasionally. Not like- eat them but use them the way one would on an enchanted weapon.

2. They have become a sort of battlefield legend. During battles that they know they should pick a side on they’ll just appear, clean house and leave without a trace. No true affiliation- they’ve just learned how to spot a big bad before they bad it up and take care of things.

3. When our other legendary heroes appear (Nerevarine, HoK, Dragonborn) they will help them out with small things. Cleaning up little stray side quests. Doing research or them and sending letters with useful info or just buying some supplies and quietly delivering them to them. As well as offering tips on how to avoid getting got by the daedra.

4.Or maybe they’ll just settle into the country side and watch things unfold. They’ve had enough saving the world. It’s time for someone else to do it for once.

Anyway. Time to stop rambling. If anyone has a player character from the other games I would love to try to come up with ways for Albus to help them out with their fetch quests and research quests. I think it’d be fun.
