For me this is even weirder, because in German we don’t even have this distinction at all. They’re all “Taube”, so I never understood this city pigeon discrimination haha. They’re all friends, you’re right. And even if one poops on you one day, you can just....you know, wash it off. You won’t die.

Shango Snake-Eye. Actually, that’s one of his best tools. Really high-grade Loa Dust. Easy to pass off as an unfortunate demise due to overdose, a tragic accident.

Has bad luck

I’m pretty sure Llovyn Arendur has the worst luck. He gets a mind-rotting slow-acting spell put on him by a necromancer, gets arrested for a crime he committed while utterly disoriented, only avoids execution because a whole ass dragon burnt the damn town down, finds out he can eat dragon souls but that now means he has to save the world (he’s still got the spell on him, mind you, can barely see, and doesn’t even know what his name is anymore), gets his mind and vision back because of the Elder Scroll just in time to become Archmage (that’s the high point in this story), saves the world only to get turned by a vampire lord, immediately exsanguinates his dear friend and lover Erandur in a fugue of hunger... blah blah blah fast forward to finding out he can become a literal dragon but the transformation is so taxing that his mer body immediately begins to fail him with a quickness.

So, yanno.
