I normally write from an "omniscient" view point, so I don't really use like "character povs"

3. how you feel about your current WIP

Currently I'm working on my rewrite and I forgot how much I loved working on it. We are on ep. 27 though, which means we're getting to the mental hospital scene soon so that'll be fun. But I forgot how much fun it is to write it as well as liveblog/rewatch. God I love this stupid drama so damn much

5. first sentence of the fifth paragraph of an unpublished WIP

The only unpublished wip I have rn has a lot of dialogue and not so much paragraphs...but this is the closest "paragraph" I could find

         “You’re right, I’m not” he agreed, just as Chen Yuzhi tripped over a rock and fell, causing him to cry out in pain before he rolled over to see the wolf coming straight towards him, its teeth barred.

For headcanons, Times New Roman, size 12, for actual fic writing Helvetica size 11

9. start to finish, how long did it take you to write the last fic you posted?

Hmm...last fic I posted (not updated cuz updated was 恨君不似江楼月 | Killer and Healer) was Second Chances. That fic, from start to finish...took me about...maybe 3-5 days?

10. what is the longest amount of time you’ve let a draft rest before you finished it?

Hmmm...good question. Maybe a few days...but it's very rare, unless a fic is fighting with me too much. I mainly work on the draft until it's done and then I post it (but I of course go over it one more time before I actually post, just to make sure I didn't misspell or forgot a word or something)

13. a fandom you’re thinking about writing for

Currently really only writing for CSI: Miami (trying to finish my multi-chapter fic, we're almost done), Killer and Healer, and S.C.I. I do have one more fic to post for White Cat Legend but other than that...I'm not really planning on writing for any new fandoms

16. favorite place to write

Either in my armchair by the window or in my bed. I can control the noise at home, so it makes it easy, and I don't have to worry about people trying to read my laptop screen

17. talk about your writing and editing process

Oof...there's not much to talk about. I get the idea, let it ruminate in my head, kind of start seeing scenes play out in my head/in dreams and then I just sort of...write. I've stopped trying to outline stuff because that just seems to fuck with my flow, so we don't do that anymore. But anyways, I just write until I'm content/I've told the story I want to tell, I'll bring up the "post a new work" page on ao3, type out all the necessary information, past the fic into the box, then copy and paste it into my notes app (cuz sometimes the formating from copying it from word to ao3 fucks up my indents) and then do a quick re-read/edit if I miss stuff and then I post. The only time I'll ever send a fic to someone (aka @ahhhnorealnamesallowed) is when I need a second pair of eyes/I'm sick of the fic but other than that...that's kinda how my process works

19. the most interesting topic you’ve researched for a fic

Oh, if you've read my fics you know that I research a lot of stuff for anything regarding my case fics, but I think the most interesting one is for my fic Violence Is Never the Answer...Except When It Is where I researched step by step instructions on how to clean a katana. There's never a dull moment in my fics, I promise you that, but that one was probably really interesting...and really in-depth

20. in what year did you publish your first fic?

Lord...like 2012? It was a fic that I wrote for a Kakavege fanart that I saw on Deviantart. I loved it and then messaged the artist if I could write a fic for it. They said yes and even linked it to their art. My deviantart account has since been deleted but that was definitely my first like true fanfic

I have no idea how to describe my writing...other than maybe out there, fantastical, exciting?

Oh yeah, as long as they don't ask what I'm working on nor do they look at my laptop

Now...we all know that I'm very proud of 恨君不似江楼月 | Killer and Healer (and really, I should be) but I'm also really proud of For All Eternity because I flipped what I normally would do for Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi when writing xianxias/wuxias (I made Jiang Yuelou the immortal this time while Chen Yuzhi is the demon instead of the other way around) and yet I STILL kept them true to their personalities. So...yeah. I'm really happy with that fic and I hope more people read it because it's good (it's also inspired by Chinese Paladin 4 which was Mao's latest drama and my god was he gorgeous in that drama. He was also my favorite character but no one is surprised by this at all)

1.7476: I think this is good to watch for context. First meeting of Doc Green and Lewis, the tension Begins

1.7480: The real beginning of the Jasmine-Lewis romance I feel. Also, he wears a great outfit in this one. Also this ep provides some good emotional context for Tori and Christian which raises the stakes for later. Watch this one.

1.7481: Here’s where Lewis Mean Mugging in the Background starts, my favorite thing. We learn why he doesn’t like Doc Green. Watch.

Live blog for 1.7482-1.7491

1.7482: More mean mugging and he starts to push Jaz on how he believes Doc Green is incompetent. Couple good moments (and a good outfit) but you can prob skip.

1.7488: Some very cute Jaz-Lewis moments (and another good outfit), and they have a moment at the end of ep doing a Flirt. Unless you’re really on this ship tho, can skip.

1.7489: Jaz and Lewis hold hands and talk about how they Like each other but want to take it slow. That’s about it. Can skip.

1.7491: This is the Tori and Christian engagement party ep. Lewis is mostly in the background of this one, though there is a very cute scene with him, Jaz and a baby. The real shit starts at the very end, but can skip if you like b/c the big drama happens next ep.

1.7501: Doc Green and Lewis have a very heavy convo that seems to work things out (spoiler alert, it doesn’t) and Jaz and Lewis finally have their kiss~ Watch.

1.7502: The cuties (Jaz-Lewis) are being cute, but nothing much else. Can skip.

1.7518: This is it, the Murder Boi comes out. Big ol sociopath energy. Must watch.

1.7524: This is the Punch episode. Lewis taunts Doc Green like a little shit and gets decked. Also it’s heavily implied that Lewis is murdering Doc Green’s patients. Must watch.

1.7525: Jaz tries to convince Lewis not to file a report against Doc Green but he ain’t havin’ it. Not much else. Can skip if you really want.

1.7530: Lewis really starting to unravel, some great trembling with rage shots of Luke. Must watch.

Okay, so the liveblogging begins. Not the whole episode, but the stuff I care about. Which is basically all the women who aren’t teenagers, and especially Lilith. Obviously.

Part 3 Episode 1

Hilda having no idea what to say when she answers the phone because so much has changed

When Roz suggests cheerleading, Sabrina’s expression makes her look like Lilith.

And then Mary comes in. Mary is no longer Principal. And says she has to come to teach, which fits in with how I theorised that Principal was something Lilith would enjoy but not Mary. And apparently she’s been feeling a bit fixated on Dante’s Inferno. Wonder why? Also Michelle playing someone so soft spoken against her Lilith performance is just a great display for what a fab actor she is

"Well I can’t remember the last three years of my life. But clearly I’ve been busy...doing things" Is such a perfectly delivered line. Like Mary has clearly found out all the shit Lilith has been doing and is like ‘what the hell have I been up to?’

And she’s been having nightmares about demons and hellscapes. And is using Inferno as therapy. MARY IS THE ONE WHO GIVES SABRINA THE IDEA HOW TO GET TO HELL via artist work. Oh Mary.

Sabrina is like ‘omg you’re a genius, thanks I know what to do now!’ but then she pauses, because she sees Mary bite her lip and she’s like ‘wait it is you right?’ and Mary’s utter confusion when she’s like ‘who else would I be?’

Dorian is getting pimples due to no Dark Lord. 

SABRINA’S WEIRD SHOES ARE DEAD PEOPLE SHOES

Zelda did a prayer to the Dark Lord for the coven, but didn’t like it, so Hilda is the one who suggests praying to Lilith, but Zelda won’t do it. Also I think Hilda is planning to poison the whole Council. 

OMG PRUDENCE DISGUISED AS A WHITE MIDDLE AGED NEW ORLEANS WOMAN

Sabrina being like ‘don’t look at the crucified souls’ but Theo sees his Uncle Jesse and so runs off the path they’re not meant to stray from. They find out Lilith put him there. 

AH LILITH RULING HELL. MY JAM. 

‘what’s this now? the child of morningstar is here? i’m not surprised. it was only a matter of time’ Lilith knows Sabrina so well and immediately guesses she’s here for Nick. SHE HAS NICK’S TONGUE IN A FUCKING JAR. No denying the woman is having fun. And she has no plan to stop now, so she plans the forest of torment to stop Sabrina. Naughty Lilith. I love her. 

OMG HILDA IS GLAMOURED TO LOOK FREAKING BLACKWOOD. AND I LOVE RICHARD COYLE ACTING LIKE HILDA. CAN WE HAVE THIS MORE OFTEN? I WANT TO HEAR HIM SAY HUNKYDORY AND YUMMY CAKE AGAIN. 

This whole thing is like a more twisted version of Wizard of Oz. Blood Red Road. Tin Man. Jesse was clearly the scarecrow. The tin man is Tommy.

‘they escaped the woodsman you say. it’s time someone teaches these brats a lesson’ Lilith, you sound like Regina Mills. And I love that. But Regina Mills ended up loving everyone, so be aware Lilith. 

Mambo Marie is sassy and french speaking and I get why Zelda ends up snogging her

LILITH HAS SENT THEM TO BE TORMENTED BY A HELLISH VERSION OF BAXTER HIGH. SHE KNOWS TEENAGERS SO WELL. 

AND THERE’S HAWTHORNE WITH HIS RIBS RIPPED OPEN. 

AND JAZ’S GRANDMOTHER IS THERE!!! OMG IS THIS HELL LIKE THE GOOD PLACE WHERE NO ONE GETS INTO THE FREAKING GOOD PLACE? JAZ’S GRANDMOTHER WAS BAD ASS????

So Lilith has fought off the three kings before. 

She isn’t keen on fighting them off again especially as Sabrina is also here to take her ‘favourite pet’. But then she clicks, and realises she can make this work to her advantage.

Hilda as Blackwood is just hysterical, especially at the meeting. Zelda just glaring at her. 

The council is asking about fading powers, because lack of a Morninstar seems to be draining people’s gifts. And then the council lie and say they were talking to the Dark Lord this morning and Zelda is like wtf you fucking hypocrites. This is what makes Zelda decide to reform the church of night entirely. 

Just as Sabrina et al are about to kill them, Lilith’s minion arrives to save them

ZELDA SAYS HAIL LILITH IN HER PRAYERS TO LEAD THE WITCHES. AND LILITH FUCKING HEARS IT AND SHE GETS EMOTIONAL. THE PRAYER IS SO FUCKING GOOD AND LILITH CAN HEAR EVERY WORD IN HELL AND IT’S MAKING HER SO EMOTIONAL TO HEAR EVERYONE SAYING PRAISE LILITH AND PRAISE MADAM SATAN. THIS MOMENT IS LIKE EVERYTHING. BECAUSE SHE’S GENUINELY PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY EFFECTED BY THE FIRST TIME ANYONE HAS PRAYED TO HER

“Did you hear that? They’re praying. To me” And her voice breaks as she says it. And then Sabrina comes in. 

And we find out the reason Lilith took his tongue is because he’s constantly battling with Lucifer and she don’t wanna hear that shit.

All the food in hell is rotting but only Roz can see that. 

OMG LILITH SAYS SHE LIKES LOOKING LIKE MS WARDWELL ‘A FACE LIKE THIS IS HARD TO BEAT’. And Sabrina nods in agreement. 

Lilith says the heirarchy don’t like  non-morningstar ruling so in exchange for Nick and Jesse’s soul, she wants Sabrina to crown her Queen of Hell. There was such a level of subtle comedy to this scene and I loved it

ONE OF THE FUCKING KICKS SAYS ‘LILTIH IS A CONCUBINE NOT A QUEEN’. Erm fuck you too. ‘she was lucifer’s whore’. excuse you, fuck off. 

So Lilith says ‘who’s your alternative?’ and that’s when they bring in Caliban, who plans to make earth the tenth circle of hell. Lilith and Sabrina have matching expressions of Hell, as both realise this means they both would lose everything and then LUCIFER FUCKING SUMMONS SABRINA INTO THE ACHERON. 

Sabrina repeats she doesn’t want the crown. Lucifer tells her that it’s due to the bloodline that the balance is off so Sabrina has to have the crown if Lucifer hasn’t.

“I do lie and often, but not about this”

Lucifer also says, fairly, that only a true Queen has ultimate power and no matter what Sabrina says or does, the demons will never accept Lilith as Queen. But Nick tells Sabrina not to do it. Nick tells her to forget about him, And Sabrina says ‘if being Queen is the only way to get you out of Hell’. Yes, it’s always about a boy. But she won’t listen to the boy telling her to not do it. 

Sabrina claims the throne in a badass way and Lilith is just like erm wtf are you doing and then when she says I’ll rule with the help of Lilith as my Regent, Lilith does the biggest eye roll ever before being like yep, yep I am. Her regent, yep.

Lilith is not happy about the step down to Regent

Also Sabrina’s friends know Sabrina better than Sabrina does.

So if you need ideas for helping get a season 2 for the brave which sounds good but I’ve never heard of and I relate to ur pain of waiting for a season 2 that might not happen. U could try a rewatch. While we were waiting for news about timeless we held a rewatch where everyone would watch it at the same time once a week in order and liveblog on tumblr, Twitter etc. Idk how much of that influenced nbc’s decision but it could work

Thank you! That sounds really helpful and I think a rewatch would do wonders!! I’m a huge timeless fan also and when it got cancelled I was heartbroken then renewed so damn happy lol. Also, I highly recommend The Brave!! The ship Jaz x Adam remind me of Lucy and Wyatt sooo much!! :)

okay, so i’m only two parts in now and i feel like i need to keep a list of quotes that i’m pretty sure “straight” girls don’t say to their bestfriends:

“but truth be told, it makes me feel good to have you near me” - this sounds pretty gay, how close would you like her to be to you flor, can you give us some more indepth details? we’d like to know.

“but i don’t want anyone to come in between us jaz” - i’ll give her props that this isn’t an inherently gay thing, not wanting anyone to come between you and your friends. but the way she emotes it is.

the entire scene where flor gives jazmin a massage and then they curl up in bed together and snuggle - needs no words, but they are literally spooning. literally spooning! and flor is the big spoon. which is very surprising.

and now they’ve kissed... i really hope this rests my case for flor being the gayest, and they don’t go back to the “we are just such close friends” bit.
