The power spec of the legend so far is 215ps. It was enough power for the 1570kg body. Moreover, the performance curve drew a mild arc from low speed to high speed, matching the character of this car, and it was possible to drive smoothly in the city.

However, it is also true that there are drivers who want more power and more torque, just like Best Car readers. Therefore, a new engine appeared with a minor change.

The power is 235ps, which is about 10% higher. Since the maximum output of the same engine so far is 215ps, it is an increase of 20%. Torque is slightly reduced to 29.5kgm. However, even with the increased horsepower, the fuel efficiency of the 10/15 mode is about 10% higher than that of the 10 mode.

It improved even if it measured by the code. It is equipped with "α Touring" which is newly added to the lineup. Tuning extends to the intake valves, exhaust system, camshaft, and even the linkage of the accelerator pedal, making fine settings. And the undercarriage has also been tuned to match the increased power of this engine.

215/55R16 tires matched to 16-inch aluminum, newly designed bushes, large-capacity disc brakes, etc. This is a must-see content for runners.

Well, this "α Touring" is the same, but in this minor change, the fuzzy control automatic that first appeared in the Galant is set for all cars (no MT).

The computer infers the driver's intentions based on information from sensors installed in seven locations on the vehicle body, and performs the optimum shift. It has been released as I would like to report on the effects in the next report.
