Baby, I’m Jealous

Headcanons for when a collection of my favorite JJBA characters get jealous (whether they’d like to admit it or not). She/her pronouns used for reader.

He’s a love ‘em and leave ‘em type

He doesn’t get jealous

At least, that’s what he tells himself when he sees you with some smooth-talking son-of-a-bitch from across the bar

He grips his drink angrily, chugging it down in one fell swoop

Just because you two weren’t official, more like a friends with benefits situation, doesn’t mean this asshole had any right to speak to you, much less caress your hips like he wanted to get you out of your dress

Besides, he didn’t like this guy

A feeling in his gut told him he was gonna break your heart

Not on his watch

You didn’t have time to think before Hol was wrapping his arm around your waist from behind, pulling you against his seething chest

“I don’t know what the hell you think yer doin’ with my girl, but if you don’t get outta my sight by the count of three—”

He summons his stand

“I’m gonna pump ya full of lead”

The bastard is gone before you could process what happened

“Was he botherin’ ya, sweetheart?” he breathes against your ear

“Was he bothering you?” you replied, turning to smirk at him

“I didn’t know you could get so jealous, cowboy”

“Just wanna make sure my cowgirl is okay”

You roll your eyes

“Whatever you say. Just next time, wait until I score a free drink before scaring off the asshole, okay?”

He’s a proper gentleman (trademark)

But deep down

There’s definitely a part of him that comes out when he sees someone particularly close to you

He convinces himself its to keep you safe and sound

But he knows you’re fine

He just wants you in his arms instead of across the ballroom chatting with another man

Quickly, the man backs off, leaving you alone

It doesn’t take you long to figure out what scared him off

You turn around to see your Jonathan with a deadly stare

He immediately smiles once he has your attention

You walk over, shooting him a look

“JoJo, sweetheart. You didn’t scare off that man, did you? The one I was talking to?”

He places his hands in yours, pulling you close as he presses a kiss to your forehead

“What are you talking about, love?”

“Jonathan.”

“I thought he might be making you uncomfortable.”

“Jonathan Joestar. Be honest with me.”

“I didn’t like how close he was to you. . .”

He pulls away to give you his usual puppy dog eyes

For such a giant, looming hunk of a man, he made you melt into a puddle with his cuteness

“I apologize for my actions. I don’t know what came over me”

You press a long kiss to his lips

“Just save that energy for our wedding night, alright, JoJo?”

His face erupts in red

“Aren’t you bold tonight, my love?”

You shoot him a wink

“I liked the fire in your eyes, what can I say?”

For such a bold and flirty individual, he sure is a hypocrite

Of course, he’s now only flirty with you, his one and only

But still

When he spots a barista write his number on your coffee cup, he can’t help himself

Like the dramatic knight in shining armor he is

He stands from the table, swooping over to where you stand at the pick-up counter. You blink in surprise

“I said I could grab the coffee—”

He cuts you off with a hand on your back, the other sliding to grip your thighs. In the blink of an eye, he’s got you dipped back in the middle of a Starbucks

He never ceases to surprise you

Of course, you both lean in for a kiss

You have a feeling you know what this sudden romantic action is about

You pull away before he can deepen the kiss

“Jean, we are in public, you dork. What was that all about?”

“I just wanted to show my love, cherie,” he says

“Right,” you reply, steadying yourself upright before grabbing your coffee. You point to the number

“It had nothing to do with this?”

He feigns a gasp

You roll your eyes

“You’re a terrible faker, you dumbass.”

You plant a kiss on his lips

“But still. You’re cute when you get jealous.”

“That wasn’t jealousy!”

“Whatever you say.”

“I swear it wasn’t—hey! Don’t walk away from me! Come back!”

Joseph Joestar (p 3 version of course)

He likes to say he’s too old for childish shit like jealousy

But there’s still occasions where it gets to him

Especially when you look so nice in your work attire

A simple pencil skirt and white blouse drives him crazy

You only get one step out the door before lilac vines ensnare your waist, pulling you back inside and against a familiar broad chest

“What do you think you’re doing, mister?” you ask, eyes still focused on the still open door

“Who are you trying to impress dressed like that, sweetheart?”

“These are my usual work clothes, Joseph.”

“And still, you drive me crazy wearing them.”

You roll your eyes, turning to flick his forehead

“Can I go do my job now?”

He wraps his arms around you, pulling you in for a kiss

You have to stop his hands from exploring down your lower back

You pull away

“Are you seriously getting jealous of nobody right now?”

“Nobody? I’m jealous of every lucky bastard you walk past today. It’s not fair”

“I can’t just wear a robe to work. Besides, you’re the only one who gets to see me with these clothes off”

You pat his cheek, stepping out of his grasp

“I’ll see you when I get home, okay? I’ll bring dessert”

He stares as you saunter out the door, giving him a wink that makes him swoon

“You’re such a tease, (Y/N)!”

Guido Mista

He tries to control himself as much as possible

His rambunctious stand, however?

You can’t go out wearing anything remotely revealing without them fussing over you and everyone else

“Mista!!!!! Do you see what she’s wearing? What if she finds someone else looking like that and falls in love with them instead?”

“Yeah! What if someone tries to hit on her? Can we shoot them? Is that okay? Mista!”

You hear their whines as you finish applying your lipstick

“Hey,” you speak up, “I’m happily dating Guido Mista, my lovely boyfriend. I’m not going anywhere, guys. Promise.”

“Mista!! How’d you get so lucky!!!!”

Mista is leaning against the doorway, staring as you stand from your vanity

You give him a twirl in your new dress

“How do I look?”

The pistols have to snap him out of his daze

“Holy shit.”

You laugh, planting a kiss on his cheek, leaving a stain of your lipstick on his sweaty face

He is down bad

He vaguely thinks about begging you to stay home and let him rip that gorgeous outfit off of you

But he knows how much you’re looking forward to girl’s night

“I’m leaving with the girls. I’ll be back by midnight, okay? Keep the bed warm and I might just meet you in it.”

He nods eagerly

JoJo's Part 5 Bucci Gang as Options in a Dating Sim

Fandom: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Character(s): Giorno Giovanna, Bruno Bucciarati, Leone Abbacchio, Guido Mista, Pannacotta Fugo, Narancia, Trish Una

Type of Request: Headcanons

Note(s): Ngl, this is a really cute thing to do anon. I can see this eventually being a bit tricky if I have no ideas at the time, but I do appreciate this now! I'll just use this to set up my self-indulgent idea.

Giorno

Quiet and keeps to himself. Only seen really enjoying life when he's with his closest friends. All the girls want him, but he is very uninterested (but he's polite about it at least!)

An interested relationship with his dad. It's not bad, but home life is difficult. Giorno recently learned somethings about his father that has made him very iffy. His dad still loves Giorno very much though.

His route probably begins if Player has high Intelligence stat or something. Giorno seems perfect, but his grades aren't there. Which is weird because he is very smart (and you learn the reason his grades are dropping is because he just doesn't turn in his homework or care enough about assignments).

Of course, you have the ClassicTM of some random girl being jealous of your relationship with Giorno, tells you to stay away, Giorno finds out and says to ignore her (he deals with the problem behind your back by calling the girl out, much to her embarrassment)

Maybe random Dio cameo just to freak out Players with how ridiculously hot Giorno's dad is. There're many comments online about "Forget Giorno, I wanna date his dad."

Bruno

Older student that helps your teacher in class. He's very kind and friendly to all the students (except when they aren't kind back). Very helpful. It's easy to see why several students have crushes on him, but he smiles and waves them off.

I can see his route beginning with you r running into him outside of class and seeing how tired he really is. Like his cheerful facade in school is a mask he wears. He's still kind and patient, but he also has some built up anger from past things.

You learn he lost his parents when he was very young and ended up in the foster system, which definitely affected quite a bit of his upbringing. But he even tried to keep a friendly face to help the other kids there.

You also learn that it's why he's so friendly to a wide range of people. Yeah some of the students in your class are annoying, but Bruno doesn't know what they might have been through/are currently going through.

Probably the easiest one to get romantic points with. At least, you know that you lose points with any option talking down about others so it's a process of elimination from there.

Abbacchio

Older student as well, in Bruno's class (has a cameo in Bruno's route and Bruno has a cameo in his later on). You probably end up meeting him from choosing to hang out with Bruno. Abbacchio doesn't really talk to you, mostly ignores you (which Bruno says that Leone is a nice guy, just going through some things).

Probably would be classified as the Bad Boy option, but that's not really what he's going for. His looks and attitude give him that rep.

His route begins by you going to find Bruno's usual spot you hang out in and there's only Abbacchio. You can choose to not talk to him or ask about Bruno. Talking gets points even though his answer is to be annoyed.

Definitely a bit tricky to romance at first until you learn what options to say. Likes being reassured, but not to a "You have done nothing wrong!" level. Also doesn't mind initiating conversations as long as it's not a dumb "So how are you doing?"

His route can seem slow burn or like not a lot is happening as opposed to other routes, but there are subtle things, and his character portrait does have tiny smiles or little ear blushes that people spam about online.

Definitely some grumbling from him if Giorno is another character you have a high relationship stat with.

Fugo

Ends up being your tutor if your intelligence stat is falling. Absolutely has a crush on you instantly if you're sweet and nice to him, but he doesn't do anything about it.

Tries to keep being the sweet, nice tutor but if your intelligence stat isn't at a certain level on a certain day (I figure this would be a dating sim that does the Day 1 through Day whatever as the ending) then you notice him losing patience and starting to be more of an ass with asking if you even give a damn.

And if your intelligence stat is what you focus on so you don't get the angry Fugo scenes then there's still a scene in his route where you see him going off just so you know how angry he can get. There's a lot of apologies from him with you seeing him that way. Honestly his route can be a bit triggering to some.

Like he'll never be the abusive romance option, but I'm not going to lie and say he immediately gets over his anger or whatever because of you. He will work on it as you advance with his route because he doesn't like the idea of upsetting or scaring you.

If you choose the wrong dialogue option, then you get a "Fugo walked away" because he thinks that's better than showing you his angry side all the time. There are so many memes about it on the internet.

Mista

I like the idea of the Player being told rumors of Mista and getting the option to say, "I can change him." and if that option is picked then the Player is instantly locked out of the relationship (flirting can happen and Player can go on one date with Mista, but nothing comes of it).

He's talked about being a playboy but he's really not. Like rumors are that he constantly dates a new girl each day or that he doesn't seem to give a damn about classes, but that's also not true.

Mista does flirt a bit when meeting the Player, but if you tell him off or seem shy then he laughs it off and tells you not to worry and that he'll try to not make you uncomfortable.

He's honestly just a dork and yeah, he's flirty, but it is mostly for fun, and he doesn't mind if nothing comes out of it. Mista does feel guilty if someone does get the wrong idea of his flirting and he does apologize.

While he seems like his route should be easy, it's also one of the more difficult ones. Very much a balance of engaging in his flirtiness but also being able to tell him to focus on other things and genuinely getting to know him.

Narancia

Kind of like Giorno, his route happens depending on your intelligence stat, but it doesn't have to be as high as it does with Giorno. Narancia just has abysmal grades, and he really has plans for the future that he wants to achieve, but learning is difficult for him.

Narancia is a sweetheart, but you need lots of patience. As you get to know Narancia, he starts bringing you sweets and stuff as thanks for tutoring him. Might ask you out to a movie as well.

He's very quick to crush on you and you do have the option to ask to slow down a bit, but he's just very sweet and does his best to make you proud.

He's the one that introduces you to Fugo, which can lead to the Love Triangle or just Fugo's route.

While Narancia can be a very easy route to complete, going with him causes you to end up in tricky situations due to your intelligence stat not increasing due to Narancia wanting to skip school with you to hang out all the time (if you're romancing Fugo too then it makes things extra tricky).

Trish

A lot of dating Sims or games with romance are a lot more inclusive now, but back in the day, Trish would be the Token Lesbian option everyone talked about (for better or worse).

Snotty rich girl, you overhear that her friends don't actually like Trish, but her dad has money.

Getting to know her, she's actually shy and sweet. She's just gone through a lot and finds it difficult to trust others. Very much enjoys relying on you as you gain her trust in the route.

Quick to jump to your defense too. There's probably a moment that other snooty girls start talking shit about her and you can step in and when they start talking crap about you then that's when Trish doesn't hold back.

Honestly at the start of her route, she figures you just want to get on her good side for her money. The first hangout causes her to snap at you at the end and throwing a wad of cash at you because that's obviously what you're really after. It ends with apologies and getting a huge stat jump in your relationship with her (you just need to make the right dialogue choices).

BONUS

Definitely some kind of Highschool/College setting (character ages would have to be messed with a bit). Giorno and Trish would be freshman; Bruno and Abbacchio would be Upperclassmen; and Mista, Fugo, and Narancia are in the same class with the Player. (Fugo is so smart he skipped a grade and that's why he's not a freshman)

Love triangle route with Bruno + Abbacchio. Abbacchio doesn't want to get in the way and watches you and Bruno interact from afar. Bruno wants Abbacchio to be happy for once in his life, but Bruno can't help being selfish too.

Love Triangle Route Fugo and Narancia. You have to be on Narancia's route and Narancia is the one that mentions Fugo having a crush on you. Fugo doesn't do anything to mess with it since he likes that Narancia is happy, but you can tell by Fugo's actions and his blushing that he's crushing.

Gonna request a Yandere Mista concept considering that he’d be dangerous in terms of ability despite being laidback most of the time ~~(also because I simp for him, along with requesting very early knowing how fast the request box would be filled by the second it reaches to 5:00 pm)~~

Pairing: Romantic/Platonic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Threats, Manipulation, Violence, Overprotective behavior, Jealousy, Blood, Kidnapping, Delusional behavior, Isolation, Bullet to the leg, Murder implied, Mentioned torture in a few lines, Forced companionship/relationship.

I will admit that out of all the Part 5 characters, Mista is one of the tamest... if you don't look any deeper.

He's very easy-going and relaxed, he appears carefree and just wants to enjoy life's pleasures.

However... you are correct when you say Mista is terrifying due to ability.

He's casual when it comes to violent acts (threats, torture, literal murder).

That's towards those he deems as enemies though.

He's very casual and friendly with his obsession.

He's a confident and good person at heart.

Although, I imagine he'd actually be a bit nervous to speak with his obsession if romantic.

Essentially, Mista is a terrifying to everyone but those close to him.

With his obsession he's sweet and attentive.

To those who try to take his obsession away... he's cold, cruel, and ruthless.

He's straightforward towards most.

If anyone upset his obsession or tried to separate you from him, he'll let them know what they did wrong.

Mista most likely will start with kidnapping who he thinks "hurt you" before "teaching them a lesson".

Mista is definitely a yandere who can be overly affectionate and friendly with his obsession, all while committed various acts of brutality behind the scenes.

Which may or may not include murder.

He's all smiles and maybe even hugs towards you, be you his close friend or crush.

All while he fantasizes about you when cleaning his hands of blood.

It's really unnerving how quick he can go from sweet to violent towards others.

Mista is definitely one to get jealous.

Due to how calm he is, it's more like him silently seething until you give him your attention again.

He could never be mad at you.

Speaking of which, Mista is incredibly delusional about his obsession.

He thinks you can do nothing wrong.

Everyone else has to be at fault.

Plus, he'd also think you two are closer than you are.

Be it really close friends (Platonic) or already dating (Romantic).

He is filled with endless adoration for his dearest.

He just wants to make you happy.

So he both gives off the vibe of "could do no wrong" while also "possessive violent fiend".

Mista would hide the darker things he does from you.

Such as violence or sabotage.

If you found out, he tries to excuse himself in someway.

"It's not what it looks like!" He'd say, pleading for you to believe him.

If that doesn't work... then he'll have to rush things.

He'd try to be "gentle" as he kidnaps you, giving you a comfortable room and visiting you often.

If you ran away, I can see him using his stand to shoot you in the leg... apologizing profusely before dragging you off.

He didn't want things to come to this...

But now you know who he truly is... so he doesn't bother hiding it anymore.

Guido Mista as a yandere

Cw: Murder, Toxic relationships, broken bones, gun violence

He's obsessively loyal Mista's loyalty to his friends is already a prominent trait. As a yandere, this loyalty becomes an obsessive desire to protect and be with his darling.

With his loyalty, he would go to extreme lengths to ensure the safety and happiness of his darling, which usually results in violence towards any threat or in his case... precieved threat.

He's extremely possessive, and it results in wanting to be the sole focus of his Darling's attention, becoming jealous or insecure when others are around.

Similar to traditional yandere characters, Mista has a public and private personality, appearing friendly and charming on the surface but revealing a darker, more possessive side when it comes to his loved one's affection.

He is willing to hurt his darling. He doesn't want to. He really doesn't because he loves them! But they need to see that it's dangerous out there, and a bullet might be in store for their knee caps if they keep trying to leave.

He does let them go out. He knows how important it is to be social, but they always have to be accompanied by him and/or the bullets

In 1962, Federico Fellini placed advertisements in Italian newspapers seeking a woman to play the lead character’s mistress in his next film, which would eventually be titled 8½ and released the following year. The successful candidate, he wrote, should be “somewhat old-fashioned … with a pink-and-white complexion and a small pea-hen’s head on a Rubens body, very soft, flowery, maternal and opulent”.

The director auditioned as many as 5,000 applicants. “An interminable procession of ladies who had deserted their worried husbands and children came forward,” reported the writer Angelo Solmi in 1967. It was rumoured that the whole endeavour was merely a publicity stunt and that all along the role had been earmarked for Sandra Milo.

Milo, who has died aged 90, was a vivacious presence marketed as “the Italian Judy Holliday”. She and Fellini had met on a summer evening in the coastal town of Fregene; she happened to be passing a cafe where he was seated with his screenwriter, Ennio Flaiano, who knew Milo and called her over to introduce them.

Fellini was determined to coax Milo out of her unofficial retirement for the role in 8½ of Carla, mistress of the film-maker Guido (Marcello Mastroianni), who installs her in a nearby hotel while he is preparing his science-fiction epic.

When Fellini offered her the part, she reminded him she had quit the business, following savage reviews for her performance as an aristocrat’s daughter in Vanina Vanini (1961).

However the next morning, she was woken at home by the arrival of the director, his cinematographer and assorted technicians and make-up assistants, who had come to shoot a screen test. “They took me and put that famous little hat on my head,” she said, alluding to Carla’s fluffy white ushanka.

She was dressed in a black redingote festooned with violets; all at once, the lights were on her. “My God, what a thrill,” she recalled. “I felt like that was my world, and those were my people. I felt like I was flying.”

She signed the contract, agreeing to gain weight for the role. Shortly afterwards, she fell pregnant, though Fellini kept her chained to the trough all the same. “Every time Federico sees me off the set he tells me to go eat something,” she complained at the time. “I feel like a Strasbourg goose.”

When she finally emerged on set in costume at Cinecittà, Fellini and Mastroianni told her: “Welcome back. You’re home.”

To the ravishing dreamscape of 8½, which won two Oscars and is widely considered Fellini’s masterpiece, she brought an earthy vitality and rambunctiousness, as well as her unassailable beauty.

Fellini cast her again in his first colour film, Juliet of the Spirits (1965), this time in a tripartite role opposite his wife, Giulietta Masina, as the dissatisfied title character. Milo played Suzy, a hedonistic neighbour who hosts orgies, wears feather boas and plunging necklines, and cavorts in a treetop house where a slide connects her bed directly to a swimming pool. Milo is also seen as Iris, a spirit, and Fanny, a circus ingenue.

He sought to cast her a third time in the autobiographical Amarcord (1973), and even shot a screen test with her. But her husband, increasingly jealous of Fellini, forbade her from accepting. Milo’s declinature, the director said, left him with “an air of melancholy”. He told her: “I have something of a feeling we won’t see each other any more.”

In 1982, she published Caro Federico, a thinly veiled account of her time as the director’s lover. Fellini’s biographer John Baxter described it as “largely imagined”, and even Milo admitted eventually that it had been mostly a work of fiction. Fellini claimed never to have read the book. “I don’t even want to smell it,” he said.

Milo was born in Tunis, and moved with her family to Tuscany during her early childhood. At the age of 15, she wed Cesare Rodighiero, but the marriage was annulled after 21 days. She found early work as a model in Milan and began acting after moving to Rome, making her film debut in the comedy The Bachelor (1955).

Roberto Rossellini helped launch her career with General della Rovere (1959), which starred Vittorio de Sica as a Genoese con-man recruited by the Nazis, but Vanina Vanini was a notorious flop.

Fellini films apart, she gave her finest performance in Claude Sautet’s Classes Tous Risques (1960), in which she played an actor who becomes caught up with a gangster on the run. The film got lost in the shuffle at the time of its release, its elegant classicism upstaged by the more radical and irreverent Breathless, which had opened shortly before, though Sautet’s picture is recognised now as an exemplary policier.

Milo gave up acting for a second time in the early 1970s. Despite returning to the screen at the end of that decade, she was known latterly more for her appearances in gossip columns and on television as a presenter, talkshow guest or reality-show participant.

Reflecting on her time as Fellini’s muse, she confessed it had not always been easy. “Sometimes he’d make me feel indispensable, marvellous, as if I were the only woman he’d ever loved. And then he’d treat me like a nothing, a nobody.” She maintained that she loved him “truly, madly, deeply, stupidly”.

She is survived by three children: Debora, from her relationship with Moris Ergas, who produced films of hers including Generale della Rovere and La Visita (1963); Ciro and Azzurra, from her marriage to Ottavio De Lollis; and by a grandson. She was also briefly married to Jorge Ordoñez in 1990. All her marriages ended in divorce.

Appearance: I have included some Picrew images (all credited with links below the cut) as I suck at drawing people and lack the time at the moment however I hope to draw her in future. She is a goth with plenty of piercings and a cross shaped scar on her face. She has a white streak in her hair that came about naturally but the rest of her hair is black like her parents. She has green eyes and a large hooked nose, she looks a lot like Leone which is what gets Bruno so intrigued when he first meets her.

Background: Grew up with Leone until he left their home in Roma for Napoli to become a cop. Parents were abusive and strict, Leone left because of his sexuality (in this AU he is a gay man however I may write it in later as him coming out as a trans woman to Luna because that's my fave headcanon). Luna discovers that she is a lesbian when she is around 18 and so plans to leave and find Leone. She saves up money to travel to Napoli, she spends some time staying in hotels and looking around, going to the police stations only to find out he left the job. Eventually she bumps into Bruno outside of Libbeccio's and that's how she reunites with Leone. They both laugh about how they're queer goth disappointments to their parents. Angst folllows as Luna gets mad about Leone leaving her but it doesn't last long, they vow to protect each other.

Stand: Has a stand called "Summer Breeze" after the Type O Negative song, she developed it independently (this leaves Leone feeling jealous) after an attack which left her with a cross shaped scar on her face. Summer Breeze's ability is to put the victim into a tranquil hallucination, preventing them from feeling fear and danger, leaving the ability for Luna to attack freely. The hallucinations are catered to the victim and work on portraying a scenario they feel most at ease. Summer Breeze appears as a humanoid stand with an appearance seemingly inspired by jellyfish and sirens (I will attempt to draw this when possible and in the mean time i will make a separate post with Picrews when I find some that have the features I'm looking for), when Luna first gained the ability it spoke to her (similar to Trish's Spice Girl) but hasn't spoken since, it seems it only did so she would know what it was. Summer Breeze is a fairly long range stand, as long as Luna knows her target she can target them, of course the matter of using their trance like state as a weakness for attacks has to be factored in. In terms of power, it can throw punches but it isn't ideal for combat. Luna combats (lol) this by being a good fighter and skilled with knives, Guido and Leone later teach her to use a gun too.

quite shy naturally but pushes herself out of her comfort zone for the sake of getting to know people

big fan of jellyfish, space, fashion, perfume, gaming, and music

very mentally ill but has a suck it up attitude due to her parent's neglect

Respects Bruno and Leone very highly (threatened Bruno when he first told her that he was married to Leone but only because she loves her brother okay)

somehow manages to help Mista and Narancia be more annoying

Fugo respects her a lot and they often work on the finances and paperwork together, they have conversations about literature and research breakthroughs

massive crush on Trish but is a fool about it because she is scared that Trish isn't into girls and even if she was that she wouldn't be into someone like her

In the main park of the city where Chris lives, with his 17 years, the young man sits on the bench and takes out his cigarette, lighting the tip of the column with his small metal lighter and sucks the smoke from the filter. The young man could only look at the sky covered in warm colors of the sunset while he suffers his body aches and ordering all his frustrations and fears in his head.

Someone sits next to him and takes his cigarette, it was his father, Guido, who was secretly following him.

-Since when are you smoking?

-A year and a half ago.

-I did not expect that from you

-Oh? Did I disappoint you as an exemplary only child that you loved so much?

-Don't say things I never said.

Chris snatches the cigarette from his father and continues to smoke. His father just looks at his shiny shoes on the floor.

For a while tranquility and silence is heard except for the wind moving the leaves of the trees, the song of the birds and the echo of the children shouting with joy.

Guido looks at how his little son has changed drastically. His physical appearance was changing from a frail boy's body to one with more build, more manly, his hair continued to grow to his shoulders, already resembling the thick curly hair of his wife and mother of Chris, Lía and the features, which already It ceases to be those of a 13-year-old boy, becoming those of an attractive young adult. Guido felt uncomfortable but also relieved to see that his son was finally growing to a man, now taller than him.

-Is something wrong, father?

-Well, tell me, how is it going with the psychotherapist?

-Good.

-Oh, really?

-Yes.

Chris continues to smoke until he finishes his cigarette. He proceeds to take another from him but his father takes it from him.

-Chris, why do you keep lying?

-Huh?

-I already talked to her. You keep hiding your concerns and guilt. I know, that's why you smoke.

-Of course not.

-Son, we are also accompanying you in this therapy, and we do it because we love you.

-...

Guido approaches his son and embraces him with his left arm.

-Since we are alone, you and me, father and son... would you like to know how I met your mother?

Chris widened his eyes a little, curious to know about them for the first time, but his pride prevented him from giving a yes answer so he didn't say a word.

-Ahhh...it was 25 years ago. In the embassy of the country where you were born. When I joined, I already had years of experience as a business graduate, specializing in the humanities. I managed the team as a cultural advisor, they trusted my abilities. And my companions were an excellent team and everyone felt comfortable working and serving our compatriots.

She is such a perfectionist and orderly that everything was delivered at or before the key moment. She is also a beautiful, kind, calm and patient woman with everyone. She was the guide and mentor to her peers at her young age. Also, being very attractive, many men were after her and asked her to go out with her. I also felt attracted to her, but it was because I was in love with her, I didn't know if she felt the same way about me, I even felt somewhat ignored, so I didn't dare say anything and just looked at her while she worked, and how the men kept asking her out on dates, and it made me jealous, sad, and uncomfortable.

I dared, and one day while I went to help her organize some folders, I invited her to eat and she accepted with a smile. I was excited, but also insecure thinking if she is like this with other men, but still, I was crazy in love for her.

One night of dinner. We both talked about work, hobbies and many things that we both couldn't talk about at work. It was a wonderful night and so on, every time I could I invited her. From once every two weeks to almost every day. We both had fun, smiled and felt confident.

At a saturday dinner, I asked her, out of curiosity, what her relationship was like with other men who invited her. I was afraid that she would get angry but my curiosity was greater.

But she replied calmly that she rejected all the invitations because she was expecting a specific one... my invitation. In my life I never felt so nervous and happy knowing that she did have something of interest in me, but also in my head was the doubt that if she was an interested woman, that defect of mine that I had from my childhood...

-Dad...

-Put those doubts aside and I confessed my love for her. And...yes, she was also in love with me. We both feel very happy but strange, for if we already start a courtship , hahaha.

And, the courtship lasted a year and then we got married.

-Heh, curious.

-Oh my son, if you knew, that with so much work, we could not form our family nucleus, that is to say, have a baby.

-Oh?

-Your mother and I love each other so much, but we were always busy and we had less time for ourselves, just lunch and dinner. And me, I always asked to have a baby and Lia refused for that reason. Until one day, she accidentally got pregnant. I celebrated, but she was not happy but she kept the pregnancy (don't tell your mother what I'm telling you), until you were born. She changed, she loved you very much, but she also almost fell into depression because of her mother's work and you were a very crying baby that took her patience out of her. And as a father, and the one who asked for a son, I took responsibility and took care of you, and I was asking for a license and permits to take care of both. But I had to go back to work at the embassy, leaving her and you alone.

-These things... you never told me. First time I feel like we can both talk about things like this. Listening to them encourages me, it excites me to know my origins, but it also disappoints me to learn of this now, that I am almost an adult with mental problems.

-I'm sorry my son...

The two realize that Lía was next to them without them noticing her presence. She had a slightly sad expression and a slight smile.

-It's true...I refused to have children because of my work. I love my job and dedicate my time to it, together with my Chubby.

-Oh Honey.

-I never wanted to say this, but I was afraid that you would treat me like a bad mother and be a one for you... no, that you would hate me. I knew this would happen if I had a child. But, in the bottom of my heart I also wanted to have a little innocent soul, a baby with your dad, but, you ended up being raised by the De La Estrella family, and we never made the effort to give our time to you, to teach you, to spend your childhood playing, just being in our obsessive work. I'm so sorry Chris... now you're suffering all this because of us, we are bad and selfish parents, sniff...

Chris and Guido rise to hug and comfort a repentant wife and mother.

Okay, so I more or less answered this like a year ago here, but obvi I’ve had some more thoughts since then. And, y’all are gonna hate me for this, but I do have a favorite.

I think Luca and Giulia should hook up in college.

Not as a long-term thing, more like a one-night stand (but possibly without any actual sex, i still like my asexual Giulia headcanon). I see them going to the same college together, Luca studying astronomy and Giulia studying marine biology, and they’re roommates cause it’s cheaper and they practically grew up together anyway. Luca’s already securely with Alberto at this point and Giulia thinks she’s a lesbian, so it’s all whatever. Everyone’s all happy, Luca loves Alberto, Giulia loves both the boys as her best friends/family, Alberto is no longer jealous of Giulia, yadda yadda yadda.

But like. What if they fucked it up.

What if they kissed. 😳

Idk I just think it’s a fun and interesting scenario cause like, Luca is missing Alberto and he’s all sad that Alberto’s not there, but like. Giulia is. 👀

fhdjjwhfk idk there’s kinda a lot to explain which is why I don’t talk about it much but I’ve already written one fic about it (which is kinda underrated in my opinion). And I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I just think their bond is so strong it’s almost hard not to imagine them in a semi-polyamorous relationship (i ain’t doin incest tho srry). Introducing...the Lotus Maid Squad!

The Lotus Maid Squad is a team of five professional housemaids. Hailing from Italy, they actually have an impressive resumé. They have worked as not only maids, but also royal bodyguards for an Italian queen back in the year 2044. Since they feel extremely loyal to their liege, the have gone on to serve the former queen as she moved up in her career to represent Italy in the Global Republic. Now, they reside in New York City as they maintain the upkeep of the penthouse apartment residence of Senator Patrice Amaretti. Surprisingly, four of these five maids have known Patrice since childhood (they were all classmates at an all-girls school in Rome). They are called the "Lotus Maid Squad" because Patrice's favorite flower is the Indian Lotus, so their name signifies their allegiance to the senator. Alternatively, they also go by the "Lily Pads", since lily pads surround lotuses in ponds. You could think of it this way: the Amaretti residence would be a pond ecosystem where Patrice=Lotus, Maids=Lily Pads.

I'm just gonna cut to the chase. If anyone of you are following me for J.E.D.I., and you have a good grasp on who Patrice is, then you'll probably get that these maids are supposed to be based off of Padmé's handmaidens. Unlike the rest of the characters in this story, I chose to approach them a different way. While most of the characters are straightforward parodies (Alexis=Ahsoka, Obadiah=Obi-Wan, Anatole=Anakin, etc.), I decided to create these girls based on combining traits of several handmaidens into particular roles (the decoy, the stylist, etc.) instead of a specific handmaiden for each one, because I did some research and found that there are over 18 handmaidens in canon (and Legends) that are little more than just a background extra and a name that rhymes with Padmé (with a few exceptions such as Teckla and Duja). In some cases, I even added traits not seen in the movies. Before you say anything, I'm aware that there is a novel series about Padmé and her handmaidens, but I heard some things and read some reviews about it that made me not want to read it (and Padmé is my favorite character, but I'll sacrifice); I'll just stick to this one Queen Amidala Journal I have to reread anytime I want. Plus, I wanted to have fun assigning super-tropey anime personalities to the handmaidens in my AU.

And now, here's a summary on each of Patty's maids.

Caprice Zeppole: Hailing from Florence, Caprice is Patrice's childhood friend, having known her the longest (since preschool!), and is in charge of apartment security alongside Captain Guido Togni (Patrice's security guard and chauffeur). Despite lacking a blood relation, the two look nearly identical, but there is one feature to distinguish them: Patrice has a beauty mark on her left cheek, while Caprice doesn't. Personality wise, the two could not be anymore different. While Patrice is calm and confident, Caprice is a ball of never-ending hyperactive energy who idolizes the senator and is her biggest fangirl; she admires the senator for being everything this maid isn't: classy, stylish, sociable, determined, and just overall a role model for aspiring young senators. Caprice can also be a bit clingy, often surprise-hugging Patrice at inopportune times (think Himeko Katagiri from Pani Poni Dash!). Due to their looks, Patrice and Caprice can actually switch places with each other's clothes (Anatole can tell who's who with his ESP, however). At one point Caprice was jealous of Patrice for marrying Anatole (What girl wouldn't be? He's so handsome with his pretty face, soft blue eyes, and honey-hued mane.), but she got over it and supports the happy couple wholeheartedly. In fact, she likes to use the couple as inspiration for writing fantasy romance stories, though she changes their names to "Caelius" and "Flora" (those are actually pseudonyms that Anatole and Patrice got married under). Once, Caprice (in disguise) survived a plane bombing on a day known as "That Foggy Morning in NYC". Also, she often prances around singing "Yo-ho, yo-ho, a housemaid's life for me!", and has never been to Boston in the fall.

Clarice Sfogliatelle: A Venetian native, Clarice is the maid in charge of cleaning and tidiness at the Amaretti residence. She is shy and soft-spoken, often twiddles her fingers when talking (think Hinata from Naruto), and is slightly clumsy; sometimes tripping over stuff. Despite her clumsiness, she is great at making the apartment appear spick-and-span spotless. When getting ready to clean, she pretends to be a magical girl with her cleaning equipment, chanting, "Every speck of dust—all grime, rust, and leftover pizza crust...meets their doom fair and just; their cleansing away is a must! And my word, you can trust, ‘cause around Clarice, it’s clean or bust!”. She is a contrast to Caprice's hyperactivity. Fun fact: I almost considered changing Clarice's name due to discovering a character in an anime game called "The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls" who had the same name and was in a maid costume, but after some research, learned she's just an earnable character in the game and only had a maid cosplay card, alongside other cards with different-themed outfits. So my character is distinct enough. Besides, there's a number of pink-haired Sakuras in anime; all of which are different from one another.

Denise Torrone: Born in Milan, Denise is a maid with a rather haughty personality. She is Patrice's personal stylist; designing and coordinating all her outfits and hairstyles. Whenever possible, she will boast about how she is the true mind behind the senator's flawless looks. In fact, she will often proclaim that it's thanks to her that Patrice is always so fashionable, announcing "The Senator's Wardrobe was provided by Yours Truly!" and apparently, according to the other maids, laughing like a rich noblewoman with her annoying "Ohohohohoho!!!" laugh (think Constance from Fire Emblem: Three Houses). She originally wanted to be a fashion designer with her own brand and everything, but enjoys being in service to a prominent senator.

Elise Pizzelle: Born in Naples, Elise appears emotionless and speaks in a monotone voice. Of all the maids, she doesn't really have a special field such as security, cleaning, or fashion design. She's just...there. For this reason, she refers to herself as an NPC. She is surprisingly humble in contrast to Denise's arrogant personality. Her personality is somewhat influenced by characters like Marianne from Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Yuki from Haruhi Suzumiya (though she apparently shares a name with a FE: Fates character). However, Patrice appreciates her and finds her useful. Elise is said to be exactly 1cm shorter than the rest of the maids (her home country uses metric system). Okay, slight spoiler territory: Elise takes an interest in medicine and becomes Patrice's personal physician, and towards the end of the story, researches how to be a midwife and perform an at-home delivery.

Tessa Minetti: Of the five maids, Palermo-born Tessa is the only maid that 1) did not know Patrice since childhood, and 2) her name does not rhyme with Patrice. She is the head chef of the residence; Patrice met her during a witness protection stay in Lake Como, where she worked as a chef at Villa del Balbianello. The senator loved her cooking so much, she employed the young chef in her household service. Of all the maids, Tessa is the most level-headed and a bit bookish (think Rei Tachibana from Pani Poni Dash!). She is not hyperactive, haughty, shy, or apathetic like the other four maids she works hard to keep in line. While her specialty is cooking, she can and will use utensils as weapons: her main preference being mezzaluna knives. If a bad guy were to break into the Amaretti residence, Tessa will arm herself with a pair of the curved knives and shout "It's mezzaluna time, mezza-loonies!". For some reason, I imagine her to speak like Freddi Fish.

I should also inform you that all the maids have call signs. Caprice is "Mirror" (her resemblance to Patrice), Clarice is "Sparkle" (making things clean and sparkly), Denise is "En Vogue" (personal stylist/fashion designer), Elise is "NPC" (she feels she's useless), and Tessa is "Oddball" (lack of rhyming name).

If it wasn't obvious already, I drew heavy anime inspiration for the maid squad. From wearing typical anime maid uniforms, to the hairstyles, the personalities (which occur pretty often in anime), and also incorporating one of my fave tropes...color-coded team members! Originally, I was going to put them wearing black boots for action, but since they're usually seen inside Patty's apartment, I drew them to have stockings and color-coded slippers (along with their color-coded accessories). Maybe they'll have the boots in another drawing where they're outdoors. They also have tracksuits and activewear, since they do exercise often. Also, points to anyone who caught the VeggieTales reference!

TL;DR: Caprice is Genki, Clarice is Dandere, Denise is Ojou-sama, Elise is Kuudere, and Tessa is Meganekko.
