Ok this may be a stretch (and I probably sound crazy) but as I was watching an out of context the owl house video I noticed something about King’s shadow from S1E1 when we’re about to be introduced to him

and I paused on it curious of what the shadow actually looked like AND THEN I NOTICED THE HEAD SHAPE

IT LOOKS SIMILAR TO THE GOLEMS/GUARDIANS (or whatever they’re called) HEAD SHAPES WHICH ALSO ARE RELATED TO KING (as we see in season 2 Ep3 Echoes of the Past, they are essentially his servants/guardians) SO

FORESHADOWING?? ISH? maybe? Idk if it’s just a coincidence tho I mean it’s not exactly the same but just wanted to point out the similarity

belos's 'curse'+ jean-luc

belos’s curse is closely connected to jean luc

to make it clear, its obvious collector DIDNT teach him this curse, due to how we saw the carvings before he met collector

he must have learned this magic from the titan itself

but we know that the titan is already dead, and cannot speak to those living, which is where jean-luc + the rest of the golems come in

in 2x3 when we see jean luc’s fighting style as well as how their overall flexibility (?) affects them

its very simular to belos’s condition, although, since he is human, he has some of power to switch between

they can also extend their limbs in a very belos like fashion, simular to when belos was punching the wall in and scratched hunter (2x6)

also in 2x3 we can see how every golem (?) was disabled/broken, at the exception of jean-luc

its likely they were waiting in kings egg room, which could explain why they were the only one preserved, since it was likely belos couldn't reach such a high place

had he been able to get there, he probably would'v destroyed the egg as well

my guess as to why the others were destroyed is that belos found that island, traveled there, and studied the magic of the working golems to inflict upon himself, taking them apart/destroying them in the process

given as to how he was already combining glyphs

all it wouldv taken was for him to find the right combination and copy it down to carve later

Let’s analyze...

All right, so we have a possible maximum of THREE grown-up Collectors, and their little kid! Hmm... three, is this related to the three-person statue attached to Belos’ petrification machine? And the three-person statue in the S2 poster? Intriguing...

It seems the Collectors learned from an enormous giant of a Titan Trapper to put on skulls as a means of disguising themselves! That or this Titan Trapper is a Collector in another form.

They fight the Titans and you can even see baby King as an egg! Interestingly, the art style is the same as the murals in King’s temple, weird... More on that later.

The Collectors take care of ours, and... HE SEEMS TO BE HANGING OUT WITH SOME BABY TITANS?! Did they die, were they killed by the Titan Trappers? Or are some still alive as puppets, sealed away?!

This fascinates me... Did the Collectors gather Titan eggs to act as friends for the Collector? And they built the temple with the murals inside, depicting their history? And they all hatched, the Jean-Lucs were made by the Collectors... And since Belos learned Collector magic, it’s why his spells are so fleshy and similar!

But then, what of the symbol that hides you from the Collector? Did a Titan add that later on to hide the last egg, King? Our Collector accuses King’s dad, whose ghost seems to be wandering in the in-between, of hiding King. Or did the Collectors make it to hide it from their kid, so he doesn’t open his present too soon?

(There’s a lot of sun and cosmic imagery to the right, but there’s not really anything I can say about it.)

Do you ever think about how Kings dad must've felt when she first started watching kings life. King was born and no one was there and he grew alone for a while. How helpless his father must've felt. And the immense relief when he realized Eda was going to protect him.
