When your dad is Harry Potter, your face shows up in Teen Witch, your social media videos go viral, and sometimes your life depends on pretending to date your metamorph godbrother, whom you've been over for years, thank you very much. Or, the one where James and Teddy do animal yoga and risqué karaoke and their families could do with seeing fewer videos of them snogging.

i cannot even explain to you how much i adore this fic. jeddy is one of my favorite ships and this is a great depiction of them. i also really love the world this author created and the different wizarding(and otherwise) mental disorders they included. i find that kind of stuff, the mundane normal human life experiences that a lot of people just skip when they're writing magical world fics, so fascinating. also, the whole idea of a soul-bond/mind-bond is super fucking cool. 10/10 would highly recommend.

2. The Devil's White Knight

guys... STARCHASER DADS... WOLFSTAR DADS!!! i am dying. this is just... this fic is absolutely everything to me. the drarry part is... well if you know me you know I'm not a drarry person (i say that and yet here I am recommending two drarry fics to you *face palm* i know wtf but whatever) BUT i am not mad at the drarry in this... i actually like it... WHAT?! yeah. i know *shrugs* i don't know. anyways, regulus as a dad makes me insanely happy. he is the perfect dad. i absolutely adore him. the sirius/harry relationship in this makes me cry so fucking much it's unreal. anyways, super cute, may actually be my fave fic of all time.

look, if you haven't heard of this yet i would be somewhat shocked. i know some people hate coffee shop aus, but just... trust me on this one, okay? it's so fucking good. one of the reasons i love it is because it feels so real. i kind of mentioned that with my first rec up above, but i love when the author puts in an effort to make things relatable to real life, and this definitely has that. i also love the way this author portrays sirius, james, remus, and lil. sometimes i feel like people just don't get it right (my own opinion of right, i know, i know) but this author really gets them and writes them well. if you want a great modern wolfstar au, this is it my friends. also, it has a sequel that is still in progress :)

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Probably my Instagram-style WIP on Wattpad. I stopped uploading it after I split Albus and Scorpius up 🙈 I´m disgusting human beying. But at the end, I make all endings “hapily ever after”.

7. Do you ever write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve every written?

No, but kudos to everyone who do! That´s hard job! But I love movie-themed AU´s! Do you have a rec for some Scorbus one?

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Not exactly, I receive hardly any comments on my fics 😅 and the Next Gen fandom is usually very pleasant. But I get a lot of irritated comments on Wattpad for a) lowkey Dramione, b) any interaction of Albus with some other boy than Scorpius. I suppose people doing this are very young though.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Oh, yeah! For me sex is very important part of partner life, it brings us closer to our partner. I want to give the same feeling of intimacy and absolute hapiness to my beloved characters as well. Sex in my stories is always about making love.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Nah, I wish 🤣

11. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No, but I would love to do some cooperative work! I have an idea for Scorpius / Albus POV switching story (modern AU, high school setting). And I would love to illustrate someones fics! I really miss working on something togeather!

12. What’s your all-time favourite ship?

Scorbus, of course! 😆

13. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

HP, but suprisigly, it was a Wolfstar fic. It poured out of me like nothing, 10k in just three days, I think. It needed out 😁

14. What’s your favourite fic you’ve written?

Scorbus, 20k It All Begins at the End. I did it in style - let´s see what I would never write about but write it to actually like it. So there is soulmate trope, hurt/comfort dynamic, infidelity, split up and second chances. I left out only Mpreg, that one I couldn´t figure out 😆

Fandoms: Harry Potter, and I've half-written one fic in each Yuri on Ice and Good Omens 😂

Tropes: All the tropes? Currently writing a fake marriage with forced proximity and bedsharing. I've written mpreg, fuck-or-die, surprise love child, multiple universes, soul bond, case fic, eighth year, I have a war AU I need to finish....

Number of fics: 52

Fic I spent the most time on: Hmmm. Probably Cauldron.

Fic I spent the least time on: Has to be The Thing About Cormac. I wrote it in just over an hour one afternoon in response to a challenge issued by @tdcatsblog. Ironically it's also the funniest thing I've ever written.

Longest fic: Lost in My Own Home (105,489 words), a jeddy multiverse fic where Teddy grows up in a world where his parents live and Harry and Draco are together, but accidentally travels to a universe that is like the HP epilogue. Turns out it takes a lot of words to write a multiverse.

Shortest fic: Fifteen Months at 274 words. A tiny fic about Dad Harry and baby James.

Most hits: Back to You, a little eighth year drinking game fic I wrote with @gracie137blogs. Nothing real I write will ever catch up to this 😂

Most kudos: Back to You

Most comments: Cauldron Full of Hot Strong Love a love potion case fic in which Hermione is under attack by men's rights activists and Draco is a magical scientist.

Favorite fic I wrote: This is so hard. I poured my soul into all my longer fics. Four-way tie—Hag Hex, when by now, Calamity's Child, Lost in My Own Home

Fic I want to rewrite/expand: I don't really want to rewrite any of them tbh. I think my oldest stuff isn't as good because I wasn't as good a fiction writer, but I'm still really proud of them for what they are and I wouldn't want to change them.

Share a bit of a WIP or story idea: I'm writing an original trilogy in which magic gets into the tech infrastructure and starts wreaking havoc. It's super fun and fannish and I wish I was writing it faster. Fic-wise, I'm currently posting a political drarry fake marriage fic called When Times are Dire (second chapter will be up once it's back from beta!)—here's a sneak peek:

"What we need your advice on is this," Draco said carefully. "Harry and I are…romantically entangled."

Harry grimaced. "Romantically entangled? Are you kidding me?" He turned to Parvati. "But we are together. I'm only opposed to the phrase 'romantically entangled'."

There was a long pause, then Lavender's hand flew up to her mouth. She looked like she hadn't heard anything this exciting in years.

Parvati's reaction was more calculating. "You're not shitting us?"

Draco shook his head.

Her eyes widened with excitement. She turned to Lavender. "We are going to sell so many papers. What do you think, merch? An authorised fictionalisation? A tell-all?"

Lav clapped her hands together. "Oh my goodness, it is too good. Too good! There's nothing we can't do with this, boys. Nothing!"

Harry tried to keep the horror off his face, not wanting to insult them. "We don't want any of that. We don't want a fictionalised account or merch or whatever."

"Harry," Parvati said with a stern look, "we need this. Magical Britain needs this. Do you know how much joy you could bring to people, distracting them from their sorrow over Rump?"

"How exactly would this bring people joy?" Draco asked, holding a petit four delicately in two fingers.

"People live for love stories of famous people!" Lavender enthused. "And you two have the added juiciness of past enmity, and the whole war thing, too." She turned to Parvati. "Remember the writing contest in the girls dorm in fifth year? Nevermind." She waved her hand to cut off their questions. "Plus the family connection with your kids. It's like star-crossed lovers for the modern age!"

"Plus," Parvati said crisply, "people think you're fit. They'd get their rocks off, imagining the two of you at it. Which, needless to say, sells super well."

"For fuck's sake!" Harry spluttered, getting crumbs everywhere. "No. Our goal is not to revitalise the porn industry."

Parvati held up a finger. "Don't be judgy, Hazza; the porn industry pays really well."

Thankyou @phd-mama for tagging me in what is going to be a horrific callout because I am the Queen of writing 5k of something and then getting distracted by a bright shiny new idea -- @shiftylinguini pls know i feel ur pain

Drarry

Big Bang - wow that’s an inventive name!! 10 points for me!! anyway this fic was back when i was planning to do the HD Bang (before uni and my mental health decided they weren't vibing it) and i will hopefully one day finish it as it’s like 10k long dealing with Drarry being brought in as professors for a year because Sentient Hogwarts has gone wild and they’re the protection / fixing detail idk

Y No Manners - okay what i’m learning is i have no naming skills, but here we have 3k of Draco teaching Harry about how to do public speaking -- they insult each other a lot

Travelling - Harry is travelling Europe and bumps into Draco, this happens a few more times and then they start travelling together, antics such as indulging in far too much wine and being bad tourists to follow

Pub - Harry’s life is falling to shit, he’s fresh out of a relationship and Robards’s has shipped him off to Scotland to look into a case about missing sheep and then he bumps into Draco Malfoy in a pub -- i make at least 5 too many sheep jokes

Rich Bitch - Bucky Barnes is the grandson and spitting image of Captain America’s best friend Jamie Barnes. He hates this fact enough and then Steve comes out of the ice and everything gets worse (and then better ofc)

Reality Hopping - Soul Stone story about what Bucky’s going through rn aka Bucky Barnes realises that he loves Steve Rogers no matter what their story is -- it’s 12k long .... why am i not writing it ....

The Man on The Train - Shrunkyclunks Steve meets Bucky on a train and they bond and get super close and Steve is like HERE IS SOMEONE WHO SEE’S ME FOR ME and then finds out that Bucky’s secretly researching Steve for his phd .... ouch

Here it is, my post of shame... one big hard Yikes at me and my inability to focus on ANYTHING because i am an IDIOT .... i really do want to write all of these as well !!! it’ll just take some time

Ever thought about jeddy muggle modern!au? Sometimes I think about it and ask myself what they would study in uni or what kind of job they would do. Any thoughts?

The fic I wrote that was supposed to be for jeddyfest is actually a Muggle Modern AU.

Teddy is retired in that fic, but before he was laid off he worked at Scotland Yard as a Detective Inspector. Idk, maybe I’m stupid, I just always see him in a career where he can make a difference and help people, so being a cop just fits him.

I also like to imagine he would be a really good teacher or professor, or of course I can also get on board with Teddy being a singer in a band. Oh, or a tattoo artist. I think he’d excel as an artist and that he would 100% go into tattooing. He’d have a job where he can be creative and thoughtful in some way.

In that fic James is studying business to take over the family pharmaceutical business, so a businessman, but I can also see him doing other stuff. I love the idea of him being a super popular professional chef. Can you imagine him running an exclusive restaurant that you have to book months in advance? Wow. Yes. Most definitely. I’d also like to see him as a writer, because hermit author James would be hysterical. I wrote him as a teacher for small kiddos once, and that was super cool to explore.
