JEE Mains 2021- It is a no brainer that the maximum selections in IITs from Pune were all students of Bakliwal Tutorials.

The top 3 Pune ranks in JEE Mains 2021 were secured by Bakliwal Tutorials’ students. Naman Agarwal was the Pune Rank 1 with an AIR of 44 and a percentile of 99.998. This was followed by Jainesh Mehta and Shubhranil Chatterjee with an AIR of 132 and 176 respectively.

BT had 10 students in the top 500 AIR, 20 students in the top 1000 AIR and 26 students who scored above the 99.9 percentile in JEE Mains 2021.

16 of the top 20 Rankers from Pune were BTians. The total number of students that cleated JEE Mains from BT was 255.

KVPY 2021- The Pune Rank 1 in SA Stream was secured by Pratik Sahoo with an AIR of 22 who was from Bakliwal Tutorials.

The Pune Rank 1 in KVPY SX Stream was also produced by Bakliwal Tutorials. Soham Joshi, who is also the Pune Topper in JEE Advanced 2021, secured AIR 39 in KVPY SX stream. This was followed by Naman Agarwal with an AIR of 46.

The Pune Rank 4 and 5 in KVPY 2021 SX stream were students of Bakliwal Tutorials with AIR of 131 and 171 respectively.

Bakliwal Tutorials had 12 students in the top 500 AIR and 24 in the top 1000 AIR and total 35 selections.

MHT CET 2021- The MHT CET topper in 2021 was Aditya Mehta. He got a perfect percentile of 100. 12 students from Bakliwal Tutorials secured a percentile of above 99.9, 63 secured percentile of above 99.5, 102 students secured above 99 percentile and 362 had secured percentile of more than 95.

Suyash Chavan from IITPK secured 99.97 percentile in MHT-CET.

2022 Results

Once again in 2022 JEE Advanced Bakliwal Tutorials produced a Single Digit Rank, AIR 7 secured by Pratik Sahoo. He was the Pune and Maharashtra Topper.

This was followed by Vedant Talegaonkar, who secured an AIR of 89 and was the Pune Rank 2.

15 of their students secured AIR within 800; 56 students are in the top 5000.

A total of 197 students from BT cleared the JEE Advanced 2022.

In JEE Mains 2022 as well the Pune Topper was from Bakliwal Tutorials with an AIR of 98. Bakliwal Tutorials produced the Pune Topper for the third time in a row (2020, 2021, 2022).

2023 Results

17 students from Bakliwal Tutorials secured an All India Rank (AIR) in top 1500, 39 in top 3000, 68 in top 5000, and a whopping 121 in top 10000.

These are the maximum number of selections in Pune in the 1500, 3000, 5000, and 10,0000000 by a large margin.

Their number of selections also increased by 100 compared to 2022. 257 students from Bakliwal Tutorials cleared the JEE Advanced 2023.

JEE Main 2023: The Pune Topper in JEE Main Phase 1, Omkar Raichurkar, 2023, with AIR 112 was from Bakliwal Tutorials followed by, Anirudha Saraf secured AIR 150, and Apurva Prakash Mahajan was Pune Girls’ Topper with an AIR of 338.

25 students secured a rank within the top 2000, 68 students secured a rank in the top 5000, and 118 students secured a rank in the top 10000.

American Maths Olympiad- 12 students from BT were awarded a Gold Medal, 21 with Silver Medal and 31 with Bronze Medal. Aditya Sai Vemparala from Bakliwal Tutorials is the only student in India to achieve a perfect score in the American Maths Olympiad.

NSE- Record-breaking 16 Selections in Chemistry/ Physics/ Astronomy Olympaids (NSEC/ NSEP/ NSEA 2023). There were 11 BTians among the around 500 selected across India in Chemistry Olympiad (NSEC).

The publication of JoSAA Round 6 has finished IIT Mandi cutoff admission 2023 to the BTech program. The first session of the JEE Main exam 2024 will take place from 24th January, 2024, to 1st February, 2024. DU Admission 2023: Delhi University to introduce three BTech programmes this year

DU Admission 2023: The three courses include BTech Computer Science and Engineering, BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering, and BTech Electrical Engineering.

DU Admission 2023: The University of Delhi will introduce three BTech programmes from the upcoming 2023–24 academic session. The programmes will commence with a capacity of total 360 students who will be admitted to three engineering courses through JEE Mains.

The three courses which will be conducted by the Faculty of Technology are BTech Computer Science and Engineering, BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering, and BTech Electrical Engineering.

A proposal in the matter will be presented before the university’s Executive Council on Friday, the official told PTI, adding the university received approval from the Ministry of Education in April for the creation of 72 teaching and 48 non-teaching posts for the new programmes. The university had in 2021 constituted a committee to deliberate on the introduction of the new courses.

“The committee held several meetings in the last one-and-half years and systematically deliberated upon various issues within its terms of reference to facilitate the initiation of the three BTech programmes under the Faculty of Technology in the emerging subject areas of computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering and electrical engineering,” an official said citing the report submitted by the panel.

The report, seen by PTI, states the university will use the Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) score obtained by an aspirant for admission to the BTech programmes. It said a proposal has been submitted to the Union Ministry of Education for the construction of physical infrastructure for the Faculty of Technology which will take time on receipt of necessary financial and other statutory approvals.

The committee recommended that adequate arrangements for space be made for classrooms and laboratories for the BTech programmes till the exclusive building for the Faculty of Technology is built and made operational.

“The committee authorised the vice-chancellor to decide upon the space and other essential physical infrastructure for initiation of these B.Tech programmes,” the report read.

As far as student strength in the first year is concerned, the committee noted that each course will have 120 students. It means a total of 360 students will be admitted.

The BTech programmes would be designed in such a manner that there would be a minimum of 50 per cent weightage given to the major subject area of study with a maximum of 65 per cent weightage. The remaining weightage would be to the minor subject areas of study, the report said.

The students will have multiple exit options in line with the National Education Policy. A student who has completed one year of study and earned the requisite credits would be awarded a certificate, those two years of study and requisite credits would be awarded a diploma, with three years of study along with credits would be awarded an advanced diploma. Students who successfully complete four years would be awarded a BTech degree.

The departments of Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering are required to be situated on the North Campus of the university for logistic support and proximity to the majority of the faculties/departments on the campus.

JEE Main to NEET to CUET: NTA to Release Exam Calendar 2023 Soon, Know Tentative Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing the academic calendar for 2023 in December. JEE Main to NEET to CUCET, the NTA will release the tentative dates of the exams as well as the notification release dates along with the calendar. Almost all major national-level exams are held by the NTA.

JEE Main 2023: The notification for the engineering entrance exam will be released in the third week of November. Along with the notification, the registration-cum-application forms will be available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main 2023 session 1 will be held in January and session 2 in April. The application forms for the second session will be out by March.

NEET 2023: The notification for the medical entrance, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2023 will be released in March and the exam will be held on the first Sunday of May 2023. Along with the notification, the application-cum-registration forms will be released at neet.nta.nic.in.

CUET 2023: The common entrance test will be held after the Boards. The class 10 and class 12 board exams will be held from February 15 onwards and are expected to conclude by March. The CUET for entrance to colleges will be held after boards. UGC chairperson had said that CUET could be held twice a year, however, after the glitches in exam this year, the exam dates are not yet out.

UGC NET: The exam used to be held by UGC and is now conducted by NTA. The exam is held twice a year, however, since the pandemic, the National Eligibility Test is being held in merged attempts. This year too, December 2021 and June 2022 exam cycles were merged. Since the NTA is slowly bringing all exams back to their original schedules, the NET exam dates are expected to be spanned out too, however, exam dates are not yet unknown.Read More

Introduction to the Exam

The JEE Main (Joint Entrance Exam Main) is an entrance examination test for engineering aspirants in NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs engineering courses. It is also the qualifier for the JEE advanced, which is conducted for admission to all IITs. From 2019 onwards, the Government of India has transferred the mandate of conducting Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) to the NTA (National Testing Agency). JEE Main Paper 1 is conducted for admission to undergraduate B.E./B.Tech programs and Paper 2 is conducted for B.Arch & B.Planning courses admissions.

JEE usually is scheduled for two sessions, one is held in January and the other is held in September. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NTA conducted four exam sessions. Therefore, the exam was scheduled for February, March, April, and May. The April and May sessions were further postponed; due to the pandemic.

JEE Main 2021 Exam & Question Paper Pattern

In the JEE main 2021 question paper, there were 90 questions in all three sections. Out of these 90 questions, the students had to choose75 questions to attempt. In each section of the JEE main 2021 question paper, there were 25 questions. Out of the 25 questions, 20 were MCQ's with negative marking, and the other 5 were numerical questions to which negative marking did not apply. The syllabus of the JEE mains question paper 2021 was the same as the previous year.

JEE main 2021 question paper pattern and marking scheme:

Paper 1 of the JEE main question paper 2021 had 90 questions, of which candidates had to attempt only 75. The JEE main question paper 2021 for paper-2A had 82 questions out of which candidates had to attempt 25 questions from Maths, 50 questions from aptitude, two questions from drawing, which is a total of 77 questions. The total marks allotted were 400.

The JEE main 2021 question paper for paper-2B had 105 questions, of which students had to attempt 100 questions. Therefore, the total marks allotted were 400.

Candidates were asked to attempt five out of ten questions for the mathematics numerical section from both JEE main 2021 question papers for 2A and 2B.

JEE Main 2021 Question Paper Analysis

For each correct answer in the JEE Main 2021 question paper, the candidate was awarded +4 marks and -1 for each incorrect question in MCQ and 0 for every wrong question in the numerical. In addition, 0 marks were awarded for unattempted questions.

Usually, in JEE Main, mathematics is the most challenging section, followed by physics and then chemistry. Surprisingly, the JEE main 2021 question paper had only 7% of Mathematics questions that were difficult. Chemistry, similar to Mathematics, was moderately challenging. The questions were primarily theoretical with a couple of natural formula- based numerical. Many students found Physics to be the most straightforward section.
