okay i love the hunger games movie but it does NOT in anyway shape or form show how heartbroken Peeta is at the end of the movie, i remember watching the movie being so confused because i had no idea why, at the end of the movie, he asked what was going to happen when they got home because i genuinely thought Katniss fell in love but after re-reading the first book i remembered how much conflict Katniss was experiencing and it’s just not talked about enough in the movie. PLUS how Katniss legitimately thought Peeta’s actions were all fake and he wasn’t actually in love with her and how basically everything she did in the games was to get sponsors. i know it must have been difficult trying to show that in the movies but they could have tried.
