This might sound odd but I wish we had more fics of Entrapta getting mad. Like actually angry at someone

My favourite one of these is one where she went off at Perfuma. It was some sort of christmas themed fic where the characters all get snowed in at Brightmoon and they had to go solve some puzzles to stop the winder apocalypse or whatever it was.

These two were paired together and Perfuma asked Entrapta what she'd been doing, and Entrapta said that she and Hordak had got a hospital running, and Perfuma said "im glad youre doing good" and entrapta said "well yeah im perfectly healthy" and Perfuma said "no, i mean im glad youre doing Morally Good Things"

at which entrapta went "oh", got back to work, then a minute later said "why do you talk to me like that"

and proceeded to vent, not loudly or shoutily, but like a steady stream, of how patronising perfuma was and how she kept making these moral judgements of entrapta or talking to her like a child when she'd never actually understood what drove her to the Horde to begin with

and then they both calmed down and "started over". "hi im perfuma and sometimes i judge people before i know them". "hi im entrapta and sometimes i have really bad timing". 

what i liked about that one is, well, i always see perfuma as a character with a capacity for learning better. she's certainly TRYING to be a good friend but i dont think she knows how, she has an idea of what you have to be, but it's not in her nature, her nature is to be angry and judgemental and she is constantly fighting it to have this timid love be with thou presentation. i think that gives her a lot in common with catra of all people, at the end.  so i think if entrapta explained to her how she felt alienated by her, perfuma would understand immediately that she fucked up, and they could sort out that relationship.

#my second favourite is the one where a stranger scout shoots hordak after they land on a planet #and then entrapta goes... full preadator. beast of beast island. #she nearly kills the poor sod and then realises its tallstar and INSTANTLY calms down except picks up tallstar and carries her down the clif #until jewelstar is like 'please. we didnt kill anyone. put my sister down' and entrapta goes 'oh' as if she forgot tallstar was there #i dont know if that is in her capabilities but god!!!! god. dont test her. the only other character with that level of mobility is catra #entrapta #she ra #spop #perfuma

You often complain about the princesses' ableist behavior towards Entrapta. Well, I have a theory that may explain this, but it has rather… "dark" implications for the civilization of Etheria…

The series aims to be diverse: It gives us a main cast with characters of various colors, genders, orientations and body types… but strangely few people with disabilities.

What do we have as disabled people in SPOP 2018? -Kyle (it seems)… who is in the Horde -Entrapta… who lived isolated for a long time and joined the Horde -Hordak… who is not from Etheria -Tallstar… who is not from Etheria -Jewelstar (it seems)… who is not from Etheria

Given how few disabled characters in the series come from Etheria, and the fact that some of them are found in the Horde, there is only one possibility left: Etheria has a eugenics culture. The inhabitants of Etheria certainly have the habit of abandoning children with a disability, or perhaps even just an abnormal one, to their fate. And regarding Entrapta, it is likely that her royal blood means that she is just "isolated" from the rest of the population.

This is why the other princesses are so ableist towards Entrapta: Not only have they never seen disabled people before, but they must also have the worst preconceptions about them.

Next time we will see why the planet Etheria is entirely subject to a dictatorial, imperialist and supremacist politics dominated by "human" Etherians and magicians.

i doubt the writers thought about the implications of what they're writing at all let alone include an in-universe reason for the ableism, but this theory is interesting!

I admit I haven’t seen a ton of SPOP so please correct me if I’m wrong but it’s really frustrating to me how badly the MLM/transmasc characters are handled in it- Kyle is canonically gay and is treated as a joke, both the bi men in the show end up in m/f relationships/mainly express interest in women and OH YEA FALCON WAS SEAHAWKS DAD IN THE ORIGINAL SHE RA THATS WEIRD. We don’t even see the real peekablue- jewelstar and Rogelio seem fine but man for a show that’s meant to be progressive

Well, you're not wrong. I'm not entirely bothered that the bi characters ended up in m/f relationships, but as @spop-romanticizes-abuse said, their attraction to men isn't actually confirmed anywhere in the show. I think the crew mainly "confirms" the characters' orientations on social media, which is. You know. Cheap.

Kyle is also a weird case because people claim he's bisexual too, since Nate decided to shove Lonnie with him and Rogelio out of the show, which is bullshit (but trust me, someone called me a biphobe for calling Kyle gay, lol)

Like, we still have Bow's dads at least. But they're not an important part of the show, unfortunately. In fact, I don't particularly like the way this show treats men in general. Most of them are stupid or underdeveloped (or both), and I especially say this because of how Kyle is treated throughout the show. The entire punchline is that he's a pathetic white guy, so he suffers for no reason at all.

I don't know, I personally don't find that progressive in the slightest. I think it's no wonder why there are radfems/TERFs in the SPOP fandom.
