Nintendo E3 2019 Thoughts  Part 1The Direct
ce Okay so with yesterday behind us I felt I might as well offer my own opinions on the main event of the day the Nintendo Direct.
To start off I like how rapid fire a lot of Nintendo’s Directs have become. While it’s not as flashy as a full blown conference it pretty much cuts out most of the padding and helps make things arguably more focused. I wasn’t expecting them to cram so much in within 40 minutes and I admit I thought at times they would do a Smash Ultimate and spend a bunch of time on one title which of course never happened now then onto the games themselves
Dragon Quest Hero or should I say Dragon Quest Gang for Smash. Pretty much something most of us expected. Personally I have nothing against Erdrick and Pals and it was inevtiable really that we got Dragon Quest representation in Smash considering how in Japan DQ is pretty much on the same level as Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Minecraft here in the States. As easy as it is to complain about more anime sword boys when you look at it DQ was pretty much one of our only options for an additional SE rep considering how stingy SE is with Final Fantasy as well as the fact that Sora is pretty much a massive legal minefield for obvious reasons. I kinda find it clever really that rather than just represent 1 game they instead use the Hero as a means to represent the entire Dragon Quest series as whole.
Following that up fittingly is another trailer for Dragon Quest 11
Doug Bowser makes his E3/Direct debut and already the memes are out in full force
H̶o̶t̶e̶l̶ ̶M̶a̶r̶i̶o̶ ̶2̶/Luigis Mansion 3 is looking great. Seriously I just love how clean everything looks. It’s almost like the Luigis Mansion Dark Moon Artwork come to life/ Too bad we didn’t an actual release date but really for a game like this I would be surprised if they don’t go for  an October release.
A Dark Crystal Game That was unexpected
Link’s Awakening now with Dungeon Maker. Seriously I can’t help but keep imagining a Zelda spinoff that’s basically a Zelda themed Dungeon Keeper
Trials of Mana and Collection of Mana Not exactly my cup of tea but it’s cool seeing The Mana Collection available on Switch right away
Witcher III for Switch. Another rumor that  turned out true. Bring on all the oerformance jokes and PC master race trolls. Panic Button doesn’t appear to be handling this one but I can’t help but wonder what sorcery they used to get this game running on Switch
Fire Emblem Three Houses Not really big on FE myself. I get why some people are complaining they basically spoiled the big twist but I figure that Nintendo may have did it on purpose to show fans that it’s not just Harry Potter with a Fire Emblem Skin
More Resident Evil love for Switch which is nice although I can’t help but wonder why they chose a port of RE6 over the remake of RE2
No More Heroes III another bit of a surprise. I admit for a second I thought I was looking at some new Power Rangers mech game. Great to see after Travis Strikes Again
That new Contra game looks eggghhhh but its cool we are getting the Contra collection too
Daemon x Machina. I actually did get some enjoyment out of the demo and what I saw with the mech customization looks interesting but I seriously hope they fixed the framerate in the final release.
Panzer Dragoon Another one that came out of nowhere. Switch has been seeing quite the amount of Sega love. Now if only we could get a Sega Ages port of Daytona USA
Pokemon Sword and Shield get a brief shoutout. Figured they wouldn’t spend too much time on it considering how it just got a direct last week. And like that the R34 crowd has already abandoned Sonia for Nessa go figure.
Astral Chain got a new trailer. Pretty interesting game and no doubt it will probably have an insanely over the top final boss as with fine Platinum tradition
Empire of Sin pretty interesting management/strategy game looks like it might be worth a shot when it comes out.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Not a big Marvel person but personally I think its a bit funny really that UA3 has better models than the SE Avengers game.
Cadence of Hyrule Finally have a release date and its right at the end of E3 which is cool
Mario and Sonic at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Figured they would give a shoutout to this game.  Eggman looks surprisingly hot in shorts.  Why is nobody talking about the majesty of Barefoot Wario?
Animal Crossing New Horizons Finally the game pretty much everybody was waiting for. So it would appear Animal Crossing has now transformed into Minecraft. Jokes aside I can’t help but love the idea that you are pretty much now building the town yourself and populating the island from scratch. Okay actual path creation tools and the ability to place furniture outside this is too much. It’s kind of a bummer the game won’t be out till next March but its understandable really considering how packed Switches release schedule looks for the rest of 2019.  Also Tom Nook being a greedy little shit as usual and where is Isabelle please don’t tell me Nintendo you forgot our precious doggo girl.
The obligatory switch game/port sizzle reel. Nice recap of things to come. Another MS game confirmed with Super Lucky’s Tale. Also the Spyro Reignited Trilogy has finally been confirmed for Switch and PC which is great.  Alien Isolation? didn’t expect to see that game get ported. Still no release date for A Hat in Time Switch though
Now for what is arguably the two biggest bombshells to come out of this presentation
First off, Banjo Kazooie in Smash. I cannot freaking believe it a character where the Grinch Leak actually ended up turning out to be right!!! I admit even I had my doubts that we would actually see this come to fruition since I never thought MS would be that chill about letting Banjo show up in a game hosted by one of their own competitors. Of course competitor may not be the right word here considering how surprisingly chummy MS and Nintendo have gotten with each other as of late. I can’t help but find a sense of inner happiness and satisfaction when my own theories and hunches end up being proven correct. I just knew there had to be a reason why Blast Corps and Jet Force Gemini spirits were found in the game files for Smash Ultimate never mind the fact that MS in their E3 schedule clearly suggested we should watch Nintendo’s own E3 presentation. I admit when I first saw that Jiggy bounce by I kinda started to lose my collective shit. The whole reveal was just so brilliant from the way they basically parodied their own trailer to how happy the DK crew was to see Banjo again. Its almost like Sakurai and Nintendo were reading everyone’s mind. I am really liking Banjo’s Smash design and how they basically went for more updated version of his classic look rather than just settle for the Nuts and Bolts design. A perfect way really to drive home the point that Banjo has pretty much come home. And I cannot believe it they actually got Grant Kirkhope himself on board to compose new music for Smash. I admit I am loving that Spiral Mountain remix and you can even make out bits and pieces from other Banjo levels too. I can’t wait to hear what else there is with Banjo. While I am mainly a Nintendo person I would just like to give thanks to Phil Spencer for helping make so many Nintendo and Smash fans wildest dreams finally come true. Now perhaps see if you get the original Banjo games as well as maybe a Nintendofied version of Rare Replay perhaps on Switch
And finally capping off the direct was the reveal that an actual follow up to The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is now in development. When we will see this title in full I am not sure but the brief teaser looks like they are hinting that Ganondorf himself could be back from the grave. Now I am hearing how the devs say they were inspired by Red Dead Redemption 2 does that mean more detailed horse mechanics?
All in all I would rate Nintendo’s E3 Direct an 8/out of 10. A few points were docked from the Animal Crossing delay but there was still a lot of games that I am interested in due out in the near future as well as some wonderful surprises to boot. I would personally say Nintendo was probably the best part of E3 this year and they made me a very happy gamer

GISHWHES Pregnancy Advice
Item #181: Let’s see a (SFW) 2,000 word essay published on twitter in 140 character bursts. (no attachments, etc.) about the best way to get pregnant for the 10th time. (I’m sorry, but I promised someone this would be an item.)
Read on Twitter
So you want to have another baby. Splendid! Most people stop after six or seven, but you my friend are not most people. Not content with enough kids to merely fill a baseball team, you're kicking it up a notch and having enough to use as pins in ten-pin bowling! (Note: actually throwing bowling balls at your children is frowned upon, and is illegal in many jurisdictions.)
Trying to conceive for a tenth time has many unique challenges that you may not have faced during your first nine pregnancies. But heed this friendly advice, and you'll be well on your way to welcoming a bouncing bundle of joy. Again.
First, a few considerations for before you start trying to become pregnant. Before you start your attempt for number ten, it's very important that you discontinue using birth control. While it's true that some people manage to conceive despite using birth control, it's an enormous hindrance in the vast number of cases.
Now is a good time to start taking a folic acid dietary supplement to help prevent neural tube defects in your future baby. This does not apply to all acids, however. Practice extreme caution in ingesting acids, and only consume the ones which are healthy dietary substances. Amino acids are recommended for daily consumption. Hydroxylic acid is highly beneficial and should be drank as necessary to remain hydrated. Hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid, on the other hand, are extremely dangerous and should under no circumstances by consumed by anyone trying to become pregnant, or anyone trying to remain alive.
Be sure to choose an OBGYN you feel comfortable with, as this will become an important relationship through your pregnancy. You will see your OBGYN very often to ensure that you and your growing child are healthy.
Let's review some of the basics that apply to conceiving any pregnancy, not just the double-digits attempts. As with your previous pregnancies, this one will begin shortly after you and your partner do a little mattress mambo together. Your body will not spontaneously become pregnant without your partner's cooperation: a pregnancy always requires a contribution from both parents, whether it's the first or the fiftieth.
A few simple considerations can help your partner maximize his “contribution” (so to speak). First, he should be wearing boxer shorts instead of briefs. Sperm develop best at a temperature slightly lower than body temperature, which is why the testicles dangle slightly away from the rest of the body in the first place. Scrunching them right up next to the body, therefore, kind of defeats the purpose of this little evolutionary strategy. Similarly, he should avoid hot tubs, saunas, and other scenarios that would expose his little swimmers to unusually high levels of heat. Also, you may want your partner to temporarily change his diet if he happens to be in the habit of eating copious amounts of soy products, because the phytoestrogens in soy can interfere with sperm production. Assure him that he can go back to scarfing down tofu and edamame after you successfully conceive baby number ten. He doesn't need to avoid soy for the duration of the pregnancy, just for the process of initiating it.
When you're scheduling your evening (or morning, or midday) activities for the week, keep in mind that you don't need to do the deed every single day. Sperm can live for several days inside your reproductive tract, so getting it on every two or three days is sufficient. If you prefer more often then by all means have at it, but don't feel bad about going out to a movie instead from time to time.
Generally, the best time to conceive is at the midpoint between one menstrual period and the next, but cycles are not always regular so there is no guarantee at any point of the cycle. Women have even become pregnant from doing the nasty during their menstrual period! Some guides will say that the best day to conceive is fourteen days after the last menstrual period, but knowing your own body is more reliable than trying to follow one-size-fits-all “rules”.
Most women do not need to carefully track their ovulation in order to get pregnant, but if you're having difficulty or want the piece of mind, there are tests to tell you when you're ovulating. These tests use hormones in your urine (much like pregnancy tests) to determine when you're ovulating. Some women also track their basal body temperature, looking for a slight increase that indicates ovulation has occurred.
But what about couples who are using in-vitro fertilization? Well in that case, your embryo may well be ready and waiting for you already! In many cases, IVF produces more embryos than are ultimately used. So if you used IVF for your previous pregnancies, there's a good chance that you have extra embryos in cold storage, which just need to be thawed out and transferred into your uterus. If not though, or if this is your first time using IVF, you'll have to make more. This is decidedly less fun than making them the unassisted way, but the end result will be the same: your tenth adorable little munchkin.
So those are the ways in which conceiving your tenth pregnancy are the same as the previous nine. But what about how the double-digits differ? It's a little known fact that there are, in fact, a great many differences between the first nine pregnancies and the subsequent ones.
One aspect that becomes very important from the tenth pregnancy onward is position. No, none of that “man on top for a boy, woman on top for a girl” nonsense. That's purely an old wives' tale. The positions that aid in conception are decidedly more acrobatic in nature than what you may be used to. Try doing the deed while balancing on a high wire, or while swinging from a flying trapeze. The more adventurous among you may wish to incorporate other circus elements into your lovemaking routine. Get jiggy with it atop a trained elephant. Have a friend throw knives at you while you're in the act (assuming your friend is a highly trained knife-thrower, that is). If you want to get really freaky, invite several friends to join you inside a clown car. The atmosphere of childlike wonder that a circus instills will surely give you an edge in creating another child wonder of your very own.
Naturally, it can be difficult to get in the mood when you've spent all day chasing around your first nine kids. Wiping runny noses and washing jam-covered hands are hardly aphrodisiacs. After a long day of potty-training your toddler and a long evening of helping the grade-schoolers with their homework, it's understandable that you may not have much interest in doing the horizontal mambo. But fear not, for there are a plentitude of ways to spice things up in the bedroom! While your partner is tucking the last of the ankle-biters into bed, try browsing the internet for some erotic fanfiction starring your favorite fictional characters. No matter what fandoms you're into, there's guaranteed to be some nice filthy smut out there to get your engine revving. You can even take things further by cosplaying the characters and acting out your favorite scenes. Don't worry if you've never cosplayed before. It can be as simple as putting on a flannel shirt or a trench coat!
A word or caution, however, about food-based aphrodisiacs. While you may be tempted to serve nothing but oysters and asparagus, this is counter-indicated in efforts to have a tenth baby or beyond. Make no mistake, they are still as effective as ever. But that's exactly the problem: the last thing you need right now is to accidentally encourage your teenagers to hop into bed with their high school sweethearts. You're trying to make your tenth child, not your first grandchild! So reserve the sexy-making foods for date night, and keep them off of the dinner table the rest of the week.
Another aspect that is more important than it was for previous pregnancies is the location where you try to conceive. The bedroom may have served you well up until now, but it has reached the point of diminishing returns. Your reproductive tract is getting bored, frankly, and needs some variety to kick-start it back into action. This is the perfect time to add some excitement back into your love life. Take a romantic vacation to Venice and bribe a gondolier to let you make private use of his boat. Alternatively, go to Paris and bribe a night guard at the Louvre to let you do the deed under the watchful eye of the Venus de Milo. Or stay closer to home and get frisky in the ferris wheel while the kids ride the carousel below. For the hardcore adrenaline junkies out there, sneak into your local zoo after hours to knock boots in the tiger enclosure.
An additional element of the surrounding environment that can have an effect on your odds of conceiving is the soundtrack. It is said that listening to Mozart can enhance a baby's brain power, and the same goes for sperm. Classical music helps sperm to swim faster and in the right direction. You'd be shocked at how many sperm make a wrong turn after conventional intercourse, and end up in the spleen or left brachial plexus instead of finding their way to the fallopian tube where the egg is lurking, waiting to reel them in. Therefore, to maximize your chances of conception, consider hiring a string quartet to perform for twenty to thirty minutes after coitus. If it's out of your budget to hire a live string quartet to play Mozart, blasting “Rock Me Amadeus” by Falco on loop is an acceptable alternative.
Seeing any rabbits hop through your back yard is an auspicious sign, given their prodigious breeding rate. If they linger before moving along, feel free to ask them for advice in growing your own litter. Approach slowly, holding out offerings of carrots and alfalfa, and be extra careful to be respectful at all times. It's a little known fact that rabbits get their immense fertility by siphoning off bits of fertility from other animals, and if you upset the rabbit it may decide to punish you by stealing a heaping portion of yours. On the other hand, if your heart is pure and your offerings are worthy, the rabbit may bless you by sharing a portion of its own fertility instead.
If all else fails, don't be afraid to turn to witchcraft. Once relegated to the fringes, witchcraft is gaining more and more popularity these days. For best results, find a wizened old crone who lives in a hut on the edge of a swamp and ask her to make you an enchanted fertility amulet. Alternatively, she may offer you a mysterious blend of herbs to brew up a tea that has a putrid smell but, surprisingly, doesn't taste half bad. You can also cast your own spells, right from home, using common household items such as salt, a broomstick (traditional or Swiffer Wet Jet®), assorted herbs, and several dozen crystal obelisks. Instructions for using these ingredients can be found in a beginning spell book from any occult book store.
So now you know everything you could possibly need to know to be successful in your quest to bring yet another precious little goblin into the world. But as you well know, having done this nine times already, this is just the first step in a much longer journey. There's a name to pick out, a nursery to re-paint, diaper company stock to invest in, and so much more to do between now and the birth of the newest member of your family. So for now, before the kids come home from school and the daily cacophony begins again, take a moment to relax. Have one last glass of wine before you have to swear off it for another nine months. Then take a deep breath, and get procreating!

UKEndeavour’s: Top 25 times Stef and Lena have made me ship them more
I know people may not agree with me but here are mine.
25. The Kitchen Kiss.
In the pilot there is a scene that started my ship sailing, that was Stef, walking in putting her bag down, throwing her keys onto the side. She kisses her woman hello and says hello to her babies. That kiss started my ship. It was a casual hello kiss but it felt and looked right. They have chemistry from that first moment. They felt like a couple who had been together for a long time and were still in love. This is what we’d been waiting for.
 24. Lena pinching Stef’s food.
Sitting around the kitchen table, eating tacos  Lena reaches over and takes some of Stef’s food. A little thing that you could miss in the blink of eye but a moment that makes them feel real, it helps my shipping heart to see these little things. It’s also the fact that Stef just lets her, doesn’t even say anything or blink an eye at the fact her wife is eating food from her plate. a normal thing for a couple to do.
 23. flashbacks.
We know how they got together, we don’t know all of their back story but we know a lot. We know how they meet, how Stef came out and how they finally got together, we’ve also had flashbacks of them buying their house and moving in. Stef had terrible hair and they both had to grow and learn. Lena with her straighten hair is not for me. I love her curls.  I’m also glad Stef lost the soccer mom look.
 22.  Trying to find time for sex.
In 01x05 we find that that Jenna and Kelly are splitting up and our ladies can’t remember the time they made love. Instead of folding clothes they could have done it right there and then yet they get their phones out and try to make time for a sex date. Then everything goes wrong. Lena gives Stef a come-on look and Stef is thinking about her heartburn. Jesus ruins their date with his pill buying ways. It takes them being alone in the car for them to finally get jiggy with it. This scene makes me laugh. Mainly because Stef manages to hit the horn with her foot while trying to get into the back seat which is something that I so would do.
 21. Stef’s proposal.
Stef being shot made me want to cry. Normally, as so many of us know that if a lesbian gets shot in a TV show it means they are going to die. THANKFULLY The Fosters broke that. Stef went into a coma after her lung collapsed, Lena sits with her when she comes around and then Stef removes her mask and asks Lena to marry her. it’s romantic and sweet and makes my little lesbian heart beat that little bit faster. It’s everything I’ve always wanted.
 20. Stef’s insecure moment.
When Stef and Lena are trying to decide if she should have her lump removed or both her breasts removed. They are having a private conversation and Stef looks at Lena and asks ‘are you afraid you won’t be attracted me anyone?’ she looks scared for the answer. She’s overwhelmed and without missing a beat Lena says ‘no’ this moment made me love them more. Stef showed her heart on her sleeve and Lena made sure she held it safe. It’s a small moment but means so much
 19. Stef’s Apologies.
Stef messes up, she does it a lot but no more so than in ‘I do’ were she calls her own wedding to the love of her life as stupid. Stef beats some demons and comes home to say sorry. Getting on her knees beside Lena’s side of the bed. She tells Lena’s ‘of course I want to marry you, I’d be crazy not too’ Lena throws her book and they hug and then have sex. I love this because of the passion and love in the moment.
 18. The Top joke
This has appeared in a few episodes and it makes me smile every time. It’s a little detail and in joke between them that shippers love. I think it first appeared in 02x16 (hope I am right) when they are drinking before having bad sex. Bless them
 17. Physical affection,
This happens A LOT. There isn’t just one episode or moment. They are physically affectionate all the time and it’s lovely. It’s a shippers dream, even in moments of fighting they still managed little touches. I love them for it. Whether it’s a hug, a touch or a rub. It’s amazing. They do little things that make me smile. Slapping each other’s ass’s. they rub each others backs, Stef has played with Lena’s clothes. Just little things that make me smile.
 16. Lena’s reaction to Stef’s uniform.
After Stef was shot she was at home for a little while. On the day Stef went back to work Lena kisses her wife and tells her she looks tough in uniform. It’s a lovely moment and it’s what we’ve all be thinking. Need that shipping moment.
 15. Their wedding speeches.
They had their own wedding vows. With Lena calling Stef her piece of work. It was stunningly amazing. It was lovely to watch and seeing your favourite couple get married. It was magically shipper moment. Plus they were dressed perfectly.
 14. The garage moment.
I hate seeing them fighting however seeing them make up is awesome. Yet seeing them in the garage at Dana and Stuart’s party is a shippers dream as they come back together, seeing Lena’s reaction to Stef’s news of a second mammogram. Their hug on the sofa of teen sex (eww I can’t believe they even sat on it) that hug means a lot and Lena barely able to catch her breath. It’s a shippers dream.
 13. Stef trying to get out of going out with Jenna.
I love that kitchen nook. Seeing them there after dinner with AJ and Mike. Their legs entwined. And then Stef laying over Lena’s legs is sweet and relaxed. Lena makes a bad joke about meeting someone and I love that she also slaps Stef’s ass. It’s magic.
 12. sleeping in the tent.
I love seeing them curled up together before Jude woke me, Lena was wrapped around her wife. I loved seeing it. It made me feel like they would sleep like that normally. It’s a shippers dream
 11. The Honeymoon,
Seeing them waking up the day after they have got married and they 20 second honeymoon is magically and again a fan fic dream. There is a conversation  about hyphens, bacon and morning breath. It’s a perfect, finishing with a kiss.
 10. Dancing together
They’ve danced together three times on screen. We’ve had them dancing at their wedding, at Dana and Stuart’s anniversary party and finally at Lena’s 40th birthday party. I love the birthday party dance. They are so in love so together and my shipper heart is totally lost in that moment.
 09. kissing in the garden.
The scene when Timothy is doing his ‘business’ in their bedroom and they are outside is sweet and loving. All Lena can think about is having Stef’s baby. Holding her close. I love Lena’s hands on the back of Stef’s neck and on her chest. The kiss is passionate and the whole scene is lovely and a lesbian dream. The love seen there is amazing
 08. “buy me dinner first”
Oh Stefanie. She’s trying to come to terms with the loss of her breasts and Lena is just trying to let her know she still loves her, is still attracted to her. Lena tells her wife that she would have sex with her there and then and Stef’s reaction is to ask her to buy her dinner first. Stef is hiding behind her bad humour. But as a shipper it’s what we needed to see to help us along with Stef’s path to finding herself.
 07. Zipped up in the same skin
Their babymoon wasn’t the funniest evening, they managed to have a fight. Stef is watching the flames. Lena just wanting them to be close again and not talk about kids and money but about them. She wanted to fill zipped up in the same skin like they had on their wedding night. It’s a lovely moment which ends up with them sitting on the same seat curled up together.
 06 topless moment
Staying with the babymoon they are having a private party and Lena reeling her woman in, kissing and Stef cannot wait to get her top of and Lena is happy to let her do it. It’s a shippers dream.
 05. That coach kiss
We didn’t see it coming. I remember the total excitement of seeing them together, making out on the sofa, the scene finishing with Stef lay on top of her wife, their hips moving together. I remember screaming slightly when seeing the scene. It was perfect for me. And a moment out of fan fic and not seeing it the screen, my shipper lesbian heart made a leap.
 04. Take me swimming.
The swimming pool scene in 03x14 is brilliant. Naked Stef and Lena in a pool together, just being together. it’s a fan fic dream played out for real on the screen. Watching Stef give up her power to Lena is beautiful. Seeing Lena holding Stef and just being there for her is sexy and lovely.  A shippers dream
 03. That conversation.
An open and honest conversation between them in 03x14. Stef is scared she’s going to lose her wife and Lena makes a passionate speech to her wife. Telling her she loves her, wants to be with her and will love her no matter what. It’s a lovely conversation, full of emotion. It breaks my heart seeing Stef cry. Lena’s words let us know she’s so in love with her wife and wanted to be with her no matter what.
 02. The Wedding
A shippers dream, your main ship are together and they get married. Stef and Lena had a DIY wedding what else would they have seriously.  Lena wearing a stunning dress, Stef in a shirt and trousers. They had a moment in a bathroom, with Lena’s fingers making quick work of Stef’s shirt, we had the wrong rings being put on. Dancing and finishing with them in bed naked, after sex their hands locked together showing us their new wedding rings. Just perfect. My little shipper lesbian heart strings fully pulled.
 01 Our Love scene.
We waited. And we waited and then it happened. We got Stef and Lena naked in bed and making love. NOT having sex Making love. Stef is due to have life changing surgery and they are making love before it happens. The scene is short but a shippers dream, with Lena on top kissing. Stef is then in top they are completely wrapped up in each other. Their hands are touching their bodies are locked together. Stef kisses her lips, her shoulder and their interlocked hands. Before kissing her again. This scene makes my heart sing. It’s perfect. And knowing that little to no direction was used makes it better. We are lucky because our two lead actresses get on so well and can produce these amazing scenes.
