Yes.

Which is why I started that Jikooks dynamics series I've yet to find time/energy to get back to 😅 those posts were ESSAYS with a like thousand links in order of when everything happened done by month and year in chronological order. Lol the effort was immense and each post took me WEEKS. I really do want to try and do those again. Might have to wait until I have a lengthy time off of work though 😅 lol

My complicated thoughts about KTH

I’ve said before that I love all the members of BTS, and I do. I also put in my about me that if I had to rank the members in order of my favorites, I could. And it would be according to who I gravitate to the most both musically and personality wise. Taehyung has always puzzled me. He’s eccentric, a free spirit, and not someone that I would probably get along well with in my personal life. But he’s entertaining and clearly a beloved member of BTS by the members themselves, so I enjoy watching his interactions with them on stage and in content such as Run BTS.

In Chapter 2 though… I don’t know how to feel. I try to see nuance in just about everything especially when it’s something I have extremely limited facts that I can verify. I am hesitant to label him as some sort of villain attention seeker, but his behavior is puzzling to me to say the least. What I don’t believe in my heart of hearts is that Taehyung would ever do something to purposefully hurt one of his members in a majorly public way. I don’t think he is to blame for the derangement actions of Taekookers. But, he also doesn’t help either. His willingness to name drop JK constantly for no reason in interviews or in two minute lives is super strange. Don’t be active at all on Weverse then? I struggle to find a motive behind it. For the most part, I don’t think his actions bother Jikook because if they did, I’m sure he would stop. I do think it bothers Jungkook to some extent in the fact that he always has to do damage control against the embellishments that Taehyung tells. I don’t think Taehyung is bothered by the constant influx of Taekook comments when he’s live, but I think Jungkook is bothered sometimes, hence his willingness to set the record straight and bring up Jimin because that is who is on his mind and who he gravitates towards not Tae.

Taehyung used to be the “get out of your imagination” guy. And no matter how Tkks try to spin that, the man meant what he said back then. I don’t know exactly when the transition started, but it seems to be in this Chapter 2 soft launch of his equally famous girlfriend that didn’t go over super well with either fandom. My guess is that wasn’t the reaction he was expecting and now he’s backtracking to appease his “fanbase.” He’s probably a bit bitter over it too. I wish he cared less about Tkks and his solo stans, and I’m hopeful that he will forget about their nonsense once the 7 members are back together. If I was Jennie, I wouldn’t be thrilled by his actions. I would understand the hesitancy of going full public with the relationship, but only bringing up one member (the one you are shipped with the most) every time you decide to go live to see fans for two seconds or have an interview about your album is weird to me.

But again, I’m trying not to read too much into it or project my own feelings towards it too much. I’m sure if it bothers Jikook, things will be worked out behind the scenes. Time will tell if this behavior continues, and if one day it stops, I would have a good guess as to why.

The first official acknowledgment of Jikook’s NY trip being a sexy, half naked photo was not on my bingo list. Plus the fact that it was posted to celebrate Jungkook’s birthday and that 😜 emoji?? Jimin is a menace who knows exactly what he’s doing. Also is this setting the tone for whatever content we’re getting from that trip lmao? Shirtless jikook hanging out at the harbor, hitting up breweries, playfully taking photos on tippy toes, dancing on yachts, and hanging out in the summertime? Because wtf.

For real though, I love how this sits at the same table as that weird thirst trap from last year and continues this odd homoerotic birthday greeting tradition. I don’t care what they are, it’s funny that Jikook have such consistency with this specific brand of content. Love it for them, and for me.

THE GAYEST GAY I'VE SEEN TODAY Or: 2020 Grammys VLive ft. Usher, Namjoon and the Jeon-Parks, PART ONE

Poetic, no? No. Anywho:

When Jimin saw Usher at the 2020 Grammys ... BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. I mean okay the man BARKED but who wouldn't? In this house we.... say it with me... watch original content for truth and context and people who don't have doorknobs for braincells, amen. Plus it's 16 minutes of so much cute I CAN'T.

Two things. One: Usher defies gender and orientation. I'M NOT WRONG ABOUT THIS I KNOW MANY A STRAIGHT MAN WHO... okay. I KNOW MANY A BI MAN. But even the girl-leaning guys are like "but it's Usher tho" very much like... anyone who ever sees Jimin. I'm JUST SAYING. But , (b), Jimin has a type. He likes muscle men and smart men. He is not choosy about the color of skin over said muscles - if anything he has shown a fondess for chocolate and honey over vanilla. He is all about equality and appreciation of the male form. WE KNOW THIS IS TRUE WE HAVE SEEN IT IN STORIES.

But still, not entirely my point. I'm GETTING TO IT.

The gayest gay I've seen in many a moment is Mr. Jeon over there. Keeping in mind that the Jeon-Parks, by 2020, were quite a well-established domestic partnership of the unstr8 variety, Koo's reactions are...fun to watch. Especially since, and this is important, They were at the Grammys and therefore on Bang PD-watch.

Don't laugh. Bangwatch is real. The Toadlickkers have a little teensy bit of that right. A very little bit but it is there.

The Company has, at times, in my observation, very likely told the kids to keep it quiet down in front. And this was one of the most glaringly obvious of those times - we hardly saw the JPs together AT ALL. They were not in REACH of each other most of the night. Seating arrangements, even for this Live, were planned and executed with military precision and it shows.

Yeah.

I'm LIVING.

LOOK AT HIS FAAAACE the Jeon half of the household is almost worshipful. It's fair, because Jimin looks unearthly here. He is glowing. He is beautiful. The man is art and on a night when they all look fantastic, not least Koo himself, Jimin arguably outshone everyone on that stage. So, appreciation. Props to Koo, we love a man who knows what's going back to the hotel with him.

But also we have just the barest little hint of unease. First off, Usher, which even to Jungkook MIGHT be forgivable, even okay. It's Usher. But also they were onstage with Lil Nas X, not the least gay man in the world, and LNX is OUT OUT. No closets of gold or any precious metal for that man - who happens to be YOUNGER than Jungkook. And Jimin looked beautiful on that stage. Next to Namjoon.

And then there's Namjoon fangirling all over and he and Jimin are just kekekeing ON A LIVE where, I will remind you, JIMIN BARKED WHILE LOOKING LIKE THAT and...Jungkook kinda has to just sit there and take it, and this is one of those times where they know they are being watched by ARMY and also by Namjoon and by their boss and... Namjoon knows it too. He KNOWS. And he LOVES to get his digs in on the guys when he can and can you blame him? The things this poor man has put up with over the years?

He is also very enjoying the beauty that is Jimin. They all do, anyway, but Joon was using every positional advantage he had -- not seriously flirting, it ain't like that with them. And he wasn't being mean-spirited about it. But he could, based on seating, enjoy some friendly skinship with his dongsaeng and there was not shit JeiKei could do about it. Bros will be bros, sometimes. Yes, even Kim Namjoon.

And that, as much as anything, was all up in there in Jungkookie's head. So much so that at one point he SNIFFS HOBI'S HAIR just for comfort reasons. You gotta see that, it's somewhere in the 9:00 minute, I knew I didn't have enough image space so it had to go, but you can look. Because right after that we get

Jeon Jungkook has had enough, kids. He's euphoric, he's professional, he's trying real hard to be cool but he has stayed away as long as he can take it. It's a good thing they're about to get to the champagne. TO BE CONTINUED...

My Longstanding Theory on Taekookers

With all the jikookery going on lately and especially *yesterday* (can’t believe I watched that in real time instead of making dinner but watching that was girl dinner iykyk) I thought I would give some of my probably not original thoughts on that ship, you know the ones that completely lost their marbles forever ago but especially yesterday.

Anyway, this has always been my theory about Taekookers, it’s the tale as old as time. They are actually y/n people. They want to date JK or Tae, and since they are unattainable, it’s comforting to see them with each other than with someone else. Now, I’m sure some of them maybe ship them in a queer sense. But from every piece of evidence and reactions of their side that I’ve seen, they are extremely homophobic and fetishize queer people. They hate Jikook because not only is Jungkook not attainable for them to date but he’s also not dating the other person that they picked and want to be with which is Tae. They hate the idea of Tae dating a woman (cough Jennie) because that means that he’s straight (or perceived as straight) and not dating them. And he’s not dating JK aka the other person that want to be with. It’s completely messed up, but there is no other way to rationalize it. It explains too why most TKK shippers are either really young or older cis women.

Not to mention they have this compulsion to be correct which is why they can’t give up their conspiracy theories. They need to be studied. They are a cult. They are dangerous, and I have no respect for them. But they aren’t stupid, they see how Jikook act. They can see the intimacy. No matter how much they try to spin it, they see it. They just don’t want to be wrong and want to cling to their ridiculousness. That’s my thoughts. Feel free to add yours.

2019, when I first witnessed the "Truth Untold" performance where Jimin and Jungkook faced each other during the "But I still want you" part, the intensity of their connection felt palpable. It seemed like a special and intimate moment, sparking curiosity and excitement among fans about the dynamics between them.

However, in recent times, I've noticed a shift in their dynamic. It's not to say they aren't close or supportive of each other, but the nature of their interactions might have evolved. Perhaps their individual growth, changing priorities, or the demands of their careers have influenced this shift.
