Jikook Week 16 Complete ✔️(26/03-02/04/2024)

Their sixteenth week in the military is now complete. It's time to celebrate this milestone with a look back at this week in 2018.

No shows or concerts this week but a lot of content was released. On the 28/03 the first episode of Burn the Stage, the documentary series showing the behind the scenes of the Wings Tour in 2017, was released. The first episode covered the preparations for the tour. The members describe their role in the group and it's revealing. Jimin babe, what do you mean you are taking on the maknae role?

Ep. 2 was released on 29/03 and covers their concerts in Seoul and Chile. The Seoul concert coincided with JHope's birthday and Jimin's antics led to an irretrievable cake malfunction for which he had to apologise profusely.

Then they are on a plane and RM has lost his passport. I heard about this incident, but seeing it on the screen, all of them stuck there, looking for the passport and wondering if they will be able to enter Chile, it makes it much more real and much more dramatic.

The clip with Jungkook dancing to Lie also comes from this episode.

Jikook are front and centre in the Chile concert. Jimin's drive for perfection and disappointment when he can't delivery and Jungkook pushing himself beyond his limits are the main focus of the second half of the episode. It is clear that the members are shocked to see JK exhausted and RM questions himself on what he as leader should do in that situation. They all faced so many challenges on tour.

Also this week, Run BTS Episode 46 came out. BTS went to a pottery studio and were tasked with making a gift for another member.

Jimin made a statue for V. He also made a rose and a cup for himself which the tutor gave top marks for attractiveness once it was fired.

JK made a tea set for RM.

Probably the funniest bit though was Hobi's remaking this famous scene from Ghost with RM in the Demi Moore role.

Sorry but don't you think it was already for Jikookers the moment JK's video was leaked ?

Saw many explanations and excuses saying it's made up, set up, fake etc. But really? There was no original source of video to prove it was edited. We can clearly see it's him in his apartment and bam running around him. It was filmed in Feb from his hairstyle, when bam was still with him. I saw some of big Jikokkers here having a relieved sigh when he said he don't have a gf now but He only said he don't have a gf in September. Tbh enough time to casually date and breakup with a girl.. which I've always thought his dating pattern is. So technically he wasn't lying either. And didn't he said he don't feel like wanting anyone and just want to concentrate on work for now? Doesn't that mean he don't have any partner but will have a gf in future ? In short not only he denied he had gf at the moment but also anyone special in his life. I don't think 'homophobic country' excuses applies as they literally enlisted together infront of everyone in the same country's military.

Also saw someone saying it can be a friend. But think.. who hugs some random girl in their apartment when their partner is not present there? Imagine spotting your bf hugging some random woman like that in apartment when they are alone at night. Doesn't make sense right ?

Another category of jikookers was going with 'open relationship' explanation but still not accepting Jikook is not romantically involved and everything was just them reading it wrong. Because if anyone listened to things Jimin said its clear af he only want to be in exclusive relationship.. maybe JK too but he was not even available for a serious relationship then.

Only a small percentage of Jikookers accepted its real and he has a gf irl or atleast not dating Jimin.

When i see Jikookers trying to deny it and find every excuses, it sounds like taekookers who still think Taennie was fake and army who think it's fake videos and pics.

But even worse for taekookers because one was seen holding his gf's hand in Paris while another was hugging his gf in his apartment all while choosing songs only about fucking women 😭 ik he said its not about his real life but only he chose songs like that. Others wrote their own songs but Tae's songs weren't autobiographical either and none of them were about fucking women or hetero sex. If it was rhythm he liked them they could've wrote some meaningful or even funny lyrics but nope all were about sex with women. If that doesn't tell about JK's sexuality and interests idk what will, 3D's choreo was fucking gross too. He's naturally drawn to what he likes. First of all, there is no reason for me to believe that blurry video posted on a chinese platform is Jungkook. Look for yourself, where is his lip piercing? Or the scar on his cheek? Or the mole under his lip? Huh? 😼

Wonder why that sasaeng who was spying for hours on a perfect angle on his window to catch him with the girl, didn't use a better cam instead of a toaster so their faces don't look like bread loafs? Even a normal phone has a better camera. Why in the other photos they leaked of him alone in his house the quality is good and the angle is completely different? When they explain this, I can agree that this ghost-face is JK. Otherwise it's just someone with bangs backhugging a giant pregnant lady wearing a night gown behind an open window on a breezy night.

About your mental gymnastic, in the listening party, fans were leaving comments asking "do you have a girlfriend?" And his answer was addressing that repetitive question, not the video. And don't give me this category of jikookers that percentage of jikookers thing. I don't care about anyone else's opinion, they can have their own, I have mine.

Don't you dare to compare that thing with Taennie. Taennie had 10 different HD photos leaked together and many obvious clues and hints proving the photos and the relationship was real, and even biggest and the most reliable media sources like Rolling Stone, BBC, Billboard, Dispatch, JTBC, etc wrote articles about them dating and being spotted together. JK didn't even wait for two days to react to that nonsense, but Tae was totally silent about it for almost two years. On the contrary, he started it all with following Jennie on IG, and then fueled it with more hints and wearing matching jewelry. Kmedia said they have been separated for months, so he could come up and say "I don't have a girlfriend" just like his dongsaeng but he didn't 🤷‍♀

Did you know Ricky Martin, George Michael, Freddie Mercury and many other queer singers for decades sang songs about having sex with women? Some was even their own lyrics while they were gay af lol. And you say Tae is gayer than JK because he didn't sing about having sex with women 😹

And how Jikook enlisting together has anything to do with this at all? Who said anything about homophobic country? Do guys deny having girlfriend in a homophobic country? The military of this homophobic country made this system available for close friends and relatives between the ages 18 and 28 to minimize the mental and physical traumas of mandatory service, and they are not going to ask them if they are having sex.

We always said Jikook can't live without each other, but it was people like you who come up with things like "they can't stand each other" "they only look close on cameras" "they don't care about each other" "they have different and separated lives" "they broke up" 🤡 Now that it is proved that Jikook is the closest and the most inseparable duo in BTS you are still brave on your shit? 💩

I find it very fascinating to watch their behaviors/interaction between JK, JM and V via videos. I can see V's jealousy is clear when JK & JM are close. I suspect V is interested in JM and wanted more. It seems like JK and V are fighting for JM however I think JM's heart belongs to JK and JM like V as a f.r.i.e.n.d. and nothing more. What are your thoughts on this?

I won't call what you sense from V jealousy in that sense though that's what most people perceive it as hence the whole romanticization of Vmin.

It's more like feeling left out between his best friend and his partner in crime. None of them are fully his or exclusively his the way they are exclusively attached with each other.

And for a dude with chronic loneliness that was quite depressing I'd imagine. Probably what contributed to it too 💀

The difference is, Jimin is capable of giving him the love that he craves, the nurturing kind of love where he's empathetic considerate thoughtful mindful of how he's words and actions affect him, heal him, cater to him.

Jimin is a highly emotionally intelligent human being so you can understand why. He has a lot of things emotionally in common with Jimin.

However he has a lot of things in common with Jungkook too and he's known Jungkook the longest. Which is also why people mistake that interest in Jk for love and desire.

Think of Jimin and Jungkook. That's how I think V feels most of the time.

He met Jungkook first and was very close to him before JM came into the picture. Yet suddenly Jungkook is more close to Jimin than him. He even had to beg JK to treat him more like a friend than a hyung and yet Jimin was out there crying and complaining Jungkook refused to see him and treat him as a hyung 🥺

Then he and Jimin also went to school together because of their same age and he was supposed to be closest with Jimin, however that's not the case. No matter how close he and Jimin are Jimin and Jungkook are closer than that😩

I think all he's wanted is someone's full attention. Not to share that person with other people. His own close nit tight friend who would prioritize him have their own secret pledge and handshake etc.

I think it's why he says he doesn't want to share his Wooga squad with BTS. He wouldn't even let Suga meet them and Suga complained about that thinking they were more like ghosts.

And if I remember JK used to poke him whenever he said he wanted to do things either on his own or outside the group, he'd ask with who, not with us?

Yet if Jimin had made those comments he would immediately assume JM was talking about doing those things him- and he would be right.

During their round table, everyone predicted Jimin wrote a note to Jk. Should have been V if they all thought that's where Jimin's interests lay.

If Jimin were an introvert who had no other friends apart from V I think Vmin would have looked very different. If Jimin was comfortable with V and V alone we would see a lot of Jimlos moments- I mean look at Jungkook😹

And now that they were, they been cautious since. This wasn't some premiere outing with two friends & cameras on a random day. We are talking 2 people who have spelled it out they are queer, who are rumored to be dating, who were caught out on their private time together, on a COUPLE HOLIDAY with no other members of BTS & it spread all over the internet. The only duo of BTS rumored to be dating and they are the only two caught out together on a real couple holiday. Yeah, its a big damn deal.

Shouting into the void with a long rant, but I’m sort of confused by some of the takes I’ve been seeing about the Jikook NYC trip. Basically, I don’t understand why people think it’s weird that Jimin went radio silent or that neither of them have acknowledged the trip. I’m surprised because I’ve seen quite a few people saying this on multiple platforms.

Jimin never updates us on what he’s doing on a work trip? He barely uses social media or updates us on his life at all (can’t believe he actually forgot his password 😭) so honestly why were people expecting him to be actively posting things while in NY? He literally just went to London, completely disappeared, came back and then finally shared pictures of his HP tour on Instagram. And we still have no idea what he was actually in London for, he just ghosted us until he was back. So, there’s nothing odd about him going to NY and disappearing if he didn’t have a public appearance to attend.

At the end of Jungkook’s live he said he had schedules to go to that he couldn’t talk about, but that he thought ARMY would enjoy. Then he left and presumably met up with Jimin. So I think we can infer that the schedule he was referring to probably had something to do with whatever Jikook were doing in CT. And they had a camera crew with them, GoPros, and mics, so they were definitely filming content. Jungkook literally said in his live he couldn’t talk about what he was doing… so, why do people find it weird that they… didn’t talk about what they were doing? They’re especially not going to acknowledge something that is supposed to be a future project.

Anyways, there are a lot of interesting mysteries about their CT trip! And regardless of their motives, it seems like jkk had a lot of fun and Jimin was still physically present for JK during a monumental moment in his life. But I think there are some points that people are emphasizing as ‘weird’ or ‘significant’ or ‘suspect’ that have me scratching my head a bit because it contradicts what we know about them as individuals and the little bits of information we have about their trip.

And I’ll cap this rant post off with something else that’s been bothering me. It’s not weird or significant that Jimin didn’t appear in Jungkook’s post GMA live. That wasn’t a normal live, and it’s not really comparable to the one that JH did after Lolla or YG did after his concert. This was the first live that JK did after his debut as a soloist, and he used it to talk about the MV and his song. I’m assuming it was meant to be like the ones that the other members did where they talked about their albums a bit. That’s definitely not the sort of live Jimin would or should make an appearance on. It was basically part of an official schedule for JK.

I just want to say thank you for your sanity. It is so lonely being a Jikook supporter, among all of the conspiracy theory cult-like jikookers that will attack you if you don’t agree that Jikook are married and speak to army in code. I think the Jungkook video is real. And I also see that Jungkook is telling us he loves having sex with women. So be it. I’m not crying myself to sleep. I love seeing him happy! Jimin and Jungkook have a very interesting relationship but it’s theirs to define. Only they know what goes on when they are alone.

In my personal life, as well as here, I've always been a true realist so I'll always say things like I see them, even if it pains me a little. I was , and actually am still rooting for Jimin and JK being together because I love their bond and to me they seem very well suited for each other, but their relationship belongs to them. As you said, I won't cry over it. Even if they never were a couple, I'd be okay, albeit I'd feel a little dumb. And if JK is a man who loves to have sex with women (as his music suggests) , then good for him and so be it. It wasn't my image of him, but that doesn't matter. Having sex is fine when it's because two consenting adults, so power to him, I guess.

I hope Jimin is being loved and having awesome sex , too! 😆

hi I read a jikook fic on ao3 awhile ago im dying to reread but I can't find it anywhere.

I don't remember exact plot points but it's set around Christmas time, they're together, and go on a trip w all the other boys who are dating (one girl), it's a spooky mystery type where they get mystery presents from someone unknown (this is a point where its revealed the gifts are to/from who theyre ACTUALLY in love with), and jk ends up being in love with tae,, but then jikook ends up back together because it's revealed there was some demonic or ghost stuff going on.
