Lazy Sunday mornings were James’s favorite. A relaxing shower after his early morning run, lounging in bed until the others woke up, a casual breakfast sitting across from Lily in her rumpled jumper, and trying not to let himself go soft-eyed as he thought of the way her eyes sparkled like the stars overhead as he fucked her under the quidditch hoops last night. 

Nice, casual Sunday morning. 

They ambled back to the common room, and the eight of them lounged on the couches in various states of studying. Lily sat at the table with Remus, with both of their Ancient Runes and Arithmancy texts in front of them, though James couldn't tell which they were actually studying. 

James positioned himself on the couch across from them so that he could see Lily easily. He tried to look at his Transfiguration book more than he watched the way she tucked hair behind her ear or how she would bite her lip as she focused on a particular problem.

Merlin, he had it bad.

I hate how everyone shits on soft! Remus Lupin like as if canonical he isn’t the biggest sweetheart ever.

This TikTok post from @theonottineedusobad made me so happy and sad bc Remus is just so good™️ and I think the fandom forgets this for the new bad boy version of Remus that to me seems so forced and off putting

Let Remus be soft again!!! Let him wear his jumpers and read his books without smoking weed or stealing. Let him play pranks without being cold, let him be nice and gentle and sensible while also being a smart and mischievous teenage boy.

my chronically annoyed ass comes across one of those "canon characters react to fanon ships" and one of them was tomarry and in the post, harry's like, "UM EW WTF.. blah blah" and i just got So pissed, like, just because the ship that you like is canon doesn't make you morally superior! obviously canon harry wouldn't want to get fucked by voldemort! but you do realise that talented people who make this pairing plausible with their amazing writing skills and headcanons exist, right?

and another post that was like, "i can't believe millenials get these amazing ships like jily, remadora, hinny, (continues stating het canon pairings) but gen z decided these were trash because they were fxm... and decided drarry, tomarry.. (continues stating gay pairings) etc. were better," and, like,

NO???? you just stated the most bland, boring pairings in the whole series?? it's not our fault your reading comprehension is so abysmal that you think jily, a white heterosexual couple that got married straight out of highschool is more interesting than the hot mess that is drarry/tomarry???
