some jinjoo&yohan post canon headcanons: 

she starts being suspicious when her new department receives a donation in her name. it’s huge amount of money and she has to explain that it really wasn’t her

every month she gets a new postcard from switzerland. they’re beautiful but there’s nothing written on them. she cannot stop thinking it’s from someone who’s supposed to be dead 

next time gaon visits her in her hometown (she’s the only friend he has left so he visits fairly often), she straight up asks how’s the chief doing and watches his panicked expression

she asks for his number and after thoroughly scolding yohan and crying a bit, she makes him promise to keep in touch. yohan is a bit flustered but also relieved 

yohan asks her to keep an eye on gaon (because he’s trying to keep his distance for now and not contact him too often)

jinjoo finds it a bit amusing, watching them both dance around each other

they often talk on the phone, jinjoo asks him for work related stuff and gives him cooking tips in exchange.

she's the only person yohan ever calls apart from gaon and he often puts her on the speaker so elijah joins their talks too

she visits in the summer and they go to an expensive restaurant, to make up for their first disastrous dinner together. it’s much nicer this time 

they send gaon pictures from their hike together and he’s only a little bit jealous. he swears to take a lot of pictures when he visits soon

yohan makes a promise that one day he will tell her the truth about everything that happened

imagine gaon visiting jinjoo in her hometown some months later. they have drinks and talk about everything but gaon carefully avoids talking about yohan. jinjoo notices so she doesn’t mention him either. but when gaon leaves she tells him, ‘give my regards to chief kang when you see him’ and smiles. he’s so shocked he doesn’t know how to react but she continues, “and thank him for the postcards, they’re lovely”.
