Have you seen the official translation? Now I heavily believe he still alive but the official translation are giving me doubts but in imo if he’s really dead then it will be bad writing because how come the hero can’t be “overpowered” because it would “ruined” the story/plot but one does a terrible death like that for such a great character two how come the villain can be overpowered and get a random power up without it “ruining” the story/plot three considering there’s only like 5-6 important characters left the ending will not be great imo (sorry for the long rant/ask)

Yes, I've seen the official translation and just replied to someone regarding that. Theres a small bit of hope and ive typed it there. I also hope he spawns out of nowhere like toji or as a cursed spirit- that would be interesting.

Moving on, we've already seen bad writing with whats going on between meimei and uiui- like dont even get me started on that monstrosity. But this is just going to push the bad writing narrative further, because you cant just create a character so overpowered (in words, atleast) hype him up so hard, just to give an unsatisfying ending. Its not bad to kill off characters imo, but atleast make it make sense. To kill off a character who's been called the strongest all along, off screen and not actually explain properly is terrible writing. Gege already kinda fumbles around with explanations about techniques, doesnt follow the powerscaling that they created and now this. Its pretty disappointing.

Couldve atleast given him a proper death, if that is the case. Considering the popularity of Gojo this wasnt the right call to make either.

The villain having the power up could just be an example of gege either hating gojo as always and trying to get rid of him, or he's trying to fasten the pace of the story. Not the best way to go about though.

Ending not being great is kind of a given imo. If gojo is gone and Nobara- a long story, i believe he'd prolly finish off megumi and go with what he said in an interview “Among Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, and Gojo, one will die, or all but one will die."

It seems to me that we're heading towards the latter. He doesnt have a proper concept of female characters. Maki has accomplished what she wanted to, Toge well idk, Panda cant do much with his father figure and teacher gone. Yuta and Yuji are left in that sense with all others being characters who wouldnt get their big moments. I wonder where the story would head with this.

The last couple of days, I’ve been contemplating the eventual end of Jujutsu Kaisen. With it being much closer than ever, my mind went into many different directions and this post is to essentially discuss them. Especially now that the anime is tackling the Shibuya Arc and we’re about to feel a…pain soon. Warning for anime and manga spoilers ahead.

For a while, with how there’s were heading, I initially thought that the series was going to have a very melancholic end. Like to the point where the Sorcerers win but at a very severe cost. With Gojo, Megumi, Nobara and many other significant characters in the series being dead, I wouldn’t be hard to assume that Yuji would be left, essentially all alone. After everything becoming a changed man only really achieving his goal many years into the future.

Though my stance may have changed significantly since, with it being possible for the three coming back before the end of the series. With Gojo going through a possible able to bring himself back to life and second awakening similar to his one with Toji, the death of Nobara not being 100% confirmed and there still being room for Yuji to possibly save Megumi from Sukuna’s possession. Likely at the expense of Yuji’s life, making use of what Megumi said in the beginning of the series.

Though these are equally as sad, I somehow came up with possibly the most unrealistic scenario but I’m gonna write about it anyway. Given that Yuji’s mother, before she died and her body was taken over by Kenjaku, is that she was a Jujutsu sorcerer when had a technique called anti-gravity. Given the name, its possible that it’s possible that given the amount of determination, its possible that a character could manipulate time. With how things are, it wouldn’t be so uncharacteristic for Yuji wanting to do anything to stop Kenjaku and Sukuna and suddenly developing the technique. Even if it meant his own existence.

With his new technique, he pretty much changes the course of history for…everyone. First, Yuji went to the past to deal with Kenjaku, dealing with him before he has a chance to construct his plan of merging humanity with cursed energy. With his creator now dead and defeated before he had a chance to create him, Yuji goes on to make his friends lives a little easier.

His parents, his father and what would’ve been his mother having a normal life, or about ass normal of a life as they can. Yuji does something that helps Megumi’s mother , meaning Toji doesn’t abandon Megumi and the three live on to a relatively normal life. With Toji being out of the picture during Gojo and Geto’s mission, then Rika’s mission would’ve been a success and Geto and Gojo being untraumatised by the mission. Though it’s possible that Gojo would have his awakening at some point, it would’ve come some time later. Geto doesn’t have a depressive breakdown but gets close to murderous when he and Gojo do to that village and finds Mimiko and Nanako. Geto adopts the two girls, raising them alongside Gojo and Shoko who help them with their cursed techniques. Haibara survived his mission with Nanami and is alive in the present day. The second years their best lives altogether with Mai and Maki being very close.

Megumi, Nobara and even Junpei attend Jujutsu Tech alongside Nanako and Mimiko with Gojo as their teacher. None of them really take him seriously but they respect him as the strongest. Nobara meets Saori while shopping after someone (Yuji) rudely bumped into her and she keeps close contact with her. Their time as students are relatively peaceful by Jujutsu sorcerer standards and everyone is happy. And that’s all Yuji wants for them.

Meanwhile, Yuji is spends what little time he has on his own, reminiscing about his life and even watched his old friends have the happy lives that they deserve. His life with his grandfather, his time during his non sorcerer life before he ate Sukuna’s fingers and was thrusted into it. The happy times he had with his friends and people around him before Shibuya. Before the Culling Games. Thinking about the past as he wanders around before he boards a train, to where his resting place will be.

Though, despite all his efforts, his technique wasn’t all that perfect. Despite the happy lives everyone lives, everyone, particularly Megumi, Nobara and especially Gojo knows that something is wrong. None of this is right. They remember things that didn’t happen. Geto starting a murderous cult, Haibara’s death, Megumi’s memories of him and Tsumiki before Gojo took them in.

Sometimes…sometimes they see a boy with pink hair wearing their uniform or a hoodie with a big smile on their. Calling them by their names. Seeing him die. Popping out of box after said death.

They’ve seen him walking past them. HIs gaze following them. The sad smile he has before he goes on his way, as if he knows them.

But no matter how much they try, they can’t remember his name.

When they do, its almost too late.

They all just barely make it to the beach where Yuji is there, all alone. Megumi and Nobara run over at him, yelling and even hitting him for doing so many stupid things. Meanwhile Gojo is standing back waiting for the pair to lash it all out before he quickly joins them, praising Yuji for defeating Kenjaku. He laughs and smiles at them before seeing Nobara and Megumi crying. Despite somewhat expecting this end, he can’t end but cry as well. With doing everything that he could to make them have happy lives, he kind of became resigned to have the same fate as his grandfather. Dying alone with his loved ones unable to remember him. They three are there for his final moment before he slowly dies, a big smile on his face. Receiving a proper death surrounded by his friends and teacher.

I know I’m probably wrong about this but i made myself cry for like an hour thinking about this and again when i was putting it to words :,) Least i hope someone out there thinks the same way as me.

Toji has never once shown his vulnerability towards the scar he has on his lips. He never even talks about them. But you know he is somewhere insecure about it when he stops and stares in the mirror while shaving, green eyes scanning the scar. Or when he purposely rests the right side of his face in his hand so the palm hides it. He thought he was being subtle with it, but you noticed. You noticed how deep down he was scared to even talk about it, let alone wear it with pride. That scar was a nightmare and he hated how it was visible to him, to everyone in the most obvious place.

"Toji?" you cooed from behind, walking into the hall while he was watching TV.

"Yes, baby?"

"I bought a new gloss, and i want to test if it's transfer proof."

"Don't know what that is but c'mere, lovie. Sit on my lap while you do it." You smiled and plopped yourself on his laps. Before he could finally look at you, you pressed your tinted glossy lips at the end of his lips where the scar settled.

he tried opening his lips to catch yours but you didn't really kiss his lips. he was so confused why you were pecking one spot.

*one peck. two peck. three peck. smooches tightly*

"D'ya know? I love this." You ran your thumb over the skin. "It makes me realize how strong you are, Toji. Sooo strong. Please don't hide it. It makes you look more handsome." He couldn't form words. The sudden love bomb opened a can of bad memories. Yet, oddly, he was comforted by your words. For a man so big, he was still weak over you and your love. Because you determined his vulnerability. Which is why your relationship was perfect. He is not the kind of man to be vocal about his issues but you read him like an open book. You understand him before he even has to spell it out.

Toji rested his forehead against yours, inhaling and exhaling with his eyes closed. God. He feels so in love, it kills him. What would he do without you? Everyone picked his flesh till it was just his heart exposed in the dirt, still struggling to beat. But you found it. Not to pick anymore flesh(there was none left). But to rip open your ribs and keep that heart locked in you forever. Safe and sound.

I don't know about you, but every time I listen to Akari by Soushi Sakiyama (the second season ending song) I feel an indescribable peace. I would definitely listen to it while making tea or reading a book and that would be the best feeling in my life. Something about the singer's voice, the instrumental or even the Japanese words makes me feel so good. I hope Shibuya's ending is as good.

"toru", you whisper in a slight panic, reaching out in an attempt to find your snowy haired boyfriend in the dark. you glance at the alarm clock which reads 6:32 in blaring red lights.

"toru," you say again, this time more urgently. your hands working to untangle the sheets around the both of you and shake him awake. your palms press against his cool skin as you give him a gentle push before violently shaking him.

"what the f- baby? whats goin' on?" he groans tiredly as he's jolted from his sleep. you take about half a second to swoon over his groggy, sleepy voice before another crash sounds from downstairs and you jump slightly, clinging to satoru.

"did you hear that?!"

he furrows his brows slightly and nods, smoothly unwrapping you from him and standing up.

"i'll go see what it is."

you nod and stand up as well.

"i'll come too."

"what? no- there could be a serial killer or something."

"whats a serial killer gonna do against you?"

"thats not the point-"

CRASH!

the both of you jump and grab the other one. carefully, satoru leads you both out and into the hallway. all is silent before a quiet gasp is heard followed by a hush and muted giggling.

you and satoru exchange a glance before creeping down the stairs and peering into the kitchen.

"megumi, you gotta be quiet," tsumiki whispers, "we'll wake gojo and y/n up!"

"you're the one who keeps dropping stuff!" megumi insists, a small pout on the little boy's face. he stands on his tip toes, peering over the top of the stove into the pan of... something.

you cock your head and try not to gag as the smell of whatever's in the pan hits you.

"do you think they'll like their breakfast in bed?" tsumiki asks with an excited smile on her face. her brother just shrugs and adds way too much salt to their concoction.

your boyfriend turns to you with a panicked expression and mouths 'breakfast?!' you elbow him softly and motion your head towards the stairs. you both creep back up to your bedroom with a soft sigh.

"i am not eating whatever the hell was on that stove."

you fix him with an icy glare.

"satoru gojo you will eat what those children have made for us and you will like it."

true to your word, an hour later when tsumiki proudly presented a tray of... breakfast , if you could call it that, with a sullen megumi in tow you both acted pleasantly surprised and choked down the food gratefully.
