Imagine being Toji's second wife and Megumi's stepmother, and a good one at that. One that didn’t leave him and Tsumiki behind.

The first memory Megumi has of you is when you offered him cake the day you married his dad, and making a funny face when he refused it. You're a breath of fresh air in Toji's life after the passing of his beloved first wife: You're sweet, cheerful, understanding, and self-sufficient. He appreciates your kindness and patience towards him and Megumi, but still, it's not enough to make him give up his bad habits.

Every time Toji goes "job-hunting", he's gone for days, and returns home with lots of money, which he quickly gambles away. You've learned to be quicker and make sure to grab enough from the pile to pay the bills. However, you point out to him the importance of being a father to your children since Megumi is barely aware of his presence and doesn't remember his father much.

Your sincere dedication to his son coupled with your undying loyalty to him has Toji thinking that you have a poor taste in men and deserve more. But still, he holds you close one night and promises to take you all to a fancy restaurant once he gets another big job.

It's a promise that Toji never fulfills. After going out for said "big job", he doesn't return home. You looked for him relentlessly, but it's like he never existed at all.

When many weeks go by, you choose to believe he ran off with another woman rather than think he messed with the wrong people and was in danger. It's a very painful scenario, but you keep yourself grounded by focusing on raising your darling Tsumiki and dear Megumi, working harder to support them on your own.

Megumi is in elementary school when he starts seeing "ghosts" (curses, actually) and has two dogs following him around, and he becomes sullen as a result. Neither Tsumiki or you can see a thing, but you do believe him because you can perceive there's something off. Instead of freaking out or treating him differently, you told him he should use his gift wisely to help others. Also, you tasked Tsumiki with looking after her younger brother, which she gladly did.

When you spotted Satoru Gojo introducing himself to Megumi on the street, you mistook him for a pervert that was trying to kidnap your boy, and hit his head with a broom. He explained to you everything regarding the sorcery world, curses, Megumi's distinguished heritage, and Toji's deal with the Zen'in.

Although it vexed you to find out what Toji had done, you acknowledged that the Zen'in were better equipped to help Megumi handle his power. Yet, you weren't eager to part from your son. You were willing to give up your life savings to prevent the Zen'in from taking Megumi, and to avoid placing over his shoulders the weight of becoming a sorcerer in exchange for the financial aid you all needed and cancelling his sale to the Zen'in clan.

You tried hard to hide you're struggling from your children. Megumi knows you have two jobs to support them, and that you insist in putting them to bed early so they won't find out you take extra shifts. He knows there's exhaustion behind your blithe expression, and so, he decided to take on Gojo’s offer and you respected his choice.

But that doesn't stop you from feeling like you didn't do enough for him. Like you also sold your son.

Apparently, the whole thing did take its toll on Megumi as he hit puberty. He grew into a morose, impersonal, and cynical young man. You frequently had to bail him out of trouble at school for fighting, and Tsumiki always tried to reason with Megumi that fighting was not the ideal solution. Though you joked that he probably was going to be a boxer one of these days, in private, you told him that there were better ways to do justice that didn't involve getting detention. You also reminded him he had been born with a gift he could use for that purpose, and encouraged him to make friends, as they made life more bearable.

Megumi often wonders why a woman that was abandoned by her husband chose to burden herself with a child that's not biologically hers. You're a saint for refusing to speak ill of Toji and remembering him fondly. Megumi doesn't understand why you're always doting and smiling at him, even when he refuses to acknowledge you as his mother and openly tells you that your attitude gets on his nerves. You take his comments with a grain of salt, because you know that underneath his cold exterior, Megumi is a good boy, and you make sure he knows you’re proud of being his mother.

"We're family and we love you. Of course we care about you. But you already know that, do you?"

You said so casually, not judging Megumi for questioning your actions. He was taken aback with your earnest words, but Megumi came to realize that you held a special place in his heart that no other person had...

"I just wish that you'd call me 'Mom'~💕" You added with a playful tone and hugging him tightly.

...Even when you annoyed him sometimes.

Then, one afternoon you receive a dreadful call from Tsumiki's school telling you she collapsed. You picked up Megumi from school and reassured him with a smile that Tsumiki probably had skipped breakfast and she fainted because of that. He immediately noticed how your fingers trembled on the steering wheel and you gnawed your lower lip as you drove to the hospital.

The harsh reality hit you like a ton of bricks: Tsumiki had fallen into a coma because she had been cursed by an unknown force, and there was no way to know when she was going to wake up, if ever. For the first time, Megumi saw the joy disappear from your eyes and you broke down in tears, despairing over your daughter's condition.

Seeing his kind sister bedridden and his gentle mother sadly watching over her struck a chord in Megumi. Having his family break apart and becoming aware of how wrong he had been all along was what drove Megumi to take your advice and fully embrace his fate as a sorcerer to help others.

Before departing to Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College to start his training, he promised you to help Tsumiki regain consciousness and be safe. But not without apologizing for being so awful to both of you, and regretting not giving you a chance to be closer earlier.

"You really honor your name." You smiled at him for the first time in weeks. It wasn't enthusiastic, but it held the same love and kindness as your other smiles. "You are a blessing, Megumi."

"I'm the one that is blessed to be your son, Mom. I've always been."

This was something that I wrote half-asleep, it came to me out of the blue and was fueled by my suppressed maternal instincts. Megumi seriously needs a loving parent. I tag you @kweenkatsuki because we relate to each other and you encouraged me to finish this lol

Summary for chapter: You and sukuna are living the best life the both of you can think of and now with a new member of the family his life seemed normal. But sukuna's curse did not want him to be happy. Things soon begin to fall apart all over again.

Over a few months, sukuna watched your belly grow with a bump of his child inside of you. You lay on the bed taking a nap with yuji laying in your arms. Both of you sound asleep. Sukuna walked in with a tray of tea for you seeing that you were asleep already. He smirked then quietly walked in, putting the tray down. He looked at yuji and picked him up then took him out of the room to let you get a full sleep with nothing disturbing you. When he came back to see you turning onto your side but grunted from you not able to.

Sukuna came over to you and laid down next to you. Instantly you felt his warmth and presence then nuzzled against him. A smile formed on his face as he put a hand to your swollen stomach and rubbed it. It stirred you awake as you opened your eyes, seeing your face hidden in sukuna's neck. Hearing his pur and feeling the vibration from his neck he tail wrapped over your hip. "Sukuna?"

He moved a little to look down at you and concerned filled his eyes but he kept himself calm physically. "Hey darling you alright. I brought you tea. Do you want some? It will help with your stomach." You smiled with a nod watching him move off the bed then made you a cup of tea as you sat up. He handed you the tea feeling the warmth from the cup in your hands. Sukuna stared at you with loud purrs and perked ears waiting for your approval on the tea.

You looked up to him tasting the tea, the warmth of the natural flavor spreading across your tongue. "Its tastes great sukuna thank you." His cheeks tinted pink and looked away with a smile then you gazed at your belly and giggled. "The baby likes it too. I felt it kick." Sukuna looked at you tilting his head then placed both his hands to your belly. You could feel the baby squirm against the wall of your tummy and see the wide smile on the sukuna.

He pressed his lips to your stomach and began talking to the child you carried. Sukuna felt them kick against his mouth making him chuckle and say "well someone is going to be strong." He felt the baby kick again, making him laugh. You looked at the scene in front of you, watching sukuna's tail sway side to side like a happy animal and the proud wide loving smile on his face. It was bringing tears to your eyes.

How you never expected to have this life in front of your eyes. Finding a loving home with a weretiger that is your husband now and a father.

Sukuna looked over at you seeing the tears that started to escape your eyes. His ears laid flat and worry filled his face. "Darling what is wrong? Did something happen? What hurts?"

You smiled, wiping your tears and said "no nothing hurts sukuna. It's just that I am so happy to be with you. I never thought I would have this life. I love you."

Sukuna came over to you with a flick in his tail then placed a kiss to your lips wiping away the tears on your cheeks with his thumbs. You could feel the purr vibrate through his throat to your lips. "I love you more." He said pulling away from you and placed a blanket over to keep you warm. It was hard to tell him that you could do things on your own and still walk around but he was stubborn and wanted to be at your side any step of the way. Which means he will take care of you like a queen, bring you food, drinks, blankets and watch over you like a guard dog.

Sukuna always took you out to the flower field to have lunch and watch little yuji run around chasing butterflies and pouncing on flowers like a good tiger cub. Though sukuna always had a bad feeling and would stare in the direction of the forest. He felt like his family was being watched. But as you sat on the blanket drinking tea and sukuna crawling after his son. Yuji running with as much as his legs could carry him laughing and yelling. Sukuna looked over to you then started to crawl his way to you and got lower as if he was hunting.

You laughed and told him to stop. He smirked licking his lips. "Why should I when there is a beautiful woman all alone for me to devour." Your attention turned to yuji who was stalking his dad. You smiled and said "oh great beast you are mistaken for I am not alone." He raised an eyebrow then yuji pounced on sukuna’s side with little growls. Sukuna chuckled and laid onto his back in defeat. Both you and sukuna went into fits of laughter as he held up yuji telling him that he is a good boy.

Like what some big cats would do with their cubs when encouraging them, making them think they do good with practicing their bites or hunting. Sukuna would let yuji think he is strong. Yuji would teeth on sukuna making his dad fake groan in pain.

In the middle of the night he would leave when you were asleep or when you were busy with yuji, to go off outside and patrol his land. He needed to keep you and his kids safe from anyone and anything. Even more so that you are pregnant he was extra aggressive when he was outside. Sukuna had you in his lap, his kimono wrapped around you along with his arms around you to keep you warm.

Your stomach felt swollen and heavy. You were close to giving birth at any time; it was just the matter of when and sukuna could sense it too. As you struggle off his lap he helps you to let you take a walk around the garden. He sat watching you with close eyes seeing you sniff different flowers rubbing your tummy with a smile on his face. Yuji played with his toys sukuna had made for him carved animals made of wood. He always held onto a plush tiger he had taken from a village as a mockery of his family to sell tiger things but it made his son happy.

You were walking back to him with arms around your tummy but then felt a pressure through your stomach. Suddenly you groaned with pain and water came from you. As soon as sukuna saw this his tail fluffed and ears went down and ran quickly to you. He scooped you up into his arms and yelled for uraume. Yuji was put away in his room but the sudden move away from you made him start to cry.

Sukuna knew what to do after watching the mother of yuji. He was more panicked at that time and had to steal a nurse from a village to help. Though the nurse didn't live too soon after, she promised sukuna to keep his family a secret. After seeing him with baby yuji in his arms, the love that filled his eyes, the woman never saw anything like it, nothing like the stories she had heard about him. When she left his shrine hunters saw her and killed her anyway so no word was spoken of his family.

When you finally heard the cries of a baby you opened your tear filled eyes and saw sukuna with some blood on his arms and holding a baby girl. You gazed to her little small tiger tail and little folded tiger ears. Sukuna brought your baby to your arms as you cried and held her. Sukuna smiled and purred, closing his eyes when he felt tears roll out.

Months passed and your baby girl was all giggles and big smiles. Even more so with her father. Sukuna would hold her and tickle her nose with the tip of his tail making her giggle. Yuji would stand beside his dad staring at his baby sister and putting toys in her face. But him being an excited tiger cub he ran around and went to sit onto your lap. It was a battle of the kids between you and sukuna. You need to feed your daughter so you will hand him yuji to go rough house with for a moment.

You would hear growls between the two of them but as always you noticed that yuji is going to be mom's boy and your daughter a daddy's girl. Both you and sukuna love them equally but your daughter being a new baby she required a lot of attention which was draining you. Sukuna noticed this and wanted to relax you by making you more than relaxed.

Sukuna saw you in the bath house washing up then decided to join you. His eyes looked over your curvy figure. He knew that all the biting he was giving you was poison to normal humans. With his beautiful teeth sinking into your flesh. He knows that you were obtaining powers of the were tiger gene but the only time it will change humans with his bite is during a blue moon. He sees it everyday in your body and behavior.

Sukuna smirked and disrobed his kimono leaving him bare and quietly walked behind you. You felt a sense behind you as you turned quickly to see sukuna freezing in his spot. "Well darling you are getting pretty good at that. It seems that I can not sneak up on you anymore love." He came up to you as you turned your back to sukuna then felt him press up behind you.

Even though you healed up quickly after the birth of your daughter he waited patiently for you to fully recover to bed you again. Your cheeks flushed as you felt his bare body press against your back. His lips found their way to your ear giving a light nip to your ear lobe. "I want you my dear. I know you crave this big tiger." He let out a purr against your neck as you let out a sigh and pushed back against him feeling his bare shaft against your rear.

"Sukuna, I want to take a bath." He chuckled and said "you can still take your bath. I will take one with you but just wait till after darling." You and sukuna made flirting eyes to each other across the water as he just watched and adored your form. You could not help but to smile.

After heading into the bedroom you and sukuna were fumbling with each other's kimono and stripped bare as you landed back onto the bed. You still liked to call it his bed, wanting to be bedded and dominated by him. Though he always corrected you by saying 'our bed' but your slight kink was his bed his domain.

As sukuna slowly thrusted into you the both of you looked over at the baby girl in the crib asleep. The love making of the both of you has evidence of the love asleep in her crib. You kept your moans muffled against his neck but his tiger side was slowly taking over as he thrusted harder into you, his hands clawing into the pillow under your head. Sukuna brought her over to you and watched you feed the baby. He tilted his head watching as you looked up to him and raised an eyebrow. After she was full and falling asleep again sukuna placed her back into her crib then went back to you. He laid his head onto your lap looking at your breast full and plump with milk. You noticed his eyes gazed at yours and purred. "You want to taste?"

A pink tint filled his cheeks and looked away from you feeling ashamed he even had that thought. How dare he take food from the baby, that was her food and he felt bad. You giggled and put your hands under his chin giving his cheeks a pet with your thumbs and forcing him to look at you. "Did you ever try breast milk before?" He let out a deep growl as you held your baby girl worried as yuji looked over to where his dad was looking. "Get the kids inside and do not come out till I come back. Do you hear me." You quickly took the baby and had yuji follow back inside as he ran beside you inside the shrine.

Sukuna growled and ran off into the forest. It was already night and kids were asleep after you gave them both their dinner. Yuji was worried about his dad as he kept going outside to the garden calling out for sukuna. You walked around the shrine waiting for him to come home but he still was not here. Walking through his home 'our home' you found yourself at his throne. Tears filled your eyes as you walked up to it and ran your hands across the ox skulls and tiger statues on the sides of his seat. "Ryomen sukuna, you better come home. You promised to be by my side forever. Please my love come home to me."

You took a seat on his throne, maybe he will come home sooner if you were here. Cuddling against yourself with soft sniffles waiting for your tiger to come home. You didn't even realize that you fell asleep when your eyes fluttered open and saw yourself still on his throne but with a blanket over you. A smile filled your face thinking he had come home and did not want to disturb you. But why would he not take you to the room? "Ryomen!" Running through the shrine excitedly trying to find him. You looked in every room but you did not hear or see him anywhere. "Sukuna?"

"He did not come home. He is still out in the forest." You turned to see uraume standing in the hall. "I am going to look for him, he could be hurt?!" "I advise you not to go outside because he would not be happy." You snapped at uraume and walked away angry with worry that something happened to him. You took one of the short Japanese swords he had decorated on the walls of his shrine then headed to the front door. "Stop, don't go, you are going to get hurt. Sukuna can not lose you!"

Letting out growls and turned around with a red color lacing parts of your eyes. "I am not losing sukuna! My husband! The father of my children! I am going to find him!" With that you ran out the shrine across the field to the forest. Uraume yelled for you to come back but he could not leave the home with the kids inside he needed to stay to protect them.

You could sense sukuna somewhere in the forest, the feeling of warmth and love. Is this what he feels with you? As you walked along the path close to the edge of the woods so you could run back home, you heard a growl. You knew it was stupid to yell for him that would give away your spot. Starting to feel a sense of danger and being watched backing up. Deciding to leave and go back home you heard a crack behind you.

You froze but it didn't feel like danger and all your heard was a deep growl as you looked to see sukuna with his glowing red eyes. "What the fuck are you out here!" "Sukuna..your alright." Relief waved over you but he did not look happy. "Get back home now!" He yelled at you. "Sukuna what are you doing out here the kids miss you. Come home please." He growled and grabbed your wrist and pulled you with him. You struggled against him trying to pull your wrist free as he squeezed his grip around it. "Sukuna it hurts. Let me go."

When you got to the field he swung you around to face him and growled. He looked angry with viscous eyes showing you his fangs. "Get. Back. Home. Now!" "Sukuna please." You begin to tear up as he heard noises behind him then pushes you. The force of his push made you stumble and fall back into the grass as you heard him roar in pain. Arrows stuck into his side as he ran back into the woods. All you could hear was the yells of men and roars of sukuna.

You sat up hearing someone running and you looked over to see a man coming at you. Still having the sword with you then pulled it out to protect yourself but then you watched him slice into three pieces. Sukuna ran up to you and picked you up into his arms as you looked back to see parts of the forest burning along the border of his land and the forest. You knew this was his power he could control a tiger of fire.

When he made it through the door of his home he landed on the floor dropping you. He groaned in pain and lifted himself up off the floor. You could see the blood leaking from his wounds. He gazed at you as uraume came in to explain that he was trying to stop you but could not leave the kids. "Quiet!"

Knowing you crossed the line and disobeyed his orders to not leave. "Sukuna.." "I said quietly! You disobeyed me. You could have been killed!" Not liking the way he was yelling at you, all you were doing is trying to get him back home. "I went to find you! You left me, your wife alone all day, me and the kids worried about you! And you have the nerve to yell at me! You could have been hurt out there!" Sukuna stood up with a grunt and yelled more.

"I can handle myself, woman! You are the one that can be easily killed for being a human! So listen to me when I say stay fucking home!" You growled eyes lacing red. "You can still be hurt sukuna! If I am so much of a problem for you, why even marry me if being a human is an issue to you!" He growled frustrated and in pain. "Maybe marrying you was a issue after all if you don't fucking listen!"

Feeling your heart break at his words all you did was go look for him because you worried and loved him. Tears filled your eyes as uraume looked at sukuna and said "my lord." Sukuna breathed hard and looked over you growling as you covered your mouth from not showing your quivering lip as tears streamed down your face. His face softened the realization hitting him of what he said. "Darling?"

You cried and ran off away from him his tail went limp and ears went back as he went to run after you but almost fell over from his wounds. Uraume went to his side and made him go to the room the get patched up. You didn't know where you were going as you ran through his throne room and went outside. You just wanted to be alone for a while to gather your thoughts and calm down before you see him. You ended up walking into the abandoned shrine and wiped away your tears.

You walked around the room seeing the metal chain and all the claw marks on the floor and walls. It still saddens you that sukuna had to lock himself away because he was a so-called beast and monster. After calming down you saw a wooden chest covered with an old tapestry of a tiger. You moved the dusty banner and opened the chest seeing things that belonged to a woman. A dark red maroon color kimono and set it to the side. As you looked through the chest, seeing bottles with spider lilies inside them dried over time. A couple of wooden tigers and hearts with his name and yuji’s carved in them.

Tears filled your eyes. This had to be stuff from yuji’s mother. He kept them in here for safe keeping. You could tell from the things in this chest she loved her family deeply and who are you to take sukuna away from her. You noticed some rolled up scrolls and picked them up and unrolled it. Seeing it was a painting of sukuna with a baby in his arms with pink hair. You saw it was signed with a woman's name. His wife painted portraits of sukuna. The scrolls were all paintings of him and baby yuji.

"Y/n?"

Hearing the deep voice you turned around to see sukuna carrying the little bundle of joy the both of you made. "Ma." You looked to see yuji run to you and saw the wooden tigers and picked them up with a squeal. You smiled and rubbed his head as sukuna looked at yuji and told him to go play outside for a moment. Yuji made a little roar and ran outside as you avoided sukuna's gaze. He walked closer to you and sat beside your body while you held one of the wooden tigers in your hands.

Sukuna purred and put his face to the side of your head nuzzling against you. "I am sorry. I was scared that they were going to take you away from me. I can not lose you. I got angry when I saw you outside." "Sukuna, do you still miss her, your wife." He moved away looking at you and said "you are my wife." "Your first one sukuna , do you regret marrying me?" Sukuna pressed his lips against your cheek and hid his face in your neck. "I love you. I miss her but you gave me my heart back and I never want you to leave me. I worry when you are not by my side."

You faced him then pressed your lips to his, he deepened the kiss. The both of you pulled away when you heard grumbles of the baby girl in his arms. Sukuna looked down at her and held her against his neck and purred to calm her down. "Sukuna, yujis mother, seemed really lovely. Her portraits of you are perfect." He smiled seeing the wooden tiger clutched in your hands and said "you want to keep the tiger?" You nodded with a smile then put the stuff back in the chest.

"My love I am sorry about me getting aggressive, the blue moon is coming up and that's a peak of weretiger blood. So I want to ask you. Do you want to become like me and be by my side for as long as we live as tigers." "Yes". You said with a smile and took your daughter into your arms and went back inside to sleep beside sukuna.

For the few days that passed sukuna had planned to turn you into a weretiger like him. His poison bite on the blue moon would turn you but it would be difficult to control on the first run of changing. So the two of you decided to plan a date night for the blue moon. He felt like it would be better if he bit you during sex to lose your nerves of being bitten. He didn't have that time and moment to turn yujis mother to a weretiger she was killed before he had a chance. But now with you he was not losing you not a chance.

Sukuna had uraume watch the kids for the night seeing the sun go down and gazing at the sunset. You took your bath then went to walk outside while sukuna was taking his. You let uraume know that you went to go pick spider lilies for sukuna tonight. Luckily the lilies grew close to the shrine so you took a basket with you. You walked around under the light of the blue moon making your skin look pale and unnatural to human skin. Plucking the lilies you felt something unsettling in your stomach. The feeling of being watched made you start to walk away with worry.

Suddenly a sharp pain shot through the side of you, seeing a thin piece of wood in your side. You pulled it out seeing a small arrow tip and your vision went blurry. You waddled and dropped the basket then tried to run back with a hoarse cry for sukuna. Landing on your knees and breathing heavily, you soon heard footsteps run to and everything went blurry.

Sukuna was out of the bath house and dressed in his white kimono and looking like a clean stud. He was ready to have his night with you. When he looked for you he didn't see you anywhere and asked uraume where you were. Uraume mentioned that you went out to the field to get lilies but it was ever since he took a bath. Worry set in his gut since he felt something was wrong.

Sukuna walked outside the shrine smelling your scent and followed it then noticed a basket on the ground full of the flowers. His heart dropped then ran over to it then noticed the blood and wooden tiger next to the pool of blood.

His heart raced and ached. His blood begin the boil and muscles flexed. He could smell your blood leading out of his land. Sukuna was seeing red. His second pair of arms and tiger pattern showed on his back. He roared with anger then went back inside the shrine ripping off his kimono uraume knew this feeling the same feeling when he lost yuji’s mother.

Sukuna followed your scent running and jumping over obstacles in the forest till he came to the edge of the village. His red glowing eyes gazed to the village circle seeing flames lighting the center and heard you call for him. Sukuna was going to make everyone wish they were never born.
