"I Can't Do It Anymore...."

w/ Katsuki Bakugou x gn!reader

Genre: Angst/comfort

Summary: It all becomes too much and Katsuki comforts you after you attempt suicide

Warnings: attempted suicide, depression, pills, mentally abusive parents, self-doubt, idk what else, just dark shit, lemme know if I should add something

Author's Note: Sorry I haven't uploaded in like forever- also this is totally self-indulgent (is that the right word?) and just me venting in the form of a story but I'm sure someone can relate so that's okay- Also this is unedited

Katsuki Bakugou.

The light flickered as you turned it on and stepped in your bathroom, eventually it settled and stayed turned on. You made your way to the medicine cabinet and opened it, immediately searching through the bottles. Eventually you settled on a bottle of painkillers that listed your father’s name and took them out of the cabinet, shutting it. You sat the bottle on the counter and twisted the lid, opening them and lifting the bottle, looking at the contents. The bottle was nearly full, your father must have gotten them refilled before he quit taking them. You glanced at the door and sat the bottle back on the counter and looked at yourself in the mirror.

There were bags under your eyes, huge ones from lack of sleep, as well as red eyes and eyelashes that clumped together from crying before you came into the room. Your hair was a wreck, you hadn’t brushed it in days, and you had been wearing the same clothes for the past few days as well.

Everything was just hard. Getting up in the morning was hard, showering even once a week was sometimes a struggle, keeping your room clean was hard, eating even just one time a day was hard, god, even looking at yourself in the mirror was hard. Yet, you still managed to maintain a grade average of all A’s, shower twice a week, eat 3 meals a day, maintain at least a little bit of a social life even though your friends treated you like shit, but it was still really fucking hard.

And it’s not like your parents made it any easier, in fact, they made it ten times worse. All they ever did was tell you what you were doing wrong. That you didn’t eat enough, your room was too messy, that you didn’t shower enough, weren’t social enough, didn’t leave your room enough. Didn’t this, didn’t that, nothing was ever good enough for them. It wasn’t like they weren’t aware you were struggling, you straight up broke down in front of your dad over stuff once and then your mom talked to you and you admitted you were really depressed and stuff was really hard for you.

So what did she do? Told you that god had a plan for you and blamed it on your phone. Oh and let’s not forget when she told you that if you didn’t stop spending so much time on your phone then you’d end up in a mental hospital and you wouldn’t have your phone at all then.

You couldn’t even eat a meal without her telling you that you did something wrong, so, you didn’t eat, didn’t leave your room, didn’t ask for things, didn’t even barely bother them. And all it took was one little thought of maybe, just maybe, they would be better off and happier without you, and that’s how you found yourself where you were now.

Your parents didn’t care, your friends didn’t care, and strangers sure as hell didn’t care, so what was the point anymore?

Your found yourself picking the bottle back up and pouring a handful of pills into your palm. It felt like everything was going in slow motion as you moved the hand up towards your open mouth.

It was all too much.

School, your family, friends, even yourself, it was all too much for you.

You couldn’t do it anymore.

And once you took these pills you wouldn’t have to.

Just as the first pill fell into your mouth, you heard the door open. You immediately snapped your eyes over, seeing Katsuki Bakugou standing there. What the fuck was he doing here?

The rest of the pills fell in your mouth, but you didn’t swallow, too shocked by the presence of him there, and he seemed equally as shocked. He stood there, frozen, for about 30 seconds before quickly picking up a trash can and holding it in front of you, “Spit those out, what the fuck are you doing?” He patted you on the back, causing you to spit the pills back out of your mouth and into the trash can, “What the fuck were you thinking? That many pills would’ve killed you, if you were in that much pain then you could’ve just asked for something stronger, how much of a dumbass can you be, I-” he ranted as he put the lid back on the pills and put them back in the cabinet.

“Katsuki.” You cut him off.

“What?” He asked, not sure why you used his full name in that tone.

“I knew the pills would harm me.”

“Wha- then why- …..oh.” He said, coming to the realization of what you were doing, and then he was in even more shock. You stayed silent and looked away as he spoke again, “Why?”

“I can’t do it anymore…” you admitted, sniffling a little and wiping your eyes, “It’s too much.”

He wasn’t sure what to do. A part of him wanted to hug and reassure you that it was okay and another part of him wanted to kill whoever made you feel like that. He glanced back at you and saw your face and decided you came first. It was no secret that he liked you, so after a while he just quit hiding it.

“Can I touch you?” After a nod, he pulled you into his arms, “Why don’t you start from the beginning, prince/ss, tell me everything that’s on your mind. I’m here now and I want to help you if you’ll let me.”

After a short sob, you told him everything that was on your chest, every incident, everything that made you feel bad and made you so upset to the point where you wanted to kill yourself. You could tell he was pissed, his palms were oddly warm on you as he sat on the bathroom floor, pulling you to his chest and gently rocking you.

“I’m sorry you feel that way, baby, it’s gonna be okay, I promise, I’m right here, I’ve got you,” he continued reassuring you as you sobbed. Eventually when your sobs turned to sniffles, he lifted your head out of his neck, cupping your face and wiping your tears while looking into your eyes, “Hey, prince/ss, you wanna know a secret?”

“What?” You mumbled.

“You’re the strongest person I’ve ever met. I’m proud of you for dealing with that all the time and still managing to live a somewhat decent life. And I’m proud of your grades, and how well you do at your hobbies, and how you care for others even though you’re going through hell yourself,” he kissed your forehead as you smiled at his words, “Oh, and baby?”

“Yeah, Kats?” You mumbled once again.

“Thank you for existing.”

You smiled and all was well. Sure, maybe your family and friendship problems weren’t fixed, your trauma was still there and your depression was still as real as ever. But for the first time in your entire life, you didn’t feel alone. And that was all you needed. Katsuki, was all you needed.

How would kirishima, tamaki, and shinsou (separately) handle having a s/o with physical disabilities? Like they use a wheelchair sometimes, have migraines, and faint. Nothing life threatening but impacts their daily functionality. (I'm happy to answer questions about what that could entail if that wasn't clear enough)

He’s really sweet and open about it and happy to help

Like he’ll help any way he can, he’ll pick up your meds for you if you take those and he’ll help you move from place to place

If you faint then he’ll slightly panic but he’ll push it aside and wait for you to wake up, checking your pulse and being fully prepared with some water and maybe a snack if he feels like it’s necessary or would help at all

He’ll also help you out if you have a migraine, he’ll get you away from everyone and give you some medicine that he thinks will help and he’ll do anything he can to make you feel better

Overall, he loves taking care of you and loves you just the same as he would anyone else, your the love of his life and he’ll always take care of you and love you no matter what

Tamaki Amajiki.

He wants to help but he’s really shy and scared to

He’s just worried he’ll mess up or do something wrong or offend you and he’d never want to do any of that, he loved you and just wanted to help but he wasn’t sure how to

He’d start out with subtle and simple things like making sure you took your meds or asking if you felt like fainting or a migraine coming when you were acting strange but eventually he’d get more comfortable and start doing more

He’d quietly help you out of situations that were making things worse for you and he’d push around your wheelchair for you

He’d probably shyly ask if he was allowed to do those things first though because he wouldn’t want you to think that he thought you were weak or couldn’t do it yourself, he just wanted to help you out and make you feel better

Hitoshi Shinsou.

I feel like he wouldn’t particularly help much unless you asked or he saw you struggling with something

You did it by yourself before, why would now be any different?

I’m not sure what else to say about him

I mean he’d probably do pretty simple things like grab something for you so you didn’t have to get up and check on you a whole lot after you faint or have a migraine but other than that I can’t see him doing too much unless you asked for more help

"Sleeping"

Eijirou Kirishima.

Deep sleeper, also a roller, you normally wake up to him completely on top of you if he wasn't already

He's also like dead weight when he's asleep, so you're not moving if he rolls on top of you

Also snores and drools, he snores so loud, you literally need ear plugs because of this mf- but it's worth it because his cuddles? Top tier, worth almost getting squished and your ear drums ruined because of

Talks in his sleep sometimes, but not too often (and sometimes it's about you and it's the cutest thing ever-)

But yeah, he's the most annoying person to sleep with- But you'll put up with it because you love him and literally can't tell him no, no matter how hard you try

Katsuki Bakugou.

He's a relatively light sleeper, he only really sleeps heavy if he's exhausted for whatever reason

Has an absolute death grip on you when you're asleep, you cannot get out of it no matter how hard you try, you can squirm all you want, he isn't letting you go

Snores softly occasionally but he isn't that big of a snorer and he doesn't do it that much

He's pretty easy to sleep with, you don't normally have too many problems, except when you need to pee but he won't let you go-

He'll literally be awake and still not let you go because he's a little shit-

Denki Kaminari.

Switches between a deep sleeper and a light sleeper, just depends on the night

Also softly snores occasionally but it isn't very noticeable

He is however a sleep talker, he says the most random shit in his sleep, also quotes tik tok audios in his sleep on the regular-

Also drools a lot, it isn't uncommon to wake up with a patch of drool on your shirt from him

He's mostly fine to sleep with as long as his random talking in his sleep isn't going to wake you up at odd hours of the night

He’s the sweetest ever

I feel like he’d be conflicted between wanting to rush things and take things slow so your first kiss would probably happened on the third date in, maybe fourth if he’s getting too shy (only if he has your consent to kiss you off course)

Omg, imagine his face literally all red and him playing with he sleeve while nervously asking if he can kiss you- he’s so fucking cute i stg-

Also, he’s not the type to just ask you out before going on a date first, that’s just plain rude and unmanly, he’s at least taking you out on one or two dates before you start dating

He takes you to do the weirdest but most fun things ever

Like he asked you if you wanted to go rock hunting with him once (which is just walking around and finding cool rocks) and you thought you would be bored out of your mind but you had so much fun

Hell, he could making watching paint drying while sitting still fun

Eiji just makes everything 10 times funner, you’re not sure how he does it, he just does

He’s big of physical contact and public displays of affection, he loves holding your hand and kissing you and cuddling you and carrying you when other people are around, but he won’t do it if he makes you uncomfy

His top priority is making sure you’re comfortable with what’s going on and he’d never do anything that you said you weren’t okay with or he didn’t have your consent to do

Like I said he’s just the sweetest ever (I’m calling him sweet when this is literally the bare minimum but that’s okay-)

He also randomly gets you gifts, like it’s not uncommon for him to randomly give you something to open up, eagerly trying to hurry you up so he can see your reaction and if you like it or not

If you don’t give him a grand enough of a reaction and he thinks you don’t like it then he’s turning right back around and going to get you something else that you’ll hopefully like more

BUILD-A-BEAR WORKSHOP DATE WHERE YOU MAKE EACH OTHER STUFFIES AND PUT YOUR VOICES IN THEM AND YOU BOTH CHERISH THEM TIL THE DAY YOU DIE

He very much encourages you to steal his clothes, and he’s not very slick about it either. Every time he stays over, he ‘forgets’ majority of his clothes at your house and says he’ll get them a different time when you try to give them back until eventually you start wearing them yourself

Memorizes all of your favorite things and always keeps them in mind when he sees that you’re upset or unwell

He’s just the sweetest ever and I need a Kirishima in my life asap-

Doesn't snore or drool or sleep talk, he's just sort of there when he's asleep 🧍

Like this mf doesn't even move when he's asleep, like sometimes you worry that he's dead

He's easy to wake up though and he doesn't get cranky so you can just kind of poke him and see if he wakes up or not

But if you're like me and HATE waking people up then you'll be sitting there, staring at him for hours, searching for any sign of life

But I just see that as an excuse to lay on his chest so you can hear his heartbeat to make sure he's still alive

Mina Ashido.

More lightish sleeper vibes?? I feel like she'd be somewhere in between a light and deep sleeper

Like quiet noises (door opening, floor creaking, etc.) won't wake her up but fireworks, loud cars, motorcycles, etc. will

I also feel like she'd have a hard time sleeping if she wasn't holding you, idk why, I just feel like she would

Minor sleep talker, like she doesn't do it often and when she does it's quiet (and most of the time about you) but she still does it occasionally

Definitely one of the best to sleep with though, 10/10 recommend

Ochaco Uraraka.

Light sleeper vibes once again

Likes being held when she's asleep, it just makes her feel safe, so she sleeps better if she has at least one of your arms wrapped around her

Hmmm, I feel like she snores and how loud it is varies, like sometimes they'll just be little quiet short snores and other times they're loud af

"Break Ups"

Author's Note: It's 1 in the morning and I'm sad, angst time 😎 also this hurt me to write

Eijirou Kirishima.

Immediately goes "what?" in like the most heartbroken voice ever, like him saying that one word is almost enough to make you stay but you know that you can't

Then starts crying while begging you to stay, like he literally gets down on his knees and begs you to stay (im literally about to cry from this image in my head, oh my god, somebody save me from my own creation-)

He acts like a little toddler when you drop them off at daycare for the first time and you tell them that you won't be back until later (except ten times worse cuz he knows you aren't coming back at all)

Eventually lets you go

He brings all of your stuff back to you like the day after you break up with him (including every single gift you ever gave him)

He's not even like mad about the breakup, he's just sad, like you don't see him smile for months after you break up

He tries to be friends with you afterwards but you can tell that being his friend is hurting him way more than it's helping him so you cut the friendship off

Anyways, now I'm in pain, lol :')

Katsuki Bakugou.

Doesn't even waste a second before replying "Okay, go then, I was just using you anyway, I never gave a damn about you"

And then you're the one being like "what?"

Lol reverse heart break, now both of you are heart broken, except he pretends like he isn't

But like everyone can tell he is, he never really trains too much anymore and he doesn't even hang out with his friends that much, he just spends most of his time in his room

Blows up every last thing that reminds him of you, as well as your stuff that he possesses and whatever you have gifted him over the relationship

Doesn't bother trying to maintain a friendship with you and instead treats you like shit from then on, constantly insulting you, purposely targeting you during training with the class

Mina Ashido.

Thinks you're joking and giggles "That's funny! Now come gimme a kiss!"

But when you tell her you're serious, she immediately gets a hurt look on her face and goes, "What? Why?"

Eijirou Kirishima.

Says yes immediately

I have a feeling he actually knows what he's doing when it comes to doing hair (Not taking care of it though, he uses 3 in 1, I'm sorry not sorry)

He can curl, straighten, braid, pull back, pretty much just whatever you want

If he doesn't know how to do something that you want done to it then he'll watch a million different Youtube videos on it and figure it out so he can do your hair

Katsuki Bakugou.

He won't admit it, but he loves doing your hair. But like I said, he won't admit it so his immediate response is "no, do it yourself"

But if you pretend to struggle with doing that specific hair style in front of him, he'll eventually snap and go, "you're doing it wrong! Give me that!" and start doing your hair himself

Has absolutely no idea what he's doing at first and claims that he will "figure it out since he's good at everything"

And he does figure out, pretty quickly actually

His favorite thing to do is braid your hair, like he could sit there for hours doing absolutely nothing but that (and sometimes he does, he'll just sit there, braiding and unbraiding it over and over again)

Denki Kaminari.

Do not and I repeat DO NOT, ask him to do your hair

He probably wouldn't be half bad if he actually tried, but he doesn't, most of the time, in fact he purposely messes it up

He'll purposely make huge ass knots in it cause he thinks it's funny

He won't purposely burn you or himself if he's curling or straightening it but he will do it on accident so don't give him either one of those

Moral of the story is don't let Denki do your hair

Purposely makes sure it shows in every photo he takes and if he doesn't then he'll retake it or ask whoever to retake it

If anyone questions it then he'll go on about how it belongs to his beautiful partner and if they have a problem with that then can blah blah blah

"Movie Nights"

w/ Kirishima, Bakugou, Kaminari (x gn!reader)

Genre: Fluff

Summary: What movie nights are like with them

Author's Note: This is my first post so don't mind if it's bad- but my requests are open if anybody wants to do that, and um, enjoy! (goddammit, I'm so fucking awkward-)

Eijirou Kirishima.

Two words. Popcorn hog.

Doesn't matter how many bags you make, 1, 2, 5, 10, he will eat every last piece of popcorn if you don't stop him

He doesn't do it to be mean either, he just genuinely doesn't realize how much popcorn he's eating

He also LOVES Garlic Parmesan popcorn seasoning, like you walked into the kitchen once and he was eating that shit with a spoon-

His go to movies are Disney moves but he'll watch whatever you want

Also his favorite Disney movie is Mulan and that is not up for debate

Horror movies do scare him a bit so be prepared to hold him and reassure him that it isn't real. And god forbid, you put on a horror movie that says "based on a true story" at the end, he isn't sleeping for the next week

Absolute sucker for a good love story or rom com tho, he comes prepared with tissues and everything

Hmmm, I also feel like he'd enjoy a good crime show too

So, basically, he likes everything! Just cuddle him and eat snacks with him and he'll watch whatever the fuck you want

Katsuki Bakugou.

Says he doesn't want popcorn, then proceeds to eat all of the popcorn, just to be a dick

Puts whatever the spiciest popcorn seasoning is on it, and he fucking PILES it on there, like he uses a whole container for one bag of popcorn

He'll let you pick the movie but he'll bitch about it the whole time whether he's actually enjoying it or not, but you can tell the difference in whether he's just trying to be an ass or not

Isn't the biggest fan of kid's movies but he'll watch them for you

Probably prefers action movies though

Secretly LOVES romance movies but claims he hates them because of his pride plus the fact that sometimes he starts crying when watching them-

Denki Kaminari.

He's pretty fair when it comes to sharing the popcorn but I feel like he'd enjoy feeding it to you

Like he'll grab himself a handful then offer you one by holding it up to your mouth

He likes every single popcorn seasoning flavor mixed together, he also gives a name to all of them mixed together and claims he's going to sell it one day and make millions

Summary: Kiri comforting his s/o after their friends are unintentionally homophobic

Author's Note: I dunno a good example of unintentionally homophobic so I decided to just go with using gay as an insult and using the f-slur. You weren’t sure when exactly it started but your friends would not stop calling things ‘gay’ or using the f-slur

Like for example, last week your friend’s car broke down and when they called and asked you to pick them up, they called their car ‘gay’ for breaking down, implying that it was a bad thing

And yesterday your friend got a bad grade on an exam and yelled that it was really gay of the teacher to give them that grade, once again, implying that it was a bad thing

They also had a tendency to call you a ‘fag’ as a joke, explaining that it was okay because they weren’t actually homophobic and still supported you no matter who you dated

That still didn’t make it hurt any less and after a long day of being called that and listening to your friends refer to negative things as gay, you ended up at your boyfriend’s door, tears brimming your eyes as you knocked

You paused when you heard multiple voices inside and nearly went away, not wanting to bother your boyfriend when he had friends over

But your boyfriend was too fast, opening the door with a big smile on his face, “Hi baby!! I missed you, what’s-”

He paused when he saw your teary eyes and sad face, “Woah, are you okay? C’mere.” He pulled you into a hug, “What’s wrong, sweetheart? You look like you’re about to break down.”

You shrugged and sniffled, and Eijirou looked at his friends, nodding for them to leave. Kaminari whined a little about how they didn’t get to finish their game but Bakugou smacked him upside the head and dragged him out, shutting the door behind them, leaving you two alone

Kiri sat down on the bed with you on his lap and wiped your tears, “You wanna tell me what’s bugging you, sugar?”

You explained what your friends were doing while you cried into his shoulder and he ran his fingers through your hair, comforting you

He gently shushed you when you started rambling and getting more upset, “Shh, it’s okay, sweetie, everything’s okay, alright? There’s nothing wrong with your sexuality, your friends are either just jerks or they don’t understand. But I’ve gotcha, okay? Tomorrow we’ll go talk to them, okay? I’ll go with you and we’re gonna explain to them that it’s not okay and it’s hurting your feelings, that sound good?”

You nodded into his neck and smiled a little, causing him to smile too, “Okay, sweetie, why don’t we put on a show or movie, okay? I’ll order your favorite food.” He handed you the remote and ordered you your favorite food, which he had memorized and kept track of as it changed

You picked what you wanted to watch and snuggled into him as he put his phone down and went back to running his fingers through your hair

He gently kissed your head and continued as you two watched the show, although his attention was on you the entire time, making sure that you were doing better and not about to cry again

You two spent the rest of the night like that, he occasionally whispered sweet things to you like “I love you, sweetheart” or “You’re so perfect, I’m so lucky to have you” and eventually after eating and changing into his clothes, you fell asleep on his chest with your head snuggled into his neck
