Fr!! You know how many times I still struggle with starting fics? 90% of the time the beginning of my fics is one of the last scenes to be written or even thought of. Every author, no matter the experience, struggles with not knowing how to start things off! You're not going to know the full story right away. Scenes change, ideas are scrapped, new characters might appear, that’s part of the process. You just have to power through that initial struggle of starting the story. Can’t start the beginning then go to another scene. It doesn’t matter what order you write your scenes. Don’t let not knowing stop you. Writing is just like any other skill; time, effort, energy, love all of that is poured into it

Ah, yes the ads. I feel like all the sites have ads these days….that’s why I love ao3 so much (all these free fics and no ads, truly a reader’s paradise). Always a smart idea to back up fics no matter where they live. I once saw someone lose everything because google locked them out of their account and wouldn't let them back in (I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, can’t imagine the pain of losing everything). I don't think anyone is brave enough to read a spicy fic out loud to another 💀 and if someone has then they truly have earned the title ‘god’s bravest soldier’

Had a quick look around FF.net and wasn't expecting the layout (it looks so retro to me, no hate to the site or anyone who uses it I'm just shocked by the layout). You're gonna make me cry. From the sounds of it you guys had something really special and while I’m some rando online I’m glad you could share your passions with someone you cared deeply for. That’s always something to cherish in life 💝

Yeah,,,,, when they show the villains in the current timeline I’m always like ‘yeah, mc. The hate for them be real’ but when they show younger versions of them I do a complete 180°. Honestly a personal attack against me. If you wanted me to hate them, why did you make them so hot in their youth???? Please, I’m just a girl. Funny that you say that. I never was a Peeta fan. Omg noooo. XD Starting fics! Aaaa- I feel that so much. There are times where that is what keeps me from actually writing them: coming up with a beginning. Mostly it's a jumbled mess of ideas and a couple of later scenes and no beginnings. It's just so hard sometimes! It's like,... Where to start? How far back do we take this? Where do we begin? And how? It's true! I can have an idea about where my story is going to go, but you never really know until it's written. Like, I'm certain the major plot points will stay, but the things that are addressed and happen along the way are almost always up in the air. Yes! I totally agree with that! People, it does not matter what order you write your story in, just write it!! Write that scene you really wanna write! You can write everything else out around it! But if you don't write that scene at all, you might not ever write your story because you're letting coming up with everything else get in the way of that and make the process not fun. XD I have so much stuff on my FTPOF and WWRG documents especially where it's like, so many scenes and dialogue that has not appeared in the actual thing just yet, but I am Frankensteining them into my story as I go, basically being like, 'Hmm... What can we add here today from my pre-written stuff? What topics can we address that we haven't already? Maybe sneak in some plot?' XD It's so nice to already have portions written, I cannot tell you the relief of having some of the work already done. And yeah, you'll have moments where you have to spruce up the scene, change it up a little so it fits better, but that's par for the course and it's just always nice sometimes to have those scenes already written and ready to go when you need them, even if some don't quite make the cut.

DX If they weren't so annoying, I wouldn't really care. Like, the least you could do is put them to the side or the bottom, not in the middle of the daggone story!! Especially on mobile where to scroll you have to touch the screen and I don't wanna click on the stupid ad (but that's probably what they want 🙄). Yes! One hundred percent! Make sure to constantly save on your computer/laptop while writing and have those files stored somewhere else safe too! (perferrably a disk or a flashdrive) DX Oh no! T^T Augh. I'd be devastated! Just losing my progress those one times brought me a lot of grief, I can't imagine losing every last bit! D': Do they still write? Oh, for real! >///< I could never.

XD Omg! Don't say that! I have so many! Maybe I should just post my fic recs as an entirely separate thing… 🤔 Though I'm afraid some of them will never see the light of day again due to what happened with Lunaescence. :') I'm so glad I saved a copy of one of my all time favorites: Initial Impact, but I could not tell you what the writer's username or what all the other works I enjoyed are and their authors without being able to look on the site.

Me too! Like, not only is it ad free, but the search system there… My goodness. So much better than anything I've ever come across. XD What other website lets you tag kinks and then find more works with that tag? While sometimes I do complain about layout changes from other websites, I think FF.net has not change anything since I first joined. It has looked that way for as long as I can remember. Because it's just something that I feel we should all be able to have at least once!

Goodness, if it hadn't been for them, I'd be a very different person, no doubt. Some of these writers out here really inspired me.

I have been!! I just gotta be patient! The person that was going to do it for me just had a baby, so I gotta let her have time to recover and take care of them first. I would have had it sooner perhaps, but… There's a lot of story behind this delay (like, over a year) and it's wild to me that it has taken this long. Part of me is like, 'Is there a reason I cannot finish and post this yet?? Am I not meant to, like what is going on? Is the world not ready for reader-insert Super Buu smut in the world?' DX They really are! But I've also lost stuff on paper too due to spills and my own and others' carelessness, so… You take a risk no matter what medium you go for. :/ XD Yep! Another! I have so many favorites… I can't hope to list them all in one session. Oh, for real! XD And I will admit, I am guilty of being a little mean. That little, "hehe. >:3" moment, but I just… XD It's frustrating for me too sometimes!

XD So oddly timed! Pff- Oh, yes! XD It just-- Why villain so attractive if not meant to be loved?? I have to wonder how many villains I harbor hatred for would I change my mind about if they just made them younger and gave them a tragic backstory. I'm such a fucking sucker for that! XD Though I do have a few villains that it's like, 'I hate you, but damn you're hot. 10/10 would fuck, but like, in a hate filled way. Give me the smut.' Asdfj- Same hat!! XD That's why I overlooked him so much and kinda- I don't wanna say hated him, but- I also kinda felt this wasn't the time and place for romance? And that he kinda forced Katniss' hand? And now that the Capitol believed it they just had to keep going with it? But coming into it as an adult,… I gotta respect the guy. He took a beating just to give her family bread when she was starving and broke through control enough to warn about the bombs when they had him drugged. And Katniss says so herself in the first book that she's not romantically interested in Gale, just jealous because she feels the other girls are trying to steal her hunting partner. Straight from the book: "You can tell by the way the girls whisper about him when he walks by in school that they want him. It makes me jealous but not for the reason people would think. Good hunting partners are hard to find."

And they clash a lot and, well, <.< considering with how Mockingjay ends with her hating and blaming him for, you know,... Losing the very thing all of this was all to save and protect. Can't speak for later books and her feelings there for them both that the movies don't cover, but I did sneak a peek at the ending of Mockingjay back when I was younger to see how it ended and looking back now, straight from the book itself, Katniss' thoughts: "That what I need to survive is not Gale's fire, kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that." And I just- The "real or not real?" questions just-- It does something for that hurt/comfort bug within me! 😭 The angst! Deep in the Meadow is definitely going to make an appearance in The Stars Aligned, and I Met You, just as For Fruits Basket will appear in FTPOF sometime in the future. Their respective lullabies... Good Lord, there's so much left to cover in those.

I legit came back to talk about OurSkyy MSP. There were many aspects of it that I loved and many more aspects of it that kind of disappointed me.

Things I loved

Firstly, I absolutely adored Music Club President Tinn. Gemini once again proves that his comedic timing is impeccable !!! He’s even more cuter and funnier as this universe’s Tinn. Adding on to that, we need to praise Gemini’s acting more. The range that Gemini has shown in all of the roles that he has played so far is praiseworthy and I wish ppl would praise his acting more tbh considering how good he is despite having the least acting experience compared to some of his co stars. Also, I never imagined that we would get a song like Love Love Love from Gemini. The song is so addicting and it’s already gone platinum in my bedroom. Gemini we need that full album 🥹🤟

Fourth my sweet child 🥺 was outstanding. It was refreshing to finally see Fourth in a role where he is rich and gay and not broke and gay (jkjk). High School president Gun was more mature than his counterpart in the OG universe and like even more openly smitten than ever. I’m sure he really enjoyed this role because he finally got to flirt with Gem to his heart’s content. He did really well with making this Gun distinct enough and yet familiar at the same time. And the scene where we hear his thoughts about Tinn on the first day of school is one of my favs (Gun is a bunny teeth Tinn enthusiast 😭🤟)

The Chemistry between Gemini and Fourth felt even better than ever. You could feel how much they were yearning for each other through their stares and bahviour. It felt almost tangible. Another thing I appreciated that even though the TinnGun in this universe are fundamentally different from their OG selves, they still retained some of their characteristics like Gun’s insecurity and Tinn’s characteristics of knowing and being sure of what he wants when it comes to his feelings for Gun.

Things that fell short

With msp having three couples, I understand the difficulty of having to balance everything but as someone who actually likes TinnGun more than any of the side couples, there just wasn’t enough of TinnGun interactions for me in the OS episodes. One of the things that made msp such a good show is the intimacy and interactions between Tinn and Gun as they got to know each other the further their relationship developed. While I understand, it can be hard to show the development of 12 ep show in 2 ep, we didn’t even get 10% of that intimacy and not enough of them talking to each other. While The hug and the handholding was nice, we didn’t even get a cheek kiss or a forehead kiss to make up for the lack of adequate interactions 😞 I was looking forward to seeing more of TG in our skyy but my expectations fell short.

The second ost mv took a chunk of the screen time that could have been better used to give a better Segway to uni students TinnGun but instead product placement was given priority. I actually like the mv a lot but this time could have been better used for a more complete story telling and the mv could have played in the credits similar to how it was for just being friendly mv or really just upload the mv separately on YouTube.

Lastly, the potential this scene had. The writers were definitely going ambitious putting in this scene for the Our Skyy episode and GeminiFourth delivered on the angst. This scene could have lived up to its potential if only it was given more time and depth but alas it fell short. It made me curious about how TinnGun we’re gonna come to terms with their feelings but because of the limited time and the interference of tiwpor, it felt like it was solved too quickly or like there wasn’t just enough time to digest all of it.

All in all, I just wish we had more of TinnGun. It felt really sad to say goodbye to such beloved characters on these terms 😔

ok i mean define A Perfect Life, right, like? hello? but uh. generally yes like my life hasn't been DIFFICULT as such but it hasn't been. easy. and there are definitely experiences and opportunities i havent had or been able to take advantage of for Reasons, and esp in an arts context it does fucking suck to see how many Brand New Up And Coming Writers are actually. from media dynasties or landed gentry and or went to cambridge and footlights yknow. like between that and not having any fucking money meaning i have to work meaning i cant get unpaid work experience because i dont have TIME meaning i cant get paid work meaning i cant do FUCKING ANYTHINGGGGGGG it does kill me a little. BUT! due to my Life Difficulties i have had some good experiences and ultimately would not trade my life for a different one because like. yknow. shit sucks for everyone i guess and yes i would rather be crying in a mansion than sitting here worrying about how we're gonna pay the bills but i mean. i am clinically depressed and insane so i'd probably just have other problems but feel guilty about them because i was rich and sexy so . who knows. uh. anyway to answer the question like. yes and also no because a perfect life doesnt exist which i know is a cop out answer so. whatever

I don’t know when you sent me this but for some reason I just noticed it and sorry I don’t know what happened, plus like I had to check what I had even been saying like I def didn’t remember talking about puzzles lol

Buuut I remember now. Kihyun said Minhyuk would be 300 pieces of a puzzle, as in average difficulty (which is REALLY not like I’m really struggling here to see that as average difficulty when I have been doing 1000-10 000 piece puzzles my whole life but that’s not the point) and then he would be a bit less, just 250 or so.

and I just said that that’s just… doesn’t seem true to me, but it really depends on what you mean by difficulty. Difficulty as in… how clever each of them are, well, they’re both pretty dumb (all due respect and love) so I can’t really elaborate on that because there wouldn’t be much of a difference (jkjk they’re intelligent lovely people both of them and if you know my blog you know how I have a gigantic crush on Kihyun), and if Minhyuk sometimes ends up being a total dumbass, like when he guessed the country as Argentina in the radio show when Kihyun gave him an I initial as a hint, it’s just because he literally DOES NOT STOP TO THINK. And that’s just how he is and I have learned to appreciate it so I don’t know what Kihyun meant with difficulty level but most likely not in terms of cleverness anyway.

But difficulty as in… which of them would be easier to “solve” or get “close to”, you know? Because they’re both whole personalities who deserve everything they can get and no person deserves to be said that he’s “hard” to handle, but… if you compare Kihyun and Minhyuk to each other… it’s just. Minhyuk is a messy personality with full of interesting quirks and he really genuinely seems to be a funny person to spend time with, but he also seems to be much more open about stuff. Showing his feelings and opinions, telling you if you hurt him, not trying to play the cool card all the time, letting people laugh at him. Naturally there must be hidden sides of him, but if you compare him to Kihyun, he seems much easier person to figure out. I might be wrong about this since I don’t know them in real life, but Kihyun actively seeks to hide lots of stuff about himself. He gets embarrassed really easily, he definitely tries to play the cool card all the time, he’s not touchy at all, he’d rather have people respect him and look up to him… those kind of things, which force me to think that it’d be slightly harder to find your way into his deepest secrets and thoughts. Or that he’s much more sensitive about them. Idk.

But if you have a differing opinion, you may certainly have it, I just wrote that tag without thinking much.

Edit: Idk if I was clear enough but what I essentially meant is I’d make Kihyun’s puzzle to have like, 500 pieces (in comparison to Minhyuk’s 300) instead of 250 what he said. Kihyun’s own opinion was that he’s easier to get along because he doesn’t deny people but that’s just the tip of it really so? Maybe he would have more... tempting picture in the puzzle but it’d be bigger and harder to make?
