Law called Tim and Z Dynamic Duo. Didn’t he call Tom and Z that as well? I could be being unfair and I could be clouded by the fact I neither like nor trust him. But I find it hard to believe with the time he spends on social media twitter etc that he didn’t know the controversy he would start by putting them in matching outfits. He reads he knows what it posted regarding them. That designer isn’t the only one in Korea. He could have easily showcased two. jmo

Finally got ep 2 in Canada and even though we saw the extras shooting these scenes in the boat and then the cast at the stones, before it was forced to be taken down, the damn episode has me crying! Now that deserves a Jesus H Roosevelt Christ!

I watched it last night, or better said after midnight here. I watched the first episode last Friday, and the 2nd one this night. I saw all the praise for the episode and a lot of people saying they were crying. I'm not the kind that starts to cry at a movie or a series that easily, and... I didn't. In short, episode 1 was okay-ish, I paused 3 times getting distracted. Episode 2 I watched without pausing, but I didn't had any JHRC moment or any tears. Call me an Ice queen if you like, 😂 but yeah... it was okay, better than ep 1, but not got me crying.

I thought the storyline for Mandy was a bit rushed, going through the stones and all. But in the below video MBR seems to have some explanation for it, as well as for why they had this try to go through the stones in the previous season.

Also found it a pity there wasn't a bit more of Alan to show. I heard they've shot many more scenes with him but lots ended up at the cutting floor. Pity 😞 think it could have been played out more and better.

As for the storyline of Wendigo Donner. I wonder if non-book readers would get the full meaning of it at all. There were some flash backs, yes, and a bit of explaining by Claire and Donner as well. Still if you haven't read the books I could understand people would not quite get it.

Overall the acting was okay - good. Best Claire and Roger. Curious how the storylines with William will be played out. I liked his appearance. All JMO

i mean at the very least i think that lou knows based on the script he read for 6 that we are at the end of buck/tommy romance and he can hint at that because of the script. if he was here to be Buck’s queer awakening love interest and he thinks at least for now that he’s finished as of 7x06, I can only assume there’s a reason he thinks that particular piece of the arc is done based on whatever happens in the episode. So I’m guessing Buck/Tommy ends there and hopefully they can be friends and he’ll be able to come back in the future, but for now I’m not expecting the romantic piece of their relationship to last beyond the wedding. JMO and then I wonder the reason why they break up and I truly think it's about the Buck and Eddie of it all because Tommy is gonna know, hell he knew in 4.

Could be! I just don't want the entire fandom banking on it, because we all thought Marisol was toast in 7x05 and she wasn't. She might not even be toast in 7x07. It's fun to speculate and try to predict but we shouldn't put ALL of our hope in one episode because it's going to lead to disappointment if we don't get what we want. Just sleep well knowing it's going to end at some point.

Also, the original post said that the mission, (so long as JMO Selik is stranded in this year/timeline) was to "record [our, the people of 2023's] written characterizations and artistic depictions of my fellow Starfleet officers, past and present," is that going ok? Did we get anything horrendously weird or wrong about Starfleet and its officers, or leave out any details? (aka please you can share headcanons haha)

Are they assuming we're right about the things they don't personally know, are they taking fanfic just as mUch for granted as any other form of star trek media, are they reading a spirk or a daforge fic going "i knew those two had something going on?"

I shall attempt to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge. Do note that your curiosity is most appreciated.

1. My Bachelor's degree is going well, albeit slow. My original field in question was xenoneurobiology, but given that other sentient life forms have yet to be discovered, I am prepared to settle for regular neurobiology. In particular, I am most curious as to where humanity lies in the field of neurosurgery. I shall have to explore it within medical school.

2. My current mission has been a success thus far. I have noted that several artistic liberties have been taken with respect to some of my history's important figures. I actually do think it’s MM in the photo. The stupid hat and Cartier jewelry (and her oddly long spider leg like arms) are a dead giveaway, JMO. And it seems like she has moved on from SWF-ing Kate to Delfina now. Meghan is trying to dress very Santa Barbara rich mom/ hippie chic, especially with that dumb fedora. I was reading this article again and noticed not only the report that is allegedly false re break in - Skippy and Anons please help fact check this ??????

The article continues:

What is odd about this?

All the reports and speculation that have surfaced include:

1 the porn video that surfaced 

2 the relationship with porn something or other 

3 most recently Soho connection Nina speaking on Deep fakes and ‘porn’.

Why all the scrubbing of alleged past sex work? No judgment. 

To me, this looks like a calculated campaign to cover for past choices?

One uses ‘ I am an actress it was a scene’ other uses ‘I am an educator’. 

I also find it interesting all the updates to various articles although good practice.

Regarding Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial . I have read , but started listening to today. JMO, I think this is his swan song. Not in a fatal way,but in a way that he can explain the insanity . To himself, to his children etc. he does not want abuser to be his legacy. He is trying to fight that. He’s willing to talk about anything. His addictions etc. just does not want to be seen as an abuser. I don’t think he is. Horrible couple though. Just a nightmare.

Hi. Where to start? Horrible everything. I remember when I started watching OL. Where is the freshness, the spontaneity of the first season? The interviews are so boring, the same questions and the same answers for ten years. The poorly organized lackluster premiere. Pathetic panels. They are unable to even coordinate how they will be dressed or how to position them for photos. The terrifying light. The clothes they wear and horrible hairstyles. It's like beginners. It is supposed that the experience of the years would make them gain in elegance. I have the general feeling that I started watching OL, a magnificent series and magnificent presentations and cast, and it has become the Roman movie of SH. Fiction and reality. I would like to know your opinion? Do you have this feeling? I think that in the end the most interesting thing in the whole week in NY is knowing the identity of the strong blonde walking with SH. Now the last interview on Andy Cohen makes sense... someone strong to dominate him, festival in a limousine. Maybe the strong blonde is the same as jack freda. Please, what do you think about all the topics?

Well, I wouldn't say horrible everything, bit too negative to my taste. I do remember myself when I start watching OL. Longtime readers here know, I just started watching the show since late 2019, when already 4 seasons were out. It was recommended to me by friends and some people I do from time to time discuss and share recommendations with for shows to watch. But the description of OL sort of held me back. I'm not the romance or fantasy type of watcher. A good story, believable or relatable has more prio for me.

Anyway, I started watching nevertheless and read some fo the books (not all, got stuck in book 5). I didn't watch any interview or anything before the show, wasn't aware about the fandom (and all that was going on within it), just gave it a try without knowing anything upfront.

In hindsight, I think it was more the beginning, the story about Claire and Frank. And when she went through the stones I actually was more hoping for Claire to get back to Frank! I think those 2 characters and actors, intrigued me more than Jamie. Tobias M playing Frank as well as Black Jack, I thought was what most stood out for me.

As said, I'm not the type for watching romances, so for me seeing how Claire and Jamie would be a couple was a bit... meh... too obvious, too much like a cheap roman booklet where you can predict what is going to happen. I'm one of the few that's not drooling over their romance at all, I'm not waiting for intimacy or any of that kind of scenes just for the sake of it. It didn't need to be that graphic for me, and it still doesn't need to be included for me. It seems more to me it's like, that's what the 'fans' want.... it's not really that contributing to the story at it self (JMO).

Anyway, the impression I had of Jamie (and the actor that was totally unknown to me), was more like is he the next handsome guy showing off his body. It changed at the episode Wentworth Prison, and the very graphic scene with Black Jack. So that's when I started to get curious, is he the next handsome guy that maybe can act?

I watched S3&4 as well and started reading the books. Looked up some things, actors, interviews, Diana Gabaldon... and slowly got intrigued by the fandom. Well maybe by the side of it that astounded me, the things going on on Twitter. It was during S5 promo that I saw things that made me go like whoa, what is that!?!

Covid came around, and I somehow landed here on Tumblr. Was a lurker for a long time, didn't actually wanted to create an account or get involved in anyway... well, that turned out completely the other way around 😂😂😂

I had rather a steep learning curve about the fandom, did the Trazzies, which was also not intended, but fun. You can still watch them on my Youtube Channel as well as some other videos... (yes, the Hawaii-gate - Excuse me)

I do think, knowing more about the fandom, the actors, and watching interviews etc. has affected me. I'm not quite sure if I would still watch the show actually. I don't watch all these interviews, I give some a try, but most of them are not that interesting and I quit halfway. Some (the ones I post) are okay-ish. What I take away from it is to me it seems that most media that was interested in the beginning is not interested in it anymore. It's secondary media, zoom interviews in a hotel room... and yes the RC this time was 🤐 (That interviewer during the live stream was the most annoying person I've seen, I actually screamed at my screen, one more 'I'm so excited' and I would have thrown something at the screen, ugh).

After reading the reviews I posted, I must admit, the show has become more and more a soap opera. On screen as well as off screen 😂

Hmm the blond, is not the same as we saw at that lunch at JWF last month. At least, the one I think was at the lunch is not the woman he was seen walking from the hotel. I'm still poking around a bit on that one. I'm actually surprised nobody mentioned or seen that one detail that the woman could possibly identified by positively... and thus we could know who or what.... A red flag though already is, them walking from the hotel together, when he knows fans and photographers are waiting outside. Anyway, perhaps I come back to it later on. I do have a mailbox full of requests about my opinion regarding those pics. But I first want to see if I can explore it any further (based on the details I did see....). So to be continued.... maybe 😉 (not promising anything).

It’s prob a weird question but why does he never read any novel type of books? Why is it always some kind of physiological self help stuff? 😭 I mean those can be fine too, but I feel like reading a normal fiction book could actually be more beneficial in some ways. JMO 🤷‍♀️
