If you have so far enjoyed the messy roller coaster that has been John Mulaney and Olivia Munn’s relationship, then surely you have also been patiently waiting to see when Olivia would give birth to their baby, whose conception happened in an indeterminate month of origin. Word on the street was that Olivia’s due date was a conveniently vague “at the end of the year.” So I’m sure a whole lot of people were expecting a Munn-Mulaney birth announcement any time between now and December 31st, 11:59 pm. We got one, but the baby was actually born last month, one day before Thanksgiving.

Sources with “direct knowledge” tell TMZ that Olivia gave birth to a boy in Los Angeles on November 24. There’s not much info beyond that. John confirmed that Olivia was pregnant with his kid on Late Night with Seth Meyers back in September after Olivia was seen in public wearing suspiciously baggy sweats. There were rumors that Olivia and John had called it quits back in October, but as of right now, the word is that they’re still together. And I’m sure that those who have had an eyebrow raised since all of this started, just saw their eyebrow inch a millimeter higher at the thought of this baby being born in November. But you won’t get word one out of Olivia on the subject, because she refuses to talk about that timeline!

Previously to Olivia, John was with his wife of six years, Anna Marie Tendler (who announced in May that John had asked her for a divorce after exiting rehab). Speaking of that divorce, it looks like the baby made it to the finish line first. So sorry John! I’m sure those expensive lawyers will be able to wrap things up nicely in the new year?

John Mulaney and Olivia Munn are introducing the world to their baby boy.

The Newsroom alum, 41, and the comedian, 39, shared sweet photos of their newborn son, Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney, on Friday via their Instagram accounts.

"My Golden Ox baby. Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. Happy Holidays," Munn captioned her post. Wrote Mulaney on a snap of his son sleeping: "Meet Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. He has his whole life ahead of him. He hasn't even tried seltzer yet. I'm very in love with him and his whole deal. Happy Holidays."

Mulaney revealed that they were expecting on Late Night with Seth Meyers in September. "I got into this relationship that's been really beautiful with someone incredible ... And we're having a baby together," he told host Seth Meyers at the time.

"Olivia and this baby have helped save me from myself in this early journey out of recovery," Mulaney added. He checked himself into rehab last December following a decades-long battle with addiction.

Munn told PEOPLE in September that she's "really excited" to become a mom, adding that they were "still deciding" whether to find out the baby's sex before the delivery.

"I've been getting a lot of rest and eating the right foods. And my friends have been giving me some great advice. That's been keeping me sane!" she shared, adding: "What's helped me the most is when friends tell me not to compare myself to other pregnant women."

"My mom crochets and knits a lot of stuff," added Munn. "She makes little rattles or stuffed animal toys already. This is still a new experience for me so to see my mom excited makes it feel a lot more real! I'm really excited."

Just four days it was reported he was getting a divorce, People magazine is now saying that John Mulaney and Olivia Munn are currently dating after meeting at church. John has had a pretty exciting week for a guy who looks like his biggest thrill is switching the refrigerator ice maker from cubed to crushed. On Monday we learned that John, fresh off a 60-day rehab stay for alcohol and cocaine addiction, decided he wanted to get divorced from his wife of seven years, Anna Marie Tendler. Anna Marie released a statement about the divorce, in which she made it clear it was John’s decision, and that she was “heartbroken” over it. Anna Marie might want to hide her phone and take the weekend off with a couple of close friends because this news probably isn’t going to help the situation much. A source close to 38-year-old John tells People that he and 40-year-old Olivia met at a church in Los Angeles and that it’s a very new relationship:

What kind of church did they meet at? John has mentioned in his stand-up that he grew up Catholic, but they are both famous people, and this church service happened in Los Angeles, so my Hillsong and City Church radar is pinging pretty hard. But Mieka also suggested that they could’ve met at a Scientology service. And if that’s the case, then this story has officially driven straight off rails and into the wrong side of the freeway. Then again, I don’t remember hearing anything about John praising the miracle workers at Narconon in his recent return to stand-up comedy. So who even knows what kind of church this is.

Page Six adds that Olivia has been into John for a long time. They both met each other socially several years ago at Seth Meyer’s 2013 wedding and remained friendly with each other. And in 2015, during an interview with HuffPost Live, Olivia made it know she was really into John, even if he was engaged to Anna Marie at the time:

“We were at a wedding together and I was like ‘Oh my gosh, do you and your fiancé want to go have dinner or something and go hang out?” she said. “At first it was cool, and then I kept going up to him at the wedding like ‘So, you having fun?'” she said. “I was just so obsessed with hanging out with and talking with him.”

Munn added that she emailed the then-engaged comic but he never emailed back. “I might’ve got the wrong email – probably. That’s what I tell myself,” she said.

She also gave him a shout-out back in December, when it was reported that he’d checked into rehab:

It’s not often a tweet is able to serve as both support and an open-door invitation for the future. But as mentioned above, neither of their reps have confirmed anything, so this is all hearsay for now. I’m sure one day they’ll go public with it. And I’m sure that if it’s short-lived, it will end better than some of her previous relationships. Like the ex-boyfriend Olivia dated, who she suggested on a podcast was secretly gay because she didn’t think he was good in bed. If Olivia decides to imply the same about John after they break up, he’ll likely respond: “Me? Gay? Yeah, you know what, probably.”

Olivia Munn has dropped the kind of clue that will likely have John Mulaney fans pulling up their calendars and doing some trimester-based math while counting on all ten of their fingers. Olivia recently gave an update on her pregnancy, and she made it clear that you should expect to hear the news of her baby’s birth sometime later this year.

A couple of weeks ago, John confirmed what a lot of people figured out already, which is that Olivia Munn, allegedly his main squeeze since exiting rehab, was pregnant with their baby. It’s messy because John claims that after leaving rehab in October, he moved out of the house he shared with his wife Anna Marie Tendler, and then met “met and started to date a wonderful woman named Olivia” in the spring. But this past May, Anna announced John was divorcing her and that he asked for the divorce in February. Now Olivia is pregnant and she’s due before the clock strikes midnight on December 31st, 2021.

And if that baby is born any time between now and December, it’s bound to be awkward to walk back nine months previous and possibly land on the month of February. If your name is Anna Marie Tendler, that kind of estimated gestational breakdown probably doesn’t feel too great and has you clenching your jaw so tight, your teeth could turn into diamonds.
