OK this will probably be my last finnpoe post but I was thinking about what I liked so much about their dynamic in TROS and it’s because we get two different energies from Finn and Poe respectively.

Like, Poe’s reactions to Finn are kind of like having a crush on someone and not admitting it to yourself or anyone else but you’re also terrible at hiding it?

So the jealousy just comes out and you can’t help but look at the person or do little touches and you just want to be around them so you wait on a cliff with your hand out for them to take even though they’re clearly not coming back to take it any time soon

Whereas Finn’s reactions to Poe are like the two of them have been married for 40 years and he loves him and still has the hots for him

but he’s also like *rubs temples* what if I --- no, you can’t divorce him, Finn, you love him. Dammit.

And both energies interacting with each other constantly was just really fun to watch!

jasldkjasg i don’t follow that many ppl and i don’t new blogs very often so it will literally just be a list of my mutuals but sure! hope u like finn stans bc i don’t care about anyone else's thoughts on star war. also don’t worry i’d never recommend a reylo ever we don't like them clowns ‘round here.

first and foremost here are my hivemind my home skillet biscuits my trusted big-brained legends no matter what:

You seem like the person to ask. Is there an existing petition to get a stormpilot alternate ending shot and included on the dvd release, and if not, who would be the fandom Overlord I can chat to about making a petition like that happen? (Besides Oscar Isaac obv being the Fandom Overlord, unless you know of a good way to contact him.)

I do not have knowledge of such a petition. There are a few who were made before Episode 8, but that’s it.

Sadly I think even if the petition would reach two million signs Disney would not do such a thing. Our hopes rights now are mostly in the following post-TROS novels and comics.

Nevertheless such a petition would send a sign to Disney that we are interested in more LGBTQ representation and FinnPoe content in the Star Wars universe. And other movies that are owned by them. 

I never identified a “captain” in the FinnPoe fandom on tumblr but here are the most active FinnPoe blogs on tumblr who maybe know more about that topic:
