on the topic of torture...

long-ish post pointing out the victims' injuries

obligatory johnny quote to start things off because unfortunately i have a johnny url. above is a line probably in reference to the fact that the family decided to kidnap everyone instead of outright killing them. roughed them up a bit and then just left them in the basement, i guess.

[for those of you unaware, the victims ended up on the family's property in the first place because they set up camp out back behind the gas station, and the family snatched them up in the middle of the night. gun wants them to be responsible for the little campsite pam/kirk walk by in '74]

most of the victims have pretty bad neck bruising, which is interesting considering that johnny's thing is strangulation. most of the bruises look to be a result of blunt force rather than squeezing, but maybe he's responsible for a few.

also, i'm wondering what gun meant by tortured. physically, down in the basement while they were tied up? that's messed up. i wouldn't put it past them. at the same time though, these injuries could've easily been acquired when the family raided their campsite... depends on how brutal you think the family is, i suppose.

take a looksie. 90% of these images are from the cosplay guide.

first off is ana. like everyone else, she's got bruising from her restraints, as well as a few impact bruises. the cluster of cuts on the side of her face/neck suggest an encounter with sissy or nubbins. she's also got smaller scratches that could've been from sharp branches and the like.

connie seems to have it the worst out of all of them, but it might just be because everyone else's injuries are more hidden by their clothing. she's got a huge bruise on her side with a few smaller ones accompanying it, like she was kicked and then beat with a stick a little. she also seems to have been knocked on her knees and elbows, and hit over her doggone head. oh, connie...

sonny's injuries are simpler compared to connie's. he seems to have been grabbed roughly by the arm, and maybe by the throat too. (the throat bruising could've been from rope, though?) his hand is covered in blood, maybe from holding that wound in his side.

i do not have good pics of danny beyond this promo image. did he get hit in the neck or is that another ambiguous hand/rope bruise? who knows. his knuckles are bruised, but it doesn't look like he was punching anything.

jules has got a lot going on. tons of scratches and bruises. the scratches look like they're from fingernails or sharp branches since they're so minor. she's got a bunch of cuts/bruises down her right elbow, maybe from being dragged. look at those knuckles - if anyone tried to fight back, it was julie.

lastly, we have leland. I've never actually gotten to play him... does he start the match hanging from his ankles or something? why aren't his wrists bruised? they treated this guy like a princess compared to everyone else. i think they bit his adams apple a little and then called it a day.

Who's at fault?

I have thought a lot of things through, and I have come up with a list of all the people who are at fault for Johnny and Dally's death.

Bob - This is obvious, he was literally the one that jumped Johnny and Pony. A little bit Randy as well.

Cherry - If she had never invited Johnny and Pony to sit with them, then Randy and Bob wouldn't have gotten jealous and probably wouldn't have jumped them that night, not leading to Johnny killing them, running away and ultimately dying.

Those stupid children - If the children had never been exploring up in the church, then they never would have been trapped in there, meaning Johnny and Pony would never of had to run in there and Johnny wouldn't have gotten hurt, meaning he wouldn't have died, and niether would have Dally.

In some sort of way Johnny's shitty parents - Of course Johnny's parents are horrible and they deserve to die, and they are at fault for a lot of things, but if they had never been abusive to Johnny in the first place, then Johnny wouldn't have been staying out at the lot. If he hadn't been in the lot, then Ponyboy wouldn't have ran there, and most likely would have ran to Johnny's house instead. They probably would have stayed there, and might not have gone to the park. They would be safe inside and wouldn't have gotten jumped. At least for then. But if they did get jumped by Randy and Bob another time anyway, then it would probably be during the day, where there would be more people around, and the gang might have been there to help.

I actually have more peolple to blame, but they are members of the gang, and I don't want to blame them. I also don't think its there faults, and they have been through too much for me to blame them.

If ya wanna hear my reasons you can. But not now.

OG Cobras Headcanons!!

- Johnny was the one who dyed Dutch’s hair. Dutch talked about wanting to go blonde for a bit so Johnny helped him.

- Bobby is the oldest, Jimmy is the second oldest, Johnny is the middle, Dutch is the second youngest, and Tommy is the youngest.

- They each have very different personalities.

- Johnny is sweet, sarcastic in a good way, and also a little bit shy in certain situations.

- Bobby is compassionate and literally THE therapist friend.

- Dutch is antisocial and aggressive, but less of that around his friends.

- Tommy is the class clown that’s actually funny and SUPER sarcastic.

- Jimmy is shy and standoffish, but is also one of the funniest people you’ll ever meet when he does talk.

- Johnny is a huge over-thinker, so is Jimmy.

- Tommy had a cigarette mom.

- Dutch’s mom kicked him out when he was 15, so Johnny and Bobby pulled money together to get him an apartment.

- Jimmy is the only thing stopping the other cobras from losing their minds to Cobra Kai, since he’s such a damn sweetheart.

- They are all amazing cooks and bakers and learned in different ways. Johnny learned from cooking classes Sid forced him to take, but actually enjoyed it. Bobby learned willingly from his mother and really loved it. Dutch had to learn to cook for himself because his mom abandoned him and his dad died in the Vietnam war. Tommy would always cook for his mom ever since he was little. Jimmy was like 4 and he saw his favorite movie character cooking and decided to try it when his mom and dad weren’t home and made a mess of the kitchen. After that his dad taught him how to cook and bake properly.

- Tommy has ADHD.

- Jimmy has social anxiety and went through depression.

- Dutch has PTSD and responds to it with violent and illegal behavior.

- Bobby has problems with overworking himself and gets stressed very easily.

- Johnny has intrusive thoughts and always jumps to conclusions.

- Jimmy comes from the most wealthy family in The Valley, and Johnny’s family is second to them. Therefore Sid doesn’t like Jimmy that much.

- Sid doesn’t like any of Johnny’s friends really but most the time Johnny just says fuck you and hangs out with them anyways.

- Jimmy has HUGE mood swings.

- They all act different when drunk.

- Johnny mind dumps and talks about the most random bullshit ever.

- Bobby can become angry because of bottling his emotions up, but he also rarely gets drunk since he’s the designated driver.

- Dutch gets all giggly and soft.

- Tommy starts becoming a stand up comedian and makes the whole bar laugh.

- Jimmy becomes emotional and cries.

Love languages

Johnny

• Johnny is so protective. He doesn’t have much, he only had Cobra Kai, his friends, and Ali. And then he lost Ali.

• Johnny is huge on physical affection, gift giving, and quality time. He will constantly get his s/o gifts, even if they say no.

• If he doesn’t get constant cuddles, hand holding, or any form of touching from his s/o he will become a nervous wreck and overthink a lot.

• He loves cuddling with his s/o and whispering sweet nothings in their ear.

• Needs constant attention or else he will have a panic attack.

• He gets SO jealous it’s not even funny.

• His favorite names to call his s/o are: Babe, Darling, and Love.

• Claims to be a top, but is actually a huge switch.

Bobby

• Bobby is more laid back. He’ll be a good partner, but also his s/o best friend.

• His love language is physical affection, lots of attention, and acts of service.

• He doesn’t get jealous. No matter what.

• He will always do things for his s/o, like their homework or make them meals.

• Bobby loves it when his s/o brushes his hair, so he usually keeps it a little long and shaggy.

• His favorite names for his s/o: Sweetheart, Hon, and Cutie

• Surprisingly a switch.

Dutch

• Dutch is overprotective and possessive as hell. He constantly needs to know where his s/o is, who they are with, etc.

• His love language is physical affection and acts of service.

• He’ll steal stuff for his s/o since he’s literally a criminal.

• If someone is flirting with his s/o, he will put his arm around his s/o and straight up make out with them right in front of whoever is flirting with them. (That sentence made no sense help)

• He will fight anyone for his s/o. It doesn’t matter if it’s a guy twice his size or someone half his size, he won’t stop until he wins.

• Takes his s/o to parties and they get drunk together.

• He’s not big on nicknames, but he’ll occasionally call his s/o babe.

• Literally the only top in his friendgroup.

Tommy

• Tommy’s love language is acts of service and LOTS of quality time.

• He’ll make his s/o laugh SO MUCH. Bro is the funniest person on earth when he’s around them.

• Cuddling and watching a movie so him.

• He takes his s/o on motorcycle Just so they will cling to him, even though he isn’t big on physical affection.

• Can talk to his s/o about anything for hours. Everyday is a mind dump.

• Plays with his s/o hands before holding them.

• Also a switch, but mostly top.

• Loves the nickname prince/princess for his s/o.

Jimmy

• He talks about his s/o to his stuffed animals or his friends for hours if he isn’t talking to his s/o for hours.

• His love language is quality time and words of affirmation.

• He would try gift giving but his s/o said he didn’t have to do that so he respected what his s/o wanted.

• But he gives amazing gifts on holidays cause his family is rich rich.

• He has so many hyperfixiations and loves sharing them with his s/o.

• He treats his s/o like a damn god/goddess.

I've been watching someone talk about how good Tattletale was, and the Kaleidoscope DLC and bow my brain is shoving Taleblr animatics in my brain that I'll never do but will talk about

Yes this is centered around Johnny, Jimmy and CBF. Who else could fit the bill?

Like: Ghost having warped memories of his childhood, the peacefulness and feelings of parental love. He goes to a more private area only for a tense Jimny to be there going, "wait, this didn't happen like this! Buckle up buddy boy: we're going investigating!" And they uncover more and more memories that feel so nice but so so wrong.

Then Jimmy pulls the "ok you have two options:..." card. He's seen this before. Has he gone through this before with someone else? Has he had to make the choice himself? Who knows!

They head off to the Kaleidoscope and after both having a mental breakdown of CBF being there and possibly causing it, they unfuck everything and a sudden memory slaps Ghost in the face that feels normal until the pun happens and CBF hit him with the "ORANGE YOU FORGETTING SOMEONE?!" Oop it's time to go.

Then they check and see that it's mostly intact so Jimmy is all: "holy shit you survived; better than my attempt. Welp, see ya next time." and dips, leaving Ghost to chill for a bit.

This mainly came about from that chase out of the Kaleidoscope. I can just imagine CBF going, "I love you so much" and "Don't leave me!" and"you'll never escape" whilst Ghost and Casket gtfo of there, knowing that it's all lies to get them vulnerable.

Just ajfhfkgjjgotkgofk THE IDEAS! THE ANIMATIC IN MY HEAD! I am shaking this around like a dog GOD IT FITS SO WELL
