- I think something that could attract you to Dio is how he treats you as a common man

- It's easy to get disconnected from reality when you're royalty and I can assure you that Dio has no problem with humbling you

- Though if you two make the daring decision to make the relationship public, he'd prefer it if the opulent lifestyle was on full display

- Dio enjoys it when you spoil him rotten shsvsj

- Material goods really are useless to him and his goal, but who is he to deny you when you give him expensive jewelry and say that it brings out his eyes?

- Definitely exchanges kisses to show his appreciation for it all; they're always passionate and leaving you dazed when he pulls away

- And if we're talking about post-mask Dio here, you're getting vampire'd too no doubt about it

- If he wants to have an eternal reign, he's going to have his prince by his side regardless of circumstances

- Similarly to Jonathan, a royal lifestyle that Dio has always wanted and having you by his side is just a bonus

Fan art dedicated to the 'A Thousand Answers' fanfiction on AO3. A little project that has nearly driven me insane but overall I think it turned out okay (mostly). For anyone who's read the original it can be noted that some changes were made and yes, I had to edit some scenes and dialogue in order for it to better fit a comic format. Jonathan Joestar + Angel AU

‘This is the end,’ you thought, eyes squeezing shut as the knife plunged into your chest. Your sister screamed behind you, tears rushing down her face as you fell to the ground. Blood pooled around you, wasting no time in staining the alleyway red.

The robber looked at you, face drained of color. He dropped the knife hurriedly, rushing out of the cramped space and around the corner. 

With shaking fingers, your sister dialed emergency services, sobbing incoherently as she recalled the events that had just happened. If you hadn’t jumped in front of her, she would be where you were right now, bleeding out in her arms.

Everything began to fade out as your eyes fluttered shut, the pain ebbing away. You grasped your sister’s hand comfortingly before your body shut down completely.

Suddenly, white surrounded you. You stood in an endless expanse, sunshine filtering through tufts of clouds and illuminating the calming space. Your body bore no wounds. The blood on your clothes had vanished. You glanced around the ethereal plane, unsure of how or why you were here, but relaxed nonetheless. It was like your body couldn’t get anxious in this place.

“Hello, (Y/N),” a deep and soothing voice spoke, carrying a British accent. A large figure stepped out of the clouds. Deep blue hair framed a strong face as a white tunic flowed elegantly around his muscled body. His eyes met yours, and you were suddenly looking into an endless turquoise sea. “You must return to Earth. Your life is not finished yet.” 

You blinked. “What’s going on? Where am I?” Your tone held no fear, only curiosity as you stepped towards the towering man.

“I’m afraid those questions will have to wait until your stay here becomes permanent. For now, please take my hand as I guide you back to your earthly form.”

As if pulled by an invisible force, you reached forward and grasped the gentleman’s outstretched hand. A white glow enveloped you. You shut your eyes, blinded by the extreme light.

A familiar voice called to you, beckoning you back to consciousness. “(Y/N)! Oh, my God! You’re finally awake!” Your sister sat next to your hospital bed, tears streaming down her face as she enveloped you in a hug. You felt the wound on your chest ache at the contact.

Your hand moved to rest on your forehead, a headache forming as you squinted at the bright hospital lights. “I had the weirdest dream,” you whispered as you processed your current situation.

Last thing you remembered, a blue-haired man took your hand, and before that, you remember a dark alleyway and a piercing pain in your chest. You knew getting stabbed was all-too-real, but what about that peculiar handsome man? He bore almost angelic features.

For some reason, a name threatened to spill from your lips as you thought back to him. “Jonathan.”

A silhouette sparkled for just a moment in the corner of the room. He smiled knowingly before vanishing.
