Happy Pepero Day

Kyungsoo is shy. He know deep inside his heart, he loves Jongin. He never admit that he loves him but everybody except Jongin know.

“Go confess to him on Pepero Day! Give him a pepero than spill all of your feelings to him.” Jongdae said to him one day

“Nope, Dae. We are not more than a best friend.” and Kyungsoo denied once again.

But, it’s 10th of November and he started rethinking about what Jongdae said to him. ‘I can gave him one as his hyung, so I’ll give him pepero.’ That’s what he thought and off he go buying pepero.

It’s the next day and Kyungsoo is nervous. He wanted to give the pepero as soon as possible so he wouldn’t feel anxious anymore. So he decided to stand up and goes to Jongin’s room.

He’s on his phone when on the way so he bumped into someone. And it’s Jongin. He’s nervous as hell because he hasn’t think of what he will say.

“Hyung, I’ve been searching everywhere for you and I’m so glad I met you here, happy pepero day!” Jongin said as he hands Kyungsoo a box of pepero. “I’ve noticed lately that I’ve grown some feelings for you. I’m too scared to admit it so I keep it by myself. I think today is the right day to confess all my feelings for you.”

Kyungsoo froze. He can’t move and he can’t believe what Jongin just said to him and he drop his pepero and his phone. He starts to tear up and closed both of his eyes with his hands.

“Hey, hyung. It’s okay if you don’t want to, we could just forget what I said and grab some ice cream maybe?” Jongin leaned in and hugs him. He put Kyungsoo’s head on his chest and he let Kyungsoo cry on his shoulder.

“Do you want me to leave?” Jongin asked after Kyungsoo calmed down.

“No, stay.” He tightened his grip on Jongin’s shirt. Two boxes of their pepero are long forgotten in the floor.

“Tell me what’s wrong?” Jongin asked and Kyungsoo moves his head to meet Jongin’s eye.

“I… I do like you too. For a very long time. I’ve been keeping it too but suddenly everyone knows. I don’t know how to confess to you so I’ve been thinking for this day to-” His sentence never continued because Jongin leaned in and kissed him slowly. He pulled back and stick their forehead together.

“You just made me scared hyung. I thought you rejected me. So, it’s our first day?” Jongin asked while fixing Kyungsoo’s hair and wiping his tears on his cheeks. And Kyungsoo nods.

ps : i know pepero day is yesterday but better late than never!
