if you haven't already and if you want to watch a (only slightly) different version of jack's character you should watch seb stan in the show 'political animals' too (his filmography is so funny)

I know what happens (😬) thanks to my sister who read the books and watched the series. She has filled me in on the unfortunate details but I am assured I will have plenty of content, and eye candy moments, to enjoy before very happily tapping out prior to that particular event.

I'm mostly annoyed because I managed to not care about this show for a decade but I am so far down the Pedro rabbit hole I have no choice but to watch at least his arc. I used to be so normal about him 🤣

I really hope they don’t kill Will my tiny gay son (also I’m hoping they won’t just cos of the issue of writers getting a lot of flack for the bury your gays trope)

I just personally the show needs to grow a pair and kill off a character that really means something as opposed to somebody we barely know beyond “oh that’s kinda sad, anyway”. It’s the same issue I had with the battle of winterfell episode of game of thrones, the plot armour of all the main characters was so thick during that episode that in the end when nobody of real consequence died it was very underwhelming for me. Like, ST is a great show but I don’t often feel like the main characters are ever really in that much danger of dying so I’m not sure the sense of stakes is there.

For Will specifically, it’d be sad and I agree the whole gay thing would be a big issue but I do think if it happened it would probably be one of the most impactful in terms of how many characters it’d affect, and it would be a full circle arc for his character even if a sad one. Basically I just want a main to die in volume 2, Vecna is objectively scary yet I don’t ever feel like the characters are in danger from him

Aaron's annoyed Mack didn't answer him on the phone, Mack says he didn't want Aaron to think he was at his beck and call.

Aaron says once he's through being Beyonce independent women! He's got something to show him, Mack says actually that it's Destiny's child before she went solo!

{ These two are hilarious together Aaron's not great on pop culture though not far off with Beyonce and Destiny's Child. I'm sure we remember Aaron's Jonny Versace remark. }

Aaron says there's a car he's got his eye on parked in the village, Mackenzie thinks it's reckless to take it broad day light. But as Aaron's arguing they need to take it before it moves they see Cain arrive to take it to the garage.

As Mackenzie says 'ack well' assuming they have to give up now Cain has the car, Aaron asks him how he feels about lying to Moria, Mack says not good. Aaron puts a plan in motion to draw Cain away from the garage so he can take the car not deterred perhaps wound up by Cain's put downs.
